Where To Eat And Drink In San Luis Obispo

"Located in a residential neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from downtown, this historical market and deli has been in operation since 1927, and is where the entire town congregates every afternoon. Expect big, well-made sandwiches (The Dutch Punch and Cal Turkey with hot sauce are our favorites), a great front and side patio, and a well-stocked beer fridge to keep that day-drinking going strong." - brant cox

High St Market and Deli is a delightful gem that excels in providing an exceptional sandwich experience. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of freshly baked bread and quality ingredients welcomes you, setting the stage for a satisfying meal. The deli’s ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a leisurely bite. The sandwich selection is impressive, showcasing a diverse range of flavors that cater to all palates. One standout option is the classic Reuben, featuring tender slices of corned beef piled high with tangy sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese, and a generous spread of creamy Russian dressing on perfectly toasted rye. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors that leaves you craving more. For those looking for something lighter, the turkey avocado sandwich is a must-try. Loaded with fresh, lean turkey, creamy avocado, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, it offers a refreshing contrast that doesn't skimp on taste. The house-made spreads add an extra layer of flavor that elevates even the simplest combinations. Service at High St Market and Deli is friendly and efficient, with staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make recommendations based on your preferences. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on-the-go or enjoying a meal at one of their cozy tables, you’ll leave satisfied and ready to return. Overall, High St Market and Deli is not just a place to grab a sandwich; it’s an experience that celebrates quality ingredients and great service. Highly recommended!

Google
Best quality deli sandwiches i’ve ever had was here. Every time i’m around SLO, I will make my way here to grab their delicious sandwiches. Turkey pesto, the one with prosciutto and roast beef is really good! Highly worth the drive! Nice cozy seating options too.

Google
Some of the best sandwiches you'll ever try, the atmosphere was friendly with amazing decorations and there very own merch as well! Do yourself a favor and if your passing by stop here for the best sandwich you'll ever have in your life! Beware order ahead for pick up wait times can go up to an hour or more!

Google
Best sandwiches in town. Good variety of sandwiches and salads. Fast friendly service. Nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal if you can find seating. Happy hour from 4:20pm to 530pm, sandwiches only $8.75.

Google
This travel pitstop was a delightful place for sandwiches. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was unique. Banking on its location on High Street and the name, this cute eatery gives very northern California vibes with its craft beers and cheeky decir. This place is really popular and we went right in the middle of lunch time, so we waited almost an hour for our order. We got a special blueberry jam inspired sandwich, a turkey loaded with avocado and jalapenos, as well as a loaded pastrami. All the sandwiches were yummy and we continued our trip happy and satisfied.

Google
Mouthwatering sandwiches that will make you fall in love with this place. The pastrami sandwich was absolutely delicious everything tasted so fresh and was incredibly filling. The staff were very nice and friendly. I loved the atmosphere and vibe from this place.

Google
Awesome place to grab a bite, especially after 4:20 when the prices drop to $8.50. Pick one of their preconfigured sandos on Dutch Cruch, and prepare yourself for a surprising flavor ride. By far the best Deli I've visited on the West Coast, with a nice outdoor dining area and friendly staff.

Google
Delicious sandwiches every single time without missing a beat. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I have ordered off the app and in person. I definitely recommend ordering online if you are getting food before going somewhere else. But if you are on a time crunch I would plan to wait for about 30 minutes give or take on how packed it is.

Yelp
High Street Market is awesome! We ordered inside and grabbed a table outside. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was fantastic! The food was out WAY faster than we were told at the register. I had a burger and it was not old massive, it was cooked beautifully and covered with great toppings. It was one of those meals you can't stop eating, even when you are crazy full. The staff was also very diligent about checking on us and clearing away the empty plates! I would gladly come back! Great food, great service!

Yelp
This place is good I don't know if it's worth the almost hour long wait though. Of course we waited because we've heard so much about it but I don't think we would wait that long again. I got the Dutch sandwich and my gf got the Italian. The avocado makes the sandwich for me if it didn't have it I don't know if I would have liked it as much. Dutch 8/10 Italian 7/10

Yelp
Went there in Dec, 28 First time that. 1) small store with outdoor seating (it has cover) 2) Employees are very nice and helpful 3) one of the best sandwiches I ever eat. Their sandwiches just amazing. Highly recommendated. Street parking is ok.

Yelp
THE go-to spot for sandwiches in SLO. Hearty, filling sandwiches with plenty of customization. The base sandwiches start at $12 and include "the works", including the tangy herby juice option. There are 2 exclusive vegetarian sandwiches in the menu with an option to sub the garden patty in some of their other creations. I opted for the build your own sandwich.. The avocado is free if you don't get meat. I got the "make it stoney" which is basically chef's choice. My sandwich came with pesto and crunchy, fresh carrots. The sandwich itself was dense, stacked high and great quality.

Yelp
This is always a staple when in SLO and will be the only thing I will miss when I graduate from Cal Poly. My go to order that is truly slept on is the west coast hoag on dutch crunch bread. Today, we came right at 11 when they opened and they said that our sandwhiches would take about 20-25 minutes to come out but they gave it to us in about 15. No seating inside but plenty of seating outside and they have a bathroom!
google avatar

Allene A.

Yelp
Worth the hype!! Hidden in a residential area so parking can get tricky/prepared to walk. Same with the wait time, but all worth it! Portions are amazing and quality is there. Def recommend getting the works or make it stony

Yelp
Quality sandwiches!!! 100/10 seriously loved this place. A SLO must visit. We always got the Chipotle beef sando (roast beef, melted pepper jack cheese, tomato, avocado, red onion, Chipotle mayo, on sourdough). Seriously the perfect sandwich with a good amount of each ingredient. So so worth the bang for your buck. This palce was so good we came back multiple times on our weekend staycation in SLO! Will def come back again when in the area. **Hot tip - sandwiches are discounted after 4:20pm til close. ***another hot tip - online ordering is also available and can set a time for pick up as well. Street parking only. There is outdoor covered/shaded seating next to the entrance which is also pretty cool.

Yelp
Awesome sandwiches, friendly employees, and a fun atmosphere. We had a great lunch at High Street Deli! We had the Dutch Punch and Tropical Vacation which were both fantastic.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and come to High Street Deli! I've been coming here for years and its quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots in the area. I love getting the Tropical Vacation on dutch crunch (but they run out of dutch crunch pretty early in the day) since I'm a fan of the sweet and savory combo. The sandwiches are perfect to take to the beach or for a picnic, but they have a cute outdoor seating area too. It can get pretty hectic and the wait can get really long (over an hour) so I recommend ordering ahead on their website or avoiding peak lunch hours. Their Los Osos location is a lot more spacious and calmer if you want to avoid the crowd. Both locations also offer a pretty sweet 420 deal - $8.50 sandos from 4:20pm to closing.

Yelp
Greeted by Nat! She was awesome. Our first time here! It was clear we were going to deal with a long wait time but it was easy peezy to order filling out your menu card. I took the high road and built my own. Not recommended for your first time; but hopefully reviews like this, should help you out. Grab a beer and chips for the wait, or order online if you're anti-social. Team members like Nat should help you through your mental anxiety to get what you want. Apprx wait time: 38 min. Trust in the High Street Crew. For added bonus: Buy a shirt, your sandwich is $5.

Yelp
A necessary stop in SLO! I love High street so much I brought my parents to try it. I've tried the Dutch, West Coast Hoag, Hot pastrami, and Italian sub. Each one is so distinct and flavorful. I haven't tried one that I didn't like. The wait can be pretty long depending on when you go. Prices are on the higher end, but the sandwiches are pretty big and I think they're worth it. Go after 4:20 for half-priced sandwiches!

Yelp
We waited over an hour for our sandwiches, and it ended up being well worth the wait! Soooooo good. We asked the girl at the register for some recommendations and she was really helpful. We ended up going with what she suggested-- Dutch Punch & the CPK. Not the typical type of sandwiches we would've chosen ourselves, but they ended up being awesome! Especially the CPK. We would've loved to try one of the pastrami sandwiches as well--maybe next time. Dutch crunch bread is fire. We happened to come on freshmen move-in day around 2pm, and it took over an hour to get our food. They warned us ahead of time, before we even got in line, but we wanted to try it anyway. Nice of them to give a heads up though! And like I said, we're glad we waited! Maybe we would try to mobile order next time just in case there's a long wait again. But even if there is a wait, we'd do it since we aren't in the area very often. Also worth noting that the wait time they had told us was super accurate.

Yelp
Love Sandwich but Shrinkflation!! I always get the Dutch Punch when I visit my kid. The bread and combination of meats, avocado, bacon and jalapeño cheddar is sooo good. Since 3 yrs ago, this sandwich has shrink by 1/3.

Yelp
Never did I ever think a deli sandwich could be so damn delicious! Why have I not discovered this place earlier?? On this trip to San Luis Obispo I happened to be staying down the street from this deli. I started reading reviews the first night and I had it bookmarked so how had this experience escaped me? I promptly rolled in for a sando yesterday and I have to say it was truly Outstanding. If I could give this place ten stars I would. We were greeted by the friendly staff, and they explained we could either order one of their sandos or create our own. You can order online or walk up and order like I did. I placed my order, went back to my place then returned about 20 minutes later and it was ready. One of the staff highly recommended the Dutch Punch. This beautiful creation was made with smoked turkey, extra bacon, jalepeño havarti, red onion, tomato, romaine, avocado, chipotle mayo, on Dutch crunch. I added extra avocado cause no place beats fresh California avocados. This is one of their more popular sandwiches and I can taste why. Normally I can only finish half a sandwich for lunch, but I easily consumed all of this goodness. They have so many other sandwiches I need to try but glad I started with this one. Here is a fun perk, they sell merchandise and if you buy a shirt then you get your sando for $5. Such a deal! They also offer daily specials featuring different sandwiches. They also offer two salads but clearly their talent lies in the creation of the sandos. Craft soda is available, plus beer, wine, cold brew coffee, teas and kombucha drinks. There are plenty of tables to sit at under a nice shaded patio. The location is easy to find and strictly street parking if you can find it. It gets very busy during the week from about 12-2pm. Weekends are even busier so try to come on a weekday if possible. I can't recommend this place enough when you are in the area. It is not to be missed.

Yelp
BEST SANDWICHES!!!! We came here while visiting and still think about the sandwiches often. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We stopped here during a long journey to SF. Fantastic Deli , best Sandwich I have had in many years. Don't miss this great spot. Inside tip , you can pre order online and miss the line!

Yelp
AMAZING! One of the best sandwich places I've eaten at.. ever! We arrived around noon and the place was packed! There is no inside seating but you walk inside to order, they have little pads of paper where you pick what you're going to order and you can customize it however you want. Then you take that to the counter and pay, give them your name and try and find a seat outside. Luckily we found a seat on the little patio area on the side. We ordered the special that day: KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Smoked turkey, bacon, sharp provolone, avocado, mayo, blueberry compote, red onion, arugula, HS chilis, tajin, Dutch crunch. One of the best sandwiches we ever had, all the ingredients worked well together and the different textures complemented the sandwich as a whole. Definitely returning when we visit again.
google avatar

Yelp
highly doubted that I'd ever give a sandwich a 12/10 rating... I mean its a sandwich. Bread and whatever is slapped inside. But absolutely not for High Street Deli... this sandwich was fully deserving of a 12/10 rating and didn't taste like a normal sub. It's jammed packed on a Sunday and we actually didn't have time to wait the 30 minutes to get one, so grabbed the premade ones. The Dutch Punch is stuffed full of bacon, turkey, avocado, spicy cheese, and was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. The actual restaurant reminded me a cool California surf shop - super cool and they have tons of sand-which options. We've already said if we're out that way again, 100% making a detour to go here again.
google avatar

Jerry H.

Yelp
Probably my favorite American sandwich shop. All the ingredients taste very fresh. The sauces also work very well with the rest of the sandwich. Also, the bread was very good
google avatar

Jovian L.

Yelp
Got the New York (heavy on the mustard but I liked it) and the High street Hooligan (Sunday special - recommend)! Definitely switch your sando bread for a Dutch crunch. The portions are generous! Came in on a Sunday @ 11:30am and had about a 45 minute wait for our sandos.
google avatar

Sergio R.

Yelp
I got the BLT on sourdough and the jalapeño popper on Dutch crunch, not every sandwhich deli carries dutch crunch! Service was smooth, walk in, fill out a form (lol) and then hand it to the cashier, if your not sure the cashiers will help you select something, there's also this deal where if you buy some of their merch, there's also sandwich is 5 bucks. There is seating outside, the location is kept clean, they also offer beer. It gets really busy, I walked in just before rush hour, some people had a 1 hour wait for their sandwich, wild, but at least they let you know before placing your order. And they walk down their line of customer to let them know of the wait time. Recommend
google avatar

Andy R.

Yelp
We ordered the Italian Sub expecting the best. Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed on the rocks of reality. The good: bread, meat, cheese The bad: the god awful dressing of mayo and mustard. The dressing was not only overpowering but it was disappointing and distracting. We could not taste the meal. How about a nice vinaigrette dressing with Italian seasoning so we can taste the food.
google avatar

Ms. Krystall M.

Yelp
Came back again while on my work trip with a different staff. We both ordered sandwiches chips and a drink. No matter the time they stay busy. I think we waited about 30 mins after ordering for our sandwiches. They were fresh and good tho. The ambiance is cool. Lots of college kids and retirees during the day. Will visit again when in town.

Yelp
3.5 stars for service, taste, and pricing practices. Prices were absent from the order forms and wall signage regarding the sandwiches, salads, sides, fountain drinks, alcohol, and snacks. Only sandwich add-ons had prices. For $34 after tax and tip, we got 1 full size New York (pastrami sandwich), 1 half size Build Your Own with no extras, and two fountain drinks. If I knew the prices beforehand, I'd have stuck with water for myself. The New York was very wet and messy to eat at the ends. I enjoyed the middle section with meat, bread, cheese, mustard, mayo, and pickle. They piled on more pickles than that of the Build Your Own, which made the sandwich a touch salty. The pastrami was great and tasted more like roast beef than the actual roast beef. It was meaty, flavorful, and not too salty, as I usually find pastrami to be. My Build Your Own sandwich was on sourdough. The bread had great texture (crunch and chew), but lacked sourness. I couldn't taste the jalapeno havarti at all. I was most disappointed by the thick-sliced roast beef, which was very bland. What a shame; the meat was soft and juicy! The ratio of bread to veg to meat was also not to my liking. While I sat at the table, I wished that I could go back in time, swap my roast beef for pastrami, and change my cheese. On the plus side, the ingredients were fresher than popular sandwich chains. The size was about the same. As a side note, the deli appeared to be a house that was converted into a restaurant. Street parking wasn't hard on a Thursday at 1:30 pm in the residential neighborhood. There was a friendly employee greeting people and explaining the menu to us. Only the Build Your Own can come as a half size sandwich. Certain breads, such as the Dutch Crunch, cannot be made into half size. You can write "hot" on your order form if you'd like the bread toasted and cheese melted. After giving our orders to the cashier and paying, we walked over to the shaded patio outside. When our order was ready, they brought it outside and called our name.
google avatar

Celeste N.

Yelp
Love these sandwiches! I came here in a whim after being in slo for a wedding and this was one of the first places to at popped up on Yelp. When I got there there was a large crowd outside hanging out and enjoying their food so that was a great sign. I created my own sandwich with turkey and bacon and everything on it and it was really good! My only downside was the 30-35 minute wait for a sandwich but it was a Sunday at lunch time. Other than that and the price ($20 for the sandwich and a bag of chips - no drink) I think it was a good staple to try out.
google avatar

Esther C.

Yelp
Sandwiches are huge. In a residential area. Pickles are amazing. Their merch is also super nice. We got a deal that buying a shirt got one of our sandwiches down to $5.
google avatar

K M.

Yelp
First time to High St and it was worth the wait! Super fresh bread, lots of choices for sandwiches and don't forget a big pickle! Friendly staff and now we know to order online if you want a certain pick up time. If you have time to wait find a spot on the patio and hang out if there's space!
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
Thee best sandwich spot around. Their signature bread is the bread of my dreams. I've come so many time and the food is consistent. There's a reason it's always so busy. For me this location is perfect for to go food while their Los Osos location is ideal for dine in!
google avatar

Roz C.

Yelp
I love this sandwich shop! It's definitely worth the wait. For me, the time waiting for my Sando (15 mins) seemed to go fast as the employees are super friendly. I love the decor ... definitely coastal and retro. It was a toss up between the Italian and pastrami. At the end of the day, I went for the Italian. The sandwiches are huge! Next time I will try the pastrami. It's awesome that the have daily specials as well as the 420 special where the prices are reduced. I ended up buying a T-shirt as I will be back. I didn't get to try the pickle as it was forgotten on my order. But I left a voicemail and they called me right away to resolve it! Awesome service and amazing sandwiches.
google avatar

Alayna K.

Yelp
Solid deli!! This place was super busy on a weekend afternoon. We waited 45 minutes for sandwiches which was the only bad thing. Service is nice! Our favorite was the pastrami but loved everything we tried. Would come back in a heartbeat!
google avatar

Jamie O.

Yelp
Was in the mood for something light and fresh due to the heat, and this was a perfect lunch! Super cute and easy to order, I got a fantastic salad and my partner got a sandwich - both came out within about 15 minutes of ordering. Will definitely visit again next time i'm in the area!
google avatar

Scott J.

Yelp
Walked in around 11:30am on a weekday, tried to order a sandwich and was told the wait would be about 30 minutes. I opted for something from the Grab & Go section as I didn't have that much time to wait. If the "Dutch Punch" is that great from a cold grab & go case I can only imagine how amazing this would be fresh. This Sando is packed with delicious turkey and cheese, loads of bacon, avocado, and just enough lettuce. Will definitely be coming back and will order ahead so I can enjoy it fresh.
google avatar

Leslie P.

Yelp
The hype is for real! I tried coming here around 12:30pm on a Saturday in May and that was a mistake! The wait was about 1.5 hours. Luckily the workers told us so I got out of line. Instead, I ordered online for pick up the next day. This is the way to go! The Dutch Punch was amazing!! It was so good that I ordered it again the next day to eat on the road trip back home. Their 420 deal is no longer $4.20 like back in my college days, for obvious reasons! But they still do the deal for $8.50, which is a steal nowadays. More sandwiches that I've tried are the California Turkey, Italian sub, California Roast Beef, and another with turkey, bacon & Brie, but I forgot the name of it. Everything that I've tried is amazing. Their meat and bread are made in house and you can taste the difference. I always have random cravings for this place constantly.
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
Cult classic in SLO. Love their tropical vacation sandwich the best. I hardly stray to anything else. It's just that good. Just be aware that they don't take phone orders anymore, it's all online. Pretty crucial to order in advance as they are THAT popular, and you'll be waiting at least an hour. There are also a lot of college students.
google avatar

Rheagan K.

Yelp
This is the best sandwich shop I've ever had in my entire life!!! I love high street deli so much. I haven't had it in over 5 years because I moved out of SLO, and I think about it weekly. No other sandwich shop can ever compare. I consider myself a sandwich connoisseur and I can confidently say I've never had a better sandwich than at High Street. I wish they had one in San Diego. I would go every single day!!!
google avatar

Ellianna D.

Yelp
SUCH a wonderful sandwich place, with an abundance of signature sandwiches, or the option to customize your own sandwich however you would like. The staff were also super helpful, explaining the ordering process to us, and very friendly. A word of warning: especially on a Saturday at Lunch rush, you will be waiting an hour for your sandwich to be made, because of how popular High Street is. In the future, I'd plan to order online right when they open at 11, and then just show up when the sandwich is predicted to be ready. If you have the time to wait, there is plenty of seating outside the deli, and you can get a bag of chips, a drink, or a dessert to snack on while you wait! Overall, I don't think a trip to Slo would be complete without a meal at High Street, so I'd say it is absolutely worth the wait. Just make sure to consider the timing so you have plenty of time to enjoy your freshly made sandwich :)
google avatar

Ashley Q.

Yelp
Always enjoy coming here. Packed as usual. Took about 20 minutes to get out - turkey sandwich. But so good. The sourdough seems to be baked there? nice amount of meat! And outdoor seating is limited so if you see a spot.. have another person grab it and wait. Cause that's what you will be doing. lol. Waiting for the best sandwich! everyone is really nice that works there. So that helps.
google avatar

D P.

Yelp
By far the best sandwiches on the coast, we take advantage of the specials as often as possible
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
No matter what time of day we come here it's always busy. I'm ok with that the food is excellent!
google avatar

Lila G.

Yelp
Worth the hype I would say. I have co workers who reside in SlO and a friend of mine who comes to SLO just for a Sammy. Everyone has raved about this place so I made sure to stop here on my visit. There was a bustling crowd of mainly college aged people. The place is small and cramped. You write your order on their fill in sheets and hand it to them. I built my own with turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, mayo and mustard on sourdough roll. Although, simple, it was jam packed and delicious. They don't skimp here. If I come back to SLO I will def stop by again for a sandwich before I hit the road back home!
google avatar

Fiammetta P.

Yelp
This place rocks! Stopped by while driving from Paso to LA and so happy we did. The sandwiches are on point and the treats they have delicious (it was a toddy, white and dark chocolate, peanut butter, sort of browny). After 4:20 everything is half priced, we unknowingly hit a home run on that promo! They have plenty of outdoor seatings and everyone there was very nice and helpful. Oh and they have a great beer selection with plenty of local brews. Great spot for a chill casual bite!

Yelp
This is the second time I've been lucky enough to come to Highstreet market and deli! Came all the way from San Diego on a trip to Monterey Bay. The last time I came was about two years ago and I loved it so much it was a must Pitstop on the drive back home. I absolutely love the Dutch Punch sandwich. The deli definitely uses high-quality ingredients. Anybody in this area should definitely give it a try! You can always tell the great quality of food based on the line, and it was packed with smiles left and right , and on New Year's Eve. This place was absolutely packed and it was 15 minutes before closing. Staff is friendly! And the dining experience has fire pit and good music all around. I would recommend this to any tourist that needs a pitstop. And don't forget the name people, the Dutch Punch sandwich
google avatar

Myles K.

Yelp
Everyone recommends this place and for good reason! Some of the best, if not the best sandwiches on the central coast.. Any dutch crunch bread is a win in my book. All ingredients were fresh and high quality. There are some good flavor combo's too. It gets really really busy so keep that in mind and it's worth scheduling an order online if possible. Service is friendly and prompt though to order but takes a bit to get your sandwich at busy times. Also this location is pretty small too and seating is limited. Taking it to-go is probably a good option if you're able to. I'm pretty sure anything on the menu is gunna be fantastic. I'll always try to stop here when passing through if I can!!

Yelp
The sandwiches are delicious and always prepared well, see the photos. The service is amazing and friendly. I love the ambiance inside and the outdoor seating with the street view is nice. I had the Dutch Punch sando, salt & pepper chips and a mint tea. I also picked up a couple of stickers. If you are in the neighborhood do not pass up this experience.

Yelp
This market & deli is located in a residential area, we decided to try this place out after our hotel front desk staff stated that this place has the very best sammich in SLO!! High Street Market & Deli started way back in 1927, it was the community store for the neighborhood, they sold milk, butter, tobacco plus fishing gear. Now days they sell the most delicious and huge sandwiches which are freshly made from scratch. We ordered, two build your own smoked turkey sandwiches with the works, a side order of patato salad along with a big pickle. The inside deco is more like that of old school vintage vibes, with old signs, plus they sell merchandise inside from hats, t shirts, mugs, hoodies along with other accessories. The staff was very nice, we had staff check on us twice in the patio to make sure we ok or needeed anything. Since leaving that day I had the opportunity to talk to the manger Jacob who was aslo so kind and very helpful. I would definitely, "HIGHLY" recommend "High" Street Market & Deli.

Yelp
I hit this place up every time I am in SLO. Sandwiches are on point. The vibe is cool and the staff is friendly. Today I had the "Dutch Punch" sandwich and it was on point. I will only warn, these sandwiches may be challenging to eat in the car, like I tried today. But, flavors were on point and always a good deal. Just pull over and eat your sandwich. You'll be happy.

Yelp
Sandwiches were amazing! So much flavor and the portions are more than generous. Would go there again and again. I will say that it was very busy so expect a bit of a wait. But I thought it was worth the wait.

Yelp
Just visited yesterday for the 1st time and was thoroughly impressed, I can see why they have the notoriety. We got there right when they opened and the line was already pretty lengthy but they had friendly staff attentively coming through and making sure everyone knew to use the order sheet etc. once we got in the deli itself there was so much to look at so the wait wasn't problem. It was probably an hour from when we in line to getting the sandwich so just keep that in mind if you're in a rush, or what seemed to be the pro tip of calling in your order. I went with the Spring Club and loved it. Anytime I'm going back in that direction I'm going to make it a point to make it back
