Five Vietnamese Dishes to Know and Where to Eat Them in Boston - Eater Boston

"You can also find bun rieu at Hien Vuong Restaurant (1487 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester), where the soup contains large pieces of the crab and egg mixture and has an incredible depth of flavor. Hien Vuong Restaurant is currently offering takeout." - Karen Wilber

Best Vietnamese Food Dorchester Boston - Eater Boston

"The bun tom nuong bi is the move at Hien Vuong. Vermicelli noodles come served with various vegetables, charbroiled shrimp, and shredded pork. This Dorchester Avenue spot also serves up a seriously good bowl of pho." - Terrence Doyle

Very authentic best vietnamese food I've had in boston so far! Service is not the best but it's okay, go for the food.

The Bun Mam seems to get love on yelp, so I gave it a try not knowing what it actually was. When I went to pickup, I was a bit put off by the price since it close to $16 for a bowl of noodles. However, this is a premium dish, it comes with cha siu, shrimp, squid, and fish filet. The cha siu was the highlight for me, rich and fatty. The noodles were really soft. Really enjoyed it.

I have been eating here for over 6 years and all the aunties, are awesome and they will explain the food and the correct way to eat and prepare it. They also have special side dishes on Friday. HEAVEN 😌

The pho was good, nothing to rave about, but wasn't bad. I got the fried noodles, that were blackened, and still had to pay for an inedible meal. Thoroughly unimpressed!

Had the chao long. The meats and organs were delicious and soup flavorful. Expectations were low when I came in. But I left with a near empty bowl.

Closest thing to homemade traditional Vietnamese in the Greater Boston area. The hu tieu is my personal favorite here. The atmosphere is similar to a close-knit Hong Kong diner.

Very friendly service. Food is very fresh. I had the rice and grill chicken. Best rice grill chick I've ever ate.
