Great venue for a multiple of activities from kereoke, and ax throwing to listening to bands and, oh yes, trying some local brews. We came here to listen to a couple of great local bands. I believe one can purchase food from the adjacent restaurants that share the building. I’m not sure if this was a standard assortment of beers and hard siders, but the selection was a little limited with a couple of IPAs, and stouts and one Pilsner. The beer was nice as is many of the outstanding micro brewers around Atlanta. Staff is friendly and parking was not an issue.

Three breweries in one at this quirky location! Some nights are lively and crowded, others more chill. All nights are comfortable, welcoming, and fun. Come as you are whoever you are, but leave negative vibes at the door. This place is connection and revelry only, flying a flag that says “abide no hatred,” and happily supporting Tucker Pride. As someone who is gluten free, I can only review the ciders, but those ciders are so worth mentioning. Delicious and strong, a couple of these make for a cheery evening in a peace and love crowd. Occasional food pop-ups (especially Senpai noodles!) bring the deliciousness to you, but other nights, you’re welcome to bring in your own munchies. I recommend stopping at Tucker Meat Market for burgers and wings before you swing through for a drink and some axe throwing and air hockey. Huge fan of their events; karaoke, comedy, yoga, axe and cornhole leagues… it’s a must do in Tucker.

Was confused as to the Brewery, but appears to be two in one? Small selection, but flavorful. 16 beers on tap, 2 ciders, 2 can options. Check their “Taps” on their website before you come. Their “Beer” tab on their website is any beer they have ever produced, and not the beers they currently have on tap. The “Dark Heart” chocolate raspberry stout was delicious. The “Bloodmoon” wheat ale was nice. Two flights $35. Sunday afternoon was pretty slow. Atmosphere was “ok”. Definitely a one and done for us.

Last weekend before final closing and they hosted an awesome kids reptile exhibit! That is the way to blow out, with an amazing stout, lager, and a 30 year old tortoise named Hank just chillin with kiddos. Love it.

Great place you should check out. Same place as BlueTarp brewing. Good people, good beer and good music. What more can you ask for.

This is gonna seem intense. I’m not hugely upset it just needs to be addressed. We moved away from Atlanta but we come back to visit often. We were pumped to see that local legends The Judies were playing while we were in town this time so we bought tickets. Advertised time was 7pm. I called to see if that meant doors at 7 and show at 8. I was told doors at 7 show at 7:30. Great! We show up at 7:15 and The Judies were already playing. We missed our favorite songs from a band that hasn’t played live in over a decade because someone answered the phone and told us the wrong time. I ran events in this town for seven years at several well-known venues. I know this is a brewery, but if you’re going to do ticketed shows you *have to* get your times right.

Alan is one of the best craft brewers along with Tom and Chris. Lots of variety to choose from. The venue is an open space with gaming, corn hole leagues and ax throwing. You can bring in outside food from outside establishments. Many times there are pop-up restaurants in the tap room. There is live onstage music weekly. Dog and kid friendly. You can't go wrong! It is nestled behind the Local 7 on Main Street in the heart of Tucker.

Very laid back atmosphere with a selection of unusual brews and welcoming bartenders. Good food is just down the hall at at least 2 restaurants.

Yelp
What can I really say but the fact that I found another great brewery out here in the Atlanta area. I looked them up, and I knew I had to come by. If you look at my picture and cross reference with my review, I'm going to put each beer that I had in the picture and their % since they were all poured in order from left to right. These are all the beers that are currently on tap there. For the most part these were all some heavy hitters. Overall I enjoyed my experience, this is a good spot to check out. 1. "Caribbean Tief" Foreign Extra Stout 6.9% 2. "Brain Juice" IPA with BBA Coffee 6.7% 3. "Too-Ra-Loo-Rye-PA" Rye IPA 6.7% 4. "PBJammin" PBJ Sandwich Beer 8% 5. "Gourd Jus" Pumpkin Pie Ale 5.8% 6. "Jingle Brew" Winter Warmer 6.4% 7. "Vampires Kiss" Blood Orange Habanero Cider 5.5% 8. "I am Groot" Habanero IPA 7.2%

Yelp
Great place to checkout for some cool local brews. A locally owned micro brewery located in Downtown Tucker, GA. Serving beers along with small batch unique experimental. This is the same place as Blue Tarp Brewing. Actually they share the venue. Good people, good beer and good music. Alan and Tom, the co-owners of the space, are top-notch laid-back guys. They are also great brewers. Between High Card and Blue Tarp, there is something for everybody. Plenty of inventive styles and flavors, without the try hard vibe you may experience at other places. Bartender was really nice and friendly, and we felt welcomed. I loved the Key Lime IPA and also the White Queen which has one of the best tastes with a slightly spicy kick of habanero. Pricing is almost the same as any other breweries. This place is very casual and relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly, kid friendly, host music shows, art markets, and let girl scouts sell their cookies. There is plenty of free street parking available in front of the brewery. Definitely the place to go for great craft Brews, live music and all sorts of funky, inclusive, fun events. Can't get much more welcoming. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Yelp
After receiving a recommendation from my manager to check out High Card, I stopped in after work to try out some of the beers. I have been to Tucker Brewing many times and I would have to say, Tucker Brewing is very very good for their German style beers, but lacks variety outside of that. So I appreciate having another brewery so closeby. Dog friendly! There is a generous outdoor patio/parking lot full of seating. There is also some indoor seating, but a little more limited. There is a good beer selection on tap, and I ended up trying the Luck Key Lady IPA. Tart fruity and juicy, just what I like in an IPA! There is such an extensive list that I definitely need to check out more of soon. You can order food from a neighboring restaurant, so we decided to grab a quick bite from the connected restaurant Hot Betty's. Their chicken sandwich is delicious - highly recommend. It definitely hits the spot when you're downing beers, too! I'll definitely need to stop in again to check out some of their new beers!

Yelp
Favorite place. Great beer and a sort of community center. Always something going on.

Yelp
We've been coming to High Card & Blue Tarp for about a year now. There isn't a better brewery around. Alan and Tom and passionate about creating interesting, delicious beer and equally passionate about building a place where people feel comfortable and welcome. They have been a wonderful addition to the downtown Tucker community! Cheers, gentlemen!

Yelp
High Card/BlueTarp Brewing is a great spot in downtown Tucker with a laid back vibe where you can relax, drink, engage in great conversation, and even catch some local music. If you haven't checked it out yet, it is worth your while. The taps rotate fairly regularly, so there is something new to try. They even have a delicious cider on tap - yum!
