High Water Festival Provided a Range of Tastes for Charleston Music Lovers | Eater Carolinas

"Wrapping up its third year, I found the High Water Festival to be a pretty well-oiled machine with the formula down pat: great music, great food, and so-so beer that nevertheless made for happy festivalgoers. Maybe it was the perfect weather, because everyone was just so damn nice. The lineup mixed Charleston staples (Lewis Barbecue, Roti Rolls, Verde) with out-of-towners like Corndog Inc. and Hebros Kitchen, so there was something for everyone — even my gluten-free, vegan friend. Despite the festival's big focus on sustainability, the recycling/trash situation was confusing and inconsistent; I heard people quip, “Is this trash or recycling? Doesn’t matter, it’s all the same thing,” which left me hoping there was a volunteer sorting through flower crowns and beer cans afterward, though I suspected otherwise." - Eater Staff

I highly recommend attending this event next year - it is truly one of a kind! There was a fully stocked bar, a grand stage featuring incredible performers, numerous retail and food truck vendors, and an atmosphere filled with laughter and enjoyment, it's an experience unlike any other! We had the pleasure of participating as a vendor with our 360 Photo Booth and it was a delight meeting everyone and enjoying the fantastic performances. The event staff and the overall atmosphere were simply unmatched!

High Tide was SO fun. As someone who loves music festivals but hates the chaos that tends to come with them, High Tide was perfect. Going to the bathroom was no problem, and you could walk back and get right back to the same spot you were at before. There was no shoving or mosh pits everyone was just happy to be there. The artists all killed it. The food trucks were SO GOOD and I loved all of the local vendors that were selling their stuff in cute tents. The bar also offered fun cocktails and getting a drink was super quick! The silent disco was also amazing, such a genius concept. It’s an incredible value for the ticket price and I can’t wait to go back this year.

This event was way over hyped. Worst festival I have been to! It was just a bunch low rate DJ's. I have been to house parties that were better than this. The staffing was very unorganized and rude. Save your money go to any other festival but High Tide. I wish I could give zero stars
