I love this place and the staff that works there. All ice cream products are delicious and unique and have tons of variety so you never run out of trying something new. They are coming out with new Concepts all the time for a fairly new, local owned ice Creamery and that is great for Cobb County. I can't wait for more people to hear about them and carry their products in all stores and chains.

Picked up the Chocolate Chip Cookies and Cream Pint at Publix. I wanted to love this ice cream but there were barely any cookie pieces in the pint (the ones I did find were so small it still tasted like vanilla ice cream). The vanilla flavor was great but I didn’t just pay $5+ for a pint of vanilla ice cream. I think if they got their quality control together it could be better. Nothing is worse than finding your ice cream has zero mix ins/toppings as promised.

Wonderfully decadent craft ice cream. The 16% butterfat makes this ultra-premium ice cream have a thick and silky mouth feel. I love the sample size they serve. The sample is a full scoop of ice cream or sorbet, not the little tasting spoon you would receive from main stream ice cream shops. The tour was fun and informative. As for the other reviews of the Bourbon Burnt Sugar, well I bought a pint and I have to say that the pint I bought was very on point. The bourbon flavor was there, but you had to let the ice cream warm up a bit. Due to the way we taste flavors, if the food is cold the flavors will be muted. If you allow the food to warm a bit or in the case of this ice cream, allow it to melt a bit in the mouth then the bourbon and caramel flavors of the burnt sugar will be brought forward. If the flavors are so strong as to be tasted right up front then, more than likely they will be way over powering upon warming up.

I’m going to be honest. I love the ice cream but why is it so bloody hard to find it anymore? Any and all markets or stores that used to carry it no longer do and they all blame High Road for not delivering anymore. You need to start putting it back out in the metro area because while it is good, nobody will be driving 40+ minutes when they can grab some Ben and Jerry’s at the local Publix where High Road used to be.

High Road Bourbon Burnt Sugar sounded great, but I have had a better tasting and more flavor from a Dairy Queen road side soft serve. High priced crap on a good day. They may make it with the best ingredients but if it tastes like a lack luster vanilla who cares. Would have thought it would have a burnt sugar swirl or maybe even a bourbon burnt sugar swirl or other type of highlight. The base maybe good and the idea great but you have to have the stuff to make it happen and finish. Want good ice cream by the pint look anywhere else. Also notice the better ice creams are now making even smaller containers 14 ounces in stead of a pint to hide the price increases. They usually just add air so you get less but higher quality ice creams can't because their followers would notice in a heart beat. Watch the price per ounce so you don't get ripped off.

I was given a coupon for a free pint and I'm so glad I tried it! This ice cream is AMAZING, I love mint chocolate chip but their mint chocolate chip is by far my favorite! My husband despises mint chocolate chip, yet he can put away a pint of high road mint chocolate in just minutes! I have always been a bargain shopper but it looks like I'll be spending a little more on ice cream just so I can buy this brand!

The Saturday tour is awesome. Get samples of their newest flavors here. These people are passionate about their work, and it shows in their products. I can't wait to go again next weekend. Edit- As of March 20, 2015, they have changed their tours from Saturday morning to Friday afternoon 4 pm until 9 pm. If they have what you want in the sampling tray, but not in the freezer, they will hand pack a pint for you. Great customer service, and great people. Edit- As of Thursday, April 2, 2015 the factory tastings have been canceled. This is from their Facebook website. "It's time for us to closing our factory store for good, effective immediately. We need to seal our doors to comply with food safety standards and qualifications that will help us grow. (Thank you—we wouldn't have been able to grow without your support!) This doesn't mean we're turning into hermits: You'll see us around at store demos and special events, which we'll post. We hope you'll find us and say hello!"

Their ice cream is so smooth and outstanding. I am a truck driver and pick up loads for them. I would highly recommend the ice cream with the Blueberry Cheesecake. There is no other way to say than OMFG it's the bomb.
