Absolutely adorable little chocolate shop, and brimming with all manner of treats. I personally don’t like the chocolate very much (I’m super picky about my chocolate), but when I get dipped or coated things I enjoy them. My favorite chocolate in MA is Phillips or Equal Exchange. I hate Taza. And this is okay, just not near my fav. But the shop is stunning and it’s always a pleasant experience. Also love the fresh flowers and decor out front.

One of the traditional family chocolatiers we're so lucky to have in southeastern Massachusetts!

I really, really like this place. Their newish store in Norwell is very nice, with a wider selection than their previous location. They make their own chocolates and sell lots of other goodies. They always seem to have enough people so finding and getting what you want is easy, and the people are patient and pleasant.

Great assortment of candy and chocolate; fun staff. It's locally made, so why go anywhere else? Can't beat good taste, affordable price and awesome selection.

All good. Top quality. Decent prices. Fresh chocolates. Very nice people who work there. When you just have to have good chocolates this is your go to place. Sugarfree chocolates there as well

Yelp
Hilliards Candy is that South Shore stalwart that you may have forgotten until you really need it! It's been in the area for, well, forever! and for my family at least, it's been bringing sweet treats for about 40 years. A few years ago the store moved from the cramped space in Norwell at Assinippi Corners to a fresh, larger building right at Queen Anne Corner on Rt. 53, across from Alfredo Aiello. It manages to have to same cozy feeling as the old store when you walk in and are surrounded by whatever seasonal chocolates are displayed, plus the cases full of chocolates, truffles, jelly beans, foil-wrapped chocolates - everything! It's a given that the big holidays - Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day - have everything and everything you could want to make a sweet tooth happy. I've spent many visits to Hilliards picking up waaaay too much candy for big holidays as well as the smaller ones (St. Patrick's Day, Fourth of July, Halloween) because "I need to bring candy to work!" More like, "I need to bring candy home!" Displays are fresh and full, the prices won't make you blink- think delicious without breaking the bank - and the staff is low key helpful rather than hard sell. I especially like that since I like to roam around, walking the hardwood floor, shopping the one-for method: one for you, one for me. One for you, one for . . . well you get it! Lots of parking in the back of the building, so look past the teeny 3-space area in front and just follow the arrows to the back door-and sometimes there're samples!

Yelp
Excellent selection of high quality chocolates and other confections, with unique seasonal items for holidays. I love bringing a gift box from this shop instead of a bottle of wine as a hostess gift. Their chocolate-dipped candied fruits are my favorite item In the store.

Yelp
Great service! Although less caramely, their version of the turtle equals that of Philips Candy House. That's huge! I'll definitely be returning for Valentine's Day.

Yelp
I was visiting a friend who was passing away and decided to buy a box of these chocolates to give to people who were caring for her and the chocolate is so good. It was just a comforting and well made product. I would recommend it for anyone.

Yelp
This store is amazing! Very busy day before Mother's Day and every employee was a delight to deal with. The smell walking in is delicious and inviting! I forgot my wallet and the manager was so patient and understanding while I figured out how to pay. They also gift wrapped my chocolates beautifully. 10/10 experience

Yelp
As far as candy stores go, I'd say this one is pretty standard. Maybe a bit above standard. They have a good selection of loose candies you can choose from, as well as pre-boxed sets if you're in a hurry. Unfortunately, the people I was with were in a hurry whereas I was hoping to make nice personalized boxes for my family. The staff there was very kind and patient, helping me navigate nougats, sugar-free chocolates and cremes. I just felt so rushed! I could have easily browsed for a half hour. The candies produced there are very tasty. I prefer creams and they were all amazing. The sea-salt caramels were delish. Family members raved about their chocolates, as well. They are a bit pricey, but they make great gifts. I know one person who buys all of their holiday candies (Easter, Christmas, etc) at Hilliard's. Worth the trip.

Yelp
In my family, there is no such thing as a holiday without Hilliard's. Every year since I have had teeth, Hilliard's has appeared in Christmas stockings, Easter baskets, birthday gift bags, and of course, Halloween! The candy is absolutely delicious; I have never had a piece of chocolate, fudge, or gummy I didn't enjoy. I also like the "mistake bags" which can be bought on the counter. They are filled with an array of chocolates that range from salted caramels to raspberries. Hilliard's is a tradition in my family and you have to try Hilliard's to experience the high quality products the business has to offer.

Yelp
My best friend craved a white chocolate caramel apple with cinnamon. She couldn't find it anywhere during the duration of her pregnancy. I finally thought of Hilliard's and sent their manager, Janet, an email. Hilliard's allowed me to submit a special order and pick it up at the time and location most convenient to me. I had to get one for myself. It was DELICIOUS. Great job Hilliard's!

Yelp
One Valentine's Day Eve, I had the bright idea of heading over to Hilliard's to pick up some candy. The first thing to realize is that there's virtually no parking; despite it being Valentine's Day Eve, there still wasn't enough room for vehicles you'd find there on an average Saturday afternoon. Furthermore, the parking lot is known for letting drivers make their own spaces. I don't care if you're 20, 40, or 100 years old ... no one has the sense of entitlement to park their Caddy in the middle of the driveway. Yes, I did see that. Anyway, the candy is pretty standard for Hilliard's. It is fresh, local, and made with care. Personally, I like supporting local businesses and even though the Hilliard's in Easton is closer to work, the one in Hanover is more convenient. The staff is friendly and although the location is smaller than the other, the quality is matched. Whether you are buying candy a la carte, packaged, or just something small for that someone, this is the place to go!

Yelp
I went in there to get some party stuff and some chocolates and the staff was beyond helpful! I was able to test out a couple tiny pieces of chocolate to make my decision and they definitely knew their stuff! Love this place!

Yelp
Truffles...omg the truffles. Deeeeeeeelicious. The creme brûlée truffle is the most amazing truffle ever and I would possibly give my left arm for a room full of them lol. The pennuche(sorry if I butchered the spelling lol) fudge is amazing, too. Nice and creamy, sweet, but not overly sweet. Hilliards is a must if you're in Hanover.

Yelp
Their candy apples are just absolutely unbelievable! I highly recommend them!
