Best Restaurants in Sedona, Arizona | Eater Vegas

"Dine on one of Hideaway Houses’ three open-air patios, each nestled among the trees with views of Sedona’s red rocks. This cozy treehouse-style restaurant serves fresh takes on pizza, with special attention merited for the roasted peach and pancetta pizza with seasoned ricotta and the date night salad pizza with prosciutto, fresh lemon, and arugula." - Jamie Phillis

After a long hike, my family and I were craving some good food, and a nice place to relax. Hideaway house provided that! Located on the side of the mountain, it boasted a beautiful view of the red rocks in Sedona. We loved the rustic vibe that the restaurant carried. As far as the food goes, it was just good. Not great, but good. We ordered the French Onion Soup as an appetizer, and I thought the petal-cut of the onions was an interesting choice. The peach pizza had great flavor, but it was a little too sweet. The fettuccini was presented well, but lacked flavor. Our server was extremely nice and did a great job making sure our needs were met as customers. The food was serviceable at best, but this restaurant is carried by its gorgeous atmosphere and views. Definitely a Sedona staple!

Our group of nine had a truly delightful evening at Hideaway House, thanks to the stunning red rock views and the accommodating service. The staff was friendly and made it easy to organize a large party. There is a fun gift shop as you enter to shop if there is a wait. We chose to sit on the patio to enjoy the scenery, and as the evening air turned chilly, we saw the staff thoughtfully provide blankets to some customers. It's a testament to their attention to detail. The menu was great, offering a variety of choices that pleased our entire group. The pizza crust was fantastic. Every member of our party, regardless of dietary preference, found something to enjoy, and the mocktail selection was a nice surprise. This quaint local eatery offers so much more than a meal; it provides a memorable dining experience with stellar views.

Google
So many good reviews but the food is not it. We got the hummus platter. Not a lot of hummus in the bowl. The wings were good. We got 2 burgers cooked medium, one of them was burnt. We exchanged it for a chicken sandwich and that tasted better. I got the steak on a stick and it did not taste like steak. Tasted like lamb or bison idk. The chicken Parmesan and Alfredo didn’t hit either. Also they can only do 1 check and if you pay with card it’s a fee, also gratuity over 5 people on the group.

Absolutely HORRIBLE and GROSS experience here! We were so disgusted after this meal it killed our appetite for the whole day. Everything was a miss. The grossest this was that there were feathers on the chicken wings!!!!!! See pictures... absolutely unacceptable. We've been eating chicken wings for 25+ years and never seen anything like this. There was also a long black hair on our French fries. Where is the quality control at this place?!? I'm floored it could be this lacking! My 4 year old said his cheese pizza was slimy and wouldn't eat it. The Italian beef was okay and we had eaten it before we noticed the feathers and hair but the bun on it was on was disappointing and got soggy. Why weren't we served it on a hoagie like the other pictures?! The meal started off bad with a rude hostess who sat us in the corner not on their main patio with no working heaters which was disappointing dining with a baby and child who were cold. This was actually the worst meal we have ever had which is such a disappointment after coming here over 5 times every time we made a trip to Sedona. We used to tell friends to come here but we are sick to our stomach after this meal and it ruined our appetite for our whole trip. We will not be back under any circumstances and will never send anyone we know here

We visited for Happy Hour and loved it! The food was delicious, with large portions perfect for sharing. Stunning views and excellent service—big shout-out to bartender Seth! The desserts were good, too. Parking can be tricky during peak times, as the free lot is small and limited, so expect to search for a spot or walk a bit. 👎They charge 2% for credit card transactions.

Go for the views and excellent service. The food was good, but not amazing. People were there with dogs, which I'm fine with, until the dogs nearly have their nose in my food. Gross. Nice, casual place with a cute store attached. Get a drink and an appetizer and keep it away from the edges of the table.

Google
We settled on Hideaway House after looking at it along with a few other restaurants in the area online. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is tucked in the corner of a parking area with several other businesses. There is a cool and funky vibe about the place. If you get a chance definitely sit outside. The view is tremendous. The food was really good we thought. Alex, our waiter, was super friendly and attentive without going overboard. We even got blankets as we ate dinner because it gets a bit chilly in Sedona in November. If you have the chance to eat here, we definitely recommend it!!

Google
I have been here many times and always have an exceptional experience. My husband and I just had our rehearsal dinner here on Halloween for our wedding. The communication to set up dinner was amazing and they were so accommodating. Kat, our server, gave us stellar service! Everyone was taken care of- she gave the kids some entertainment and activities, ensured no ones drink ever went empty and made us feel very special on our wedding weekend. They even went above and beyond and decorated the tables for us to make it absolutely beautiful. Food is great - unique pizzas, delicious pastas and the flourless chocolate cake is my favorite dessert!! We will definitely continue to come back. Thank you hideaway house for making our wedding weekend so special ♥️

Yelp
Amazing food! Love that they allow dogs. Both my family and my dogs were taken care of.

Yelp
Very "ordinary" food . Portions were big and location over the creek was nice but would not be a go to place if I lived here

Yelp
Delicious and awesome wait staff! We had the watermelon feta salad which was very refreshing after a walk in the heat. The margaritas were amazing, especially the Prickly Pear. We had two toddlers and the staff paid extra attention to them and seemed to enjoy it! The appetizer breads were delicious and were consumed by both toddlers! Top of the list is the Brick chicken! It practically melts in your mouth! Relax, eat well and enjoy the view!

Yelp
I wanted to really love this place but I merely just like it. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, so there's definitely an upside to that. there's upstairs and downstairs inside seating there's an upstairs and downstairs patio. It's super cute. I had a Tyler something or other drink. It had Crown vanilla, raspberry, and 7-Up in it, and it was sparkly and it was probably the best drink I've ever had in my life. I got the homemade bread and I would highly suggest that it's so delicious. I just wanted to come here and get bread and more bread and more bread. I wanted to get the pear and ricotta crostini and the strawberry honey crustini. But decided I could not just have a dinner of only bread. And I wish I had. I got a 10 inch make your own pizza with pepperoni and ricotta on it and the pizza is edible. It's not bad but it's not amazing. It's not something that I would say. I have to go get that. I better go back to that restaurant. I asked my server Troy, who was fantastic what his favorite dessert was and he said the lemon berry mascarpone cake and I wish I had listened to him because he told me that the peach and pecan cobbler was a item amongst guests and that's what I was leaning towards so I got that and I really didn't care for it. It just wasn't my thing. It came out super hot. It has to be in the oven for about 10 minutes and I didn't really taste a lot of peaches in it. Parking is a nightmare . It's a bigger restaurant with not enough parking. It's awful!! And they also share the parking lot with other businesses. It's really inconvenient so my suggestion is if you're going to go to this restaurant even if you have your car here and you're staying in Sedona, you may want to think about Uber in there if it's a place that you really want to go to because it's gonna save you a lot of hassle when it comes to the parking there.

Yelp
Walking distance from Tlaquepaque. Saw great reviews and decided to walk on over. While it was busy we opted for first available seats (little warm for outdoors) We waited about 15-20 minutes. Lobby has cold water available and a window to order an adult beverage while you wait. Perfect! Note: does not accept reservations unless you have a party of 5 or larger. We got to sit at the bar and greet right away by the busy bartender. She was attentive and brought us drinks and menus right away. I love the menu not too many options but several of my favorites. Appetizer: Meatballs! 4 large meatballs in sauce smothered with cheese. Meatballs were very tender and juicy. Their sauce is delicious just a little sweet, fresh tomato and herbs, with a slightly chunky silky texture. I would order this every time. Served with two pieces of bread. Mr B decided on a Caesar salad with chicken. Large portion. He ate the entire salad and also indulged in a couple meatballs. I went for the Margherita pizza. It was so yummy. At first glance I didn't think I was going to like the crust but I did. Thin and not too crispy. I love a Neapolitan dough but you get what you get - the sauce was delicious and maybe a hint of balsamic in the sauce?? Great amount of toppings to cheese ratio. I would definitely order this again. Took home half the pizza - very filling. I can see why this place has great reviews. The food did not disappoint. All the staff was very friendly and attentive

Yelp
If it's views you're looking for, look no further! Absolutely gorgeous. Definitely sit on the balcony and enjoy a nice pizza or Italian sandwich. Friendly staff, great martinis...but it's all about the views. Enjoy! My new favorite Sedona spot.
google avatar

Yelp
The service was great, menu offered lots of options, great location with inside or patio options. Only issue, my burger arrived raw in the center, despite ordering it medium. They quickly made a new one but that was disappointing. They're along the main road, very clean & friendly and it's a great place to have lunch, dinner or happy hour.

Yelp
The views! The vibes! I love this spot! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner one night. He's a picky eater, and I wanted a place where we could get a good view of the rocks and both find something we could eat. This place was perfect! The staff were very nice and the service was great! They waited to bring out our main course until we were done with our salads, which earns them huge bonus points. We had Ceasar salads to start. I had the roasted chicken. He had the pepperoni pizza. The salads were good. The roasted chicken was so good! It had a crispy skin and was moist and delish inside. The veggies were cooked PERFECTLY. The zucchini still had life, as opposed to most places that serve it to you squishy. The pizza was just ok. I don't think this place is known for pizza, so I won't fault them for that. It will make a kid or a picky eater happy. The one thing to note: the parking lot is very small and hard to navigate. People were road raging too, which made it stressful. There is public parking down the road a bit, so look up where that is located before you go as a backup plan.

Yelp
Took my fiancé and our dog here on a road trip. LOVED THE SERVICE! Dogs have their own menu Are the steak skewers, salad and bread added a bottle of wine. Could have had the wine and bread and been so very happy. Dog had the chicken breast. She loved it. A storm was brewing which added to the ambiance. Lovely!

Yelp
Service was 5/5. Eric was super knowledgeable and very professional and friendly with a touch of humor to top it off. Food was 3.5-4/5. The crust was nice and crispy, the ingredients were plentiful, but the flavors didn't quite match up. I think just a regular póliza would've been amazing. Will get that next time. Ambiance was 5/5. Lovely multi patios that are dog friendly with great views. Would definitely make a stop here again.

Yelp
I came here with some friends for a lunch. We got a table inside but facing the outside so we were able to get a nice view of Sedona from our seats. What we got: - Peach Pizza: one of the more unique items I've seen but also one of the things I'd come back here for. The sweet fresh peach flavors paired well with the cheese. We got a half peach pizza with the green goddess, which was also equally delicious It feeds a good 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are. - Garlic Bread: We ordered this in addition to the pizza but nothing special. It's just regular garlic bread with a marinara dipping sauce. - Peach Cobbler: my friend and I were eyeing the peach cobbler and we decided to get it. The peaches were really fresh and my friends and I really liked it. It's a really nice place with good views and fresh food. Parking is hard to find since there's a ton of shops and eateries. Service here was great.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was exceptional especially for my dog!! He loved his little lunch and the next few nights he kept expecting a burger!

Yelp
We tried two of Hideaway House's most popular dishes: the Kat's Way pizza and the Brick Chicken. The pizza could have used an extra couple of minutes in the oven, but the half sweet-and-half-savory toppings complemented each other nicely. The chicken was delicious and the sauteed veggie side, normally an afterthought on most plates, was a standout. So fresh and well-cooked! Our waiter was quick to take our order, but then disappeared the rest of the meal. Someone else dropped our plates and we had to flag a staff member down to request our check. Despite these service hiccups, dinner on the deck was a pleasant surprise -- the plentiful shade and ceiling fans kept us comfortable on a July evening and the views were stunning.

Yelp
Was recommended to come here while in Sedona. Food was fine and portions are large, but if you can't find parking in their tiny, winding lot, then I dont think it's worth it to squeeze yourself in elsewhere just to eat here. Beautiful layout but food wasn't mind blowing. Frozen slushie - flavor of the day was something like prickly pear lemonade. Just tasted like lemonade slushie when it came. Can't ask too much of a slushie, even though it was pretty expensive for a cup. Brick chicken - Saw this mentioned a couple times so decided to order. Comes with two large pieces of chicken, veggies, baked potato wedges, and crisped up onions. It was so much food it intimidated me, but at least I can never say it wasn't worth it. Everything was 3.5/5, not much to complain about but unfortunately nothing new to me Wine Lover's board - comes with nice spread, could be an appetizer or a meal if you come feeling snacky. Salami is the real deal, tastes fresher than your typical airtight salami from the grocery store. I liked the spread of both fresh and dried fruit here also. Good for group grazing

Yelp
We were loving the reviews of the restaurant. That helped us to make the decision to try it out. Positives: Clearly the ambiance and natural environment that accompanies the restaurant gets 5 stars alone! We even caught a lightning storm as we left and it made it totally worth it! With the food, the cheese pizza was super tasty and the appetizers were good too. The waitress herself was also very kind and attentive. Now, the things that majorly missed the mark: when we arrived it was clearly very hot. The lobby/entry was seemingly not air conditioned and the hostesses were fanning themselves. They were not pleasant and never smiled. Maybe they were too warm to offer that nicety. Because of the weather it was hard to imagine a great experience outside so we asked to sit inside. We saw a water carafe with cups and took a few to cool down but quickly noticed black things floating within the water. Super gross as it looked like mold spurs. Interestingly enough I saw another review the same day we went mention the same thing! My husband dumped the cups of water out in the restroom next to the lobby. They eventually took us downstairs to a bizarrely cornered section of the restaurant basement seating area. Yes, we did want inside but this felt weird and secluded. Obviously don't ask to sit inside. The Alfredo was not great. We didn't get chicken in it so they did reduce the $26 entree by $5 without us asking which was nice, but it tasted off. Sedona pricing there. All in all they have some great perks and clearly a beautiful scenery, but initial impressions, hostess service, speckled water, and food was hit or miss.

Yelp
This was on the top of my list to try when we were in Sedona. No disappointment here. We sat on the outdoor patio with amazing views. I cannot say enough about the amazing time we had. Meal, ambiance and service were all great. This is a definite repeat for us.
google avatar

Mayra N.

Yelp
The view was incredible, the pizza was freshly made with a variety of toppings to choose from. They also offered a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. The prickly pear margarita was delightful, and the filtered water tasted great. The service was excellent.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
So glad we stopped here for lunch. We checked yelp for a lunch place and based on the reviews, we are glad we ate here. Very quaint looking on the outside, less than a 5 minute wait, we were greeted nicely and taken downstairs to be seated. I didn't realize this was much larger than it looks from the street. Eric was our waiter. He made great recommendations. He was very polite and service was great. On his recommendation, we ordered the Filet mignon kabob salad and the Peach Carmelized pizza. Wow, both were fabulous. One of the pieces of the filet was very tough, Eric brought the manager over and she offered another Kabob. I thought that was very nice and even added to our dining experience. This is a not to miss place, the views are incredible , food fantastic and the service was grea
google avatar

Doreen G.

Yelp
The view is absolutely beautiful. Eric was our server and he is kind and efficient. Explains the menu very well. However, I have a few problems with this restaurant. Firstly, we went to grab some waters at the water station near the host stand. When we were going to take our first sip, moss/mold??? Was floating everywhere in our water cups. This indicates that the water station has not been cleaned/used in a while. It really grossed us out. We ordered the margarita pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. Both very average. Meatballs especially had a weird taste in the middle---needs to be seasoned better or smaller
google avatar

Gisele V.

Yelp
We ate here two days in a row because the food & views were so great. First night we started with the gnocchi soup, as well as their homemade bread, both were delicious. I had the brick chicken which was cooked to perfection and my daughter had the pesto chicken with pasta which was excellent. Tonight we had the house salad, onion soup and the pizza Classico. It was THE BEST PIZZA ever, like seriously, ever. Their seasonal sangria was peach and it was beyond delicious. I love this restaurant so much and I can't recommend it enough.
google avatar

Rachel A.

Yelp
Good food and views. We got there at 11 when it opened but had to wait 15 for a table, despite it being pretty empty but they was fine. The warm bread starter was the first thing I saw so I ordered it to appease my hungry kids. It had some balsamic on it', which my kids were nervous to try but ended up loving. The food was all fairly good and the views can't be beat.
google avatar

Yelp
Coming from out of state, we were just cruising around Sedona to find a nice place to have dinner with a nice view. Our wait was around 15 minutes on a Friday evening to be seated. We sat outside with this nice view. Food was served hot. The caramelized onion soup was amazing! It comes with a grilled cheese on the side as pictured. The drinks were refreshing. I'd recommend the lemonades. The brick chicken was juicy and served hot with a side of vegetables, which was perfect. The house salad dressing was light and pleasant. Parking was very difficult to find. We were lucky enough to find a spot because someone had just left the restaurant. Overall, a nice place to visit if you're in Sedona!
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
Wonderful experience for lunch, amazing food. Building's cozy, the view on the patio was beautiful. Staff was great. Our server Phillip was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Anytime we're back visiting Sedona we'll be stopping here for that roasted peach pizza.
google avatar

Lynn T.

Yelp
After a long hike we stopped by this charming restaurant for lunch. The waiting area had iced water which I appreciated, and depending on where you are seated in the restaurant there's a nice view. The dough on the garlic flatbread and pizza were very fresh, nice crisp on the edges and soft middle. I enjoyed the peach & panchetta side of the Kat's way pizza more and would get a whole one of that next time. The meat lasagna was pretty good, it felt like something was missing... maybe garlic. My friend who got another pasta dish felt the same. The portions were hefty though we had leftovers. Their lavender lemonade was one of the best flavored lemonades I've ever had. It's a must try! The staff were attentitive and welcoming, this is a cute spot to dine at !

Yelp
It was one of my last meals in Sedona, and I'm glad it was spent at the Hideaway House. After hiking 7 miles in the Arizona sun, I needed fuel, and was hoping they put as much attention to detail in their food as they do their decor. Spoiler alert - they do! Looking back, one of my favorite memories from Sedona was sipping my drink here while watching the sun set on the deck. And thankfully, they knew what I came to do. This plate was everything I needed on that day - full of variety, flavor, and pure satisfaction. The waitress was very friendly and down-to-earth, and patient while we made our selections. I would be back in a heartbeat if I didn't live across the country, but I don't think I could miss another chance to go if I tried.

Yelp
We came for late lunch on a weekday and the wait was about 20 minutes. The Yelp reservations did not work so you just check in to receive a text when your table is ready. I expected this restaurant to be the most dog friendliest after seeing their main photo with a dog on the table. However, the hostess told us we couldn't leave our dog on the chair. Their dog menu also states that dogs have to be on the floor and emphasizes their strict rules on dogs. This was a surprise-- we went to 5 other dog friendly restaurants in Sedona which were all super accepting and accommodating of our small dog (he likes to sleep on our lap or chair next to us while we eat). We got their famous caramelized onion soup and antipasto. The onion soup was very salty but the flavor was pretty good. The antipasto was huge and loved the dressing on it. The side pizza bread was a bit dry and cold. At the end of our meal I got rained on because their "covered" patio did not cover enough. The views were very pretty though!
google avatar

Sachiko M.

Yelp
We shared the peach pizza and the mussels with spaghetti. The food and service was very good and if you come during the day, you can enjoy the view.
google avatar

Karlee H.

Yelp
Made reservation for a group of 12 months in advance and they were easy to work with and accommodated our requests great once we got there. They tucked our group in the far side of the patio to give us more privacy, which was nice. I enjoyed the pear & honey crostini and it was light and fresh and very very good. For my main course, I enjoyed the shrimp gnocchi and it was just as delightful. It was a multicolor gnocchi which is unique and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The sauce had a ton of flavor and very garlic forward. And the bread that came on the side was also fresh and fluffy and perfect for dipping. So good!
google avatar

Mel S.

Yelp
Really great spot if you are looking for yummy food with views and accompanied by your furry friend!
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Great place to eat and enjoy the view. We loved the homemade bread and beer. The margarita pizza was yummy too. My son had the bbq chicken pizza and ate every bite. It was a hot day, but we ate outside to enjoy the view. It wasn't too bad in the shade. Service was great! It was a nice last meal in Sedona.
google avatar

Diem P.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant! We had the house salad, pizza and peach pecan cobbler. Salad was fresh with a balanced house made Italian dressing. Pizza was good generously topped with cheese, sausage and mushrooms...not greasy. The peach pecan cobbler topped with buttered pecan ice cream...which is brilliant! If I order this again, I would ask to have the top less toasted...a little too hard to eat. Be mindful that this order takes a while since it is made-to-order....but well worth the wait!
google avatar

Monique M.

Yelp
Great views, food, and service! We got the wings (yummy sauces on the side), peach pizza, kickin chicken and meatball sandwiches. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend coming.
google avatar

Sofia S.

Yelp
The food here was very good! As a NJ Italian I was very very sceptic of Italian food in Arizona. This place hit the spot, with a cute interior and nice staff. The food came out quickly and although the pizza wasn't the best I have had, it definitely hit the spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Parking is very difficult Adjacent businesses post that they tow Hideaway customers Waiter had to go ask about someone about everything Outdoor seating is nice Cheesy bread was good Gluten-free gnocchi was fabulous The presentation of the harvest salad was well done
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
This was a unique restaurant and better to eat here instead of a typical restaurant you would find elsewhere. The indoor guests sit upstairs and the waitress led us downstairs where they had a lot of seating with the amazing views. It's why they named it Hideway house. Waitress recommended the shrimp & gnocchi entree, brisk chicken, and peach & pancetta pizza. Cheesy garlic bread was worth it. We loved eating here. Parking lot is small and you may have to park farther away.
google avatar

Nick D.

Yelp
The food is magnificent! I went kinda healthy. Gluten free chicken wrap. Was great! Service is great too. Nathan always had our drinks filled. The What was yours called the skewer, the filet mignon skewers were the bomb! AND THE AMBIANCE! Sit on the patio. The view is a Amazing!

Yelp
The Hideaway House was highly recommended as a place to stop by and dine-in in Sedona for their great view. My boyfriend and I were luckily able to get seated down in the patio and the view was amazing! I was so glad there were heat lamps too because it was cold out there. For the food-- We ordered the Caramelized Onion Soup, Chicken Pesto Pasta, and the Kat's Way since they all seemed like popular dishes. The Caramelized Onion Soup had tons of cheese, which is a plus and it ended up being so good! The Chicken Pesto Pasta was my favorite dish. The homemade pesto sauce was to die for! It was such a big portion and had tons of chicken. The Kat's Way was good and had interesting flavors. The homemade pizza dough was really good as well! Overall, we loved our experience at the Hideaway House. The food and views were amazing! We will def come back next time we take a trip to Sedona.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a weekday and it there was a short wait. The location is central to a lot of places in Sedona and the views are beautiful. For food we ordered a peach and chicken pizza and the Italian grinder. This was probably the first time I had peach on pizza and I really enjoyed. It normally comes with pancetta but we substituted that for chicken and the combo work. The ricotta gave it a nice creaminess and richness to merry the flavors together. The Italian grinder was a pretty standard Italian sandwich except for the thin pressed bread they used. The bread was light and slightly crunchy which helped it not be overly heavy. I think I'm a little spoiled when it comes to Italian food and pizza being from New Jersey but they put their own twists on things to make these items stand out. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. Was it the best pizza and sub I've had? No. But their subtle twists, portion size, scenic views and friendly staff make this place a must visit in Sedona.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
This place was interesting. It looked really good from their photos and all of their food online, but it kind of let me down once I ate there. I tried the homemade bread and a pizza our server Troy recommended, the Roasted Peach & Caramelized Pancetta pizza. We also had the green lipped mussels. The bread and the mussels were great, but the pancetta on the pizza wasn't that great. It didn't taste fresh and had that gamy porky flavor. I just picked that off. We sat outside and enjoyed a great view. I had to use the restroom before I left and there is only ONE for the WHOLE restaurant that's shared between men and women. Hopefully they have one in the back door their employees. There was a line of course to use that one little bathroom. The line gave me anxiety and I couldn't use the restroom comfortably.

Yelp
I am so happy Yelp suggested this place to me while I was traveling in Sedona. You cannot beat the view from the patio here. The entire "tree house" vibe is amazing. My spouse and mother-in-law loved coming here. We did sit on the patio despite it being like 50 degrees but the restaurant has blankets they will bring you! The food was pretty basic but tasty. I have no complaints but if you are looking for something more high class, this is not the place to go. You get a pretty modest menu, which is yummy. They allowed us to move tables to avoid a draft that was causing us to be colder than normal which was sooooo nice of them. We loved that our server was so attentive to our needs. Do yourself a favor and check this place out next time you are in Sedona. The views are *chefs kiss*! CHEERS!

Yelp
I ordered the kickin chicken with house salad, pickly pear lemonade and garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread was solid, not too much cheese.Sometimes in my opinion as too much cheese! It was a solid appetizer choice while we waited for our main meals. The kickin chicken wasn't kickin as stated on the menu, the chicken was really crispy and seasoned. The salad was really fresh. My absolute favorite item on their menu was their prickly pear lemonade, one of the best I have had. It's was really good. I wish I could take some home with me. The staff were great and the restaurant was clean.

Yelp
I'm honestly disappointed to be writing this review. This place was hyped up by a lot of people but really missed the mark for me. My husband and I were in Sedona for the weekend and found Hideaway House highly rated on Yelp, so we decided to dine-in for dinner. Our server, Cat, was friendly, but too busy. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or if this is normal for them. We sat awkwardly for about 20 minutes after finishing our dessert before we could get the check. They have a pretty expansive menu, catering to a lot of different tastes. The restaurant considers itself Italian, but I highly disagree. Definitely American with a hint of Italian foods sprinkled throughout. I ordered the "filet mignon skewers," which per the menu "Two filet skewers cooked to medium, garlic mashed potato's w/ sautéed vegetables and homemade Au Jus." This meal was abysmal. The "filet" was most certainly a cheap cut of meat, as I couldn't stop chewing, and only about half of the pieces were edible. It also came drenched in a green sauce, which I believe was chimichurri based on the taste. The green color was extremely off-putting, as that was not listed on the menu. The steak was also incredibly overcooked, definitely well-done. Now, onto the potatoes...they were LEMON FLAVORED. I was so hype to have garlic mashed potatoes with my steak and was shocked at their taste. I even gave some to my husband to double check. I asked our server what kind of potatoes they were, she confirmed they were supposed to be garlic, so I informed her they were lemon flavored. She said she'd let the kitchen know but never followed up. The vegetables on the plate were the star of the show tbh. They were cooked perfectly and with fresh garlic!! I loved them and ate every single piece. My husband ordered the chicken parm and liked it. I am not a fan of chicken parm so did not taste it. For dessert, my husband ordered the peach and pecan cobbler, which is cooked to order. This also missed the mark for me. It tasted really sweet, and the peach flavor was completely overshadowed by the pecans. We went to McDonalds after because I was still hungry. I would possibly consider returning to try the pizza, but I would never order another entree here.

Yelp
This past weekend, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Sedona. While looking over the reviews, we saw the Hideaway House and decided it was the best place to eat. Our food was delicious. For an appetizer, we got wings with a side of buffalo in ranch. The buffalo in ranch were delicious. the sauces were weird tasting how they usually are at other restaurants. Then we shared chicken Alfredo with broccoli. Now let me just say this was really good. The reason that I gave this restaurant four stars instead of five stars was because the service was average. our server was kind however he took quite some time to come back and check on us. however, besides that everything was great. The ambience was casual. I would recommend that if you sit outside, you bring your own fan because it is extremely hot. That was probably something i shouldve taken into consideration.

Yelp
Buyer beware: purely based on food, our experience was only 3/5. The fourth star is added solely on account of the magnificent view. Portions and prices were fair. Flavor-wise, dishes failed to exceed an "ok" standard. Nothing terribly wrong but nothing memorable either. Service was slow and complacent. Took walking to find the waiter several times to be noticed, which we found frustrating.

Yelp
Vegetarian and dog friendly restaurant with great apps and pizzas! They provide water for your pup, and have food to order. Outdoor seating is very cozy with heaters and blankets. Apparently during the day you have a really good view, at night it becomes pitch dark. All the bread related apps we got were so nice. I wish the home bread had a little more balsamic vinegar. Notes: They charge extra for extra marinara. All soups are made with chicken broth

Yelp
Heard about this spot on TikTok and added it to our list for lunch after our hike. The menu didn't have too many options that interest us so we went with the Peach Pizza that everyone raved about and it did not disappoint. We got the medium and it fed 3 of us (2 slices each) enough to hold us over for our 2 hour drive back to Scottsdale. (We subbed the Pancetta for chicken) We got there at 11 once they opened, there was no one else there and we had to wait about 20 min for a table. I had said we wanted outdoor seating for the view and when we were finally seated they didn't have anymore tables with a view (? Idk) so we just sat inside All I can really say is the pizza was good

Yelp
Great find after a long hike. Food was yummy and Eric our waiter was extremely helpful. I picked this place to try the roasted peach and caramelized onion pizza. Did not disappoint. Hubby surprisingly liked it too. I think there was some honey on it. We enjoyed the mussel appetizer with leftover sauce to dip the pizza crust into. We were too full to try any desserts. We would come again.

Yelp
I don't know why when it comes to Italian food that people's rating radars suddenly sky rocket no matter how poorly the food is prepared. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. First of all, my heart always sinks when the pasta is NOT cooked with the sauce, and it sits anemically under some ladled-on marinara. Meatballs had delicious flavor, but had slimy texture because they were not fresh. 20 dollars certainly wasted. I would've paid 40 for fresh and seasoned food. I shed a tear for Italy. Service excellent. Nothing more to say there! You could not find a more beautiful location downtown. What a view. The only thing keeping my mood up after the meal was watching the setting sun hitting the rocks. By the way, my friend ordered a pizza. The sausage topping was so obviously not homemade, and the crust was unimpressive. If you can't nail pizza and a simple spaghetti and meatballs, you're not deserving of the current 4.5 star rating in my humble opinion.

Yelp
Excellent view! Food was soo delicious! We went during spring break for party of 9 and worried that we may not get seated in the balcony since we're walk-ins. Surprisingly, we got our table within 20-30mins. Excellent service. Will come back again.
