We went for Sunday brunch today to Hideout 125. It was our first time in the new building. Wow! Great ambiance with multiple dining rooms, a huge bar with booths and tables, an outdoor patio, a banquet room, and a smaller room that can be reserved for large groups. Although there is a special Sunday Brunch menu with lots of creative brunch items, you can also order anything from the full menu as well. We started with the delicious and tender tempura asparagus with dipping sauce. Then I ordered the small chop salad with wonderful ingredients. For entrees, I ordered the shrimp and grits. It was absolutely amazing with tender, creamy grits, andouille sausage, 5 perfectly cooked gigantic shrimp, and a very flavorful andouille gravy/sauce! It is definitely a dish I will order again! My daughter ordered the famous lobster roll, which was packed with lobster! The garlic sauce really made it even more delicious! Service was outstanding and our server, Antavia O. was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive! We were too full to order dessert, but I did enjoy a refreshing Raspberry Hammer cocktail.
Four of us returned to Hideout 125 for Sunday brunch again today. We asked to eat in the bar area. It had great, dimly lit ambiance but was a little loud because the bar was so close to the booth area. Our server, Sophia was excellent: attentive, friendly, and helpful! She spaced the courses perfectly! For appetizers, 3 of us each ordered the crab cakes (3) and the small chopped salad. Our entrees included the tender lobster house-made ravioli, the perfectly cooked filet, the delicious lobster Benedict, and the yummy shrimp pasta dish. Every one of them was wonderful! Desserts included the brownie with ice cream, the 3 beignets, and the Hideout trio of a raspberry moose cup, a beignet, and half of a brownie & ice cream. All in all, everything was PERFECT!
