Houston’s Best Sports Bars | Eater Houston

"Tucked inside the M-K-T development, located directly off the Heights hike and bike trail, Highline offers TVs inside and on its covered patio for sports fans and Oklahoma University alums in particular. Create a sharable spread with some of its beloved bar bites, like queso, chicken wings, and fried corn, or opt for its filling short rib grilled cheese sandwich. Happy hour, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., includes $3 off all pitchers, signature cocktails, and frozen drinks, plus $6 house wines and sangria." - Brittany Britto Garley

Visited Highline Park over the weekend and had a pretty good experience overall. I ordered the Berry Berry Sober, a non-alcoholic drink that surprisingly tasted like it had alcohol—really refreshing. The Park Wings (lemon pepper) were a standout—crispy and well-seasoned with just the right kick. However, the Highline Burger was a bit of a letdown; it leaned too much on the salty side and overpowered the other flavors. The atmosphere was great though—lively and perfect for a weekend hangout with friends.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The food is really good. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are a life changer. Plenty of TVs for game and a big patio with a view of the park. I got an espresso martini for an afternoon pick me up and it’s exactly what you want it to be. Will be back

Kind of just happened upon this area after visiting an eye glasses store nearby. The ambience, indoor and out, is so Houston, just right to enjoy the weather and any kind of sports that might be on. Good selection of Mocktails and non-alcoholic beer as well.

This has been one of my favorite places to enjoy dinner with my kids and to catch up with friends over a glass of wine — but unfortunately, after our recent experience, we won’t be returning. I tried to order a glass of wine, but the waitress seemed distracted and didn’t hear me. My son tried to help by repeating the order loudly, and her response was to say “Damn” — with an attitude that was completely uncalled for. From that point on, she was cold and dismissive. Every time I said “thank you,” she ignored me. No eye contact. No kindness. Just a bad vibe throughout the entire meal. Despite the poor service, I still left a generous tip — not for her, but because that’s the kind of guest I choose to be. It’s disappointing that a place we’ve loved for so long could make us feel so unwelcome. We won’t be coming back, and I’ll sadly have to find a new favorite spot.

Came here to celebrate my daughters birthday, never heard of the place or the location it was in. The parking lot was confusing especially since we didn't know where we were walking to. From the parking lot, it's hidden and in the back. However if you come from the park side, it's right there in your face. It was a nice surprise to walk up to. We had the whole right side wall seating to ourselves, Our waitress was extremely nice and made sure everyone had what they needed, we are about 20 people+. She checked on us plenty. Food was delicious and the drinks were not weak. Everything came in a good timely manner given there were 3 gatherings going on at the same time. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend to anyone.

Google
I live a quick 3 min walk away, and I’ve been coming to this place frequently (every 1-2 weeks) since they opened a few years ago. This has become one of me and my friend’s favorite spots in all of Houston. The location is amazing, they have tons of both indoor and outdoor seating depending on what vibes you are going for, and the drinks and food are both great!! They are constantly tweaking the food and drink menu as well so that it stays fresh and interesting. They have dozens of TVs and they are always willing to change it for you. It is also a VERY kid friendly place, and there is a park right next to it as well if the kids need to blow off some steam. Dogs are also allowed on the outdoor patio and they will bring out water for them. There is rarely a time that I go more than 2 weeks without stopping into this place, especially since it’s a great place to work remotely during non-peak hours. I’d also ignore any bad reviews that are older than 6 months ago since they have completely revamped their menu, drinks, and service since then. They also now have a system that lets you order directly from your table with an app, which has sped up their service, but they also still walk around constantly to take orders as well. Also need to give a huge shoutout to Matt, their GM. He is awesome (as is all the staff tbh), and he’s a big reason myself and my friends keep going back as well. Super nice guy! Overall 10/10 place in my opinion, and I’ll always keep coming back!

Google
From previous reviews, I believe this place really improved since the last month. Service was good and checked in on us, appetizers and main dishes arrived quickly and tasted great! There were no problems when ordering drinks. Music wasn’t too loud, everybody was able to talk to each other. Parking was easy to access, wasn’t very crowded so we were able to be seated wherever.

Google
I love highline park! I love the food and atmosphere and staff, etc! Coming from a former server, we did have a horrible server. Maybe she was having a bad day, so I still gave her a 20% tip, but she was unfriendly and rude from the start. She did not smile once and never said you’re welcome or had any basic server manners. She took forever to come back to us, and it was not busy this day. She never introduced herself, I never got my printer receipt so I have no idea what her name is. She had dark hair in a slick back and a nose ring. I truly wanted to tell the manager that she should improve her attitude as a server. I’ll give her grace, but as a server of several years, no matter what day you’re having, you fake a happy attitude and smile in order to serve the customers especially if you have a group of customers that are normal, not demanding, and polite.

Yelp
Highline has been my go to in the last year for delicious bar food and a good spot to catch my sports teams. I heard they had their Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and I had to give it a go. It was delicious. I hear the Juicy Lucy is suppose to be good and that will be on my radar next time.

Yelp
Highline Park is a VIBE. I'm a member of Bad Gals Walk Club that meets at 6:30 on Wednesday nights outside of this restaurant. When we're done, we all get tables at Highline park to eat, drink, and play bingo. It is SO much fun! I love that you're able to sit where you choose and don't have a set waitress. The staff is constantly walking around to check on you and clear your table/refill your drink. I try something different each time I go, and I haven't had anything that I don't like yet. So far I've had the quesadilla, the turkey club, and the Cali burger. I would eat all of it again, but the Cali burger has been my favorite. My friends and I always start with the champagne brussels sprouts and an order of chips and guacamole. Highline park has some of the best guacamole I've ever had. It tastes so fresh and is perfect for a post walk snack. We always sit on the patio because it's nice and covered. Bingo is free to play, and the prizes are really good. They increase in value with each round. There's multiple TV screens that show the numbers as they're being called, and you can hear the caller from anywhere in the restaurant. Truly one of my favorite places to hang out in Houston!

Yelp
Went after a walk club that meets at high line park on Wednesdays. The walk club then heads over for bingo. Bingo was very fun! Lots of rounds and lots of prizes you can definitely use- gift cards to target, Amazon, etc. The TV keeps track of which numbers get called. Pick your own seat type of vibe. Once you're at a table, there's a QR code where you can order and start a tab online. Pretty nifty. There's some discounts on the online tab as well, we got some whiskey sodas for about $3! Drinks were pretty ok, nothing special but also not the worst. Ordered the shrimp + fries combo and was a pretty decent portion for the price. Lots of extra sauce options too. Overall nice little spot, would come again for bingo!

Yelp
So far have been here twice and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite "sports bars". Every food item I've ordered (Brussels, Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Steak Caesar Wrap, and Buffalo Chicken Wrap) have all been BOMB. The service isn't the best I've ever had (you may need to flag your server especially if it is during a sporting event) but it's definitely not bad service! The patio though is definitely the shining star. It's such a good size, with plenty of seating and dog friendly! Also the bar is bomb... they have a full bar with great options and even better drink specials!

Yelp
Cute spot. Went there for a friend's birthday party. Nice vibe and the drinks were good. I'd go back again

Yelp
I visited this place on a Tuesday night with a large group. They offer Tuesday specials, so most of us ordered the $8 burger and fries. The burger was pretty standard but classically good. Despite our large party, the service was excellent, and there were plenty of seats available. Although we sat outside, we were well taken care of, and the large fans did a great job of mitigating the heat and humidity. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the alcohol, but I really loved the ambiance and service. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Dec 7th 2024. I attended my friends 40th Bday celebration at the Highline Park Bar! The bar was a very rcool vibe when you walk in there were plenty of TV's to watch football games, or just set at the bar. The food was also catered for his bday with chicken wings, southwestern egg rolls, and hamburger sliders. But, they also had a full menu as well. Since, it was a large party we had friendly servers to take our drink orders ,so we could keep the party going. Also, we danced and sang while they played all types of music. And, yes I'll definitely be back because I had such a amazing time!!!

Yelp
I stopped here with my crew to watch the Texans on NFL Sunday. I had a great time! The food was delicious! The menu had classic options but also diversified just enough to make you excited about what you were about to eat. The establishment is very nice and clean inside with a lot of TVs. They also have a happy hour AND daily specials. I feel like that is rare for modern day sports bars like this one. The entire staff was friendly, and the restaurant uses a cool Point of Sale system that makes ordering and paying very easy. The patio is dog friendly and has turf, and it's in a pretty shady spot so you can sit outside without being too hot. Right next door is a park, so you can people watch or go walk off your meal right after. I recommend this place for Houston regulars and folks visiting from out of town, whether you are looking for sports or just a spot to grab a bite or a drink.

Yelp
Came here to enjoy my Yelp friends for HH, and we had a nice time trying this place. My Yelp friend wanted something easy in the heights. It's located in the huge MKT. Ample parking surrounding most of the restaurants and shops. Service - was great. He was kind and offered excellent service, hence the 4 stars worth. Even the food runners and bartenders were quick. My friends enjoyed the bar a bit before I got there. But once I arrived and ordered my drink, we moved to a 5 high top table instead. Glad we came during HH, so the place was pretty empty, leading to quick and easy service. Food - I shared the onion stack with my friend. It's sounds more intimidating than it is. Comes with maybe 6 O rings. These were fine. And I had an order of Moz sticks. Wow, these are on steroids. The 3 strips are huge! Could only get through half. Great HH prices. Drinks - I had the Lavender Tom Collins. This was so yummy. Keep this on the menu! I also had the Blueberry Skinny Rita. The server explained that all of their Rita's are skinny, which is great! My friends enjoyed their drinks as well.

Yelp
Came out for HH and to meet up some friends over in the Heights. We wanted to try a new place, and something that looked fun and inviting, and after scouring our trusty Yelp, found this little gem. Nestled away is this cute little place with a great patio and dining area for viewing a variety of TVs in which you could watch sports, or whatever is on for the moment. They also had some great music playing when I entered. I took a seat at the bar and waited for the crew to arrive, in which I was greeted by Matt, the bartender. Of course we all know that I love a good espresso martini, so before he even put the menu all the way down, and I saw it, I called it. He asked if I'd like a regular or pistachio, in which I was intrigued because there are a ton of spins you can put on an espresso martini, but Matt's face was saying it all, so that is what we went with! When I TELL YOU!!!! MATT, that martini topped the cake because it was by far one of my favorites I've ever had! It was so good, that when 2 more of the crew showed up, they ordered it too!!! Although, one of them ordered it with tequila instead of vodka, and she loved it! OK, now to the food, bc I am too excited for that martini! It was HH so we got 2 orders of the mozz sticks and some chips and queso. The flavors are definitely there for these apps, but they were cold : / The queso flavor was my jam for sure, and we ate it bc we were hungry, but if it were hot, it would be off the charts, and same for the sticks! The mozz sticks, were breaded and seasoned deliciously and the spicy marinara it came with was a surprising yet good bite, but when you order mozz sticks, you need that cheese pull. I'd order them again, just want the temp hotter! We all ordered more food, wings (boneless and bone-in), onion rings, fries, and those were good as well. Loved this little spot and will definitely be back for not just the martini, but just a bomb a** little place to hang.

Yelp
Update! Definitely not too packed on a Saturday evening. Burgers are still very juicy lol. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, and they were OK. You can't go wrong with their chips and queso! The service is speedy this time for sure. The food always comes out super quick. I got the Mezcal Mule and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely a great place to catch up, watch some games and drink!
google avatar

Jooy C.

Yelp
Solid food and great for big parties or patio season! I honestly wish there were more places like this at MKT - it's a perfect place to chill, eat, and drink especially when the weather is nice out. There are servers but you can also scan the QR code at your table to get your order started. We recently tried the chilaquiles and Highline burger (beyond meat) - both were very good and would get again. We will be back for more!
google avatar

Mariel T.

Yelp
It was a good spot for afternoon/evening drinks. My main issue was that the drinks/food via the app were cheaper than ordered in person, which didn't really feel fair. I really only thought the app prices were worth what came out. Bingo night was fun. I love that they do specials for that running club that comes here on Wednesday nights tho! Glad to see that support in Houston.
google avatar

Anthea R.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday early afternoon and it was not busy at all. The manager was the only one there and got us started on some good drinks. Ordered the burger and dry rub fried wings. The burger was decent, and the potato chips were nice and crispy. I loved the celery and carrots that came with the wings. Very fresh, and crunchy. The wings had a good fry to them and the habanero lemon dry rub was good but would have liked the inside of the wings seasoned. Overall, it's a good place to get drinks and a bite to eat if you're feeling low key.

Yelp
Came to celebrate a friend's birthday and I really enjoyed my time. Food and drinks were good. Service was very helpful. The place has indoor and outdoor space. I will be back!

Yelp
$6 espresso martinis!!! Wanted a casual drink after dinner nearby and was pleasantly surprised by highline park. You can order via QR code and app at the table, which was running a promotion for essentially half off espresso martinis in addition to select whiskey and non alcoholic margs. Vibe was chill with lots of sports fans. We enjoyed the ample outdoor seating. Servers were nice as well!
google avatar

Christian P.

Yelp
Service was a 10/10! food was pretty good we got the fajita fries and they weren't bad! Ambience is great super dog friendly! We took our dog and he was getting all the pets from the servers :)
google avatar

Kayla N.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to go to Highline Park for drinks after having dinner at another place within the MKT area. While there was an OK crowd when we arrived, we were surprised at how quickly the place emptied out for a Sunday evening (on a holiday weekend). We decided to sit at the bar to order our drinks and later moved to the outdoor patio as we got a bit too chilly. They have a pretty good selection of drinks (canned seltzers, frozen drinks, beer and cocktails). I started off with a frozen margarita and later ordered the prosecco. Both the service and drinks were good. I liked the atmosphere overall but do wish that it was a bit more lively. I would visit again for dinner and would hope their food would be good as well.

Yelp
Expresso Martini is still best omg Tuesday Burger is bargain snd taste great Karbach $6 during happy hour, another bargain I love this place

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in to Highline Park to start off our Sunday Funday shenanigans (we did on Mother's Day) and decided to sit at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and informative of the menu and all of their drinks. My husband settled for Espolon tequila neat and I went on for the Easy Tiger as well as their Mezcal Mule. They were so refreshing on such a humid day. We didn't have any food but from the photos - we'll be back for sure!

Yelp
I've deemed Summer '24 a personal Happy Hour Study. Call it a 'mini-series' in my elite journey. HP was ok. Fairly busy on a Monday afternoon, i had to squeeze in at the bar. The bartender came around and cleaned my space after I asked for a napkin to wipe away the wetness myself. He went on to talk me thru the drinks and offered recs. I tried a bowl with shrimp (they're 8$ on Mondays at the time of this post) and two tequila-based cocktails. Both were ok- the drink had too much salt for my taste. Price point was right where it should be at around 37$. Would recommend for a no-fills, chill happy hour when you're in the area. Two word review: citrus vinaigrette.

Yelp
The patio is absolutely amazing ! Especially with the awesome weather we've been having ! Food: The food was good. I was craving a burger so opted for the Highline Burger with no cheese and a side salad (you get an option of salad, onion rings, or fries). The salad was simple but satisfying and paired with the champagne vinegrette was the perfect light side for the burger. Unfortunately my experience with the burger is why my rating was only 3 stars.... I ordered it without cheese, and it came with it. No big deal - I pointed that out and they went to correct it. Still no big deal. It was clear all they did was scrape the cheese off but not even fully.... the bun was then smashed back down on it. It came out initially looking absolutely delicious with a fluffy bun, but quite flat on the return. The bun then completely fell apart and I ended up rating it with a fork and knife. So it was generally just a sub-par experience though the patty itself was cooked well. We also got the sandwich with onion rings which was pretty good. It came with a side sauce that wasn't ketchup but was fine. Ambiance / space: The patio is amazing ! I already mentioned that but it's worth mentioning again. There's tons of seating outdoors include 2-top, 4 -top, and more. Seats range from booth to couches outside and inside there's bar seating as well. There's several tvs outside playing sports channels and some upbeat music playing too. I do with it was a little more clear that you need to seat yourself. It was a bit awkward not knowing that, being greeted, and really not being acknowledged in any way at all. Once I figured that out though the server came around pretty quickly. He was awesome and also seemed to be the only one working, so he was doing great! Other things to note: - the patio is dog friendly - it's on the back side of the MKT further from parking so can be a bit hard to find - there are tiny QR codes on the tables for menus - but they are very tiny ! - the handicap stall in the women's restroom had a broken lock and could not stay closed - they take your card up front when you place a food order (or any order really)
google avatar

Yelp
I really enjoy the atmosphere. It's a really cool place the drinks are good during happy hour. I will say that there's only one house wine on happy hour and it's a Chardonnay and I got a Pinot Grigio and when I paid out it was $11 for a glass instead of the six dollars I think they should expand their happy hour white wine list. The service is really great when it's not busy I will see that it's really loud the music but besides that it's a fun place to go.
google avatar

Irene H.

Yelp
steak night $25 comes with two sides. QR code menu/app allows you to order + prices reflect happy hour pricing during designated time. parking is shared lot with other tenants in shopping center. backyard is running trail or path facing baseball field of Lawrence Park.
google avatar

Roger C.

Yelp
One of the bartenders said that it was an OU bar, but we won't hold that against them. Went for a UofH alumni gathering and the place was great. Service was spot on, the drinks were good, and the food was more of the same. I would suggest getting an Espresso Martini + Shrimp Quesadillas -- you're welcome!
google avatar

Jackie K.

Yelp
The real upside of Highline Park restaurant is the location and the ambience--the food and service are just fine. The location is great--in the new, fun MKT complex, right off of a trail, and across from a field/park. The patio at Highlight Park has great views and is nice and turfed, with big fans. Perhaps it was because we were there for a group buffet lunch, but I thought the food and service were just OK. Different items at our buffet came out at different times, so the food you got was based on when you went through the line (or I guess could go multiple times), which I thought was odd. To that point, service was friendly but rather absent. Overall, though, it's a fun spot!

Mizz H.

Yelp
I emailed in advance to ask this joint whether it would show the WNBA finals. I was told sure, come on by. When we got there the douchey dude who appears to make the last-century decisions about who gets catered to shook his head and refused to change even one of the channels. The vibe reminds me of a 70s stripper bar where women need a male escort.
google avatar

Cassie X.

Yelp
So I do love the vibe here. It's very spacious and nice patio area with large enough TVs. I think the drinks are fine. Nice variety of drafts. However, the food really really needs some work. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich with curly fries and the sandwich was barely edible. It was 90% bread and I had to take half of it off. Curly fries were serviceable. Service is also not good but it was really busy and I know they were short staffed. I wouldn't have cared about the service if food was good.
google avatar

Claudia C.

Yelp
Staff makes this place 10/10!!! Perfect spot to watch the game whether that be basketball, football, baseball etc.) We will for sure be back, I also love the holiday drink specials!
google avatar

Samantha W.

Yelp
Highline Park was heavily promoted on Instagram before it opened last year. We've had it in our rotation for a little while - especially for football games. There is plenty of seating all over and a nude view of the skyline from the roof area. The drinks are decent and they have great specials. The bartenders are attentive, they also have table service outside on the deck. It used to be packed when it first opened, with 0 parking, but it's definitely calmed down. However it's really convenient to the white oak bayou bike trail and they give you a discount if you ride your bike! A weird thing is that the music selection isn't the best. We asked a server if someone could change it and she said the workers can't control it but she agreed with us. There is no food menu but there is always a food truck outside which is honestly better. You can also bring in your own food obviously. I've only been here in the middle of the day and never at night so I don't know what happens after dark :)
google avatar

Keriann P.

Yelp
It's been a long time since we've been to a bar with service this good. The servers regularly check on the tables, and our drinks were coming out from the bar almost before the server left our table. Otherwise good ambiance, and a lot of screens to watch games. Great place for a Sunday afternoon.
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
So this is a review just for the drinks!!! We came by after dinner on Friday night and sat outside before the after dinner rush came. You seat yourself and they have waitresses who come around and take your order. I got the espresso martini and my hubby got a beer. The espresso martini was actually really good. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was made well and was a good after dinner drink. What really surprised me was how good the service was despite them being so busy!!! The girls would just make their rounds every so often and had a good system going. Good service goes a long way!
google avatar

Edna G.

Yelp
Great ambiance, service and menu. They are able to accommodate a large group efficiently.
google avatar

Bridget R.

Yelp
Nice spot! Great outdoor area. Good food and good happy hour specials. Only thing I did not like was the only indoor seats are all hightops. Some have may have enough of a base to rest feet, but know I have friends that find the tall chairs uncomfortable.
google avatar

Brianna C.

Yelp
The food was really just okay. The ambiance is really nice, I would definitely come for drinks with friends and sit on the patio. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich, super meh. The pulled pork was also nothing special. I did enjoy the fries. Drinks were tasty, a little expensive at regular price but they do have daily happy hour. The queso wasn't bad.

Natalie B.

Yelp
Delicious drinks and snacks, great vibe! The service is great. Sarah was incredibly attentive and sweet, absolutely made our trip here for bingo night a 10/10.
google avatar

Taylor R.

Yelp
Been here a few times now, always on the weekend. Shadia is usually working and serving us. I couldn't speak more highly of her. She is incredibly attentive, she makes great conversation and makes you feel like you came to just hang out with a friend. The bar is a great vibe and has really good music. I live close by so with the service and atmosphere, this is my spot!

Anne S.

Yelp
Sarah was literally a queen and we loved having her as our server. The drinks were amazing and the vibes were iconic. 10/10 recommend!!!

Yelp
We came across this gem while walking around MKT. The restaurant itself is very nice. The outdoor seating is clean and classy and a perfect spot for intimate gatherings and larger groups of friends! The inside is very modern, clean and aesthetically pleasing: a perfect spot to watch games or just hang out. We came in briefly just for a drink. The drinks were well prepared and delicious. We didn't try the food this time around as we had just finished up with lunch elsewhere (that is why I only rated 4 stars - because we didn't try the food). The service was very friendly and efficient. Overall, a really cool spot we came across and we definitely plan on coming back to sample the food.

Yelp
Holiday season for me means wanting to spend time with loved ones. One of my friends and I decided to check this spot out on Wednesday evening. First impression was wow this is a cute spot. However, we quickly wondered why with all the busy spots surrounding why would this be fairly empty. Well that would be due to the service. We sat at the bar in hopes of getting service. First glass we got fine. Beyond that we made eye contact and tried to get attention but kept getting bypassed by the many staff who walked directly by us to the kitchen. The wine was decent and a nice pour. The chicharrones with bacon weren't bad. However they were a bit on the harder than I typically like. I would like liked to have dipped into the creme or a bit more of it. I hope with time that they will not be just focused on themselves and maybe a tad more on the customer. It's a great location and cute set up. Just don't go necessarily for the service.
google avatar

Nick A.

Yelp
No Onions. They do not have onions. No where in their kitchen do they have onions. If you like onions on your burger or your food, don't come here. This feels like a really weird review. But I've never run into an onionless restaurant. Service was okay. Alright place to watch a game or two. Too many other choices.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
Great Burgers, Good Price on beer and lots of TV's to see all the game on Saturday or Sunday.

Yelp
A great place. I'm glad we found it. Parking was tough but once we were there the service was prompt, food was good, plenty of tvs to watch games. We are definitely going back.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend wanted to try something new in The Heights. First time coming in on a Friday, it was slow yet the bartenders behind the bar did not greet us properly and didn't even introduce themselves or the restaurant. We were told that the menu was revised so we order from the updated menu- only to be told that we couldn't get Shrimp Skewers and it was wrong again. After 20 minutes of placing our order and just talking, the bartender with the spiked hair asks for my ID and sees that I am 20. He tells us he doesn't want to get fined $30,000 and to go sit somewhere else. He also repeatedly tells me I can't drink my boyfriends drink (He's 21 and all I asked for was a water) Honestly, if he had been more respectful and even offered to assist us in moving we would have respected him more. In addition, this would've been prevented if he had ID'ed us in the beginning and addressed us. We decided to leave because it was just an embarrassing scene and we lost our appetite. I hope the customer service can improve within this place.

Yelp
I love to visit new places for happy hour because there are less crowds and good prices. We went to Highline Park today because we haven't heard much of the place and wanted to check it out for ourselves. The staff is friendly! I was greeted right away. I sat down in an area with a wet floor and a towel plugging a leak of some sort on the floor. When I asked about their menu they asked that I scan a QR code. I pulled up their lunch/dinner options as well as all their drinks. Their signature drinks are $12/$13 according to their website and menus at the bar area and since their happy hour specials were $3 off these drinks we ordered some from their list. I also attempted to order some lunch but since they couldn't accommodate a small substitution I declined to order food. Once the bill came we were charged the normal price for drinks (non happy hour). When we asked for the the correct price, a manager arrived and told us the price was correct and that both the website and the menu bar prices were wrong and the charged price reflected the discount. We weren't offered a refund for the price difference. "So if the ranch water is $12, does that mean you charge $15 for that drink normallly?," I asked. Apparently so. We were simply told that's what the price was. We paid and left. Would I return. No, I'm afraid not. The staff is nice, but they are not honest with their prices. If you go, double check your tab.

Yelp
Great spot for groups! Food was great, service was a little off, forgot some of our order and didn't fix the mixups, but maybe it was because she was all by herself with 4 tables. The outside area backs up to the park and they have fans. Slightly in the pricey side with $11-$14 glasses of wine but they do offer select options for happy hour.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink while bouncing around the Heights. Nice atmosphere inside and out. We got margaritas and they hit the spot on a hot day. The frozen ones weren't too sweet and I was grateful that the bartender warned me about the frozé being sweet! That's always appreciated because I'm not a fan of the sweeter drinks. We sat outside to enjoy them and the waitstaff was very attentive; just right. They were available if we opted to order food but weren't intrusive or annoying at all. Another bonus- dog friendly!
