"Sommelier Ryan Hsu and chef Daniel Negreira might as well turn Hidden by DN into a Spanish wine museum. Its wine list covers the following from Spain: Cava, Sherry, local red, white and sweet wines, brandy and other liquors, with prices ranging from below NT$1,000 ($32) for house wines to above NT$20,000 ($640) for rare finds. In one dinner offering, one can taste Negreira’s ingenious contemporary dishes alongside six unique Spanish wines selected by Hsu. I came here for lunch, that one starts at ~1,000NT, u have a few choices each one, some options need to add a bit money. I'm not a foodie, but presentation was quite creative and interesting, flavors well balanced, a bit too much focus on things living in the ocean, but if u don't mind that then the whole menu would fit you like a glove. For Main most of our staff picked beef stew, the amount was plentiful and everyone was pleased with the flavor, I had the Australian lamb and I cannot praise it enough, perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, absolutely amazing! Recommended, but do check their menu online and see if it's in a comfortable price range and food offered is to your liking.

The dishes are unbeatable. Delicate balance among various flavors and fresh bites from local food supplies. Chef Daniel poses as a landmark in Spanish food in Taipei. Too bad he is moving to Yilan 😔.

2023.01 Had such a wonderful dinner experience there! The environment here is pretty casual, but a bit semi formal is still fine! And the waiters are all nice and thoughtful! The only sad part is, the portions are a bit too small, maybe if they can remove one or two only okay dishes and gain a bit of other’s portions more~ (The fish and the secret one are only okay, nothing special. A brilliant experience, not many tables so the distance is good and not noisy. Menu set are for lunch and dinner with different price. All dishes were plated very well and every dish had it's own unique taste using local seasonal ingredients. I would say that the taste is better than xxx star restaurants and creative design is well experienced. A set pricing is affordable for the meal comparing the other Michelin star restaurants.

A very private experience, not many tables so ambience is good. Menu was is a set menu with a few selection choices on mains and starters. All dishes were plated very well and every dish had it's own unique taste. Service was very personalized and can't be faulted. Pricing is fair for the meal. Overall not a bad place but be sure to book in advance.

Great value and vibe. The background music is subtle, doesn’t disturb the conversation. We had the set dinner, and order additional lobster, US prime steak and ham! The ham is the best, and we love the secret pork, and all the seafood selections! It be is a place that you could invite your clients for a relaxing meal.

Not quite sure why there are such high ratings. From the decor to the table settings it all seems a little tacky and not high end. The lighting in the basement makes it seem like you're dining in someone's living room. Not a high end one at that. The food is good, nothing amazing in terms of flavor and presentation. Nothing jumps out and screams Spanish fine dining. The portions are very small but you would get full due to the high number of courses. The service is okay, it seems they have their menu memorized but they don't seem genuinely professional. To charge $2399 per person for dinner you've got to do much better. There are places like Chou Chou, nKU, Toh Ah that are miles ahead and within the same price range. We ended up paying $3100 each with a glass of wine each. Not worth a repeat visit.

It’s a great place to eat as they use very good ingredients and the cooking is refined, elevating humble dishes to new levels. This is one of the best places to eat. The service is very good and the proprietors are friendly people who make people feel special. It is one of my favorite places to have a meal.
