Came here during a road trip to Hill Country. It was a lovely stop - beautiful and quaint path from the parking lot to the restaurant. Nice homey feeling, and all the staff members (and patrons) are very kind. We did the TX wine tasting, which was 2 reds and 1 white, with some pirourettes. Really liked it! My dining parter and I shared several dishes. The baked meatballs (hand rolled meatballs, baked with marinara,
four cheese blend, sliced focaccia bread) were alright - not too special but still tasty after a long car ride. The farm haus flatbread pizza (marinara, ricotta, grilled sausage, oven roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, gruyere, gouda, parmesan, mozzarella) was excellent! I loved how loaded up this pizza was. I'm a huge fan of pizzas with tons of toppings - so yum. I thought the fritto misto (lightly breaded scallops, shrimp, and calamari, with basil, garlic lemon butter sauce, house marinara, lemon wedge) was good but not spectacular. Lastly, we enjoyed the farm haus omelet (bacon, ham, breakfast sausage, red potatoes, gouda cheese, sweet onion home fries), which was fantastic! Loved the flavors and textures of this dish. The fries were delish as well. Service was on point. They're really showing their Southern hospitality!
