We love visiting the farmers market. We bought some peaches and made delicious peach crumble bread and flan! The farmers market is not too big but has plenty of fresh produce.

Google
Great variety, interesting vendors and family friendly. Peace of Soap is an unusually knowledgeable herbologist and targets your individual skin to soap. They have additional products; not just soap. Spoil yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Google
This is a great Farmers Market with a good variety of local vendors who are very nice and knowledgeable. The fruit from here always seems to be sweeter and tastier than that from other local farmers markets. Oh and also, great food available here too!

The best seasonal bouquets at a competitive price. Local artists, restaurants, small businesses, and farmers. Great neighborhood. Free samples at most booths. By the blue line MAX. Free parking lots, parking garages, and street parking nearby.

Google
went early great selection of many eating places, fruit, breads, veggies, pies etc. Also use your food stamp card to get double the money worth-well worth it. Look forward going on Sundays as long as the market is there.

Google
The farmer's market here by new seasons is by far one of the best I've ever been to: it is late in the season and yet there are still such a wide variety of organic local products. I suggest talking to all the farmers and people here that sell local veggies fruits and other products, they are all so nice to talk to and very friendly. Even though the farmer at Wingham farms did not have any duck eggs for me today, i was still able to stay in contact with him so that I could potentially purchase some in the winter. Like I said, I recommend going here and checking out what they have seasonally: they even had pumpkins for the holidays!

We loved this place. We love to buy fruit here. It's just great to stay here with your family or children. Homemade tomatoes are very tasty.

Google
It was a beautiful day for a stroll in the farmer's market. There was a lot of local produce (all reasonably priced) and so many food options. Lots of plants for sale from.local nurseries. There was a Giveaway for Father's day and my husband won a bag of goodies along with three beautiful plants. Fun place, very friendly people and lots of things to choose from! I highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
This farmers market is a little less hectic I'd say, and I dig it! Nestled in a square parking lot, next to a few small businesses and a New Seasons, is the Orenco Farmers Market. Many times I've seen it and many times I've avoided it. But now I regret not checking it out the first time they opened up a few years ago. Here's a few tips and details: * Parking * Most folks park in the New Seasons parking lot, or down the residential streets. The times I've been here, the lot has never been full. So I've never had any issue finding parking. * Favorite Vendors * ~ The Pie Guy - out of North Plains. If you yelp that, you'll see why he's different. Love their variety of pies. ~ Pilgrim's Roasted Nut'z - Another North Plains favorite! You can literally go nuts buying more than one bag. ~ Kookido - UGH, mochi-filled cookies! I'm a mochi lover and chewy soft cookie kind of guy. These are heaven in a container! ~ Pablo Munoz Fruits - I'm all about their peaches and berries! ~ Martinez Family Farms - Come here early for these guys. They always have a long line to pay. ~ Favorite Produce - I dig their fresh flower bouquets. ~ Helvetia Vineyards & Winery - Another local wine favorite. Try a sample! ~ Baird Family Orchards - mmm mmm, gotta love them peaches! Especially their Sweet Sue yellow peaches. ~ Our Little Farm and Nursery - Haven't bought anything from these guys, but they're the ones that freshly roast peppers. People love'em! ~ Slow Rise Bakehouse - Located out of Forest Grove. Check out my ROTD for them ;) ~ Thompson Farms - The "pear guy"! He's picking bosc pears soon. I cannot wait! ~ Papa's Sunflower Seeds - Flavored roasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds. These are the guys that do team fundraising. ~ Ochoas Catering & Events - Necessito burrito! They wrap up fat burritos (and more) and their salsas are simply el mejor! For the most part, if it's a hot summer day, the market can close a bit early due to excessive heat. I've yet to go here on a rainy day. But in closing for my next visit, I'm trying the pasta lady, the hot sauce guy, and the fresh mini donuts. Oh and the mouthful momo stand. Support your locals folks!

Yelp
I love this vibrant and diverse farmers market. There a lot of organically grown vegetables and natural products. Parking is pretty good.

Yelp
I absolutely love visiting Orenco Station - Hillsboro market for the first time last weekend. From the moment you step foot into the market, you're greeted with the vibrant colors of fresh produce, hand-craft goods, yummy food, and more! It's a good opportunity to support local and small. Parking wasn't an issue as there is desinated parking areas in apartment lots in front of the market. My favorite part was the local food vendors! We grabbed momos (delicious), tacos (best tacos in Oregon in my opinion), and hummus. HIGHLIGHT OF MY WEEKEND! S/O to Ochoa Catering and Events and Hummus Spot for putting my partner and I in our taco and hummus era. The service from these vendors were great and it was fun chatting about how their business started. Orenco Station - Hillsboro market is laid back and a good break from the hustle and bustle of city life. We will be back!

Yelp
Smaller market but has a good selection and easy to get in and out of quickly. There is a really good sourdough bakery here. Parking is easy. There are a couple lots and some parallel parking.

Yelp
Love so much about this farmers market, the layout, easy parking, tons of fruits and veggies. Everything I purchased tasted amazing, I could become a vegetarian living next to this market. Will make sure to visit this farmers market every time I'm in Portland, which is often!

Yelp
I visited the Orenco Farmers Market on the last two weekends that they were open in October 2024, and it is a lovely farmers market with a nice variety of vendors. I went back the second time to specifically get pastries from Shirin Pastries. During my first visit, I bought her cookies, and they were so delicious and light with just the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet. I bought more the second visit and to try her baklava. The owner/baker is very nice. I'm hoping she'll return to this location this year.

Yelp
Sweet and quaint Farmers Market here in Orenco. They do the most possible within the confines of a small venue. Fresh veggies & flowers, little booths of art & trinkets, as well as a variety of meal options. There's a good amount of street parking around, as well as a decent sized lot. I live nearby so I enjoy walking through often. Today I decided to try out the RB Wok & Grill tent for lunch...the smell dragged me in. While awaiting our lunch I was peeking at Mythical Mini Donuts next to RB...the staff noticed and offered us a sample, and yep that worked, SOLD. Little cinnamon pillows of goodness. We got home with our lunches and were equally happy with them. Extremely fresh, great flavors and huge portions. Check out the Hillsboro Farmers Market before it ends this season!

Yelp
It's a tradition for us to walk to Orenco farmers market every Sunday morning and get pastries from Slow Rise Bakehouse, European style bread from Nana Cardoon, veggies and mushrooms from Sparrowhawk farm, and organic eggs from Santos farm. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and they care a lot about the quality of their produce and ingredients. I wish this market was year-round! Oh and the flowers at this market are beautiful too I got them for mom and got lots of compliments.

Yelp
*Phee phee* - TriMet horn. I must declare being able to visit Oregon from time to time is a good thing. It's not a very noisy farmers because of its size but sure feels good to walk around and look for the organic food that Oregon is known for. You can even sample some of the food that the vendors are selling. Grab a bite! As with the first sentence, I never seen any farmers market that can be more transit friendly than this. I am not a big visitor to the Orenco District but does feel good. In addition to the food you can find flowers, arts and crafts for a very good price. Note: If you are a dog owner please make sure your pets don't wander, they must be on a leash. As with any farmer's market please check the quality of what you buy because they could be defective.

Yelp
This is a fun local market with several food truck options, pretty easy parking, and a good variety of vendors. It is on the smaller side but still plenty of fruits and veggies, plants & flowers, baked goods, wine (including wine tasting!), non-dairy coffee creamers, fresh fish, pottery, hazelnuts, and SO much more. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, and a bagful of goodies for dinner. The vendors I have talked with are all friendly and have great ideas of ways to use their products. (Coffee creamer over hot oatmeal? Yes please!)

Yelp
It's been a while since I visited the Hillsboro farmers market so I decided to stop by today before it got too hot. And I'm so glad I did! I had a wonderful time strolling through the market. It's everything you'd want in a farmers market. No junk or gimmicks. Just a rich selection of high quality, beautiful, local berries, produce, honey, wine, spirits, food, and crafts. Brilliant!
google avatar

Josi C.

Yelp
Very clean and organized Farmer's Market with a good selections of Food trucks especially our favorite Westside Pizza. All vendors are very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Love having a farmers market so close to home! This one isnt too big so it doesnt get that crowded. Although there are lines to purchase, of course, the vendors are so quick and check us out very fast. Dont forget to bring a bag for your purchases. Most of the vendors have them available but we should help them keep their costs down.
google avatar

Yelp
Four stars for having an outdoor market with a good variety of booths. One star off for its small total size and the lack of a mechanism whereby there's some rotation of vendors. After a couple of visits, the lack of change is a bit stultifying, which bummed me out. I wanted to discover new things every few visits. The variety is great! What did I see on my two visits? * South African biltong and drörwors * Homemade ghee * Chocolate truffle (or is it fudge) * fresh bread * specialty meats * fresh vegetables & flowers * some boutique alcohols * a few vendors with ready-to-eat hot food and a lot more. It's a market deserving of a bigger city audience, but I'm glad it's here in wee Hillsboro.

Yelp
It is a place I went a lot on Monday morning, all kinds of organic vegetables and farm flowers. I also like to deal with my breakfast there. There are several food carts serving yummy food with reasonable price. Love it.

Yelp
Somewhere in the 3 star plus range, our first visit to the Hillsboro Saturday market was good enough that we look forward to visiting again next season. This little market deserves a big round of applause for effort and we thought the location in downtown Hillsboro, along with the Civic Center, was charming. But the range of and quality of vendors there made this market come in at less than four stars for us. Maybe that's because we had just come from the Beaverton Saturday market which is a "Woohoo Plus" effort. http://www.yelp.com/biz/beaverton-farmers-market-beaverton#hrid:EMXHwUk5oU1-6BqCfvkiDw/src:self As a good thing, parking was pretty easy to find on the street within a couple of blocks of the Hillsboro market location. There were other things to like about this Hillsboro market too. Including accessible street location. Including some vendors who seemed to be offering truly homegrown or home created products. For Market shoppers who like to have craft vendors included, worth noting there are craft vendors at the Hillsboro market. (Some markets, like Beaverton, Hillsdale, and the Portland PSU market are purely food and agriculture centric.) So in many ways the Hillsboro market seemed more like a community street fair market than a serious Farmers Market. Most of the shoppers seemed to be congregated at the Civic Center location, enjoying the fountain and the music and not actually buying much from the vendors. The (very nice) Starbuck's at that location was the only seller with a line. Which leads me to a tip about the Hillsboro downtown Market. If you need to use the loo. No need for porta potty here, as in many other market locations. The Civic Center building, which is open on Saturday mornings, has public bathrooms on the second floor - just hike the stairs or take the elevator and there you are. Nice.

Yelp
It's our first ever farmers market visit after moving to Hillsboro and was fun going there. There's about 75 vendors, mix of food vendors, bakery products and lot of local farmers. I'm only giving 4 stars as there's lack of variety for vegetables, there were just few vendors for vegetables and other vendors were selling mostly berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries), was surprised not to see other types of fruits than berries. Two vendors were floral and they had beautiful fresh flowers and lot to choose from ($10 up). I saw few food vendors (Greek, Asian, Tacos), can't expect a whole lot there but food was decent. Haven't seen boba booths but this market has one. Parking can be hassle if you go late. I'd definitely go again as it's near by, has fare amount of choice for produce and fruits (mostly berries), nice crowd with mostly families. I think Oregon is gifted for berries:)

Yelp
I love this place. Everything is super fresh packed, picked, caught just yesterday! Each booth is not only sells super fresh produce, fruits, meats, flowers, and so many more other things, but the people here are so friendly! We got a half flat of freshly picked super sweet berries for $18! What a steal! Lots of food stations from gyros, Mexican, Asian, to drink places with great value and amazing freshness. Love this about Oregon!

Yelp
This farmers market is not over crowded and there are lots of shops to get your local produce from. They have food stands like Ethiopian, Mexican, mini do nuts, Mediterranean, etc. The truck sells pop corn as well. Great Harvest Bread and there are other local bakery shops too for pies and macaroons. You can taste GHB's bread samples here with oodles of honey butter, garlic butter on top:). The vegetables and fruits are not overly priced. I specially love buying veggies from Nuts about Berries. There is a live music band playing at one side. You have local shops selling soaps, oils, jewelry, flowers, eggs, fish etc. and stands selling local berries too. The timings are 10am -2pm every Sunday. The parking is ample and you can use New Season's / Kithcen Kaboodle parking lot as well.

Yelp
What is not to love about the Hillsboro Farmers' Market? Conveniently located in the parking lot across from New Seasons, this Farmers' Market is the perfect size that you can get around without trouble and not wait too long in any line. There are still a few options each for fresh fruits and veggies, as well as few other places carrying things like eggs, meat, flowers or potted plants. Food vendors include bubble tea, Mexican, gyros, barbecue, popcorn, Ethiopian, waffles, and sandwiches. The best part is that people bring their dogs and you get to see, and sometimes meet, some lovely, friendly (and well behaved) canines on top of the shopping and people watching!

Yelp
One of my most favorite farmers markets!! Has a very diverse set of stalls, not just fruit/veg. They have art, spirits and wine, plants, a couple fresh flower stands, fresh food, a band or singer, you name it! Dogs ok! It's in a great spot, located in the parking lot behind Orenco Grill. Be sure to check this one out!
google avatar

Bryce Y.

Yelp
I consider it to be a smaller farmer market, 2-3 produce stands, quite a variety of foods and treats, homemade jewelry and crafts, and alot of other food stands (Fish,Meats, etc) The farmers market is every Sunday, and there is an ample amount of parking in the parking lots near by. I personally go there for my weekly produce, buying a good size head of lettuce for $1.75, Asparagus $4.00/per bunch, just to give you a price range of produce.

O2o O.

Yelp
I used to be a vendor at this market, and I have to say from working other farmers markets in Oregon and in California, the farmers market manager of this specific market was incredibly, blatantly rude. I understand the need to be precise, organized and detail oriented to make sure the entire process goes smooth however I felt as if she was very unkind throughout the start to end of the whole market. Being very rude when I would ask any questions, I even got to the markets very early to make sure I did everything correctly and she still found something to be unkind to me about. I spoke with other vendors as well that also felt the same way, her condescending tone and unprofessional approach was 100% not what I signed up for, this is a farmers market event and although it's important to make sure all goes well, she made it unbearable for me which is why I ultimately dropped out. I will not be returning again solely for the reason she is in charge of this market which is a shame because the vendors are phenomenal. Very unfortunate.

Yelp
Love the Orenco market. Lots of food and shops. Close to New Seasons and Kitchen Kaboodle.

Cody C.

Yelp
Good amount of vendors here. The locations downtown and Orenco are easily accessibly by TriMet or car. Ample space to walk around. Quality products.
google avatar

Tom S.

Yelp
It's close, but there really is only one both that is from the farm that has a variety of vegetables. There are a couple of food boths, and there is usually a band playing which is nice. I just wish there were a couple more farms represented at this market.
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
One of my favorite farmers market. I was s big early in the season but still plenty of vendors here. One thing I felt was out of place were the couple selling Xfinity Cable service. Kinda felt it would be nice to not see corporate America at a farmers market so I totally ignored them when they attempted to talk to (sell) us.

Mona B.

Yelp
I like Orenco Farmers Market so much better than Beaverton Farmers Market - no really, I do and here's why: - parking: this one is a biggie for me. Lots of parking either at the New Seasons or lots of shaded street parking around. - crowd: I go at 10am when they're just opening, so I haven't had any over-crowd issue here. - vendors: it's definitely small, but there are only a few vendors I frequent anyway and they're at this market, so I'm perfectly okay with the choices. - dogs: yes, unlike Beaverton market, this one allows dogs. I thoroughly enjoy petting all the dogs :)
google avatar

Amber C.

Yelp
Hard to judge on one day alone--I'll update later--but I was very impressed with this little market. It has a little bit of everything, from the produce to baked goods to spices to booze to flowers. The music and picnic tables are a great touch, and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for allowing well behaved dogs! We appreciate it.

Yelp
Excellent! Great food, fun, and overall wonderful! Go every Tuesday night, and try to go Saturday morning.!!! Mini donuts, Unger Berries, and sooooooo much more.

T C.

Yelp
We enjoyed ourselves here. We ate under a canopy with some friendly strangers, and brought goodies home. There are options. Parking was very simple and it was a decent spot to walk about.

Yelp
I usually go to the Orenco location. It's got a great variety of produce, crafts, and baked goods! I love the Pie guy, mini doughnuts, and Great Harvest stands especially, while my friends like the ethiopian and BBQ stands. The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because the breakfast/lunch food stands are a little lacking ever since they lost a few of their regulars. I miss the sausage, burger, and smoothie vendors!

mike l.

Yelp
Don't care too much for the Saturday market in Hillsboro. There is a lot of price-fixing there....not much of a 'free trade" market when the prices are fixed. Meaning that one of the bigger veg-pushers seem to control what the other smaller booth's are charging for the same vegetables and etc. Also, the german sausage booth is not all that great, the dude is surly and acts like he's doing the market a favor by being there. Two years ago I was ignored for 15 minutes while he was putting the make on some older german chick, hadn't brought any thing there since. My son tried it a couple times and got bad stomach cramps. Tuesday market, in Hillsboro, thank goodness, it done for the season, it needs some one to run it right when they open in the spring. Person running it now, thinks little Hillsboro is Calif bound...

Anu G.

Yelp
I like the fresh produce over here. Some of the treats and crafts tend to be a little pricey but it's a nice way to spend your afternoon out.
