Highgarden

The Highgarden was awesome!!! We went here for my wife’s birthday. Everything was top notch and well done from the coordination with the event planner to the attention and service from the manager and staff. I booked a VIP package and the food and drinks were excellent. They even offered to cut the cake I brought and light the candles. The music and mood were great and the views, spectacular. Most importantly, my wife loved her birthday party. Will definitely consider for our next event.

High garden is the place to be on any weekend! Fantastic atmosphere and wonderful music. Has a beautiful view on the roof top of the sky and a great view of downtown. We had the best servers in the world Paul and Lorenzo they are phenomenal! They always make us feel welcome and they have the brightest smiles! Never a bad time at high garden!

Place is dope. Food is great, great music that you don't hear everywhere else, and cool staff.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Daniela, and I must say, she is truly exceptional at what she does. From the moment I approached the bar, Daniela greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor that immediately made me feel welcome. Her knowledge of cocktails and drink recommendations is impressive. I was unsure of what to order, but Daniela took the time to ask about my preferences and suggested a cocktail that turned out to be fantastic. She clearly has a deep understanding of mixology and takes pride in crafting each drink with care. What stood out the most was her efficiency and attentiveness, even during a busy night. Despite the crowd, Daniela managed to serve drinks promptly without compromising quality. She maintained a great balance between being quick and engaging with customers, ensuring everyone felt attended to. Moreover, Daniela's professionalism shone through in how she handled a slightly difficult customer with patience and grace. She diffused the situation calmly, ensuring the rest of the patrons could continue enjoying their evening without disruption. Overall, Daniela's exceptional service, friendly attitude, and expertise make her a standout bartender. I highly recommend experiencing her top-notch service firsthand. I came in close to close on Sunday Night. This was cute, I liked it. The rooftop probably is great when it is not cold as I really couldnt feel the heaters. They were kind enough tp let me chill in their bar downstairs even though it was closed

Nice, open, well decorated spot for drinks and snacks. Get the corndogs. All of the food was good, but eating corn dogs with your friends as an adult pairs nicely with a bottle of wine, or 3.

I have never had a bad experience with Daniela as a bartender. She is great with customer service, and seems very attentive. I came in on a slow night and she made the night with her welcoming personality! Definitely recommend coming and seeing her!

Evan is a great guy he treated my brother and I so good since it first got open the drinks he made was super awesome.

Located at the rooftop level about Botanical Lounge is the new Highgarden. Part lounge, part event space, you've got a lovely view of Glenwood South, cabana areas, greenery and plush outdoor furniture to lounge on. One large bar serves the patio and you've got a shared food menu with Botanical lounge, not starting until 10/6 Overall a cool and secluded spot. More to come...

Located above the botanical lounge, this rooftop offers a great view of Glenwood and a cozy well decorated spot to hang out, enjoy the weather and some company. There's a good amount of open seating ranging from couches to high tops, fire pits, and heaters so it's still quite enjoyable with a good weather allowance. The music adds some fun to the ambiance, and the service was all quite friendly and prompt. Would recommend.

This place is magical at night even during winter time. They offer drinks and food and they are amazing!! We had a wonderful time ringing in new year and celebrating a friend's birthday!

Very cool atmosphere and solid drinks but I have to give this 1 star due to the slime ball employees. They tried to scam me. They double charged me for drinks and claimed that they do not accept chase because of fraud. How dumb do they think people are, chase/visa is accepted almost everywhere. These hooligans proceeded to charge the card and then asked for cash and took advantage of a situation they knew they could get away with. Avoid the bartender on the top floor as he is unethical. High garden should take disciplinary action against this rogue employee, otherwise they are enabling thieves. Shame on you. Avoid this place at all costs!

My friends and I received prompt and polite service from Isaac! He truly helped celebrate her birthday! And the drinks were incredible.

Have been here twice now and it definitely has a really cool vibe! The down stairs is called botanical lounge and the upstairs (via stairs or an elevator) you will find High Garden! The have fire pits and heaters which makes it still useable in the winter time. Most of the seating is around each rectangle fire pit so if you are a smaller group and want to sit there you may need to share with another group. Drinks are decent you wines and beers are decently priced. I felt like the cocktails were a little pricey for what they were but still decent tasting drinks. They do have staff walking around that can take orders when sitting which helped to not clog the bar up. Service was timely and despite how busy it was they always found time to circle back and check on us. The over all atmosphere is good and fun for a night out.

I don't EVER write reviews but I went to two different bar tenders and they both ignored us and went to someone else who CLEARLY came after us. So I went to the manager and he didn't give a shit and said just wait so I waited longer and no one still came. First time here, last time here.

So we planned to go to Highgarden but the third floor wasn't open due to the rain, only the first floor. The first floor is HOT! Like did I go to hell hot? I asked if the air was on and they said because of the layout(?) it's hard to cool the space. I feel like if you can't provide air conditioning in the summer time in NC you shouldn't be open but that's me. I tried most of the menu along with sangria pitcher and gin and tonic tree. The fries were good and the beef sliders were good everything else was just okay. The service was okay the person behind the bar seemed new and I'm not sure if there was actual table service or not but two waiters and a manager(?) stopped by our booth/space to help us out. I would go back if the rooftop was open or they updated/fixed the AC bc it was ridiculously hot.
