A neighborhood favorite for thin, crisp crusts and generous toppings, including Memphis-style BBQ pork pies. Highlighted in the Daily Memphian’s Memphis Pizza Guide, it’s an easy call for carryout or a low-key dinner after a Greenline stroll.

We stumbled upon this place while in the area and decided to give it a shot. It's clearly a favorite among locals, and we can see why. The pizza and cheesy bread were delicious, so we'll definitely return. Being able to eat with our dog while outside was also a plus.

Google
First time trying this place out and they definitely make flavorful pizza! You can taste the quality ingredients. My only complaint is I thought the pizza would be thicker based on pictures on google however I think it's based on size of pizza and probably the type of pizza determines how thick or thin pizza will be. Will order again!

I ordered lasagna at a pizza place...it was delicious! Next time, I will sample the wide selection of pizzas. Tyson, who provided our late-lunch service, was an animated host, and made us feel like old friends. We definitely come back 👍🏻

My son always brags on their pizza so we had to try it!! The pizza is DIVINE! The service is lacking. When I placed the order the lady was very short and nonchalant, so I figured it was busy. I go to pick up the pizzas and there was no one there. The cashier proceeded to stare at me while on the phone taking another order. I’m hoping her Wednesday like persona was because she was having a rough day and not how she is like with all customers. We plan to return and hopefully she’ll find her happy place before coming to work.

What a hidden gem. The best pizza hands down. The quaint outside seating in a quiet neighborhood setting is inviting and feels safe. I had the Memphian. The small will easily feed two hungry people. Love this place!!!!

Google
We're from our of town and we're hungry for pizza so I did a quick search and saw 4.7 stars, figured it was a safe choice. We had the margarita pizza which a pretty simple pie and hard to screw up. It was a disappointment. No white sauce which is what you put on a margarita pizza, instead tomato sauce that wasn't great. The basil was baked out of flavor, tomatoes didn't have much flavor and no garlic or olive oil flavor. Crust was "okay". This is a neat little neighborhood pizza shop and they were packed. All I can figure is either margarita pizza isn't their thing or they specialize in some other kind of pizza. All in all, a little better than the big brands but not something I'd return for at all.

Had the taste for a buffalo chicken pizza and came across High Point as a suggestion. I read that it was "ranch based" and was a little lery because I knew my tastebuds wanted a specific buffalo taste. Decided to take a chance on something new. Ordered for pick up about an hour before closing. Got there in 30 minutes and when I walked in the place was small and personal. There was a gentleman I assume waiting on his order who was sitting at one of the tables. I was greeted by a young man who told me someone would be right with me. As I stood at the counter I couldn't help but notice the delicious dessert in the display cabinet under the register. The price said $8 a slice but the carrot cake was calling so I added it to the order. A gentleman appeared from around the corner and retrieved my pizza and checked me out. I was praying that I enjoyed my meal because my total ($26) was a bit steep for a 10 inch pizza and dessert. Got home and got occupied that I didn't get to eat right away. By the time I got to my food the pizza was no longer hot. I took a slice to munch on with the intent to heat the rest. The pizza never made it to the oven. at ROOM TEMPERATURE this pizza a delicious!! I at a few more slices just as they were. There was plenty of chicken and cheese on the top. Although it wasn't giving the "buffalo " taste I was originally looking for, this pizza was "buffalo-ing" in its own unique delicious way so I was satisfied. Now to the carrot cake. It was very good as well. It appeared to look a little dense and in a sense it was. The cake was very most (almost a lil bit too much) but it didn't subtract from the good flavor of the cake. For that I would give it a strong B+. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would order both items again. High Point will have to be a special treat though at this point because my belly can be made just as happy at some other spots that would make my pockets happy also. But you have to experience this place at least once!

Google
Absolutely stellar pizza spot! From the mouthwatering aroma that greets you at the door to the perfect blend of cheese and sauce on every slice, this place is a true gem. The friendly staff adds a delightful touch to the overall experience. A must-try for any pizza enthusiast!

Yelp
I got the 4 meat pizza. Subbed ham for pepperoni. Service was good, they let you take some paper plates to go if you want. To the pizza, it looks really good but it had no flavor to me. Very greasy, tasteless. Good thing is that it wasn't salty. The crust is really good, has a garlic butter taste to it, the desserts didn't look bad so that may be worth a try. 10inch pizza with tax was 20 dollars.

Yelp
First time customer, we had the Margarita pizza, wings and Zappoles. Pizza was great, flavorful and the crust was crunchy. So good. The Zappoles were so good I would come back again just for that. Great service with indoor and outside seating. Come and check it out.

Yelp
This was my first time here and loved it. It has a small town community vibe with a friendly staff. The mozzarella sticks were amazing! The pizza was hot with a nice crust. The inside only had a few tables, but a lot of customers were picking up take out. We did have to circle a few times before we got a parking space, but was worth it.

Yelp
Hidden gem. I wouldn't have known about it but through a friend. Awesome service and even better pizza. Pizza was fresh and savory. Cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the chicken caprese!

Yelp
Near greenline great for beers and meatballs and slices during lunchtime ! Love high point toasted ravioli too!

Yelp
Pizza is excellent, and the crust has a garlic butter flavor, which I love. Muffaletta is also excellent. Mortadella is used which is a must. No sloppy toppings like lettuce and tomato, either... just the olive dressing. A purist muffaletta. Salad was good... I don't care a great deal about salad, but this had dark leafy greens instead of your standard iceberg. Tiramisu and carrot cake were enjoyed as well. Great neighborhood pizza place with quality food and a positive vibe.

Yelp
A great surprise find in Memphis for tasty pizza. The crust was super crunchy and sauce tasted great. Service was slightly slow but acceptable. The place is small but a good out door seating.

Yelp
I found this gem while dropping off my neighbor for work and I'm a sucker for pizza. I ordered via phone (which is an option I still appreciate) and they answered with a great and cheerful attitude. I walked in smiling and excited to see the inside. There were customers around inside and outside. I was welcomed with a smile as well and my order was ready as promised. My hunger couldn't wait so I opened my box while in the parking lot. Pizza was simple but made well. Cheese was oozing and the buttery garlic they put on the crust made it even more tasty. I'll be back for sure to check out the other menus.

Yelp
First time visiting, my wife and I walked there and I will say it's distance from where we live is a plus. The food for the first time was amazing. Fresh, hot and full of flavor. We had the chicken calese, with buffalo wings and toasted ravioli and it was great! If you haven't been go. The service is A1 like the steak sauce(if you like that), the atmosphere is also friendly and you may see some neighbors shopping at the market or getting some beer at the pub.

Yelp
Really good pizza and salad. The Buffalo chicken was probably the best version we've had in Memphis. Tried a Margherita pizza for the first time and now I'm hooked. Only downside is their website doesn't lists prices so I was unaware of what the cost would be at pick up - it's a little pricey on my opinion.

Yelp
Great local place, great variety of food and wonderful staff. Staff gives great recommendations and the food is hot, fresh and local not a chain

Shelby O.

Yelp
We got the cheese bread 10/10 - bbq chicken 9/10 - carrot cake 100/10 best carrot cake i've ever had. definitely coming back. we want to try a pepperoni pizza next time! keep it simple. service was great, they were all very friendly! It was also a nice vibe, i thought the outdoor dining was cute!

Graceann G.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing and they have great different types of pizzas to choose from. You can do half of one style and half another style even for the small pizza. I got half Cajun chicken and half pepperoni and it was great. The service was great. They were friendly and the food came out in plenty of time.

Yelp
My group and I got an AirBnB in the town of Memphis and upon arrival, we found that this place was right across the street. We decided to try it out for a late lunch one day. Upon entrance, we found the place to be short on size inside so we decided to grab a table outside. There's a nice ambiance outside as the neighborhood was very peaceful. While our pizzas were cooking, we got try out some of the appetizers offered. The goat cheese fritters were delicious and packed with cheese. The toasted ravioli was also just as delicious and even almost filled us up before we got our pizza. For my pizza, I opted for their Cajun Chicken Pizza. I dug right in and found it to be absolutely delicious. They cut the pizzas up into a lot of slices which makes for an easier dining experience. All in all, this restaurant was incredible for the first meal and even better the second time as we all had leftovers. I got to try about 5 other pizzas offered there too and they were all delicious. The waitress was kind and attentive along with the rest of the staff. I definitely recommend trying out this place if you're ever in the neighborhood.

Yelp
We ordered three pizzas and all three were very good. We had the Wild Mushroom, Four Meat and Margarita. While all three were very good pizzas the Margarita was off the chart excellent. The place was so busy - we had to continually call because the telephone was busy and when we finally got through we were informed it would take 75 minutes for the pizzas. Despite this the staff was friendly when we arrived and they even took time to confirm the order was accurate. Definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Great pizza friendly service, cold beer, what's not to like? The front dining area also handles carry out orders. If it's warm enough, there's tables outside. There's also a bar that is accessible just past the front room entrance.

Yelp
This pizza was really really good!! It's a must try when you are in the Memphis area. We were on the way back home to Nashville and found this place we ordered a pepperoni pizza and a supreme pizza everything was delicious and the customer Service was Top Tier!!

Yelp
Great pizza! We love being able to walk to this neighborhood joint. Very friendly staff!

Yelp
Our group ordered the toasted ravioli, Wild Mushroom, Pepperoni and Margherita pizzas. The 12" pizzas were perfect to share and sample. We called ahead and picked up our order in about 30 minutes, which was faster than I expected for a Saturday night. The bite-sized toasted ravioli were well seasoned, crispy and served with a delicious marinara sauce. The dish was a precursor of great things to come. The crust of all three pizza was thin, crispy and buttery. It acted as a great base for all three of the toppings. The pepperoni was just greasy enough without being too drippy and salty. It paired well with the slightly sweet and tangy marinara base. The margherita was simple but tasty with roma tomatoes topped with a generous amount of tangy feta cheese and fresh basil. I'm not a fan of mushrooms so I can't speak to the Wild Mushroom pizza, but everyone who tried it raved about it. High Point Pizza is a hidden gem in Memphis. I highly recommend it when you need a pizza fix (which is always, right??).

Yelp
Def service and food are great but it's so small you can't ever get in to get food anymore - I've been in this neighborhood 25 yrs and the last three times I've been there it's either been a tremendous wait or they just can't take my order they are so backed up!!

Diana S.

Yelp
My first time not my last. Pizza is my thing, but the Tiramisu was phenomenal !! It's the best I've ever had in Memphis. And that includes places I won't name. I don't like to mention other restaurants. Thanks for making be happy !!
google avatar

Yelp
I mean .... It was good & the service was quick. The chicken tenders are better than they look. The pizza, i felt was better the next day heated (it was cold by the time I made it home). Overall, solid, but nothing to write home about. I think I'll keep shopping around for the best pizza in town.
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
The best pizza in Memphis--hands down. The Margherita pizza is simply delicious, and I'm usually a "full topping" gal. You'd be doing yourself a great disservice to gloss over this gem!
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
Best Pizza in town! Love the thin crust and the Margarita Pizza can't be beat! Gina U

Patty D.

Yelp
Just be advised that what they call vermicelli, is regular spaghetti, not thin spaghetti. It's the reason I ordered it because it said vermicelli. I don't know why they don't call it spaghetti instead. vermicelli noun ver·mi·cel·li vr-m-che-lē -se- : pasta made in long solid strings smaller in diameter than spaghetti
google avatar

Megan D.

Yelp
Cheezy bread was . Marinara sauce had a weird beer taste to it. Pepperoni pizza was under cooked. Bbq chicken pizza lacked in flavor and had random toppings on it. Found a mushroom and a piece of bacon. Unfortunately majority of the pizza went in the trash.

Fran M.

Yelp
Fresh delicious pizza and if you're lucky they'll have tiramisu! Family friendly and a fun outdoor seating area!

Russel W.

Yelp
There isn't a better pizza place in all of Memphis. The crust is off the hook!!! The specialty pizzas are one of a kind. Don't overlook the Thursday night entree specials.

Yelp
This is one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had! I can't stop thinking about it and it's been weeks since I was here! It was just about almost perfect. I'm afraid to even try it again because it was so good. Surely pizza like this doesn't exist on its own in nature. lol The crust was just the right amount of chew and crunch at the same time. It was plump and crispy all while handling the plethora of meat toppings it had! How is that possible?!?!? The toppings were fresh and flavorful! Meat. Meat. Meat. Cheese. I think that was it, in that order. I like meat! This slice of pizza delivered!!! The cheese was just the right amount to compliment it all! Yum! Great final bake put it all together!! I am actually trying to find an excuse to come and eat here again! If you are in the neighborhood this is a must stop kind of place!!! If you are buying the pizza, message me, I'll meet you! I'll buy you a beer! Or sparkling water, whatever...

Brandon M.

Yelp
I live in the neighborhood, and used to frequent here. I want to support it, the pizza was always good, but I can't anymore. My wife went by to pick up some dessert to go. She was standing in line behind a trio of college aged women, and the cashier (late 30s guy) was acting flirty and very talkative with them. After they moved aside, my wife gets up to the counter and the cashier suddenly doesn't care to welcome customers anymore. She places her order anyway. When the cashier sees the cheesecake isn't sliced, he yells- yes, yells- "Sh--!" and he takes the cake to the kitchen area, throws it down, and comes back to the register. He then abruptly tells my wife to move so he can help the people behind her. I complained to the restaurant via their email, but got no response.

Yelp
Delicious pizza. It was a crazy night when we came in so it was about an hour wait for food. Thankfully they bring it next door to the bar to wait. Pizza was delicious and will order over and over agin!!
google avatar

Sharman M.

Yelp
Delicious pepperoni pizza and toasted ravioli with marinara sauce! It was everything that people pumped it up to be. We will definitely be going back to try other things.

Yelp
Lived here for 11 years and never heard of this gem of a pizza place. Thin crust pizza is delicious. Service is very good. Only 4 tables. Good old timey pizza joint. They have other tasty options on the menu, too. Definitely recommend High Point Pizza.

Don B.

Yelp
Thursday night special where the chef decides to make 1 particular dish is always outstanding. Last night's red fish over jambalaya was as good a meal as I've had in quite some time. Really, really great.
google avatar

Yelp
My friends and I decided to hit up this pizza joint before it closed (9pm on a Sunday), and it was great! I have a coworker who would bring leftovers for lunch, and it always smelled great. Service: great! Very nice. Food: We got the Sicilian, Margherita, and Cajun pizzas. My favorite was by far the Margherita Pizza. It was on point! The Sicilian and Cajun lacked flavor compared to other pizza restaurants I've been to. Atmosphere: Casual. Local. I docked them a star bc we saw a roach inside the restaurant crawling up the window. It was at least a 2 in Long roach. Didn't deter me from eating obviously, but I was freaked out when I first saw the roach. Great pizza. I docked them a star bc certain flavors of the pizza could have been more flavorful and also for the cockroach.

Yelp
The sandwich selection is where it's AT!! Best muffuletta in town, and the Italian is amazing!!
google avatar

Eddie A.

Yelp
This is a great place with a great Memphis feel to it. The staff is friendly and lots of fun. My wife and I made a meal of appetizers. This was our first time there (won't be our last) so we didn't know the portion sizes. An appetizer is big enough for a full meal. We had Meatballs, Goat Cheese Fritters, and Baked Ravioli. Goat Cheese Fritters- AWESOME- Great tasting gooey goat cheese in a crispy shell. Tasted absolutely amazing. Baked Ravioli- Good flavor but probably not homemade. It is tasty though. Meatballs- These were really great with a very light taste even though they were large. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the Marinara sauce tasted pretty generic. Not a lot of flavor. Love the place and the fact that we could eat inside or outside.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Delicious pizzas, sandwiches, and desserts. Local beers available. Tyson is great. This is literally the first place we bring our friends when they come to visit!!

Marciano C.

Yelp
Food is great here, no complaints, quality all the way. I will definitely return again.
google avatar

Yelp
Really excellent pizza. Some of the best in town. Legit had my wedding day groomsmen lunch here, out on the patio. Not as good next-day as some others, but so good there shouldn't be any leftovers anyway. HUGE slices. Buffalo chicken is my favorite with some fried raviolis. CLOSED ON MONDAYS

Matthew B.

Yelp
Can't go wrong here. One of a kind pizza that most likely will not have leftovers because it's so good.

Kim D.

Yelp
How have I missed this place for the past 15 years?! We had the loaded pizza and the toasted ravioli. Both were divine! Can't wait to go back and try the in-house made mozzarella sticks!
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Pizza the way you don't even realize you need it. Delicious pasta and Italian sandwich favorites served too. Get the cheese bread for sure!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Just finished a delicious pizza and salad dinner here at High Point! Cannot recommend this one more! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The main server guy went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was great.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Great pizza!! We got slices for lunch. One was the Napolitano, and the other was the Four Meat. Delicious and fresh ingredients. The crust is very good, too. HUGE slices! So big that I only ate half of the slice for lunch and took the rest home for dinner.
google avatar

Tonia C.

Yelp
This place has awesome pizza nice atmosphere and friendly!! The crust is seasoned, crispy outside and soft inside. I would say that this is one of my favorite pizza places now. We had the loaded pizza.
google avatar

Diane A.

Yelp
I don't often write reviews but when I do it's either really good or really bad. This is REALLY GOOD! What a hidden gem! I have been here several times and have not been disappointed. Their pizzas are delicious handmade thin crust with fresh toppings. Have had the meat lovers, margherita and one with Chicken (don't remember the name) Then I discovered the sandwiches. The Cuban is good, the meatball is amazing....and it's the bread that seals the deal. I tried the soup this week and it was like your grandma would make. These guys seem to enjoy what they're doing and it shows! Looking forward to trying one of the Thursday specials!
google avatar

Royce D.

Yelp
Great food, super nice people! Small little joint in historic area. The owner of the shopping center should seriously consider renovations to modernize this spot. Could be so much more!

Yelp
Outdoor dining is shaded in the late afternoon. I got the loaded pizza and it was terrific. Crust was outstanding, ample ingredients and cooked exactly right. Service was quick and friendly.
