Found this spot while looking for a little down time on a weekend trip to Atlanta. Ended up returning another two times before the weekend was over. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The owner and staff were very friendly. The cigar selection was adequate and included several of my favorites. There were plenty of comfortable couches and numerous TVs. The ventilation system was very effective; there wasn't a noticeable haze or smell of stale smoke. Overall, was one of my favorite parts of our trip and I will definitely return if I go back to Atlanta.

We didn't try food because the kitchen was closed when we arrived. No biggie, we'll give the food a try the next time. Drinks were good. Bartender wasn't the nicest, but hey, we didn't sit at the bar, so the interaction was short. Cigar offerings were plentiful, so there were no complaints there. We'll be back.

My favorite cigar bar in Atlanta. Always a vibe. Good music. Excellent selection especially the cigars from Colombia and Nicaragua. Nice crowd. Grown and Sexy.

Came to ATL for a quick getaway! This was on my list to support. We had a great time. The service was great. The drinks were great the cigars we’re good they had a very small variety. However, they also don’t offer torches. They offer matches… not too fond of lighting my cigar with matches, but it was a great vibe. Everybody was having a good time. They have plenty of TVs to watch sports or whatever you wanna watch and I have a full bar which was awesome and again the service was amazing so I will definitely be back when I come to Atlanta.

Always a good vibe any day of the week. Great food, cocktails and beer. Excellent humidor that's reasonably priced👌. Plenty of tv's for an event/game. A great gathering spot for novice or seasoned smokers. Manny and staff always make me feel welcomed. The ladies love it too lol Keep up the good work guys. Not a bad looking lounge, but a very small humidor and half of the boxes were empty.

Katy was awesome. She provided excellent service and had a great personality. Belinda was great too. I will definitely become a regular now.

Good selection of cigars. Pick up the ATL Black cigar if you want something local. Wonderful neighborhood with lots of shops and fantastic food if you need noms before smoking a cigar. Great selection of whiskys, including their Japanese whiskys. I also tried the Sweetwater lager draft beer. Booze may be a bit more than you'd want to spend if you're not wanting to Lounge is huge and well designed. Front bar is also huge. Staff is super friendly... and looks like the locals love this place, from what I saw and some I talked to. Definitely visit this one first before any other cigar lounges in the ATL.

Very cute cigar lounge in Atlanta. The area is super trendy and busy. We stopped in yesterday as we wanted to cigar and chill. It was pretty relaxed in there. The game was on and the music was good. We bought our own cigars in to smoke. We asked for a torch and they only have matches??? So, I took off a star. A box of matches to light. Stick ?? No way! The drink were ok.... I had a hennessy side car but sent it back. I opted for a lemon drop. The place didn't seem to have food . So, as Left go get food. If you are a single person and wanna know where the men are, it's a great place to hang out and chill. The men definitely outnumber the women .

Nice spot that's open late. Easy to walk to the parking deck right around the corner. Our waiter was really nice and you can easily buy cigars if you left yours at home. Drinks were reasonably priced. As someone who doesn't get out of work sometimes until around 11pm, it's nice to be able to head somewhere that's open late during the week. There are a few couches and a couple TVs to watch any game that might be on. Even wrapping up at close to 1pm, everyone was really cool and didn't feel like we were being rushed out.

Super Bowl Sunday, awesome. As is every time I visit. Great scotch, rum and cocktails.

So I will say that this area is good, the location is a block or two but it has plenty of things to walk to. Super close to the beltline, it's basically the next block over. Now when you focus on the cigar bar, cigar bar is okay. The staff and the bartenders aren't super amazing, nice enough though. You may have to wait a while, but not a big deal. Anywhere I go I typically go for an old fashioned, and this was a little bit disappointing. Even the rest of my party said that it wasn't the smoked old-fashioned that we had been requesting. It seems like everybody mixes their drinks differently, but it was noticeable. We had been there before so we had something to base our opinion on as far as the drinks go. Maybe this bartender didn't have a great night, who knows. But it's not the end of the world! The cigar selection is pretty decent, pretty decent indeed. But the real main event for me, are the wings. These might be the best wings in the city in my humble opinion. And I've had wings and a myriad of places in Atlanta area! You can get you a drink, smoke, and order a 10-piece wing and you will be satisfied for the night! The lemon pepper is amazing. The garlic parmesan is the truth! The orange jerk, my goodness! It has the right amount of heat on it to make the wings dancing your mouth when you eat them! I don't need to smoke, I don't need to drink, but I do need those wings often and consistently lol! I've eaten there and never been disappointed! The garlic parmesan, you can see the build above the garlic and the parmesan on the wings, it's not lightly dusted, it is bathed in it. Lemon pepper has that Wing look with a yellow Hue because they are really peppering the hell out of that lemon and throwing it on the wing! Actually, I haven't had a flavor Wing there that I didn't like! So yes this is the champion moment for the cigar bar, but honestly not for the cigars. You have some nice cigar selections, I will admit that. The drinks will not astound you, but the wings should!

They definitely upgraded the terrible servers they once employed. I stayed away from this spot for a min because of the terrible service. Glad to see them turn things around for the better. It's back in my cigar spot rotation.

I didn't have any food here but I did have my first cigar. It was a chill atmosphere with a few tv's on. Definitely a vibe if you and your friends or significant other like cigars and want to chill. I will say the smell does transfer. I had to wash my hair and clothes immediately after coming here but I figure that's part of the experience. I'd go back for another cigar and maybe ask some more questions. Apparently there are different cuts you can do on the tip, who knew.

I enjoyed my visit thoroughly. Some of the other cigar bars in the Atlanta area are predicated on a level of pomposity or pageantry. I have been to cigar bars that have Lamborghinis and Bentleys parked out front or require a level of dress that requires an extensive effort to achieve. That is not to say that this place is low brow. It is a fine environment with a decent variety in their walk in humidor and their extensive bar. But when I walked in I felt immediately at ease and their friendly and relaxing environment gave me the opportunity to do what I really wanted... to simply sit down and enjoy a good smoke and a nice single malt without the pressure to make a great deal of effort to fit in. I really wish this place was closer to my neighborhood. If it were I would certainly be a regular.

Nice black owned cigar lounge. I've been here a few times and its always a good vibe. The bartenders make great cocktails and the music is great. I've never tried the food but every cocktail I've ever gotten here has been nice. The biggest con is that the ventilation isnt great. However, still a reccomended cigar lounge for a nice evening. I also love how walkable the neighborhood is.

This cigar lounge is a great place to either work remotely while enjoying a nice cigar and libation or during the evening to enjoy smoking with friends and drinking one of their nice whiskeys. I like that they have enough TV screens to watch sporting events and seating as well. They have a nice cigar selection to choose from as well.

We were visiting Atlanta for a concert and was looking for a cool cigar place. My sister and I are beginners at smoking cigars so it was nice to have someone knowledgeable to help us. The drinks were great too! The prices were reasonable, the only issue I had was not really with the lounge but that Uber couldn't find the place. Would definitely visit again if I go to Atlanta.

Absolutely phenomenal. Trish and Chai killed the service and kept everyone happy. Great place to have a cigar and craft cocktails. They really take pride in their job

My bf and I was in search for a nearby cigar bar after having brunch at Ponce City Market and came across this place! It has great reviews so we decided to give it a try. You can seat yourself and order at the bar. It wasn't too crowded and the bartender answered our questions in reference to cigars! The vibe and ambience was exactly what we were looking for. We plan on returning with some of our friends.

Top notch establishment. The humidor isn't huge but there is a good selection. It's right off the belt line so there is a ton of other stuff to do in that area also. This is a good place to finish the night. There was a pretty good scotch and drink selection, a very lengthy list. Service to tables was kind of slow but I don't think that should affect the rating as it's covid and no one works. I think it was like two people serving all the tables and tending to the humidor. Prices aren't bad, right in par for a place like this in the city, not a huge food selection but who goes for the food lol. There are a lot of big screen tvs and comfortable seating. This is also a good place to watch the game. Overall good experience, I will be back.

I had a fantastic experience visiting Highland Cigar Company! This cigar bar offers an impressive selection of cigars to choose from, making it a perfect spot for cigar aficionados. The atmosphere of the bar is also excellent and creates a relaxing environment to enjoy a good smoke. In addition to the great selection and atmosphere, the prices are also very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of the experience. The bartender/host were amazing and incredibly helpful, providing excellent recommendations and making sure that my groups experience was top-notch. Overall, Hiland Cigar Company is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great cigar bar with excellent selection, atmosphere, and service.

The humidor selection could be better, however, the atmosphere is great. The food is good, alcohol selection is great, and the staff is wonderful.

Giving it 4 stars because I am a woman in Atl and cigar bars are where the straight men are but baby this new guy Manny is a mess and a seems like he's on a drug. My friend asked for help and he told him "I don't teach men, I show them" like sir what. I come here often enough to know the people... We still had fun and laughed a lot but. Goodnight.

So excited to come here as a recommendation. Complete disappointment!! The humidor not at the right temp and empty. The service was horrible. The first place no one spoke or welcomed you. I was told there were no torches, in a CIGAR BAR. The beer was warm. We asked for water 3 times and never got it. Oh well!

Cool spot and the drinks are always spot on. I'm not really a cigar person but my spouse is and the environment is chill so we come often. The nachos are normally our go to. They never seem to disappointment. The service is good too and they normally have sports on so that's always a plus. Good location and a mixed crowd. I like the grown folks atmosphere no drama.

Highland Cigar is in Inman Park; located on the second level so you have to climb up a good bit of stairs. I didn't see an elevator or wheel chair access which is unfortunate. Inside there are plenty of places to sit- the bar, table tops, and comfy leather couches. After picking our seats we went into the room where the cigars are held. The choices were slim and there were a couple of empty boxes where cigars should have been. I wish an employee would have been there to help with choosing because I ended up picking one that i wasn't a huge fan of. After choosing the cigar you can go over to the bar and have them cut it for you. They were having a special on a flight of three whiskeys and cigar but we opted not to get the flight. There are boxes of matches at each table, the first box of matches we picked up was empty, but feel free to grab a full one and light up. Overall, the ambience was very relaxing and the drinks were great! I didn't notice a food menu so definitely eat before.

The establishment seemed promising at first, but unfortunately, the cigar selection was quite disappointing. The humidor was small and poorly stocked, with mostly tiny cigars available. It felt more like a cigarette bar than a place for cigar enthusiasts, and they didn't cater to larger gauge cigar smokers. As a result, I decided to leave and look for a better spot to enjoy my cigars.

I can see style wise why this place would be popular. Me and my friend started with a cigar. We also ordered drinks and food. The waitress was great but it was kinda confusing as there was also a waiter who supposedly helping us but I'm more then positive he was higher then a kite. Even though he thought he was hiding it-he was not. I got the shareable steak tacos. The steak was finely chopped and I enjoyed them. But as they were 3 small ones I didn't understand how they qualified as shareable. I also enjoyed the chips and salsa. I'd definitely say this is a good group vibe place.

Love this place! The cigars are priced nicely. The ambience is on point for a cigar lounge. And YES the wings are fire.

Whenever I'm in town I make this one of my pit stops located in the cool highland area of Atl. Great Vibez and top notch service. They spin the best cuts out of the nineties and they drinks are done right. Definitely one of the better cigar establishments in the Atl plus you can come as you are.

I'm not a cigar smoker, but I like to eat & drink. My husband loves cigar and says that their selection is great. This is a place has a great " man cave" feel to it. We tried a few different dips and other apps. Wings were good and so were the pretzel bites Food: not fresh, but yummy! Environment: loud and fun Music: loud and goes well with the environment Service: quick, but a bit cold- Am I spoiled for wanting a server that smiles and don't walk away before everyone at the table can place an order?! Tip:Look into getting a locker if you like the cigar scene. Even though I don't smoke, I still had a great time !

I mean this place is decent. I'm sitting down as we speak, smoking and watching some NCAA. I'm currently smoking a Regius which is a light blend and I'm pairing it with Bulleit Rye. Honestly I thought this place was going to be better. Now I'm sure it's different at night when people start to pack this place and I can totally see a huge difference. Right now it's early noon and it's kind of bland. They play great music to where you can dance to it and I love the fact that there's flat screens everywhere with great comfy seating. I totally dislike their cigar selection. These are brands I've never heard of but the prices are great. There is a limited supply of cigars here; better off going to a smoke shop or liquor store that have better cigars. This place is great for big groups and basically having a great time socializing. This is a huge plus! The reason why I gave this a 3-star was because of the selection of cigars. Not what I'm used to. But I will say this is the best cigar bar with lounge in all ATL!

Highland Cigar Bar is a great place to mingle and enjoy a nice cigar and a drink. The downside is they need more help. Literally for about 2 hours on a Thursday night there was one person working both the cigar room, the bar, and the tables! I also ordered the guacamole that was listed on the menu to be told that they didn't have guacamole. The good news is they are expanding so excited to see how they evolve As for now, this definitely is not a place to eat...just drink, socialize, and make new friends!

Always a great time when I visit Highland cigar bar. Every time I have visited the experience is always a pleasant and memorable one. Every time I have come it has been for a meeting of simply to catch up with an old friend. Great place to network and meet some great people in Atlanta.

It's so funny, when you pre-judge a lil bit. Driving up to this shop, seeing the area it was in, I was totally not expecting what lay before me...cause I'm an idiot. This cigar shop and bar are pretty amazing. I always love a cigar shop that's spread out, with comfortable chairs and couches, so that you could bring in a healthy-sized group, or just be able to have a smoke with a friend. Also love that they have a ton of TVs. My buddy and I sat there and watched college football, smoked cigars, had some libations...for a lil too long. They have a decent selection of cigars to choose from, and a very healthy range of cocktails and liquor. I was able to try some cigars I've never had before, which I love.

Our visit was amazing! Cyndey provided extraordinary service. She's extremely hospitality and made us well welcome. We will always make a return visit after her service to us. Thank you.

A casual cigar bar with an extensive whiskey selection. Draft beers on tap as well. There aren't many cigar lounge in Atlanta. You can bring your own smokes or have the server show you their humidor and help you pick out a smoke. The humidor is well stocked but nothing like a tobacconist. You will find a good smoke, just not all the rare and hard to find cigars. The cigars are reasonably priced. I picked up a Don Pepin Blue Imperiales for $12. A hefty , dark, full bodies figurado smoke. It was kept in proper condition. Somebody here is paying attention to maintaining the right conditions in the humidor. Which is a very good thing. Settled down to a high table and service arrived promptly. The lounge is rather loud and if you choose to mingle, you can just strike up a conversation with the many other cigar smokers. There is also a nice bar should you choose to spend some quality time with yourself and perhaps watch the game on the telly. Parking may be a challenge. Just plan to drive around for a bit to find a spot.

Such a nice experience yesterday! Stopped in to buy a few cigars for Christmas presents and decided to purchase one for myself to enjoy with a drink. One of the best Old Fashioned's I've had in a long time. The lounge area is spacey, with plenty of TVs. The couches are extremely comfortable, and the bartender's service was 10/10. We will definitely be back!

A very nice cigar bar located in the highlands... probably not going to be a review worth too much since I don't smoke cigars, but I can say, the staff was very informative and helpful when it came to knowing the cigars and the taste. I was watching... the bartender was very knowledgeable and well versed as well.

Honestly the environment is okay and, there is a very impressive selection of mid to high priced liquor and beers. Unfortunately, due to a lack in staffing and extremely slow service I can honestly say I would never recommend this location. Also may I add that on average most cigars in the humidor are running 3-6 dollars more than normal pricing. Also I don't know how this place conducts ventilation but, honestly a ceiling fan would pull more smoke out then what these guys have. You would have thought the bar was on fire and we were only there when it was moderately busy. The only thing that made me give the spot a three stars was they offered a well kept De Cuba. Generally speaking the humidor offers a minimal amount of choices that would make even the most novice smoker chuckle. All in all if your in a pinch I guess you could visit but, don't expect a wow factor that will have you coming back for more.

Where do I begin? This was our second stop after drinks and tapas. Didn't realize that ESPN Boxing would be on with Manny Pacquiao! Get the waitress to give you access to the humidor or bring your own cigars. They will punch/clip and have lots of matches, lighters and torches on hand. Good music, diverse crowd but majority Black folks. Some guys were playing poker and were in their own corner. My Credit card was used by one of the FORMER employees to buy her self a flight. I notified the Business and the GM got back to me and we worked through the issue together. The employee is now a former employee.

If I could change one thing about the cigar lounge it would be the ventilation. I've been at other lounges where the smoke was ventilated such that when I left I didn't smell like gun powder. I'm sure implementing such a system would be costly but I think it would be an overall beneficial thing for customers and the servers. I'm sure the servers have great difficulty not smelling like smoke everyday. Less than a decade ago I used live right across the street from the cigar bar. Back in those days parking was free and ample. The cigar bar was also a bit different as well. New management brought a new vibe (less of a vibe). It's not the social lounge I remember. I felt rushed to choose a cigar and order a drink. I was looking for a little expertise in making my cigar choice but no one seemed engaging or knowledgeable. Luckily, a fellow customer was a cigar connoisseur a gave some good advice. I think the cigar bar should incorporate things like whiskey tasting nights, or have a cigar rolling class or maybe get live jazz music if the HOA would allow it. Make it a mature bachelor party destination.

Omg what the fuck.....as you can see in not only the duke of this place but a member and I can say from first hand experience this place has changed....and not in a good way. Under the new leadership of Mr. Johnson the place gas regressed. Loss of vibe, reduced stock.and disappointed regulars. Please oh please let Brian come back and bring Michele w you..... My visits will be few until something changes.

I'm a member of the lounge and come here 3-4 times weekly. It's basically my home away from home. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. The drink selection is great, staff who work there are knowledgeable, and remember your name when you come in. Cigar selection keeps rotating, so I pop into the humidor every week or so to check out their new goods. You can also bring in your own cigars with no cutting fees; They basically just want you to enjoy your time there as much as possible. I sometimes bring clients here and the hospitality Highland shows is unmatched. I mostly go in the daytime or weekday evenings because I prefer a quieter smoke. Starting Thursday evenings you'll experience a bigger crowd, though there are a lot of regulars and the atmosphere remains relaxed and service remains impeccable. I've been to most of the cigar lounges in metro Atlanta, and you won't find a cigar lounge with or without a bar that's more welcoming and comfortable. I'll be moving out of Atlanta soon, and this is the place I'll miss the most.

When you looking for a good selection of sticks and a casual atmosphere this place does the job. You don't have to be a member and you don't have to know a secret code. We got the dry rub wings and gooey nachos. The bartender, Morgan, makes a good drink. A little loud for my taste, but appropriate for a Friday night.

Nice chill spot to hang out and watch the game. They have every type of cigar and drink you want. I like coming here to watch games on the weekend.

I've been looking for a cigar lounge that took me to a place of refuge and Highland Cigar Co was just that to me. The location has wonderful ambient lighting along with ample seating arrangements for whatever extracurricular activities while you enjoy your stogies. There is a card table, plenty of plush leather couches and bar seating if you would like to enjoy your drink and sit back to enjoy a game or two. There is also a table for chess and checkers The bartender is very welcoming and knowledgeable when it comes to her craft. The waitresses are also extremely helpful when going in to the humidor and selecting a cigar that is right for you on that particular occasion. The also give extensive knowledge on what would be the best cut for the type of cigar that you have and the way that it is rolled. The crowd is a friendly bunch and create the icing on the cake for the perfect atmosphere and vibe. Overall i enjoyed the times i've come here and I've met some awesome people as well.

Highland hosts a pathetic humidor and terrible servkce. As an avid cigar smoker, I couldn't have been less disappointed. The bartender wouldn't allow me to carry my cigars out of the humidor and took 10 minutes to get them to me. Drinks arrived another 10 minutes later and were wrong. Please understand, our drinks were just whiskey on the rocks. With all of the cigar options in ATL, don't bother with this place. Two thumbs down.
