17 Remarkable Coffee Bars to Discover in Orange County | Eater LA

"Located in a historic house on a picturesque street that feels utterly removed, this hidden gem is worth the venture. While the coffee menu is delicious and the pastries are baked in-house, it’s the good-heartedness of the owner that elevates this cafe to something truly unusual. Hidden House is owned by a local Marine, and the San Juan location has incidentally been dedicated to town veterans, as noted by the cafe’s Wall of Honor. There’s also local lore about the place bringing luck in love after multiple people, including the owner, fell in love on the front porch." - Jordan Morosco

Google
Welcome to the not-so hidden house of coffee! It’s a very popular spot in Santa Ana. They roast their coffee beans and bake their pastries in house. As I try each new item I’ll update this review, so keep checking for any updates. All in all, it’s a great place to stop by and get some work done. Stop here to enjoy the enticing ambience of chirping birds in the outdoor seating. The staff is very approachable and super friendly. The three times I’ve been, I’ve gotten my coffee quickly! I tried their pistachio latte and right away I could taste that the beans were smooth and less acidic than I’m accustomed to, not a bad thing! I liked that it was milky but not too sweet, the pistachio and coffee balanced well together. I look forward to trying their other coffees and pastries so I can give better recommendations. Update 1. The chamomile tea that they use is great! But the water is too hot for the tea. There’s a perfect temp just before boiling that makes tea, delicious. Any proud tea snobs will know what I’m talking about. Update 2. The cold Maple Brown Sugar Latte is great for your average casual coffee drinker! It’s not too sweet and pretty light in coffee flavor. Due to how gentle it was on the coffee, I found it lacking in caffeine strength boldness. Still great! Totally recommend, and I can see why it’s so popular. The foam is delicious!

Wow, just visited The Hidden House in Santa Ana, and I’m already itching to go back! Walking in, you’re hit with the awesome sight of their pro roasting setup and the warmest vibe from the staff. Ordered a brown sugar latte and a hot latte—both were straight-up phenomenal, hands down some of the best coffee I’ve had in the area. You can tell they’re serious about their craft, sourcing top-notch beans straight from farmers and roasting them with crazy attention to detail. The place feels like a cozy spot to chill or get some work done, and the service? Spot-on. If you’re in Santa Ana, this gem’s a must-visit for coffee that’s next-level special.

This is a great option in Santa Ana. I've been here a few times when I've been in the area and have always had a good experience. I usually get a flat white and the coffee quality is always pretty good. The service is always pleasant and the shop has a nice atmosphere. Their pastries are also good and they make them on site. I also appreciate that they offer ceramic cups for drinking it there. They have a great patio in the back with plenty of shade. They have some large tables, which are nice for a big group. They do also have some indoor seating, but that is more limited.

Google
Hidden House Coffee is an unique coffee shop. It is set up in an industrial building. The atmosphere is relax and informal. I visited them on a Thursday mid morning. The staffs were friendly and efficient. The Cappuccino was a bit bitter. It tasted better with the red ceramic mug and plate set. The croissant was average and a bit flat in the bottom half. The bagel bun had some good fillings. Overall, I will come back.

Google
Super cute spot we found driving to San Diego - wanted to get some coffee beforehand and this was right off the freeway not too far from the exit . Cute little brick building with charm . Super hip. The inside is nice and spacious - also plenty of outdoor seating . We ordered a drip coffee ( the notes were heavy on fruit - not my favorite) then we ordered house made honey latte and a flat white - they were good 👍 looks like they make their own beans in house so everything is fresh - also ordered a butter croissant- it was delicious ! Definitely a good spot to try if out in this area.

Google
Finding cool coffee houses while vacationing. This place checks all of it. Cool vibe. Great selection of drinks and food. Helpful service. Great coffee. Really enjoyed the pistachio latte. Pastries are pretty good as well - highly recommend the bacon bomb and scones. There are indoor and outdoor seatings. Dog friendly. They also see coffee beans and merchandise

Google
I must say, this is one of the best coffee places in the whole world. Having traveled to 36 countries and hundreds of cities, I always crave this coffee when I’m abroad. The moment I return to my city, I head straight here to enjoy their coffee. The way they prepare it is simply exceptional—so good! Their lattes and cappuccinos are the creamiest I’ve ever had. The owner, Ben, truly understands the coffee business. I just wish they would open more and more locations!

Google
This spot has a chill vibe. Lots of people working from the coffee shop. The Pistachio latte I ordered was delicious and the almond croissant was good. I’ve been to their San Juan location multiple times but never this one. It’s worth a stop!! Cheers

Yelp
We had the absolute BEST experience with Hidden House Coffee at our wedding! From start to finish, everything about working with them was seamless, easy, and so enjoyable. Booking and communication were a breeze. They were quick to respond, clear on details, and made the whole process stress-free. On the wedding day, they showed up early, set up beautifully, and were ready to go right on time without us having to worry about a thing. The coffee itself? Outstanding. Our guests could not stop raving about the lattes, cappuccinos, and cortados all night long. The quality and care that went into each drink was evident. They also went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs, offering a variety of milk alternatives as well as decaf coffee options, which helped keep my health conditions safe. That thoughtful touch meant the world to me, and it gave me complete peace of mind to enjoy the night. A special shoutout has to go to DJ and Blake, who stayed the entire day and night serving drinks with the same energy and friendliness from start to finish. They were kind, professional, and incredibly skilled baristas, keeping the line moving while still delivering perfectly made drinks every time. Our guests loved chatting with them just as much as they loved sipping the coffee! If you're looking to elevate your wedding or event with something unique, warm, and memorable, I cannot recommend Hidden House Coffee cart enough. It was such a hit at our wedding and truly added a special touch that people are still talking about. Having them there felt like such a treat, and it made our day that much more special.

Yelp
I've been going to Hidden House since they first opened. It remains my top favorite cafe in OC to work, study, or just grab a drink. I've also visited their cute wooden cabin location in SJC. This Santa Ana spot is a gem, tucked away in a neighborhood, an old brick warehouse, with a parking lot conveniently located right next to it. There's just something magical about Hidden House...not just the amazing drinks (smooth coffee), house-made pastries, and the aroma of freshly roasted beans but also the vibe. It truly helps me focus and get into the zone for studying/working. I can honestly sit here for hours and be productive. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. The place is always clean, and you'll often see regular local customers. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the drinks here (especially their seasonal...and we all know their strawberry puree, pumpkin foams..etc are always freshly made in house). My personal favorites are the espresso tonic, pistachio cold brew, and just a standard classic latte. Their house-made pastries are also a must! They have one of the best banana cakes and they'll even heat it up for you. Lately, I've been struggling to focus while studying for a certification exam, so I've been coming here every weekend to stay motivated with a drink and a slice of warm banana cake. I'm not usually someone who stays at cafes for hours but Hidden House is that kind of place. The vibe is just right and the drinks make you want to slowly savor the moment. Truly thankful for this place! and for all the friendly staff and the amazing baker!

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service yesterday at Hidden House Coffee. As a local Santa Ana educator, I often meet at Hidden House Coffee with program alumni to check-in and guide them, as well as community partners and other local professionals. The person at the counter yesterday evening was so rude and dismissive, she has me reconsidering my options. When my former student pleasantly asked if Hidden House had anything peppermint, she responded with a flat "No." No recommendations. No tour of the menu. Just "No." Later, when he went to ask about the baked goods, still friendly, he asked,"What kind of snacks do you have?" She studied him and responded with,"Snacks? What do you mean?" As though she were unfamiliar with the word. He then asked about the muffins they offer. She said,"It's listed on the case." I know this is not the norm for Hidden House Coffee, as most of my interactions with staff have been fine, not stellar, but not blatantly rude. High-priced coffee is worth it when it tastes as good as yours, but I start to reconsider my options when my associates feel unwelcome and disrespected.

Yelp
Stopped by Hidden House Coffee and ordered the brown sugar maple latte along with the breakfast burrito. The latte was everything I hoped for--smooth, flavorful, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, I should've gone for a large because it was that good! The breakfast burrito was on the smaller side, but what really made it shine was the orange sauce that came with it. I'm a huge fan of breakfast sauces, and this one was a total homerun--savory, tangy, and the perfect complement to the burrito. Great coffee, great flavors, and definitely a spot I'd recommend for anyone looking for a cozy breakfast with a quality cup of coffee.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place and its industrial urban vibe. Not a lot of seating on the inside, mostly just bar top, but there is also a cute outside patio that had more tables. I had a banana matcha and it was perfect and came out to about $8. My one critique is that the parking lot is actually free to patrons of the coffee shop, but there are no signs that indicate that as you park so I unnecessarily paid for parking buuut the matcha was so delicious I wasn't even mad about it. This is a great spot to get work done or catch up with a friend and I do recommend.

Yelp
I have to say Hidden House Coffee in Santa Ana was worth the trip even just for coffees. Few blocks from the store Harveys, creators of the iconic seatbelt bags and walking by bakeries only they were closed on a Wednesday, ended up at Hidden House Coffee to chill. Such warm and laidback atmosphere I can spend all day there! I enjoy signature coffees whenever I'm in a coffee shop I feel good about and I had the Brown Sugar Maple Latte hot. Not overly sweet which was nice and less guilt. It was a beautiful sunny day, the outdoor area was perfect to enjoy the moment. Service was welcoming and attentive.

Yelp
My wife and I stumbled upon this coffee shop and loved it! She ordered the hot Maple Brown Sugar latte and I ordered a regular coffee. Both were excellent --- the Maple Brown Sugar Latte was indulgent and not too sweet. We sat both inside and outside to read. Inside has a really nice buzzy vibe to it --- a kind of positive energy that makes it conducive to working. Outside, especially on a great day, is a relaxing place to chill. Hidden House Coffee does have its own parking (although I parked on the street) so you're not totally reliant on street parking. The staff here are very friendly.

Yelp
First time visitor to Hidden House coffee, I was attending. Womens networking meeting. Parking was an issue since the streets had construction, they do have several spots in the parking lot but were full. To park , you have to pay $10 . I love the vibe, it's very clean, staff was very attentive. I ordered the strawberry matcha which was excellent. My gf order a coffee and the staff member was kind enough to comp the drink because of the lack of parking. I love the back yard area - the large tree and space made it very welcoming I didn't try any food but will definitely come back to try more options.

Yelp
Delicious house made coffee. Right in cute downtown Santa Ana is this lovely cafe. Beans are roasted in house and the special lattes are delicious. Indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio filled with natural shade. Really feels like a hidden cafe out here. The pastries are delicious as well. Matcha is always delicious as they have use good grade. Service was great and all drinks are made with care. Free parking in HHC spots in the paid lot next door. Read the sign inside the cafe so next time just disregard all the QR code pay mobile app parking signs if you park in a designated spot (: check out their IG for seasonal items and more

Yelp
Such a space, eclectic place! Lots of seating inside and outside. Theres's Wi-Fi available. Parking is questionable. Friendly and quick service. I ordered the pumpkin latte. Wasn't too sweet which is good.

Krystal R M.

Yelp
Big fan of this coffee shop and roaster! There is ample seating both inside and outside. It's the perfect spot for meeting up, studying, or working. The staff is always welcoming, I have yet to be greeted by one person in bad mood. The coffee quality and baked goods are impeccable. All food is made on sight, plus you can watch them through the window, and they care about coffee quality/taste. Big bonus! 10/10 would recommend

Yelp
I come to Santa Ana twice a week for work, and I like to stop by Hidden House sometimes to finish work while sipping some yummy coffee. I love to sit on their cute back patio, which has plenty of seating. Parking is in a public lot nearby, which at first glance seems like it charges you parking by the hour - but you actually don't have to pay if you park in the "HHC" spaces. I made the mistake of paying before, so I want to warn my fellow yelpers! My only gripe with Hidden House is the price of their drinks... I know the economy is partly to blame, but I truly can't justify coming often when a flavored latte with normal milk costs $8... but overall, HHC is a great place to get work done and serves high quality drinks!
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
The matcha is extremely disappointing, I was hoping since most cafes have taken more initiative with their matchas they'd be up to par, but you can see it's a chalky green with lack of flavor. It's essentially sweet milk, I'd recommend not ordering this if you like matcha. The iced latte is great, they offer several syrups that they make in house. I've historically visited for their espresso and baked goods, which has never disappointed!
google avatar

Lawrence M.

Yelp
I went here at 1030am on a Saturday, and there was a short line leading outside the door. We waited ~15 min by the time we got to the front of the line. I ordered an iced vanilla iced latte with cold foam and it was delicious! There is an indoor space as well as a cozy patio in the back where customers can enjoy their drinks. Parking may be a bit confusing, but as long as you park in any designated HHC spot it's free for customers. You can ignore the signs that mention having to pay on the app.

Yelp
Came to this coffee shop expecting a small, cozy space -- but it's actually surprisingly big and spacious! A nice hidden gem tucked away in Santa Ana. The coffee was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but still enjoyable. Great spot if you're looking for somewhere quiet with plenty of room to relax or get some work done.
google avatar

Missy K.

Yelp
Dog friendly enclosed safe clean decent place. This cozy coffee spot is a hidden gem with a welcoming vibe and excellent coffee. The baristas craft smooth espresso and creamy lattes with care. The outdoor patio is a standout--comfortable, shaded, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. They offer a few light bites, like muffins and small snack options, that pair perfectly with any drink. A great place to unwind any time of day. One star less for no free parking
google avatar

Julia T.

Yelp
Seasonal latte was delicious and perfectly caffeinated. Parking is free in the lot next door, great fast service. Very busy on a Friday. Free wifi, places to sit outside (picnic benches, tables). Meetings would be best out there. Bar around kitchen had lots of people working.
google avatar

Kathy L.

Yelp
Coffee was just alright, nothing amazing. I think it's mostly for the ambience here. I had the pistachio coffee and it honestly is very milky and watered down without much of the coffee taste coming through. Staff is friendly. Parking can be hard.

Hallie C.

Yelp
I walked in planning to get beans and head home, but turns out buying a bag comes with a free drip or cold brew! I went with a cold brew and it was fantastic. The staff were kind and upbeat, and I enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Great study spot; lots of comfy chairs with decent table space, there's free wifi, and it's quiet outside. There's also spacious park benches outside for large parties Their 12oz bags are $22-25 with single origin being on the pricier end (I paid $25 for the Mexican beans). Blends are medium and dark roast whereas single origin are light and medium. Factor in the cost for the free drink and you have some of the best priced, fresh beans in OC! My bag was roasted 6 days ago TLDR: I usually make my espresso at home, but I will be back to try other beans and study
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
A charming coffee shop offering house roasted beans in a commercial building. It has a nice industrial type of vibe woth plenty of seating both inside and out. The barista was friendly and they are pretty fast for how busy they got around the 9 o'clock rush I ordered the Pistachio Latte hot, which was a little nutty, rich and smooth.
google avatar

Nora G.

Yelp
First time trying this place and I absolutely loved it! A warm, homey ambiance that immediately makes me feel a bit more relaxed. The outdoor area is beautiful with string lights and green trees. I had the bagel bomb which is filled with cream cheese and bacon bits--DELICIOUS! I also had the brown sugar maple latte and then the strawberry matcha, both yummy. The strawberry matcha cold foam tasted like real strawberries--probably the best strawberry matcha I've had in my life. I also had the turkey pesto croissant which was decadent
google avatar

Corona S.

Yelp
Love trying new coffee shops and this was a great find! When we first walked in, I was shocked at how big it was! You really can't tell from the outside. They even have an outdoor patio so you can come here with a large group. I got a seasonal drink: brown sugar maple latte. It was delicious! I don't normally care for maple flavored things, but it wasn't too overwhelming here, and perfectly balanced with the latte. Service was super friendly and drinks came out fairly quick even though they were busy! A lot of people were working/studying, and I really like the rustic, cozy, ambiance. A solid spot to visit if you're near downtown Santa Ana!

Yelp
Came here again to give it another try and I can genuinely say that I don't think ill be returning, same blonde girl was at the register was extremely rude even her response after giving her my name was negative. Anyways came here to study and grab some coffee beans but they didnt end up having any at the moment so maybe it was a sign. I did read reviews wondering if anybody else had any negative experiences and some stating they cater to a certain demographic and I felt that vibe . I highly recommend going somewhere else if you want to be treated with good customer service

Yelp
Decided to try this place out with my sis yesterday, was glad it was in my city no less, sadly immediately upon arrival things went downhill. Look... I get it and understand when someone is having a bad day, we all deal with it. Sadly the cashier was just not having it, giving us attitude when we asked for two cold brew coffees and I guess didn't know if cold foam was included. She was just rude and visibly upset. Well that wasn't the worst of it, we brushed it off, ordered a breakfast burrito to share and went to find a seat outside. When the burrito arrived the server was nice enough, but I had to go back inside to grab napkins for us. When my sis grabbed her half she started taking a closer look, and as luck would have it there was a LOONG piece of someone's hair grilled right into the tortilla. So? Instead of dealing with anymore rude staff, and some awkward back and forth we just decided to toss it, and made our way out the back. Wouldn't go back and I'll be glad to try another establishment, maybe some of the local Hispanic owned ones. Maybe they had an off day? Doesn't matter I just wouldn't recommend this place.

Micaela P.

Yelp
Coffee was okay ! We ordered a ham & cheese pesto sandwich and it took over 20 mins. They were first rude when my boyfriend asked if we picked up the sandwich or waiting for them to bring it. They just were rude about it, and the lady realized that they forgot our order. Mind you everyone behind us in line already received their food. They even offered a pastry which we decided to get & I am grateful for it. But the overall experience is how perception can be based on tone and facial expressions. Accidents happen and things happen. But customer service on how we approach and respond is the best way to make things better

Yelp
I happily discovered Hidden House when I was looking for a cafe to study at in the area. I have since recommended this place to family and friends. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and pistachio syrup. They offer several other house made syrups for all of their drinks. I also ordered a croissant with eggs and cheese. They also have burritos on the menu, although it was not available today. I like that Hidden House Coffee offers real food like burritos and croissant sandwiches on top of the usual pastries you find at a cafe. In terms of seating, I LOVE the outdoor patio in the back. It is so charming and a wonderful place to study. There's tons of natural light and seating available for small or large groups. Inside, there isn't as much seating available to accommodate large groups, it is mostly just seating at the counter and a handful of tables. My only piece of advice is to come with your devices charged, otherwise you're stuck sitting at the counter or hoping one of the two tables that have outlets open up. WiFi is solid! Even though it was a Sunday, I didn't think it was too crowded. There is a church next door that shares the parking lot with Hidden House Coffee, so you may encounter a full lot if you go on a Sunday like me. Overall service was fine. The person who took my order was extremely friendly, but I didn't catch a name.

Yelp
Found this spot 3 years ago and it has since become my go-to place to get work done, has a very rustic, perfect-for-fall vibe. I think the vibes rlly make for a good work enviornment although the music is loud and it is often packed with lots of people so you have to come early to get a table. And I usually use my noise cancelling headphones. Outlets are available outside and at the barista bar counter seating. The seats are wooden so not the most comfortable to sit in but it works. The drinks are rlly good too. My go to is the maple latte but I will sometimes dabble in their seasonal matchas. Lowkey though their matcha aren't good. They also make their own syrups which I can appreciate greatly, none of that Torani bs. Good food too, you can watch them baking in the back. Rlly good breakfast burritos and bagel bombs!! Most everyone is nice enough here but theres a few baristas that have meh energy CONSISTENTLY, they just seem like they hate their job, but i guess they can still cook up a good latte so wtv I can look past that LOL. Just don't expect yourself to be able to ask questions about the menu and be prepared to be looked at like an idiot no matter what you order. And thus, 4/5 stars for impressing me with housemade syrups, good food, and a reliable spot to be productive. Minus star for the moody baristas.
google avatar

Quinn Q.

Yelp
Came in for a cold drink and left with a cold feeling in my stomach. Staff was polite, though maybe a bit too friendly... especially to some uniformed regulars who made the whole place feel a little colder than the iced coffee I didn't finish. This coffee shop is in the heart of Santa Ana. They're dog friendly and have a few breakfast items if interested. Industrial vibe inside but can get noisy due to roasting beans.
google avatar

Yelp
Tucked away in a little neighborhood, you'll find this quaint little coffee shop. It looks small from the outside but it's actually pretty spacious inside with an outside patio area in the back. I like to come here for a little pick me up during my lunch break and the drinks always come out so fast and delicious
google avatar

Adriana M.

Yelp
Went in on a Friday morning 10am Long line going out the door but the line moved very quickly Once it was our turn we were greeted and attended with great customer service! The drinks were out pretty fast probably 7min. The two drinks we got were -Matcha Latte with Oatmilk (iced) I would give it 2/5 was not that great. No flavor at all. -Pistachio Latte (iced) 3/5 The cold foam on this drink was amazing but coffee was so light. They have a great amount of seating inside and outside so a really great spot to come hang out!

Yelp
Such a nice and quaint spot. It's a lot more spacious than it looks! I really recommend the brown sugar maple latte-served hot.

Yelp
the cutest and most unexpected coffee house in santa ana!! they have a variety of coffees and pastries to choose from. the city of santa ana gets a bad rap and it's places like these that truly shift the narrative around the city. clearly a lot of thought was put into the concept of this place. with indoor seating and a large outdoor seating area in the back of the shop, this place is great for studying/doing work, but if you need to grab a quick coffee and go, service is also very fest. i love their strawberry matcha, it's not too sweet and has a great consistency. i have also tried their pumpkin spice latte which was also delicious!
google avatar

Karen M.

Yelp
I actually went on a first date here. The atmosphere was really chill and casual. Lots of people working and studying. Other tables having family reunions. Loved the environment. I got the banana cream matcha with 2% milk. Loved loooooved my drink. So delicious. Perfect aroma. Not too sweet or too bitter. I paid $8 which I did find to be really steep. This location is more of a "special treat". Every once in awhile is okay. The parking structure next door is a pain to get too currently because of the construction. I like to park by the church just to save myself from my car getting towed. They have certain spots for the parking structure next door but they're usually filled both times. Cashier was quick too. They were efficient and fast with making their drinks. Will be back!!

Yelp
This is the coffee shop I take friends to if I want to talk to them for hours and just get lost in their stories! It is indeed hidden and from the outside, looks kinda ordinary and average. However through the plywood entry, you step into a coffee world that is quite magical. Open concept coffee bar with a delightful and creative menu and a pastry case full of massive morsels of delight. If you are not impressed going through that door, I suggest you go out the back door to the hidden patio. This is where I like to sit on warm days to catch up on all things about life with good friends. We usually share a pastry or two also. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in OC. It's a bit hidden and a bit of a secret, but so well worth the visit. Oh, the coffee is amazing. They use your cup too if you bring it in. On 2/2025, they had a seasonal menu that featured an orange cream cold brew. I've never heard of such a thing so had to give it a try. It was wonderful! There was even real orange zest in the cream. It proves to me again why I keep coming back to this hidden gem. I only come on weekdays and parking is good. Service is great. Please come and create your own experience.

Yelp
We like to stop here for a quick coffee! We went earlier in the morning and it was packed, but they were quickly given how busy it was. They also accidentally gave us an iced coffee instead of a hot one and even after we insisted it was fine, they made us a new one anyways. It's always appreciated when businesses are happy to rectify any issues quickly! I got the bagel bomb and per usual it was delicious!

Yelp
The coffee is pretty solid and the ambience inside with the aesthetic, lighting, and music is really nice. The reason I took off 2 stars is the service. The barista who took my order was just rude and seemed unhappy to be there, which isn't a huge deal but not something I necessarily want to deal with when I want to get a cup of coffee. I came to the Yelp page to see if anyone else had had a similar experience and sure enough plenty of reviews describe the same blonde woman who is rude to customers for no reason. I don't typically leave reviews but I haven't had service like this anywhere else before.

Yelp
Weekday morning coffee spot is a cozy gem. The banana bread and bagel bites were a huge hit. Ordered the banana bread toasted and ate it before I got a chance to sit down. Need to come on a day the coffee roaster is going for the aroma. Outdoor seating is decorated nicely.

Yelp
Came here on a Memorial Day holiday. I wish there was a visible sign that there are some lot spaces designated for cafe patrons before I circled around the neighborhood looking for parking. Would've made the visit less stressful. There was a long line out the door, and when we finally reached the barista to order, there were quite a few items sold out. I genuinely cannot remember what drink I ordered - not because it was bad, but it just wasn't my favorite/memorable. The interior of the coffee shop is what made me do a double-take: High ceilings, industrial design, chic merch - there's even an outdoor patio! While I doubt I'll be inclined to venture back to this establishment, I wouldn't be opposed to returning as long as there isn't a long wait again.

Yelp
What a great coffee shop in the Santa Ana area. Plenty of seating indoor and out. They make their own syrups and we both enjoyed our seasonal specialty lattes - my husband ordered a brown sugar maple latte and I tried the pistachio latte. Yummy!

Yelp
HHC is a spacious coffee shop in Santa Ana. They roast their own beans and you can see them make the pastries through the window. I love their seasonal drinks and was going to get the strawberry matcha from a long time ago but I forgot it was seasonal :( I hope they put this on the menu permanently Instead we opted for the hot pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin cold brew for fall. The PSL had such a deep spiced flavor which we enjoyed. The cold brew was a bit of a miss and wasn't too flavorful and not that sweet (obviously preference) The blueberry muffin ($6) was the best muffin I had though. Super fluffy and the crunchy outer layer with crumbs. There's tons of seating, WiFi, and outlets. Baristas are always friendly as well!

Yelp
Very good iced coffee, I tried multiple different iced lattes and they were all delicious. My matcha was wonderful. So many different coffee places make it way too sweet and this was just the right level. The baristas were helpful and kind and brought our coffee to us outside.

Yelp
Not a fan of the location. They want to be a public square but this is not it. Stopped by before work - latte was watery and the chocolate flavor undetectable. Honestly confused by all the decent reviews. Would not come back here. There are a bunch of better coffee placed around.

Yelp
Love Hidden house! I've never heard anyone say they don't like this coffee shop. This is my favorite place to get beans for my espresso machine at home as well. the aesthetic is too cute too!

Yelp
Hidden House Coffee is a super cute spot. If you want to meet up with friends, there's plenty of group seating to enjoy. If you need to get work done and you are someone that enjoys white noise and cant study in silence, this is the place for you! I was very surprised at how spacious it is! The service is awesome. The girl who took my order was super sweet and I got my drink quickly. Additionally, I love that the counter is in the middle of the shop. It's a super unique layout. I think my least favorite part of my experience was my drink itself. I got the strawberry matcha and while the strawberry foam was yummy, I could barely taste the matcha. It was also $8 with oatmilk! Too much! I love the service and ambiance of Hidden House Coffee, so I would definitely recommend it as a spot to spend a Saturday or Sunday at. But the drinks don't really stand out to me.

Yelp
Wow it was such a dream come true coming here!! I've followed Hidden House Coffee on Instagram for a long time and have seen so many of their reels lol. They did NOT disappoint!!! The space is so cool, lots of wood. Lauren was the awesome barista helping us today, and she was absolutely lovely! I got an iced cappuccino and it was delicious!! The espresso is so yummy. I am a big fan of medium to dark roasts, and this coffee did not have any light roast flavor (thank God!!) I also got a parfait with their housemade granola, berries, and nonfat yogurt, and it was yummy!!!!! I loved the mural on the wall as well, so gorgeous. I also love in the women's bathroom it says "hi, you look good!" Such a cute touch. Anyway, I'm super impressed and would go back 100% if I'm in the area. I parked in the residential area and that was doable. Good luck trying to find parking right in front of the shop LOL.

Yelp
10/10 love this place love the vibes. Coffees good and the baristas are all so sweet :) I usually get a basic but good vanilla latte but was a little adventurous today and got the cold brew with pistachio cream which was still very very good. Ok seating/work wise there's a few tables inside which have almost always been taken when I get there and otherwise there's a good amount of bar seating. There's also outside tables in the back of the weathers nice. Side note, parking is horrendous the streets are so weird but there's a parking lot next to the coffee with specified spots for HHC that are free :)

Yelp
I love the San Juan location as it's litterally a small little hidden house. This location is in an old brick garage type location which I love as well however the big issue here is that I ride my motorcycles to work which is in the area and when I try to stop here I need to park my motorcycle. Santa Ana is not a city where you can comfortably leave a 20k motorcycle like the ones I ride. Anyways everytime I try to grab a coffee the parking out front is either completely taken or tapped off for construction for weeks on end. This has happened the past 5 times I've tried to grab a coffee here. This would be fine at other locations as I could just park around the corner but here that's a bit unsafe. So unfortunately I have to give this location a 3 solely for really horrid safe parking options for 2 wheels motorists.

Yelp
We had a team meeting with a large group in the morning at this place during the week. I haven't been here before so I was excited to try it out. Inside the coffee shop, they have a huge room with a coffee roaster and grinder on one side and a kitchen area where you can see the staff making those fluffy pastries, which smells so good. In the middle of the room is where the baristas do their magic with colorful and delightful drinks. This place has a cool vibe where everybody wants to hang out. The staff were very sweet and helpful. They took their time knowing what kind of flavors I like and waited patiently until I made the decision on the drink. I usually choose the basics especially on my first visit but by the staff's recommendation, I tried their seasonal drink, strawberry matcha with their strawberry cold foam. It sure was a homerun! I should've ordered one of their famous bagel bombs, which I regret now that I didn't. Whether you're here to work or chill, this place will accommodate it all. Can't wait to visit them again and try their pastries and other unique drinks. Strongly recommend to anyone.
