"If you’re looking for a good pregame spot before a Dodgers game, HPB’s newer location in Chinatown is a great option. Highland Park Brewery has been one of LA’s best craft breweries for a while, but the original location is pretty small. The new spot across the street from LA State Historic Park is in a nice big warehouse space and has a dog-friendly patio, so you can roll in with a big crew and their four-legged friends without a problem. The bar snacks are also way better than they need to be (get the cheese curds)." - brant cox, nikko duren
"“Every time I see this movie about a fantastically epic pub crawl, it makes me want to crack a beer. Or, as the plot gets crazier and crazier, like 17 of them. Fortunately, Highland Park Brewery has their beer pick-up system down pat, and even delivers to most areas of the Eastside - check out their Instagram for more details. So I highly recommend stocking up on some insanely fresh beer (I went last week and got some four-packs that had literally been canned that day) - go for the Hello, LA (a clear, pine-forward West Coast IPA) and the America’s Preference, a crisp, dry, extremely drinkable pils.” - BK" - brant cox, kat hong, brett keating, james montgomery
"Located in a converted warehouse across the street from LA State Historic Park, Highland Park Brewery Chinatown is twice the size as its original space, with plenty of tables for big groups, a dog-friendly front patio, and a dedicated tasting room inside. Their bar snacks are pretty limited, but way more delicious than they need to be (get the cheese curds). If you love beer or just have a few hours to spare, this is where you should be drinking before a Dodger game." - sylvio martins
"Chinatown’s Highland Park Brewery opened back up the beginning of October with a socially distant patio on Spring St. Their beers are fantastically consistent, so any choice will be a good choice - their flagship Timbo Pils and Hello LA are great places to start if it’s your first visit. And their new pimento cheese-slathered burger is a winner, if you’re looking for a full meal." - brett keating
"The popular brewery is currently offering daily produce boxes from their Chinatown location. They sell out extremely fast, so definitely keep an eye on their Instagram as that’s where they’ll post about it first. And then pick up some West Coast IPAs while you’re at it." - brant cox
