High Season Pool Villa & Spa

We are on the last night of a 3 night stay at The High Season. So glad we booked as we have loved Koh Kood and really enjoyed our stay at this property. Firstly a massive thank you to head butler Nikky who works exceptionally hard to make sure His guests have a great stay! Also well done to Gift on reception, possibly the nicest human being you are ever likely to meet and a total credit to the hotel. Please recognise her great service! |We loved our room, the mid range pool villa, it was very well thought out and had everything we could possibly need. Liked the bathroom, the comfort of-the bed and the decor. |Cleaning was to a great standard, the food and drinks were excellent and the attention to detail like turndown service very pleasant. Breakfast was good too. |Drinks service sometimes a little too slow and I’d expect second offers of teas and coffees as standard in a 5 star hotel. |We had a tour of Koh Kood organised for us by Nicky and I had a spa treatment which was lovely. The Spa is great! |The beach is stunning too. |All in all a great visit, we will be back and highly recommend it.

Stayed here for 3 days in april , and the pool was great. I enjoyed the free infused water on the beach. Villas are very clean, and spacious bathrooms were massive all essential toiletries supplied. The beach is lovely one of the best I've visited in thailand, we used the complimentary kayak. The 241 drinks between 5-7 for sunset were great ... lots of local restaurants close by and night market a ten minute walk. All the staff were very friendly and complimentary transfer to and from the pier. Thank you we will return at some point...

We enjoyed our stay overall, though visiting during monsoon season did limit some aspects of the experience. For future guests, we'd recommend booking during high season to enjoy everything at its best||Our oceanfront room was absolutely lovely - beautifully designed with an extremely comfortable bed that made for relaxing nights. However, we did notice several areas where the experience fell slightly short of the 5-star standards we expected. The toilet had consistently weak flushing power, and while we did report the low shower pressure to staff, the issue unfortunately wasn't resolved during our stay. We also observed some opportunities for improvement in housekeeping , the bathtub needed more thorough cleaning seemed like it wasn’t being cleaned at all, the scented burner wasn't refilled as expected, and certain areas of the room didn't appear to have received proper attention during cleaning. ||Breakfast didn't quite meet our expectations , and while this might relate to low-season operations, we believe consistent standards are important year-round. The gym also needed more attention, with trash remaining from previous users. ||That said, we would consider returning because the room itself was so comfortable and well-designed, and we found the staff to be genuinely nice. With some attention to these maintenance and housekeeping details, this could be a truly excellent experience.

Very beautiful small upscale hotel. Overall, this was a lovely stay. Perfect for those wanting a "lay on the beach and chill" experience rather than adventure. Kind and gracious staff, great food and beautiful beach. If people want to go to Koh Kood, I would certainly recommend it as it was the most beautiful hotel we encountered during our time here. A bit overpriced. For this price class, certain details should not even be questioned—like the correct way to set the dishes on the table. The Thai menu could be more authentic and less Western-oriented. The air-conditioned training room was highly appreciated, as it made a significant difference in such a climate. All in all a good place.

Yep! This place is a dream spot. I wasn’t staying here but just used the facilities, chilled with my friends at the beach, drank beer and just relaxed. There’s access to a pool to cool off and not that I ate but my fiends dishes look exceptional. The service is speedy, staff are responsive, obviously residents and guest get priority but still we were well taken care off. There’s a pleasant atmosphere, it’s not pretentious, there are kids and families and locals all intermingled and the beach and views are mind blowing. It’s the best spot on the island if you want to watch the sunset.

The villa we booked was so nice, the beach was wonderful. The front desk service was great, the restaurant service was not great. Won’t go into details. Breakfast was a big hotel breakfast buffet not my vibe but people seemed to enjoy it. I got really bad food poisoning while staying there and had to go to hospital which the hotel helped sorted, they took care of me. The butler men was lovely and really went above and beyond. Location was great, beach was soooo good. Villa was nice I would come back.

Fantastic place. Great pool villas in a nice garden. Beach location is one of the best on the island. Staff is friendly and helpful. The happy hour is highly recommended. When you arrive by your own car you can park near the ferry pier and they offer a shuttle bus.
