Hill Athens Rooftop Restaurant

We did the Greek wine tasting with the incredible sommelier, Manos. We have been to many wine tasting and this was by far the best. Manos was incredibly knowledgeable about wine, wine tasting, and Greek wine/grapes/wine regions. Not only did we learn about Greece and the local grape varieties, but also about how to taste wine. Manos encouraged us to ask questions and knew all the answers, including about wine from different parts of the world. We are so glad we did this as it was the best activity we did during our trip here. Would recommend this to anyone. The price included 6 tastings, as well as bread, olive oil, and cheese. Following the wine tasting, we stayed for dinner. Manos turned into our waiter and was just as knowledgeable about Greek food and pairing the wine with that food. The service was obviously friendly and fast. We had the best Greek salad that we’ve ever had. We also had the cold cuts and split the pork cheeks. Food was delicious and paired perfectly with one of the wines from the tasting. Price was extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. On top of all of this, we had a beautiful view of the Acropolis sitting in an enclosed, heated terrace. Would tell anyone visiting Athens to come here.

For our dining experience we were well taken care of by Manos and Aris. This was truly a nice dive into Greek cuisine with a modern twist. Very well presented. My absolute favourite meal of the night was the Duroc Pork Cheek. Very tender and flavourful. (Reminds me of a home cooked meal in Jamaica 👌👌) Second favourite for me was the sea bass which I think is a special fish of the day. Really good smoked flavour paired with an flavour packed sauce. Thirdly I sampled some of my friends goat (can’t remember the name on menu ahaha). Very tender, and very strong flavours. We also had rounds of drinks (favourite was the Pomegranate Hardball) and desserts 🍮. Oh and I almost forgot, the Taramasa was absolutely delicious. Very well pairing with the sourdough. And the Greek salad 🥲👌👌👌👌. All in all you will not regret trying a dining experience here. Also a lovely view of the Acropolis out in the background.

My girlfriend and I spent three great hours at this spot. Startad the evening With a winetasting of 6 different wines. The Sommelier did a great job presenting some of the Greek varieties of wine. A broad, and interestingingly big spektrum. The food was splendid as well, and the view second to none. Highly recomend this, especially the winetasting.

I am happy to celebrate my birthday today by your restaurant. I didnt expect for a magnificent view from the rooftop. I am new to mediterranen cuisine and it perfect! It tickled my taste buds. The sponge cake is very refreshing. The service is recommendable. Your staff are so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back!

Had a wonderful evening at Hill in Athens! The terrace offers a stunning view of the Acropolis! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and paired perfectly with their impressive wine list. Our waiter, Mark, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations that made the experience even better. It’s also pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an unforgettable view!

We had the best experience at Hilltop! We ordered wine, the zucchini salad, steak, and the chicken dish and all of them were excellent. Manos provided impeccable service and was so helpful in educating us about the surrounding area and attractions too. We had the most beautiful view of the Acropolis at night, and it was our favorite meal in Athens. 10/10, we will be back!!

This was an amazing experience, super relaxing chill place with amazing food and drinks! Best Acropolis view too!! Recommend the goat, the soft goat cheese, bread, fish roe, and the dragon ale!

Very lovely relaxed dining experience and had a table looking out over the acropolis. We were here for 3.5 hours, having and 3 course meal and drinks. No pressure from waiting staff. Some of the wines were out of stock but the waiter brought us some very different and interesting options to choose from. Very reasonable price for what we ate and drank.
