Hidden Canopy Treehouses

Our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 young adult children) had the most spectacular experience at Hidden Canopy Treehouses. Jenn and her entire team have created an environment where their guests consistently feel welcomed and valued. Their service was top-notch and we couldn’t have had a better time. They want you to enjoy their Inn, but also their community. We joined Koky for two local tours….he is as fantastic as described. He added so much to our trip and overall experience. Thank you Jenn, Koky and the rest of the team for providing us with Costa Rican memories that will last a lifetime! We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing stay with Jenn and her team at Hidden Canopy. What a treat for us, 4 days of being pampered and having a treehouse that was luxury standard. ||Breakfast was super with personalised touches setting you up for the day. We used Koki the guide twice for tours and just loved his ability to speak to the birds. Afternoons were spent looking out at our wonderful views , watching hummingbirds and then having sundowners with the rest of the guests- we had a lovely group of people whilst there. ||Taxi services were easy to arrange and helped us make the most of our stay, ||Jenn thank you for making this an unforgettable treat in our 3 week trip to Costa Rica.

What a marvelous time we had at Hidden Canopy! This special property is so unique and completely itself. The owner, Jenn, sets the tone for the place, and she makes you feel like family right from the start. She and her staff will happily arrange for tours of all sorts, set up restaurant reservations, and advise on anything else you might want to see and do in the area. Even though the weather was sometimes less-than-ideal during our too-short time there, Jenn and Jennifer were able to rearrange our planned activities to maximize breaks in the weather, and set up indoor experiences on the fly that we really enjoyed. They know the ins and outs of everything in the area and are masters at creating an itinerary tailored to you. | |Breakfast times and daily happy hours are fun events, with great food and beverages (don’t miss the cocktails and sangria!), a nature show below in the garden (complete with coati, agouti, and a huge variety of birds), and a chance to get to know Jenn and the other guests while sharing ideas and information about your respective local adventures. Do not miss the opportunity to do a night time or morning tour (or both!) with their dedicated guide, Koky. It is amazing the amount of things you will see in his company, and he is a wealth of information about all of it, as well as being a lovely person. | |The property itself is a charming warren of raised walkways, garden spaces, and wooded trails, all available to explore. Everything was well-marked and easy to navigate. Our treehouse, Neverland, was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. We appreciated the thoughtful box of snacks to enjoy in the room or on the go, and the complimentary bottle of home-made sangria in the mini-fridge. | |Everyone at Hidden Canopy really makes you feel taken care of in a genuine way (shout outs to Gary, Jennifer, and Nacho). It feels as if their priority is really making sure you have the best possible experience you can in your time there. This is a truly special place. We look forward to our next visit!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Hidden Canopy beyond our expectations. We continued to be pleasantly surprised by the accommodations, the generosity of Jenn and her amazing staff and the beauty all around us throughout our stay. As others have mentioned, Jenn creates a warm, friendly atmosphere for all of her travelers to meet each other and share their adventures. She takes delight in making all of her guests feel special. We will never forget the people we met, the laughter and the stories told especially at happy hour. Thanks to Jenn and staff for making our epic mother/daughter trip unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated as honoured guests. Jenn and her team go out of their way to ensure that you have an exceptional experience. Nothing is too much trouble for them.||The hotel and grounds are quite simply beautiful - teaming with birds and with a family of Coatis to keep you entertained. ||We stayed in the Glade treehouse which was superbly equipped and furnished. Staying at Hidden Canopy is like staying at your best friends house. Jenn and her staff made us feel so welcome. The weather was a bit of a challenge, but that was easily forgotten. We stayed in the Avalon treehouse and the highlight of every day was to connect with other guests over breakfast and tea time. At those times we would share our plans for the day and later in the day we would review what we had done. Jenn is well connected to the community and made great suggestions. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We look forward to going back in the future.

My husband and brother and I recently stayed at Hidden Canopy at the Rivendell treehouse. The house was beautiful and comfortable with a once-in-a-lifetime kind of view overlooking the Gulf of Nicoya.||We particularly enjoyed "teatime" where we got to meet and get to know Jenn, the owner, Koki, the excellent guide, and the other guests. We ended up going out to dinner with the other guests a few times while we were there.||The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, and the Coatis, Agotis in the beautiful garden.||Jenn is particular about her rules and, at the same time, she and her entire staffl go out of their way to make it a great experience for all of her guests. We felt seen, cared for and pampered.||It was incomparable experience!

One of the most unique and awesome places I’ve ever stayed. We had a group of 7 and stayed in Rivendell and Avalon. Jenn, Jennifer and the rest of the staff made everything easy. Beautiful property. Delicious breakfasts, including gluten free versions of nearly everything for my wife. Highly recommend the tours with Koky, as well. Hope to return!
