Music is a bit loud. 3 TV showing sports. It's never crowded or busy when I go. Indoor seating only. There's a pool table next door. Had their pizza before at a different location and it was good

I was walking around Redwood City last Sunday trying to get steps in. It was about time to watch the Kansas City game, so I started looking for a place that had good TVs, good snacks, and good drinks. I came upon Hidden Tap and Barrel. The place seems to be brand new. It’s spotless with really great TVs. I sat at the bar. The bartender was super cool; she was very friendly and made great menu suggestions. There were about half a dozen people in there. I had some Chicken. I think it was Lemon Pepper Chicken, and even though they have some excellent beers there, I just had light beers with a couple of Jamesons. Most of the people in there were ordering cocktails. The atmosphere is fantastic. There’s a beautiful mural on one of the walls. I’ll be back.

This post is overdue but felt it was necessary! After a day of celebrating a birthday with some friends, we all decided we wanted to go someplace close to our house to watch some sports and get some food/drinks. We stumbled across Hidden Tap & Barrel and ended up having an amazing time. We were one of the only people there, and our bartender/server, Monica went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. My girlfriend doesn't drink, so Monica took it upon herself to experiment with mocktail recipes, all which were delicious. Her energy and vibe kept our party going and we just loved her. We ordered a couple of pizzas from the connected Curry Pizza House, which was delicious. The bar itself is extremely clean and modern, with lots of TVs. We will definitely be back and hopefully have Monica as our bartender again!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly. The ambiance was cozy and inviting at night with great music. The food was great with a lot of flavor. My favorite cocktail of the three I tried has got to be the Mango Chutney Martini. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their cocktails. Highly recommended!

Great bar in Redwood City. This place is a little more chill than Nighthawk and Blacksmith which is nice. They're open super late and have a good selection of drinks. With Curry Pizza House connected to the bar, they also have great food options!

This is long overdue, but this place is a gem. Close to caltrain, great food, great drink selection and very accommodating staff. We did a private event and it's perfect as folks can go inside, outside, have the poor table, and you have so many food and drink options. Owner is easy to work with, as well. Which is always a plus.

Spectacular all around - good vibes, great food, and great service. The beers on tap were local favs and the Tandoori Pizza was made so hot and fresh with care and attn to detail in one bite became a fav pizza spot in the bay... nothing but good things here ! Came back to hidden tap and barrel for a second time and was lucky enough to have Jose, serve me again. He started off with a big warm smile, greeted me and said it was great to see me again. Asked him what beers he had on top and he suggested a beer I've never tried before and it was awesome! However, I remember how great the Margarita was last time I was here, so he said he would hit me up with that again. And once again, Jose absolutely did not disappoint. The passion fruit margarita was off the hook He then suggested the warm bacon pizza which I got and have to tell you. It was amazing. But good food in the Bay area is easy to find. It is nothing without exceptional service and Jose knocks it out of the park every time. Next time you're in Redwood City, make it a directed effort to come to the hidden tap and barrel and ask for Jose. Let him know Ken sent you

Love, love, LOVE this place!! Last time I was here, they had football games on their tvs and the whole bar was a vibe! Totally planning on going and watching the Niners game on Sunday! The bartenders Priya and Jose were both working and I couldn't tell you who's better. They both mix the most amazing drinks! The atmosphere is lively but friendly...just the perfect mix for a good time that keeps you wanting to come back. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Also, OBSESSED with their Chutney Martinis!! And their wings + pizza!

Came here for dinner. To drink, I had the hazy IPA. The food was serviced by "Curry pizza House". To eat, I had the mango habanero wings and they were spicy and tasty flavor, but very meh; the wings themselves were soggy and I don't like soggy wings, even when the sauce is wet. So the way the wings were cooked made it hard to enjoy them, they were small too. I got the 10 piece and it definitely came with more than 10 pieces so I liked that. My partner got the meat lover's pizza and that was delicious. Overall solid spot. Dim lighting, music is loud, but it's a fun spot with great drinks. Next time I'll get the pizza

We came to see the Miami soccer game and met with some friends for drinks here as it's close to the Caltrain station. It's got a solid selection of beer and cocktails. The vibe inside is really modern and clean. The game ended up being epic and went to penalty's. Gave us more of an opportunity to try some of their craft beers. Big tequila collection and the servers were super customer friendly. We will definitely be back!

This review is long overdue. This is EASILY the place with the best vibe on a Tuesday night, I love me some EDM plus I loved the glow light ambiance! Megan the bartender was just fantastic, she knows how to set the atmosphere and is a fun (and relatable) conversationalist and knew her drink selections! Will be back one day soon!

First time at a new upscale bar in Redwood City. This is a much needed spot in a downtown that doesn't have too many choices of whiskeys and cocktails. Definitely recommend trying their craft beers and old fashion. Will be back next time I'm in town! The bartender Priya was awesome!

My husband and I chose Hidden Tap and Barrell/Curry Pizza House for Thursday date night and were pleasantly surprised. We came for the impressive cocktail menu and great selection of beers on tap. Loved the relaxed vibe, welcoming and attentive service, and nice ambiance lighting. Enjoyed pints at the pool table and put a hot wings sampler from the adjoining Curry Pizza House on our tab. We tried four of the six flavors of wings, all yummy, with varying degrees of heat. We'll try the other wings flavors and some cocktails next time at this lovely bar and eatery.

What a cool place to hang out at! Love the bar selection, pizzas and ambiance. The atmosphere is super chill with cool lighting and a trendy yet laid-back feel. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful ambiance in this bar. Good vibes, great service, and an amazing, well-curated drinks menu. The bartenders were super kind, and the owner was very friendly himself (not to mention handsome) :)

Loud, bad music, lame decor. This place needs work to make it seem like something other than a valet closet that serves drinks and plays annoying music.

We had our engagement party at Hidden Tap and it was absolutely perfect!!! All of our guests LOVED the pizzas and drinks!! We were beyond satisfied with the staff who helped us carry out this event. They were super helpful with coordinating with us. We were able to setup the room to our desire, and we had the best time here:)
