Hidalgo

Delightful evening, pleasent food. I had the carpaccio japense wagu, too cold to taste and only one piece, the other two slices were alto adige sliced meat, tasty but nothing memorable. Meal was enjoyable but service wasn't great.

Beautifull rooms with fully equipped kitchen, great view with a garden.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Good service from reception and the breakfast was delicious. It's expensive but worth it as there was nothing we would change. It was exceptionally hot when we stayed and a fan for the bedroom would have been a help, but we realised that it was not the normal temperature.

Tucked away and not that easy to find, this restaurant is worth the effort getting there. Focus lies on meat. I tested the local one, not a revelation, not the best cut. Very pale for "dry aged" and a couple of grams short of the announced 500 grams a 38 euros. (wrong attitude for a restaurant advertising itself as the local Wagyu expert) Preparation was state of the art. The wine selection is broad, the mark up is reasonable on local wine. The 2 of us had a 3 course lunch with a local reserva for 180 euros.

We had a very great time at the Hidalgo Suites. The fact, that a lot of local people use the restaurant for lunch and dinner show the quality of the food and service. Starting by the welcome, which was warmhearted, the service at breakfast, the fresh and delicius dishes and way the employees treat their guests. This is perfect, the way it should be. Thank you Christina and your entire time for the great moments and the always smile on the face.

We spent two nights in one of the suites. They were spacious and felt like home. Everything was spotlessly clean & the bed was super comfortable. Wonderful place. Also, the breakfast was personally served by one of the receptionists who was very friendly & caring. Absolutely recommending it!

The flats were newly completed when we arrived. For me it was tastely furnished, maybe too bare for some. We had a very comfortable one bedroomed flat with a very spacious bathroom with shower. Living room with a full kitchen, dining table and chairs and sofa. The balcony is west facing with a table 2 chairs, 2 recliners and a great view. There's a free underground car park. Breakfast is available in the restaurant and offers a good selection.

Many stairs, no lift. No washing mashine- wash by demand for 7 euro per THING. No microwave, inconvenient kettle, no kids playground and no space to walk outside the hotel. Shops, town and everyting are reachable only by car. Unpleasant smell of mustiness in appartment. Housemaid leaves balcony and bathroom window open after cleaning, so you cannot take a shower or dress off after breakfast. balconies have metal fence so child sees nothing. bad regulated heating. Bad floor cleaning - they never wash and can leave not sweeped at all. Staff does not understand english. We were asked to pay for rasty water tap. Bathroom set and tea/coffee are not added forevere, you even need to ask for toilet paper. wifi is weak and asks for login every time when laptop wakes up. There are many more convenient appartments in this area.
