"Occupying a sprawling corner of one of Dallas’s busiest thoroughfares, Highland Park Village has been reigning supreme over the Dallas shopping scape since the '30s—in fact, it was the country’s first shopping center and gained historic landmark status because of that. It also has to be one of the country’s fanciest: Stella McCartney, Hermeès, Harry Winston, Tom Ford, and Chanel all have outposts here. (It is also home to the goop pop.)"

Google
Great place to people and car watch. Picked up some good stuff as well. You will find some unique clothing. If price is not an issue then it’s great for shopping. Atmosphere ? Stuffy but expected. Dress to impress even if just walking about. You don’t want to stand out.

Google
It was a great experience to visit the place during Christmas. If you don’t want to spend money to see the lights and get some awesome clicks, this is the place!!

Yelp
Love shopping here. Parking is tight. Restaurants have great food. I love having lunch here and then shopping. They have lots of high end stores here too.

J E.

Yelp
Came here to walk around and check out a bar or two... While walking, we noticed lots of very hi-end stores in the plaza and very hi-end cars in the lots. The people are mostly pretentious and silly, but to each their own. The one bar we decided to go into, Honor Bar gave off that same vibe by the staff. There are some nice stores though, like Louboutin and Berretta. I'd come back to hit up some stores for shopping, but not expect much more than that.

Doug W.

Yelp
Super little historic shopping center if you're looking for the best and the most current clothes and accessories and seriously don't care how much they cost. Now, that's not my lovely wife or me, but if it were, we'd be regulars.

Allabout A.

Yelp
It's a wonderful place fancy restaurants clean are and beautiful designs I would like to visit again

Kevin C.

Yelp
Like the name says Highland Park Village is a luxury brand shopping destination, offering a blend of boutiques, upscale dining, and meticulously maintained architecture. Despite its high price tag, the experience was memorable and well my girlfriend was happy that's all what matters. I would say a must-visit for those seeking a touch of class and a glimpse into the chic side of Dallas.

Zhora M.

Yelp
I live in Los Angeles California so when I came to visit Dallas Texas for the first time, my friends who live in Dallas said Highland Park Village is like Beverly Hills. I can confidently say, Highland Park Village is 1000 times better than Beverly Hills. This is one of many beautiful places to visit when you're in Dallas! I had an absolute blast exploring around with my family and friends. Every shop we went to was very elegant and the staff in every one of them was amazing! Definitely miss it a lot!

Guy H.

Yelp
Located on Preston Road in Highland Park Texas, this exquisitely designed shopping center is designated a Historic Landmark and appears on the Register Of Historic Places It is " the place" to go in Dallas for luxury shopping. During recent demonstrations, protest, looting and vandalism, many shops closed and boarded.

Brianna H.

Yelp
People here were so rude to me. Yes i wasn't dressed like most of the others in this area but I shop the same and still bought stuff. Shouldn't have tho after the way the staff treated me.

Jen H.

Yelp
Even though I can't afford to shop at most of the stores located here in this shopping plaza, it's a fantastic place to walk through and window-shop at! The area drips with wealth, but the people here are anything but snobby. The stores and restaurants here are positioned on the outer perimeter with limited parking in the middle. It definitely reminds me of a cozy, suburban shopping center with boutique stores. The only difference is that while there are boutique shops, most stores are high-end luxury brands. There's even a movie theater here. It also seems to be a popular spot for local kids living in the area to ride their bikes to and get a drink from Starbucks. During the holidays, the exterior of the stores and the lot are elegantly decorated. Like I mentioned before, even if you don't plan on purchasing anything, the area is perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Danielle G.

Yelp
Lovely little shopping area, has high-end (Dior, Chanel, Fendi) and moderately priced stores, as well as a few restaurants. We walked around here on Friday afternoon, ate at a Mexican restaurant (Mi Cocina) which was very good, and then stopped off and a few shops, really good little shopping center if the store that you need some thing out is there. It's not very big, but definitely has a lot of good shops.

Temina C.

Yelp
I really enjoy taking strolls in this village. They have some really cute restaurants and of course very high end stores. Parking can get pretty bad but valet is always available. I would recommend eating at the restaurants here because they're kind of overrated but for shopping are always amazing. I really like the Tory Birch store! There are the options as well especially for men and women's clothing but just look up in the directory what you're look before and come at a good time not on weekends because it'll be too busy. But overall it's amazing you're gonna have a great time here!

Indiasky B.

Yelp
My husband and I went to HPV after work conferences only to find this place closes so early!! It's a beautiful Spanish style shopping center with great high end stores but was unable to shop. First time I see a shopping center close so darn early!!! Shop between 9-4 if not it's still pretty to stroll in the evening and some interesting restaurants to try. Lots of available parking and friendly people.

Steffi G.

Yelp
Cute little high end shopping area in Dallas. When I say high end, I mean Chanel, Goyard, Audemars Piguet, Hermes. They have some restaurants open for dining and of course, a Starbucks. We went on a Sunday early afternoon. Weather was perfect and not too many people yet (despite a full parking lot). It's a nice area to walk around in.

Kaitlyn P.

Yelp
Beautiful place for dinning out, walk and shops. The downside are parking challenges and it is quite crowded.

Roxanna H.

Yelp
Love this HighEnd shopping Center. It offers Luxury shopping, Beautiful scenery, great food selection and the cutest little shop is up front with a nice selection of wine that you can take out to the patio

Anne R.

Yelp
This place definitely has Beverly Hills LA vibes. It is a cute little shopping area with various shops. It is very pretty at night as it has various light decorating the place. It is very nice area to walk thru and do some shopping. There are several places to eat at as well and some coffee shops. Parking here can be tricky here on the weekends but there is also plenty of street parking around which helps. Such a cute little place and worth checking out. Great place to take photos as well.

sabrina c.

Yelp
Parking is pretty tough and I wish they had more eateries and places to sit. It's all high designer stores to window shop, nothing to really take pictures and post about.

Cheri Y.

Yelp
I have a thing for Architecture & love shopping in Highland park Village. The buildings are completely gorgeous, as it's also a historic shopping center, America's very first shopping village ever built. Love the Tom Thumb grocery store also located inside, it's my favorite little fancy grocery store on the planet. Surrounded by all high end stores like Chanel, Ralph Lauren etc., with fabulous dining options to boot. It's THE perfect shopping excursion, our favorite place to shop in Dallas. Especially during Christmas when everything is decorated so beautifully, with that historic Architecture in the backdrop, its drop dead gorgeous. God it's good to be home ;) God bless Texas.

Lourdes M.

Yelp
Beautiful Christmas decorations and bright lights make the commercial center so festive at its best. The visit is so worth it. The architecture reminds everyone of the Spanish era. The high end shops added beauty to the glory of the place. It is a nice feeling to browse around. The village theater is the focal point of this establishment.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
It is oh so charming of a village. One of my favorite places to spend some quiet time at. Easy it is to park then I simply stroll all around to marvel at the beautiful window displays of the merchants! Granted, many times I do make lavish purchases here when I see fit. And, I do frequently visit these two merchants: 1) Madison, wonderful gifts to be found; and, 2) Deno's, best shoe cobblers ever! Of course, I do meet friends here a lot too. There have been times for a coffee at Starbucks or Bird Cafe; lunch at Bistro 31; drinks at Lounge 31; dinner at Cafe Pacific; or simply to catch a movie! This past Saturday, I was at awe of the LOCAL artisan market which took place here! Every 3rd Saturday of the month, stalls of lovely goods presented. On my calendar now from now on! CHEERS!

Yelp
Great service, great servers, and great food. had a wonderful experience at the mi cocina in highland park!!! 10/10!

Yelp
I am totally fed up with the horrible customer service that I have received from the Veronica Beard Store in the Highland Park Village location in Dallas, TX. The incompetent associate overcharged me $162 this past summer for a pair of shoes and I have yet to receive the refund! I have been ignored, passed off, lied to, and just left hanging in the wind. The situation is not about money principality of the matter. I spend over $2K in two days at that store and could care less about the $162 but what does matter is the store employees knowing how to communicate properly with their customers and correct their mistakes. Training these employees is most certainly needed to give customers their best experience while shopping and communicating with this store. The back and forth of the employees telling me they processed the refund but yet I have not received it, is very annoying when I have not received any benefit of their action. In the meantime, they have had the nerve to tell me to contact my bank and request them to write a statement that the refund has not been processed. However, I have showed the assistant manager, Daniela Moore, whom I have been in contact with since this whole stupid ordeal started, proof that the refund was not received. I feel that this store is taking me on an unnecessary emotional roller coaster when they should just refund my money and stop showing me they sent it to a bogus account. I have vowed to never shop at this location or any other Veronica Beard store based on the experiences that I wish I haven't had. It definitely has been a total waste of time trying to get the money that is due to me and it will not happen again.

Abigail H.

Yelp
The only public restrooms are at Starbucks and they are disgusting. Just shows that the people who frequent places like this are dirty and don't know how to clean up after themselves. It is not Starbucks employees responsibility clean up after nasty people. This mall claims to be high end and luxury but doesn't offer bathrooms for their patrons. Everything at this outdoor mall is available online. Would only recommend if you are eating there or trying to be superficial.

Cristal Y.

Yelp
One of the first shopping centers to pop up in Dallas and it's character truly shows through its Mediterranean-Spanish style architecture. One of my favorite things about coming to this area is all of the uniquely built homes on the way there. The homes are not like the cookie cutter suburbian homes that are spread all across the metroplex, but each home showcases its own character (whether it's traditional or modern). Here are a few of the pros of coming to this shopping area: a stand-alone Anthropologie, an elevated shopping experience, a quiet place to catch up with a friend, and some restaurants in case you get hungry. Some of the cons: limited parking spaces, $$$ shopping, pretty congested roads.

Alex N.

Yelp
High end shopping center that is definitely there to make an impression. If you want high end; this is the place to go.

John J.

Yelp
plenty if stores here but most are a bit high brow. very expensive valet parking. well built and pretty buildings. but basically NO parking. there is a nice start bucks though.

Nicole N.

Yelp
Beautiful high-end shopping mall in an ideal location. Worth visiting if you're looking for an elevated shopping mall experience.

K C.

Yelp
Absolutely shameful! Still have Lines to go in. No other store has lines in Highland Park Village at this time. It appears the entire staff took lunch at 2:30 and did not inform the hour+ long line. Would be so considerate to inform the guests in-line of real-time wait.

Ed C.

Yelp
Glad to see we have a lot of luxury shops in a nice walking area in Dallas! Here's a link to the list of the shops they have below, as well as a YouTube video walking through Highland Park Village! Some notable brands here are Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Hermes, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Tory Burch, Valentino, Zegna. Yelp
Upscale eating and shopping village. Also a national historic landmark.Very beautiful at night during Christmas time .

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
I love the way this shopping center has adjusted to recent times. I recently stopped by to shop and this place has not lost its charm, you can't go wrong spending your time and money here. Every single establishment is welcoming and friendly. The restaurants are some of the best in the area and it is all in all such a fun experience. Finding parking was a breeze, which you wouldn't expect given such a busy location, but everything was so accessible. Now that I feel safer to get out, I will make sure to visit Highland Park Village as often as I can, and you should too! You won't regret it, there's several options for a family to enjoy.

Leslie C.

Yelp
Do I do my shopping here? Heck no! But do I love visiting and occasionally dining here, heck yes! Especially at Christmas time. I love the architecture and cuteness factor of this neighborhood 5-star gem. The theater usually had family-friendly films to cater to local families, and there are some delicious food options. Window shopping is a must, I mean there is Harry Winston (Marilyn Monroe moment). At the very least, get a coffee at Starbucks and do some great people watching. You never know who you will see.

Eric T.

Yelp
Very chic, regal, elegant....and pricey! If you love the James Perses, Ralph Laurens, Chanels and Loro Pianas of the world, then this place is for you! There is a good amount of parking during the daytime hours yet after 4:30 PM or so, the parking areas fill up quick. I've noticed that there is valet parking towards the front of the shopping area, so that is always a possibility. And yes, there is also a Starbucks nearby should you want to get your caffeine fix prior to shopping. Very beautiful architecture, especially at night. Extremely nice to shop in. I haven't tried any of the restaurants yet but I imagine that this would be a pretty good choice for a romantic evening. Check Highland Park Village out for sure, folks.

James T.

Yelp
Since moving to Dallas some seven years ago, I have always enjoyed spending time at HPV. While most of my experience there has been window shopping, as the medium sales receipt from any vendor would be three figures, I like to admire beautiful things. HPV is home to many couture fashion houses - and serves as the only spot in the city for many of them (Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Dior). This place somehow always lifts the spirits of one who appreciates fine living. My favorite time of the year to visit is during the Christmas holidays when the entire village is lit in white lights. It's a holiday wonderland and thank goodness for the Starbucks to warm your spirit with holiday treats - my favorite being the caramel frap. While parking can sometimes be an issue, it's worth the wait. Lots to see and explore.

Matt H.

Yelp
Super high end shopping center. If you want to buy stuff here be prepared to pay a high price. There are no discount stores here at all. We wound up shopping at the store we could afford: Starbucks.

Christopher W.

Yelp
Disney World for the rich and famous. This is where the high life lives and goes to shop in the Dallas high rent district. The closest thing to this I have ever seen was Rodeo Drive in Hollywood California. The place is beautifully lit at night with all the top brand luxury cars lining the street below the Christmas light lit oak trees. A sight to see how the upper crust lives for sure but too expensive for my taste.

PJ L.

Yelp
Probably the only place other than North Park Mall that has high end shopping stores in Dallas, TX.

Taylor S.

Yelp
I have heard that this was the first shopping center in the country, but I also have heard that about the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City and I would think somewhere in the Northeast would have had a shopping center before that. Regardless, over the time I have known about Highland Park Village, it has become gradually nicer and nicer and nicer, and now I can't imagine a place anywhere with a higher end collection of stores. It is an awesome place just too expensive for me to shop at, but it is fun to look.

Seth M.

Yelp
I was In town from Denver and stopped by Highland Park Village for lunch, my experience was wonderful! One of the best parts was the Valet team. They had such a convenient electronic ticketing system that made everything so easy. The valet team was professional and took good care of me. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in town.

Margaret P.

Yelp
Super expensive. There are many stores I don't know by name and some I do. The atmosphere is European and so is the architecture. Expect to pay at least $300 for clothing on sale and more than $3,000 for items not on sale.

Daisy B.

Yelp
Fabulous selection of top-shelf shops: Chanel, Alex MacQueen, Jimmy Choo... The place to be seen and the place to spend your husband's money. Ultimately, however, it's the place to be seen spending your husband's money. The clothes are wonderful. 'It makes me sad because I've never seen such--such beautiful shirts before.'

Kimmy H.

Yelp
Home of all things high class, this premier shopping area includes some impressive boutiques that will give your wallet a workout, such as: Chanel, Louboutin, Hermes, Harry Winston, and the newly open DVF. For more reasonably priced shopping revelry; try Anthropologie, Scoop, and Hadleigh's. The Starbucks baristas are always friendly and stop by for a spot on the sofa for some amazing people watching. If you're in the mood to gossip and grub down, Mi Cocina and Patrizio's are personal favorites for the area.

Lisa G.

Yelp
I was in the area for work and trying to find something relatively close to kill some time - if I had known what I was walking into, I would not have gone. Basically: Don't bother going unless you make buckets of money and can afford designer everything and anything. I didn't bother going in half the stores from the disdained looks I got at my Target level cost clothes...../sigh. But you'll see high end cars and tons of rich - well - anyone! The architecture is that of common outdoor malls these days. On the upswing, walking around the ritzy neighborhood surrounding the center is really entertaining - more-so than window shopping at designer stuff I could never afford.

Tony E.

Yelp
Pretty Location but in the middle of a residential area, shops are nice and the staff nicer but there is Never any Parking!! Lack of parking hurts this place ! Avoid in the evening and weekends.

Angelica C.

Yelp
I love this place!! Anthropologie, CHANEL, Vince..... They also have a Tom Thumbs which makes my whole shopping trip easy. PS. This is the only Starbucks location that's open on xmas and thxgiving.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Beautiful shopping center nestled in lovely Highland Park! I love driving around and looking at all of the homes in the area and can appreciate that they are all custom and not cookie cutter. Okay, but let's get back to the shopping. There are a wide variety of good restaurants and high dollar shopping boutique places here! Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Chanel oh my! I love that I can hit up Micocina here for a mambo taxi or Café Pacific for some red wine and seafood. Bistro/Lounge 31 is a nice option as well. And the whole place is lit up at night like Christmas! Not far from Dallas Love Field too so you can pick up your guests from the airport and go straight over here for a nice dinner.

Matt T.

Yelp
It is a beautiful place with the lights on. You can see in some of the pictures people have posted how amazing the lighted trees look. The architecture is cool old spanish architecture. It has a great feel. All the shops are super fancy except the movie theater, grocery store and starbucks, but it is worth checking out. There is also a Mi Cocina there. It really is a pretty cool place.

Ernesto C.

Yelp
Ladies, gentlemen, this magical place is a beacon and symbol of fashion, brilliant architecture, elegance and stunning views. Every majoy high end fashion store will be here and you get a feeling of magic every time you walk through here at night. This is the second shopping square in the USA, making it a National Historical landmark. Any Dallasite will tell you, this is one of our diamonds in our amazing city. Date night, bar catch up or just world class shopping and dining, this place has something for everyone. If you have a guest visiting Dallas, this is a must. He/she will be jealous that you live in such a majestic city with gems like this.

Guy K.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: *It's the Beverly Hills or 5th Avenue of Texas. *You'll find all of the high-end, luxury stores here. Overall, I should mention that Tom Ford's latest (5th USA) store happens to be located at Highland Park Village.
