Whatever you do, do not come here for food. Drinks, it is the least recommended bar in this neighborhood. I have given this place several tries and will never do it again unless it is sold and completely turned over to a new restaurant/bar. Every experience here has been outright dreadful. I would usually recommend ways that they can improve, but this place is beyond help. It is so bad, they just need to burn it to the ground and start over. It is a shame because it is a nice space. Specific problems when visiting: 1- food. Went yesterday with a friend. We just wanted to go somewhere local (across the street) and get some food and watch football. Absolutely no one was there and we should have kept walking. (Good stuff eatery, 50 meters away, is fantastic) We ordered two smash burgers, fried jalapeños, and fried pickles. The food was completely inedible, and it cost $82. (That didn’t include the cost of two sodas. Note, sodas, nut beers.) When I say inedible, I mean, I have been to over 50 countries, I have eaten food everywhere, I’m 47 years old and I’ve been all over the United States as well. That I can remember, this is the worst food I’ve ever gotten accounting for value to quality. Never had worse. I have gotten better food in completely depleted War zones. I spent 20 years in the Marines and most of the MREs I ate tasted significantly better than this food. Deployed chowhall food (with the infantry, not in the rear) blows this out of the water. It was dreadful and we had to just leave it and go to good stuff eatery. Paying $82 is bad enough. Paying $82 and having to eat this garbage would’ve been worse. Pictures of food attached. Just awful. No need for explanation. 2- I went with a date during happy hour once. I asked the extremely unfriendly bartender what was on happy hour. She told me everything in red on the menu. I ordered something in red on the menu. She gave it to me and later charged me $24 for it. When I asked to confirm that that was the happy hour price, she said no. When I told her she had just told me that was on happy hour she simply stared at my date with the old “this guy can’t afford expensive drinks” look. stupid. I’m 47, not 17. I can afford expensive drinks, because I ask how much they cost, and because I don’t pay for obnoxiously expensive drinks. You guys want to milk me for one $24 drink, or have me like you as the bar that’s directly across the street from me and come back again? You’ll make more money the second way. This place really is just deplorable. When I was in the military and we used to have to go here for mandatory fun for my unit at the pentagon, it could be kind of cool. As far as I can tell, those mandatory fun events are the only reason this place still exists. It’s a lovely location, but with current management, Food, and service, it is not repairable. Time to sell and let somebody else get in there and open a real restaurant. There are tons of good restaurants in this neighborhood. If you’re looking for a place to eat, do not land on this one. If you’re looking for a place to drink, do not expect good service, friendly service, or honest service here.

Seat-yourself setup with QR code ordering. We stopped in for a quick beer and unfortunately ended up with one of the foamiest pours we’ve ever seen (see photo). The beers also had a strange soapy aftertaste, which was quite a letdown since we were looking for a fun brewery atmosphere for a few local brews.

The food is good. It is very affordable. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is a vibe they have games you can play. You can watch the games you can interact with other people the way the tables are set up.

Great staff and the food was very good. Not overly crowed and did not have to wait long for drinks or food. Highly recommend if you want to relax and enjoy some games on TV.

This place is a hidden gem! I met some friends here for food and drinks and it was fantastic. The whole vibe of the place is awesome - super chill and inviting. Plus, our server Simon was amazing! He was super attentive and made sure we felt right at home the entire time. The food was delicious too, and the drinks were definitely strong (in a good way 🙂). Highly recommend checking this place out for good vibes and a great time!

Great place to watch a game, lots of TVs. In case you didn’t know, it is the Texas A&M football game watch place. Decent Beer selection, had wings decent, not great. Do karaoke and other fun stuff. Prices average for downtown Arlington.

Went for happy hour two weeks ago, it was okay. Food was nothing special but they serve mango cart beer which is my favorite. It is located on the 2nd floor. Even on the warm day we visited the windows were closed. Nice scenery tho. Would try again maybe on trivia night when it's a little more lively.

My company had a private event here during lunch hours. The staff was very friendly and the resturanunt it's self was very open and aire. That being said you order from the QR code or by placing your order at the bar. There is no service per say. If you want a refill you must go get one because no one is gonna ask if you want one. Make sure you take note about the table number you're at. Because if you're not there when your food arrives it's up for grabs because they won't know who the food belongs to. Don't forget to add a tip to your bill for all of their had work. The bar seemed to have a couple of good selections. However, I can't speak on their selections because we were not there for a drinking event.

5 stars for a great Cheers-type bar with great staff and fun events. I've been a regular here for nearly two years, for two big reasons. 1) the bartenders are some of the friendliest in the area. Simon and Shanon have never once let me down, and even on busy nights take the time to talk to each individual guest and answer any questions or offer recommendations. Additionally, there is a real neighborhood atmosphere that is rare in a place like Crystal City, helped by the fact "everybody knows your name". The staff here is a great balance of friendliness, knowledge, and professionalism. Shout out as well to Carlos for always being proactive about fixing orders and keeping the guests happy. 2) weekly trivia with James on Monday's. This event uses the TriviaMatic app rather than pen and paper, making it much more accessible to those of us who can't hear in a crowded bar, and quick to score. There is a great mix of regular teams and rivalries, and well as newbies who just dropped in for happy hour or to watch the game, and decided to join in. The atmosphere is full of laughter and friendly competition, guided by James and his solid sense of humor. Honestly I recommend everyone stop by at least once to meet the staff, have a pint, and maybe even stick around for trivia!

Busy, busy, busy! It's a casual place, ki. Da loud. It was super crowded so we got a long community table. Ordered off a qr menu the online interface was a plus. You could leave the tab open and the minute I hit pay it felt like my drink was at the table. Drink and food menu was a little basic, but we still found something to hold us over. It was OK for me.

My $15 fried chicken sliders appeared to be middle school chicken patties. The bar was also empty on what's otherwise a busy game day, go figure.

This is the 2nd time I placed an order on line and I place it 30 minutes early, I get to the store and it's still not ready having to wait another 14 minutes so I asked for an Pepsi for the inconvenience they were like no you need to pay, how about having my order ready on time instead of having customer wait over 45 minutes for an online order and the damn wings weren't even hot Pissed. 39 minute lunch break gone.

I felt at home on my first visit. The bartenders were really down to earth and the first-name-basis game was strong. Totally appreciated the fun loud vibe at this bar. I was here on a Tuesday so I opted for tacos. I'm not big on fish tacos, but theirs made me a fan. This gem is packed with 2 large pieces of fried fillets and the tartar sauce made it even better. The grilled chicken taco was my second favorite with good flavor. Their beef taco was just okay for me. Tacos went well with my Kolsch from Bear Chase. As simple as chips and salsa can be, I'd probably get fries instead. Their chips were subpar and salsa was a sweet kind... not for me. Now I'm looking forward to their burger... when I return to the area.

I think Highline has such great potential - this is a bar nestled into the streets of Crystal City and overlooks the main street that goes along the water. This looks and feels like your traditional sports + game bar. There are dozens of tall bar tables and four tops scattered through a large open floor plan in addition to the long bar that runs along the side of the space. TV's, sports memorabilia, and fun bar decor hang throughout the space; makes the place really feel like your typical college bar (but a whole lot cleaner). The energy throughout the bar is light and fun; folks of all walks of life crowd around tables talking, playing board games, and watching sports. I've sat at the bar during both of my visits; the bartenders are very friendly, chatty, and fast with their service. I appreciate how many beer and cocktail options they offer - there's definitely something for every palette here. I've had a number of their ciders on draft as well as the standard well drink; all my drink choices have been solid and pretty decently priced for the area ($6-9 for a draft beer/seltzer and $9-11 for a well drink or cocktail). We didn't partake, but they also have a slew of gameday shot specials for $6. The food is where I was let down a bit. I've had the chicken sandwich and fries ($17ish) - the chicken patty was 100% a frozen unseasoned patty that they fried and sauced. While the sauce was tasty, I was expecting a higher quality sandwich, with more flavor overall. The fries are solid, seasoned with salt and pepper + nice and crispy. I also ordered the cajun wings - I got 6 party wings for $15 which was a major disappointment. They loaded my platter with celery, carrots, and leafy greens - there were more veggies on my tray than wings. The flavor itself of the wing was solid, just need more than 6 for that price point. If you're looking for a great meal, I'd suggest looking elsewhere - but this is a really good option to watch the games, socialize, and enjoy a few drinks.

Nice bar, the bartenders are friendly and very proactive. Good amount of space in here to sort of lounge and float around. The drinks were good too. The food was alright, but not a highlight. Still would recommend it if you're not going for food.

Phenomenal spot to meet friends, grab a drink or three and enjoy a bite to eat. The staff are very polite and engaging and there is a ton of room for large groups. This place has a solid vibe.

We checked the hours, open to 11pm. Apparently the kitchen closes at 8:30 and some of us got to order food, they didn't bother to warn us the kitchen was closing when they dropped off the food.

Great night of trivia and comedy with Shelley Kim. Music was SUPER LOUD. Food was basic bar grub. The pretzel was fluffy and delicious!

Pretty good experience. Easy QR code menu ordering. Fast service. Fairly busy during happy hour time due to its close proximity to commercial office buildings. We had the fried pickles, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks. Very difficult to heat up fried food but they were tasty. Full bar and several on draft. Separate room area for hosting medium to large sized attendees.

I came here in the Fall of 22 for their trivia, comedy, and karaoke night, all combined in one! It was a great evening out, entertaining and fun. When you first come in, you can either take the staircase up or there is an elevator that will take you up as well. When you get upstairs, you enter into a large open bar area with high-top seating. The staff at the bar are helpful, make great suggestions and provided great service. The trivia, comedy, karaoke show is in the back room. The menu is paperless so you scan the QR code and download the menu and order from your phone. There was a bit of a mix-up with my meal that I ordered. There were people that were being served that came in after me. That is the only reason I give it 4 Stars instead of 5. The food was pretty good, standard burgers and fries. I've been here several times over the years and recommend it as a nice hang-out spot in Crystal City.

Highline RxR American Sports Bar offers a lively and inviting atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for sports enthusiasts and casual diners alike. This bar is known for its extensive selection of craft beers, creative cocktails, and classic American pub fare. The food was delicious, I had a juicy burger and tried their crispy wing's. The bar also offers vegetarian and gluten-free options, accommodating different dietary preference! Check this place out!!

Came to this place looking for something to eat after traveling all day. At this point I was. on the verge of being HANGRY.. The place was nice and clean. A typical sports bar. We went for lunch. There was no service at all. No one to greet you. No "Hey welcome in". There's a barcode on the table you have to scan to order and pay. Or pay at the bar. I was a little taken back about this and was expecting some interaction with a person. I ended up ordering at the bar paying cash and bought my own drinks back to my table . The food came out pretty quick. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The fries were perfectly cooked . We needed more ketchup and a refill of our drinks but I didn't feel like getting up and getting my own drinks at the bar and ketchup. This place was a big NO for me.

Decided to come here for happy hour. The place was crowded so finding a spot was lucky. They have a ton of tvs and options for drinks so great place for sports. They also do the qr menu order to your table which I am a fan lf and the HH prices were probably the best in the area. Cool place and I would go back.

Highline RxR is not your conventional restaurant. When you enter, you seat yourself. There are no waiters/waitresses. There is a QR code on each table that links to a menu. You then can order straight from your phone. The food came out fast which I liked. It might be because it was late at night so most people were just ordering drinks. I was hungry though. The sandwich I ordered was just okay. Nothing special but not bad either. Maybe could've used some kind of seasoning on the Turkey. It was on a Monday night so they also had trivia. The trivia was really fun and overall my party and I had a very enjoyable time. I just subtracted a point for the sand which being just OK.

We are not locals and stumbled upon this place when we were visiting our friends. The bar has a great vibe, very friendly staff and great food!

FINALLY got a chance to visit this place I heard so much about, and I wasn't disappointed! The atmosphere going in was jumpin', vibrant. You could just feel the positive energy of the other patrons. Seated quickly, and our order came out just as speedily. Our waiter was friendly. Special note: Be sure and try the Bear Chase Kodiak Kolsch . My husband raved about it! I give high marks to the Hazy Like a Fox. Very fruity and smooth. We both had the Smash burgers and parmesan truffle fries. All on point. All in all, it was a satisfying experience, if a bit pricier than we're used to. If we're ever back in the area, we'll be sure and drop by again.

I came here with a party of three on a Saturday evening around nine. There were a handful of people there and the vibe was quiet. There are lots of board games and two arcade games. I think I was hoping for the opposite. We were asked if we wanted food because "the kitchen is about to close". We answered that we were just here for drinks and no one checked in on us after we were seated. There were QR codes on the tables to order so perhaps there's no expectation for someone to come to the table. Overall: This place has underwhelming offerings and I would only return for trivia because there's supposedly a $5000 prize. If this place had couches, comfy chairs and smiling faces, I'd be more likely to settle in with friends and stay a while.

What a great way to end our trip to Arlington! Highline was a great experience and we really enjoyed our time. When you first walk in, they have a cute little set up down stairs. You'll go up the stairs or elevator to a nice upstairs set up! You seat yourself & order from the table. Our drinks and food came out SO quick. We didn't catch his name but the guy in the kitchen that brought us our food was super nice and very helpful! The food was really good! My coworker got the nachos (8/10). And I got the tacos - beef (9/10) chicken (8/10) fish (9/10)! I love how they dressed the fish taco, yum! This is be a place I recommend to anyone coming to town.

Had a ton of fun and the food was delicious. Our server was friendly. The bartender made great drinks. Great atmosphere all around.

This bar is located upstairs. They do have an elevator to get up there. There is a paid garage nearby and metered street parking available to park. The inside bar/dining area is dimly lit and has some tables and a lounge area with some very worn couches. They also have a few video games in there as well, but they were all turned off, i am guessing due to COVID. There is an enclosed patio that they can open the windows all the way. There are TV in both areas to watch sports. They also have music playing in the background. There are seat along the perimeter of the patio area that you can sit and overlook the streets You do not have a server here. You grab a seat, scan a QR code, which will bring up a menu, and place your order. You pay directly from there. They have specials every day. I came on Taco Tuesday, $3 tacos. They also have drink specials. I ordered a turkey club with tater tots and a beef taco. My food came out very quickly, less than 5 minutes. The food was delicious. The bread on my club sandwich had a toasted butter taste, just like I like it. I highly recommend giving it a try. The taco was bigger than I expected and was full of flavor. It also come with chips and salsa. This bar/restaurant has a nice chill vibe and is a cool spot to meet up with friends and have a drink or two. They have some pretty good food too. Be sure to check out their specials if you do go, they may save you a few bucks.

Came here for a private gathering/party this past Saturday afternoon. Similar to what other reviews had mentioned, nothing to write home about. The upstairs space was good for the event I attended and there's a bar for drinks. The venue was just a casual bar setting with some seating and tables (lots of high tops) and some games you can pay to play closer to the stairs. Interior is a bit dingy, but adds to the casual vibes.

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was adequate for the amount of people in the restaurant. I like the vibe of the restaurant. I will definitely be back.

This is a great spot to grab a few quick bites. The service was fast and our waitress was so friendly. My kids enjoyed the French fries and chicken tenders. My hubby loved the juice burger and drinks.

Okay my first time here and yes seating is separated , hand sanitizer etc ..We were greeted and seated quickly and served our drinks which kind you was delicious refreshing! It's a very nice relaxing place and just damn chilled out! Music playing , roof top open right now with a nice breeze! Their menu is simple and well put and I'll tell you this much of it can be paired well with for example fried green tomato BLT with a kolsch If you not made it to this establishment please show some love it's truly a fabulous place! The decor is well just sexy if you well a bit industrial which I love! The prices are in my opinion priced good! You won't beat the prices on the Jameson on the rocks. I look forward to coming back soon!

Stopped by Highline a week ago and wow. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my girlfriend got the fish tacos. Both of them were incredible! The service was amazing and our server Jennifer really took care of us.

Thank you so much for a wonderful service. My son had a melt down when we came but the server made him calm down and he even offered my son a little toy to play with. The food came out fast and really good. The highlight of the evening was my son had a good time and we all came home with full and happy stomach .

My husband and I like to go for their awesome happy hour. The bartenders keep things fun and we always have a good time. Fast and friendly and they know what they're doing. We never have to wait too long for our drinks either. This is a great place to meet up with friends after work for a few beers and snacks. Sometimes I bring my family but this is more of a social gathering place in my opinion.

Went here with my husband a couple of weeks ago and the food came out fast and delicious. The employees were excellent at accommodating any request I had for service. Overall, the environment was pretty good, and it's just a nice place to eat out at.

I was visiting DC area for a conference and ended up eating here due to its proximity to the airport. I could grab a bite there before catching my flight. This place has many craft beer specials and has many drafts on tap. The food is typical american fare and the prices were comparable to other places near by. I was also able to catch up on my favorite sports on one of the many television screens.

The food was delicious, service was great, fun atmosphere. So glad we stopped in! Will definitely return when I'm back in the area.

Best comedy show I've been too. Incredibly funny. He kept me laughing through the whole show. I definitely recommend this comedy show. By far the most entertaining.

Just stopped by for cocktails and appetizers. We had a hot pretzel and fried pickles. Both were very good and came out hot. Drinks were good and employees were friendly!

The service was fast and the food was tasty at Highline RxR. They've got a nice selection of beers and ordering using the app was very easy.

Highline RxR offers (Covid menu): 20 drafts, 10 wines, including a sangria, and a fully stocked bar. The menu is boiled down to the favorites. Don't worry, the appetizer favorites are still there, along with the deserts! Covid: So, this place is fully compliant, squeaky clean, and sufficiently spaced. Tons of room! If you're looking for a high-speed sports bar that won't rob you, or making you feel like you can't afford to have another round, this is your place! The bar and menu items are very reasonably priced. While I said "sports" bar, it's focus is not about sports. This is obviously a place where people gather and hang out for a fun evening of frivolity with a few shenanigans for good measure. This is a perfect weekend waterhole! #TodaysDiscovery
