The view from the lighhouse is breathtakingly beautiful and worth a visit. It is one of those views in life everyone should see at least once. It is truly humbling to stand and look out across the ocean, feel the cool breeze against your face and the salt spray on your tongue.
the signage however is a let down and does not give enough information about the area or what there is to see. It would be good if it also included some information about the inhabitants of the area and the species of animal that can be found there. It would also be good it if was moved closer the the end of the driveway so if could be more readily viewed. The walking tracks are a little overgrown . While we were there, we saw a huge Samba deer dash further into the scrub, rabbits nibbling grass, and a hawk flew over our heads. There were wrens flittering about in the meadow nearby. We saw deer, dingo, kangaroo and wallaby tracks along the walk which was exciting.
