Great place for a chopped cheese in Chinatown

This is what their turkey burger looks like. Overall this is one of few delis in chinatown within a vicinity otherwise I'd never come here. There are bums daily hanging about in and out. Eating at register Ramen soup n coffee the Arab guy and new black girl at night won't answer the phone so you can't pre-order for pick up. One of the Latino ladies in a.m. is always grouchy and sarcastic n defensive they rush u never read order back to you. The older tall spanish gentleman who is chef is nasty and does not like to take your order requests he is very short tempered. The food is never delivered hot. And they have. Customer service terrible. The two younger Mexican chefs r Kool. Far from quality food. It's just open 24 hours a day so it's a better option than going to bed hungry or waiting long for delivery. The new girl moves slow looks really tired I feel sorry for her none of ppl are trained properly they do not know what is in stock or prices or location of items just looks sketchy friends Be on guard once in a blue u get a decent bite to eat

Went to this deli had the worst experience ever first of the Arab old guy in the evening had a disturbing and nasty attitude I think he is Senile wears the same clothes everyday stinks and smells like urine and feet like he has not taken a shower in weeks I also saw mouse and rat poop in the store they gave me the wrong order and found hair and a roach in my sandwich don’t know how this establishment is still open they must have the worst grade smh 🤦‍♂️ 👎👎👎

Very poor service from the cook with an angry face when serving both the night and afternoon staff. I'd rather just buy water or beer and food somewhere else. They should be friendly with everyone. The cashier is super nice person Kind and super friendly, only the cooks don't have good service, maybe he doesn't like me because I speak to him in Spanish

I ordered delivery. I got updated email that added $4 for special instructions. They called restaurant to confirm. But they say no special instructions, none! So what this restaurant as this was big lie and slick move. Be careful as maybe they did this to me before.

Every time I think maybe this place has improved and gotten better, they hire some asshole or other who does nothing but give me shit every time I go in there. I just tried to buy two cups of ice from some toothless f**khead who is actually worse than the previous guy, Abdul. First, he said "No EBT" (even though I was going to pay cash) and when I told him that I just bought ice a few hours earlier using EBT, he said "no ice" even though he was literally holding a cup of ice. He eventually decided that he could sell me ice and he charged me $1.25 when I had just paid $1 a cup hours earlier. This place needs to get rid of this guy, cause someone like me will just keep reporting them to the city until they're fined so hard they have to close.

Excellent option in the neighborhood, especially late night. Marco's terrific and friendly: spot-on sandwiches, grilled foods, etc. I live in the area and have always had good experiences here.

If your staying or hanging around Chinatown and need somewhere to stop near the Brooklyn bridge to fill you up. Check this place out and order almost anything your heart desires. The food is amazing the place is gunna give you true New York energy and the best time to come is going to have to be during the night. Get drinks food snacks it even has daily essentials. 10/10 Prices and food beats anything near the lower parts of Manhattan. The cook seems like a pain but Gordon Ramsey isn't the nicest guy either when it comes to making good food

The cook behind the deli who makes the food is extremely rude. Has yelled at me for various things on my trips there. These are some of my 'favorites'. Got angry because I said toasted at the end of my order instead of the beginning. Got angry because I said toasted at the beginning of my order instead of the end. Got angry because I was quietly waiting in front of the deli to order and he barks at me, "I AM MAKING ORDERS! I WILL TELL YOU WHEN I'M READY!" Got angry because I wanted something that needed the grill, during a time when his grill is normally on, and I unfortunately did not have a psychic vision telling me that he had already closed the grill before I tried to order. I would go anywhere else if a new deli were to open 24/7 around that area. I've walked out of my way late at night to avoid having to go there. Even for a simple order.

refused to prepare and to give me my pick up order cause the price on Uber eats had mistake but didn wanted to cancel it, so he told me to cancel order when I came to the store. I said it's not me problem, and he told me he is not gonna prepare it. After I went back home and called Uber, he prepared my order, and marked it as ready. Called him 3 times, no one picked up the phone. Uber sucks as well. Their support were like we can give u 2 dollars on tokens back like wtf. Conclusion? You still prepared it and probably threw it away, and now you have bad review. Well done!

The food is great! It's very convenient if you are in a hurry;) the cashier what seems to be is the owner is very kind & welcoming. If you are in the area I recommend going!!!

First off and the most important thing to note here is their lack of pricing. Every single item in this deli will not have a price tag except for the chips and deli sandwiches. Other than that, the prices of other stuff like their milk, ice cream, drinks, cigarettes, etc are jacked up. Go to a nearby supermarket and you'll see these items being sold up to 2x less than the price this deli tells you. But honestly, even their deli sandwich prices aren't even set. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese regularly for 4 bucks and I was once told by the cashier it raised up to 5 bucks "during lunch hours"? Another thing to note is that there has always and will always be one person making the sandwiches and one person at the cashier and maybe another person jerking off in the back. The point is, expect the service to be slow if you see a line. If you see two people waiting for the sandwich guy, that's like 8 minutes till your sandwich gets made and another 4 minutes till you get to pay for your sandwich at the cashier. Speaking of paying, don't expect to get your change if it's like 5-20 cents. I know it's not a big deal but the thing that bothers me the most is that they don't even communicate to you about it. If you ask them about it, all they do is give you a look and belittle you about it. It hasn't happened to me but I've seen it happen to other customers who lets say ordered a panini which is 6.95. They also charge 3.5% extra of your total price if you pay with card. I don't know why and I've never heard of delis doing that. I always pay with cash but this is just to let you guys know if you plan on using card. I personally haven't used their delivery system but from what I'm seeing on Yelp, I wouldn't be surprised with it being the worst. The communication inside this deli is garbage. Multiple times I've seen the cashier having to ask back the sandwich dude what each one was with some occasion not even noticing nor remembering the sandwiches that were just made. Literally all they have to do is make an easy go to system like writing the price on back of the deli sandwiches or something like that. Overall, their customer service is bad and don't be surprised if you come in here feeling pretty ripped off. Unfortunately I am a regular here, often buying their bacon egg and cheese but that's only because it's the closest shop that opens 24 hrs. Excuse me, it's the ONLY shop that opens 24/7 in this neighborhood. I'm a night person so it really sucks that I have to go here if I ever want to buy food but mark my words, if there's another shop that opens 24/7, I will immediately ditch this place cause the only pro thing I can think of for this deli is that it never closes.

Pretty standard place. They'll make pretty much whatever you want-which is cool. They also have a lot of healthy options-although some if it, as healthy options are won't to do-is quite overpriced. Good place to stop in and grab a snack, lunch or breakfast.

The cook is so rude. I've seen him start a fight with customers just for skipping a line that they didn't even know was there. That guy seriously needs an attitude adjustment

It's one of the worst feelings in the world when you take a bite of your sandwich and pull from your mouth a hair. Way too thick to be mine and I'm scared to wonder where it came from since the guy who handled my food had slightly longer hair. I'm just utterly disgusted and will never return to this place.

On a scale of Yes-To-No, this place is a definite "this place sucks." If that rating system doesn't make any sense to you, then you're not alone. It doesn't make any sense to me either. I've seen seedy gas station restrooms under better management; and trust me, I've seen some Saw-Like restrooms out there. M1, do you remember the one in San Francisco that looked like something was murdered in there? Exactly. The cashier proceeded to conduct the transaction, and threw the money at me like a Second String Stripper. What the hell?

The perfect deli. Very bright and clean, good service, and the prices are pretty low. They make a great French toast for only $3! And yes, they do deliver. They don't sell beer, but that's coming soon, apparently.

Ordered via Grubhub, place is a 3minute bike ride, ordered two sandwiches and 2 drinks- 1.) delivery took 1 hour - means the bread was starting to get soggy YUCK!!!! 2.) the class act of this place forgot my drinks so they gyped me $4 Not impressed!

These were the worst sandwiches I have ever had in my life. Not to mention there was a huge hair right in the middle of one of the egg sandwiches. They pretended not to understand what I was saying when I called them to tell them about it and ask for a different sandwich, considering how gross it was we didn't even care to get a replacement.

This place is so inconsistent with service and price. I want another deli to open up so I don't need to come here anymore. This place would do so much business if the guys there provide just a little bit of customer service. The attitude of the two older guys who work the register is horrific. I've been coming here since it opened as Moe's Deli and use to come here 4-5 times a week to grab breakfast and dinner. But the guys will still give me a difficult time about ordering and the prices constantly changes all the time. I've stop coming around so much and today. They lost me as a customer for good. If my money can't get me what I want to order then I don't need the hassle. And if the prices constantly change then I might as well go to someplace where they know their prices.

The food is very inconsistent. When you order online, they do not attempt to contact you and deliver the wrong items. When I called, the man on the other side proceeded to yell at me. I had to call back four times. On the 4th time, the man had put another employee on the phone that spoke English. I would recommend this place if you want a walk in but I would not recommend this for online ordering.

The worst deli in the lower east side!!!!! I highly recommend no one orders from here. They are extremely rude and unprofessional with their customers. Owners need to restructure their attitudes to keep customers because they just lost one. FYI - I highly recommend a great new deli "Legacy" on Essex street, great tasting food and descent prices and the owner is very attentive in making sure you're satisfied with your food. Unfortunately, I ordered from highline because they did not have a delivery guy at the time.

They never res comments when you request for something with the food. I ordered a burger and left a comment with the order that I don't want tomatoes but I want ketchup and mayo, they never read it and left the tomatoes inside with no ketchup and mayo.

I don't know why I don't learn. This place (and corner grocer's) have the worst prepared food money can buy. My boyfriend and I ordered the other night (it was late, so weren't many other options) I got a veggie burger and he had a regular burger with fries. The veggie burger was rock hard and freezer burnt (I literally gagged after taking a bite...threw it out) and the burger was inedible for anyone except my boyfriend. Then, the fries tasted like everything else that had been fried that month--stale grease with a hint of fish and old...stuff. Fries were moist and soggy with a couple burnt ones to mix it up. So gross. I only give 2 stars because the coffee is sometimes good, they usually deliver within 30-45 minutes, and I can get regular (overpriced) groceries. But their prepared food gets a solid 0 stars.

This place is awful and rude. I went in for lunch thinking I would get a standard service to order a sandwich and out the door in a matter of minutes. First of all, there is a long line of loud middle school students (a school is across the street), which isn't necessarily the deli's fault. But what is the problem, is that the workers are chatting away with these students while the rest of us have to wait in this long line. They can't seem to have a handle on the orders and have no efficient system in place because they gave my sandwich to someone else, and proceeds to say it wasn't their fault. Really? The girl just jumped over the counter and snatched it from you? And then the guy proceeds to offer me a different sandwich that is not what I wanted, and tells me that I have to pay full price. To top it off, without any form of apology (because mind you, its not his fault), he says "so you want it or not?" Nope, I didn't want it. And NOPE, not going back. We are all busy people with not a lot of time for lunch. So don't waste time in a place that is more concerned with flirting with teenagers than getting your order right.

This place must be a breeding ground for roaches. I saw 3 while I was in the deli for 5 minutes!! When you call, a cockroach picks up the phone too :-0

Worst deli ever I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and there are other options of Philly cheese steak sandwiches with onions and peppers and I specifically did not order those. So I am extremely allergic to peppers, and when they delivered my order and I realized that it had peppers in it. I immediately called them and told them the issue and the had the audacity to blame the problem on me that I did not say no peppers in my order. Thank god I did not take a bite out of it otherwise I would've been in the hospital.

They messed up our order. My first sandwich was not good. They put mayo when I specifically asked not to. The panini, on the other hand, was inedible. The presser was probably dirty and the smell of burnt oil got encrusted onto my panini. Will not order again.

This is my favorite deli in NYC. They have healthy snacks, protein drinks, sandwiches with chips and pickles, and juice smoothies. They are open very late. It's good if you need food in the LES late at night.

Super poorly run. Forget placing an order by phone. They absolutely will get it wrong or maybe the person who took the order will forget to pass it on to the person making the sandwiches or maybe the person making the sandwiches will go out on break before doing the order. Walking in there is no better. Usually three folks working there: two having a conversation with each other, the other one overworked. This place was great back when it was Moe's Deli. It's unfortunately gone seriously downhill.

bought four items and it amounted to 17.50... i thought it was strange but i was in a rush back home so i didn't really pay it no mind. Looking back now i realize that for my order to amount to 17.50 each item would have to amount to atleast $4.5. i got orange juice, gelato, a bottle of coke and a icecream bar. WTH???? bunch of crooks!

I went to the store to order bagel for my breakfast and there were to workers, one on the back and one in front cash register who was talking on the black guy which doing nothing means NOTHING. He is tall 6 feet dark light skin guy total ignoring me like does give shit about customers walking in. I Said nobody is saying or helping me to order breakfast and he looked at me like doesn't give you SHIT about you like i am not to deserve to be there. He is not evening say sorry what can i help you. The back guy who's working, I'm trying to say hello, and waited about 5 mins, he's not evening, looking at me or say just wait. I would GO the to buy anything to buy it. REALLY BAD MANNER AND BAD CUSTOMER'S SERVICE.

This place is the absolute worst. I have lived across the street for years. Every time I go in the guy makes up prices for everything on the spot and they are always outrageous. He even does it when there are clearly price tags on stuff and you have to argue with him to charge you correctly.

These dudes are ripping off customers. They tried to convince me that a 24 oz PBR was $4.50 and a 6 pack of Tsingtao is $16. Come on, I doubt delis in times square are even that expensive. Obviously trying to take advantage of consumers. Sorry, but I'll never come back.

Friendly staff and cat, but the cat is always in the cellar =( Plus 1 star for cat!! Haha! Nice and clean layout. Burgers, buffalo wings, salad are not bad. Friendly dudes. They deliver too!!

Hits the spot. 24 hr. delivery which is great, ordered online at delivery.com. The menu is big and juice selection is a treat. Prices are very reasonable. The Siciliano Panino is my favorite. Give it a shot.

Such a great place. I ordered the Russian Hero, the sandwich was delicious. So much meat and it just melted in my mouth. Right around the block from me too, easy to get online or when I'm walking past. I've stopped in before and the owner is very friendly and it's refreshing to see someone care so much about their business.

The delivery guy pissed in our hallway. Yes, you read that right. He. Pissed. In. Our. Hallway. Who. The. F***. Does. That? Ordered our food - sandwiches for a late night quick dinner, tipped pretty fairly too. A few minutes after he delivers our food, our landlord calls us yellinG because he saw on our security cameras that the delivery guy went into the back room of our hallway where we store our garbage, went downstairs and discovered a puddle of piss. We called up the deli and explained the situation and the delivery guy had the AUDACITY to tell us that "OH IT LOOKED LIKE A BATHROOM BECAUSE THERE WAS A SINK". Let me paint you a visual. There are about three rubbermaid garbage huge containers with black garbage bags on it, with a small sink covered with cleaning rags on it in the corner. WHERE does he see a TOILET?! Does a bathroom not consist of a toilet now adays? Is that not what embodies a BATHROOM. HAVING A TOILET!??!?! Also, the deli is NOT that far from our building. I have walked past this place on the way home from the train many times. It is about a ten minute walk and that is me walking at the slowest pace. Please. Do not tell me that "IT'S A LONG WALK HE COULDNT HOLD IT" We will not be ordering from this deli again. We just cannot take the chance that something like this could occur again. We will not be recommending this deli to any of our friends or neighbors in the building. Where has the decency in the world gone to??

Horrible deli experience in NYC. Guy at the counter was very rude and charges you for using a credit card without any notice or signs. Stay away if you don't want to be ripped off.

Do not reccomend high line for delivery. Placed an order and afteran hour the delivery didnt show so i called them told them i placed and order and the cashier guy just gave an attitude.

Placed an order on 12/17/16 at 1239 am. When I called an hour and 4 minutes later to simply ask how long it would be, the call taker, a male, yelled at me and stated that you are not the only one who has a delivery and you have to wait. How about a simple, sorry its on the way?? No wonder this place ha such bad reviews.

I love this place. The deli is clean and has a great selection. The sandwiches are good. delivery is hit or miss, sometimes it's 15 minutes, sometimes it's an hour, but it's always hot and delicious when it arrives.

This place is disgusting. The people who work here are completely UNREASONABLE and REFUSED to give me money back on an order that was never even delivered to me. In fact, they told me I had to purchase the order all over again. WILL NOT order from here EVER AGAIN. These guys clearly have no idea how to treat their customers.
