A west side, twice-weekly market drawing a strong roster of small farms and food artisans. Covered by local business news and the center’s event listings, it’s convenient for mixing errands with quality farm goods.

Small farmers market in front of a shopping center with around 15 booths. Mostly flowers and produce, plus some baked goods and prepared food. We went around 11 am on a Wednesday (market runs Wed and Sat). Got apples, bok choy, and other produce - both vendors we bought from took cards, though some might be cash only. Good selection for a smaller market

It’s nice to have a market close to home. I enjoy walking out my door and grabbing fresh produce and cheese twice a week. It’s always nice to be greeted by live music as I approach the market. I really couldn’t ask for anything more!

Not crowded so it can enjoy wandering around. I always come here and the summer and the fall for fresh Asian vegetables and summer flowers.

I love this farmers market. I have been coming for the last few years. It's a great way to buy local produce in the Madison area. I like to come see all the products they have. It's more than just product. Sometimes there are vendors selling crafts and home made goods as well. It's a great community event really. Very family friendly experience!

Good selection of organic produce, breads, desserts, even dog food. Much less crowded compared to the Capitol square farmers' market, but you won't find Stella's cheese bread or curd girl here.

I always enjoy Hilldale's Farmers' Market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Produce, bakery, meat, cheese, flowers for planting, hanging, and tabletop, and so much more! Dog's are welcome. Not too crowded, plenty of parking.

Yelp
I ventured over to Hilldale to meet my roommate and her bf to shop at Hilldale and didn't realize there was a Farmer's Market in the parking lot across from Macy's. There were a lot of great vendors and I didn't feel claustrophobic like I usually am at the capitol. Lots of vendors with flowers. No cheesy bread, but it's okay. I am definitely coming here from now on...

Yelp
Sometimes I'm in the mood for the madness that is the downtown farmer's market, but usually I just want a couple tomatoes. If you just need a couple tomatoes and maybe some herbs, eggplant, lettuce, eggs, peppers, flowers but don't need 17 different kinds of pickled veggies, this is the farmer's market for you. And by the way, the egg guy will sell you just one single egg if that's all you need for the scones you're making.
