Always pass by this bar, no matter what day of the week the parking lot is always packed. I decided to pull in and already understood why. The atmosphere was fantastic; they host many events throughout the week with amazing deals on meals and drinks, and they are ALL WEEK LONG! On top of that, they have an outdoor area with so many games! And inside also many, many, many games! Honestly what a great location for a quick drink or even just to vibe out with friends there is so much to do and definitely lots to drink!

I first went about three weeks ago and again about a week ago for my birthday. It is a great place for karoake. Even though I butchered my last two songs on my last visit. I was given two complimentary Sprites due to it being my birthday. The first and last visit were completely different. The first one was great and everyone was having fun. People were singing along; offering to do background vocals; and offering to serve as dancers during karoake performances. They had me weak with laughter. The crowd that night was very lit. During the second visit, I felt uneasy the later I stayed (stayed until closing) due to some rough housing going on. I do not like chaos and that is why I am not very social to begin with. Nothing got too out-of-hand. I may just need to leave by a certain time. The bartender Zachary was nice. He also has a great voice! Tim the Disc Jockey is great as well! He had everyone sing happy birthday to me per my friend's request. A patron collected our glasses and placed them together, while a young lady who works at the lounge cleared our table. Thank you to both! I have yet to try the food so I cannot comment on it. I am a bit apprehensive as I saw more people drinking than eating. I may try some food one day. I plan to visit again in the future. Thank you for hosting us and helping make my birthday memorable.

Food: I've tried the Nachos with meat, and the mozzarella sticks, they are good, no complains They have very reasonable prices, there is two specific bartenders who I can say they are awesome 👌, Not sure about the other ones, this is the 5th time I've visited this place and I like it. It's a good place to go straight after work, nothing fancy, just regular and simple people trying to have a good time, I read a comment saying they sell coke at the restrooms and I couldn't fine anybody to confirm it lol 🤣 so I read about all the bad comments before going 🤭 and I found one about the Karaoke guy Tim, and he seems to be very nice and friendly to me, they learn your names fast, so as soon as I walk in, they serves you what you usually drink and play the songs you sing the most, so very happy with that, I know some people think it is a dirty place but I think the colors of the walls are the once that don't help. Girls restroom was very clean yesterday so not sure what happened with the bad comments. Tim, Jackie and Zack my 5 stars every time we go there. And music you can go from oldies to rap and metal, country and romantic music and I havent seen anybody complaining. Hope this review helps, give it a chance.

Different ages... Different cultures... Everybody is friendly... Chicken wings and frys are pretty damn good... Pool, darts, karaoke. D.j.- is awesome he reads the room. Bartenders are attentive and fast.. Drinks aren't expensive but good. Wanna just catch up with friends or meet someone new close to the house. Come to the Hideaway.

Fun dive bar. Eclectic crowd. Good selection of beers and cocktails. Bartenders are on point and very friendly.

I love the karaoke 🎤😍 wed thru Sunday

ATTENTION EVERYONE. THIS IS A SERIOUSE AND LEGIT PA....I stopped in at the Hideaway Lounge at 32st and Thomas for a beer and lunch while out on the scooter. Been there a couple times in the past, but never ate there. I HIGHLY recommend that you don't. I cancelled my order, paid for the beer, and after schooling the staff, that I believe is the owner, and left immediately. Here's why.... 1. I watched the bartender begin to make my lunch without washing her hands. Put the fries into the deep fryer then proceeded to handle the raw ground beef without ever washing her hands or using gloves. She had already handled money, a CC and touched pretty much everything behind the bar prior. 2. Watched, who I believe to be the owner, begin to the rest of order handling ready-to-eat foods AGAIN never washing hands first and not wearing gloves. Both these are serious health violations. 3. The worst....then a dog walks into the kitchen area snooping around and nothing done about it!! WTF!!! These are major issues and health violations. I immediately canceled my lunch order and left. I was sure to tell them why!!! At least she let me have the beer 'on the house' in which thankfully it was in a can. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

It's a bit away from stomping grounds, but they have Karaoke Thursday-Sunday. Evidently, though a Thursday, it wasn't popping off with a long list of singers, and that is what brought me that way. In my experience, the best dive is close to home. You see your neighbors, you make friends with some locals. I came in alone, and sat alone annnd didn't sing. What a bummer I am. Nonetheless, after kindly shooing the guy who wanted to dump his day on me, as gently as I could, it lightened up a bit... my extroverted self seems to be quiet these days, but at the end of my visit, I found it to be an overall pleasant night. It wasn't my first time in, and I imagine it won't be my last. A basket of fries and a few shirley temples, away from my neck of the woods? Yea, sure, why not. Kind staff, double cherries, all good here.

I've been going to this place for the last two years. I still go there as of today. A great local neighborhood bar. You can always find someone to play pool against you and have a good time.

Chris has been working at the hideaway lounge for 3 weeks he has won me over with his personality we need more like him he is an opener which is not a busy shift All us young girls come in and see him he is sweet

In what turns out to be a fitting coincidence, Hideaway is actually a great place to go when you're avoiding others. It's away from downtown/Arcadia/Scottsdale hotspots, and on an intersection that no one except neighborhood regulars would expect a good bar to be. There is nothing remarkable about this place in particular, there's just a lot of space and some giant TVs. And the TV's have tables right in front of them, with every seat facing the actual television. Why do so many sports bars get this wrong? At Hideaway, they know exactly what you want and they execute it well. When you're not catching a game, there are billiard tables--one indoors, and the other on a very spacious patio. Enjoy whatever while you keep ordering cheap drinks from a team of bartenders who have all been cool. This dive also attracts patrons of all ages, so I could recommend it to anyone. If you took this exact same space and placed it in more well-known neighborhoods, it would be loads more popular. There are too many watering holes that can coast on mediocrity based on location, and I want you to know you deserve more. Don't overlook this place.

Worst service ever. I stood in front of two bartenders who looked right at me and walked by to help people who walked up to the bar after me. We usually come in the morning and the service is great, the food is awesome and we have a good time. This time I decided to take some friends with me at night. I bragged about it so much they wanted to see for themselves. I wish I hadn't done that. We couldn't get drinks and our appetizers were burned. I'll never recommend this place again. Sorry, but this little experience has cost you a customer. There are way too many bars that I can go to and be treated like a customer instead of someone who is bothering the bartenders.

This has become our new must stop in places for drinks when we're in Phoenix for an evening of fun. The drinks are inexpensive and good, the customers are fun and the service is really good. We've yet to try the food but that'll be on are next time when we're downtown to bad this place isn't in Gilbert.

This place turned me away after making me wait ten minutes for a drink, no servers, no bartenders around. The owner awnsered the phone in front of me, and then decided to stand behind me instead of helping me. I've been in the industry for awhile, 1. Bartender never leaves the bar. 2. Owners/managers take care of said vaccines. 3. Don't be rude, ask nicely when you want people to leave All of these aspects have been disregard, I came to support you durring covid, and you didn't meet expectations at all. In fact you feel far below.

We came here for breakfast Thursday. It was a disaster. I ordered a Bloody Mary and my daughter an oj. It took 10 minutes to get. There were 5 customers in the place. The Bloody Mary is as undrinkable. It was vodka and tomato juice and the oj was canned. We asked for menus, waited another 10 minutes, put money on the table and left. There are other good dice bars in the area. Go to one of them.

If you are looking to 'hideaway' from adulting then this is the place for you! This place has everything, flip flops with jeans, rage against the machines playing on the jukebox, the crazy lady the screams profanities at 630am, and your coworker that's on a "keto diet". Jeanette will serve you an amazing drink, slap you in the face, choke you out and thank you to death.

Neighborhood bar, very very casual. BEST wings ever!!! Thought I would try it and I'll be back. Cool music, darts, pool table.

Best dive bar in the area! Ray's wings are the best hands down. Ray's wing sauce & ranch are scratch made! Wide variety of beer & spirits for a very good price! Tito's is $5.50 wth!? 2 pool tables, 4 dart boards & plenty of Tv's. Smoking patio is big with plenty of seating! Jukebox had a wide variety of tunes playing

The breakfast deal is a STEAL. You should definitely visit just for the experience. The back patio is dog-friendly, and many customers are regulars. Great drink specials and good coffee.

Low key bar with friendly regulars, well priced drinks, good enough bar food (not too many vegetarian options, but it's a bar), a solid juke box, and lots of bar games.

This bar is fantastic, great drink specials, the food was amazing, plenty of TVs for sports, the customer service was perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you sonia!

Cool spot . Had a couple drinks n played some pool in the back patio area , it wasn't too packed . Some music played and karaoke was goin on .. met a couple regular girls to the bar that were cool. They have food n it was good hit the spot for me ordered hot wings n fries, didnt stay too long just a pit stop but cool environment.

I have a penchant for friendly dive bars populated by characters, and the Hideaway fits the bill. Every time I have to go to Home Depot, I make it into an event that involves the Hideaway. Fave bartenders include the always festive Mandy & Jeanette. Some talented cooks also. Get the killer breakfast special! Love this place.

Love, love, love this little "hideaway"! It has a jukebox so that already is a plus. Even better, Jeremy is an amazing cook and Jeannette is the best waitress/bartender/etc. around! Kareoke on the weekends! We love our time spent here!

Bartender ignored us the entire time. Had to jump up to get her to notice us. Fruit flies were everywhere. I hope I didn't ingest any flies while I was there. Last time I go here and I've been here more then once. My lady didn't want a mix drink because it might include some fruit flies. Beware if you decide to go here. Drink at your own risk. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Don't let all the one star reviews scare you away. Yes its next to a check cashing joint and bus stop and yes there will definitely be a unique mix of people there but you are feigning for some cheap drinks entertaining crowd and decent bar food ...go to the Hideaway. I've eaten three times and no issues with the tacos fish fry or burger. Would definitely get the shredded beef tacos again that were less $2 each and the burger fries for around 10 bucks was damn good. The cook made the patties right then didn't over cook and generous toppings. The fish fry wasn't bad but again you're not coming here for 5 star grub. Small pitchers are less than 5 bucks and they have a decent list on tap. Full bar and the bartenders are all laid back and chill. When you walk the bar takes up the back wall. Plenty of flat screens with sound across that back wall and few tvs to the side as well. One pool table to the right with more seating and then a handful of tables to the left. Easily could fit a 100+ people. Usually about 10-20. Small patio as well but I haven't been out there yet.

I went back after my last review, not by choice but a friend forced me to. I'm glad I gave it another chance because the service was so much better and the food was so good! The chicken sandwich is probably the best I've ever had, and the service has been great. As soon as we sit down the bartender is already preparing my drink since I always oder the same thing. It's my new fav place.

Recommended by a few people may have my fiancé decided to go to the hideaway lounge. We walking up to the door and counted the owner Steve who was not only pleasant but outgoing full of conversation and information. We then enter to the restaurant seated fairly quickly onto the patio. Where we were greetedBy a stellar scenic view. As we were told voted in the top 10 views in the Arizona area. Rick was our server and an awesome awesome server he is. He walked us through the menu through the specialties and the wine list. The food was awesome the wiring was as well. It wasn't the cheapest place I've ever been to. But I'd have to say I go back every chance I get. Thanks Rick thanks Steve.

You have a special of "fish and chips" and NO Malt Vinegar... What??? However the homemade chips are very good.. service is a bit lacks.. overall good dive bar but needs a good cook!!! And a staff that knows what malt vinegar is???

I recently moved to Phx from the Bay Area and discovered this gem near my house. The bartender Molly suggested the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich & might I say it was the best! I will definitely be back soon!

Driven by here hundreds of times and never saw it. Crappy neighborhood and extremely difficult to exit the parking lot unless you are heading east. But the staff is wonderfully friendly and the Friday fish fry is tremendous. My only complaint is about half the customers were obviously hammered yet continued to get served. Juke box WAY too loud.

I stumbled on this gem when I met the owner Ray last week. I stopped by there yesterday. This place is fantastic. Definitely a local dive bar with great service, fantastic food, and a fun atmosphere. Make sure to order the wings Ray's way. Once you go there, you will be hooked. This will be a weekly stop for me.

Place is lame, Saturday night 11pm, can't get service, only I bar gal who is to busy gossiping.

Warning to all; pay with cash! Went to enjoy my Thursday night with good company and the bar wasn't busy, however the female bar tender had given my friends debit card to the wrong customer. That customer then started to charge outrages amount to my friends tab. They did refund the money at that point but is that still acceptable? A complete stranger having your debit card and info? Think twice before going. Also the darts aren't worth playing there.

For the most part the bartenders are alright. Depends on the day of the week. Happy hour is alright but not the best when it comes to food. And then, there's the fact that they allow back into the establishment people that physically assault others... They throw them out of the bar for that first night but allow them back afterwards. The owner saying she can ban someone but it all depends on the bartender whichever night it is... Really?!?! Are you the owner in charge or are you only looking at profits while leaving your values and integrity behind?

Great food and great service enjoyed the atmosphere. Nice play to have a quick drink after work!
