Very clean room great amenities very impressed with a housekeeper who found a very valuable wedding band that fell and I lost it and she loved it in a very visible place. When I got back to my room. Next time I do business in that area I will be staying at your hotel.!! I also wanna add that the area to grab snacks was wonderful. Fair prices room was a little cold when I got there, but the guy from maintenance came up made a minor adjustment and everything was wonderful after that.

The hotel is nice. Sort of interesting, because it’s 30 some floors high, in a triangle with only 9-10 rooms on a floor. |The bathroom is dark - there’s only a lighted mirror, but no overhead light, so the shower is kind of like taking a shower (or bath) in a cave lit from the entrance. |Not a lot of food offerings at dinner time. The sushi was good, but basically, it’s food at the lobby bar. Breakfast is the usual buffet. |Staff was very nice and helpful (esp when the whole parking thing didn’t work as expected).

This hotel has an absolutely fantastic General Manager based on the way that the hotel staff treat the customers. At check-in I requested a specific room and was granted the room with no problems. Padma is definitely a Front Desk Ambassador!The Market Place is a wonderful addition to the lobby allowing Cafe Style takeout and great Coffee Service. In addition, the gentleman who works mornings is a true Barrista. and provided superb customer service. It snowed while I was visiting and I was allowed to move my handicapped space to the covered garage for my safety. I'm from Florida and can't drive in snow. Its the little things that count@ Lastly, the housekeepers were also excellent. The rooms are not the most chic or aesthetic in Washington but the customer service, meal and beverage service and Hilton Honors recognition completely outweigh any negatives. Thanks to the General Manager and the outstanding staff. This will be my new home whenever I visit Alex. Kind regards.

We have not stayed in a hotel in over 10 years due to all the long term travel we do qith work and we use air bnbs to stay in. We were able to book a room last minute with no problem. The rooms were great and stocked with everything we needed. After a great over night rest, we had an amazing breakfast downstairs. They had an omelet and waffle bar with all the fixings. Plus several more options on the buffet line. We highly recommend Richard making you one of his yummy omelets. The staff walked around the dining room making sure you had everything you needed. Exceptional dining! Thank you to all the staff at the Alexandria Hilton for a great stay!

Omgosh, I have to start by saying these beds are so comfortable! I had such a great stay here. I came in with about a thousand questions, and Mario at the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable and patient He really made everything easy. And the breakfast was wonderful! Esther, who was working there, was so kind. She caught me before I’d had my coffee and I must have looked lost I was dragging, and she greeted me with such warmth assisting me with finding something for a picky eater (me🤭). Overall, an amazing experience. Highly recommend! Thank you Hilton Alexandria Mark I can’t wait to go back!

Great Hotel lobby was nice, rooms were decent nothing special, room service was really good. Elevators were fast but walls were kinda thin so you could hear a lot. Can get some great views.

Nice hotel! Great experience! My stay during a big student organization trip was truly made better thanks to Ms. Breanna Jones. What started as a not-so-good moment quickly turned around because of her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Ms. Jones went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of, and her warm personality made all the difference. I also appreciate that the General Manager personally addressed the matter and offered a sincere apology for the assistant manager’s lack of understanding and hospitality. Their willingness to listen and respond showed true leadership and commitment to guest satisfaction. Thank you, Ms. Jones, for turning a challenging moment into a great experience!

I attended the DC Dance Challenge and stayed at the hotel for three days. Every employee at the Hilton was very professional and courteous. One employee, Gamal, treated us as if we were family. On our first morning, we arrived late for breakfast, but he stopped everything to accommodate us, and we were incredibly grateful. Because of him, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel before venturing out each day. Thank you for making our trip feel like a visit with family!

Works for the price. In need of renovation but the room was clean and service was great. Location is only good if you need to be in the area. Its not walkable or near anything else

Everything here is an up charge. We stayed here for a body building show weekend, and they charged every person who was here for the show a 25$ linen fee per night. I always bring a sleep sack with me to keep the bedsheets clean. Parking is 30$ a night, a can of lacroix is 3$, they charge you for to go boxes at $1 each. Elevators are insanely slow, you're sometimes waiting for 10 min to catch a ride up or down. Beds aren't comfortable, there isn't a microwave in the rooms. We signed a sheet of paper saying we understood that cleaning comes every 3 days only, yet they came into our room after the first night to clean.

Hubby and I had a quick overnight date night. You have to pay to park in the garage. $33 overnight (access in and out) or you can pay $18 a night, but I don't think you have the same access. They do offer a continental breakfast I believe, but we didn't get a chance to try it. Overall, The room was clean and front desk lady was nice. We would stay again!

Great hotel right across the street from the Mark Center. The Pro's: Right across the street from the Mark Center Wonderful breakfast with extremely friendly staff Expansive market with food teams and restaurant for dinner 30 stories high for a great city views Cons: The internet was out off and on for a few days. Slow elevators during peak hours Overall great experience when working at the Mark Center.

Pros: The front desk staff were amazing. They were friendly and inviting. I spoke with someone on just about every shift and got the same vibe from everyone. The property was clean. My room was clean. The location was great. They do have parking which is $30 a day. Cons: The light switch in the bathroom wasn't working. They did get it fixed the next day. The ice machines on my floor and several other floors wasn't working. I was on the hunt for ice going to 4 different floors before I found a working ice machine. I informed the front desk of which ones were not working and where I did find ice. The rooms come with a fridge but no microwave. The microwave and vending machines are all on the lower level which is inconvenient. I'm a Hilton Honors member and I have been to better properties.

I stayed from a Sunday night through Thursday in January on a work trip. The stay was average. The room was nice and clean. Good service at Finn & Porter (restaurant inside the hotel). The hotel staff was friendly. I thought the gym was awful. I use hotel gyms a lot when I travel. It was clear to me this hotel threw some equipment in a room just to say they had a gym. There were never any towels and it didn't seem like it had been cleaned (I went every day). Overall, average. Would I stay here again? Only if it was incredibly convenient to the reason I visited. Otherwise, I'd give another hotel a chance.

Great stay! I was there for a conference and enjoyed my stay. Great service from the entire team. Convenient location from DCA. I didn't spend too much time in the room but when I did, I was comfortable and enjoyed my relaxing time. I would return if my travels find me back in this area.

The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable however, 1. At check in I was told I'd have to pay $33 a day for parking. I'm here for 2-weeks so that's another $700 added on to my $3500 bill. 2. Get to my room (I requested a room with a mini-fridge). The mini-fridge is circa 1979, is super small, and barely gets below room temperature. 3. The ice machine on my floor was broken. I phoned the front desk to let them know and request a bucket of ice be sent up. Receptionist places me on hold, comes back on the line and says the ice machines on 10, 13, and 16 "should be working". I ask if I can have ice brought to my room and I'm told no. Found a competing hotel that was $50 bucks a night cheaper for suite. Parking was $17 a day (which I still think is stupid if you're a guest at the hotel) instead of $33, the ice machines worked, and it had a half star better review. All in all I was not impressed with the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. Do not recommend, will mot be back.

Major flaw: nothing is clean. From the rooms to all of the amenities, absolutely filthy.

I needed someplace to stay for the night near Reagan Airport. This was a good location, the right price point, had parking, and I felt comfortable with the brand name enough to truly expect the room to be comfortable as well. Staff downstairs got me checked in quickly. From there I was directed to parking. We got parked, and found our way inside. I thought we had missed the elevator because we were coming up on a wedding party, but when we asked the staff working the wedding they assured us we were headed the right direction. Our room was on the 19th floor overlooking the city. The room was clean, comfortable, much larger than I expected, and was perfect for what we needed. Next time we are back in the area, this will definitely be at the top of my list of places to stay.

Staff was pleasant but rooms are desperately in need of update. They smell very stale, stained carpet. Bathroom doesn't appear clean as tile and walls are stained. Beds are very basic. Bathrooms are small in comparison to other hotels of same price. I travel nearly every week for work and see a lot of hotels. Have been to this one every year for many years and it just seems to get more and more run down. One highlight is the updated shop with a selection of snacks and coffee.

More staff, more working elevators, better location, reasonable parking rates, a concierge, a working swimming pool as advertised, room cleaning more than every fifth day.

Warning to future guests: Our room at Hilton Alexandria Mark Center was broken into-we lost over $4,000 in personal belongings. Another family member's room was hit the night before, on a completely different floor. There are no cameras on any guest floors. No cameras in the elevators. The only people with access are cleaning staff, and it's hard not to believe this was an inside job. We called the police and filed a report. The hotel knew-but did absolutely nothing. No escalation. No resolution. No accountability. To make it worse, they've now disabled comments on their Instagram posts after being flooded with complaints from other guests. They're still posting wedding reels and pretending this hotel is safe. It's not. You put yourself at real risk staying here.

The hotel is a bit run down and it is not close to anything. It's okay but would like to find a place where it's walking distance to local restaurants. Close to Alexandria town is a plus!

The event at the Hilton Mark Center located at 5500 Seminary Road Alexandria, Va was very well received by the hotel staff. Mario was very kind, professional, and delivered superior customer service. I recommend this establishment for mall, medium, and large events. You will not be dissapointed.

Last minute reservation for one night stay. King bed, clean, spacious room with quick meal downstairs in their market space. $259 total included the pizza, panini, boiled eggs and water bottles. Look at the eyelashes.

Old, tired dirty. People smoke in rooms fire alarm goes off. Button panel in elevator falling off. Furniture ancient and chipped. Can't belie I paid 350 for this dump. Hotel should be demolished would cost a billion to renovate.

This was the biggest disappointment of any Hilton Hotel I ever stayed in. Manager on duty was rude and found out after speaking to Hilton customer service a liar. Blamed difficulties on third party booking, have booked Hilton's through the same 3rd party never difficulties like this. Their website says all rooms have a pull out sofa and was suited for 4. That was one problem they could have solved but since it was for Cherry Blossoms and we were only going to be sleeping there we made due. After an issue with breakfast, we asked the manager to take care of the issue and was completely rude and incompetent. Felt like he was using the opportunity to take a customer to task. Was told he doesn't care if I ever stay with Hilton again. Wouldn't be the answer I would have if I am the face of a company. This was before he got really nasty. All over a $50, runny eggs, cold sausage, and canned orange juice. We were being nice for how bad our reservation was screwed up. Also if you are handicapped don't try to park if it's busy. At night they make you park on the top level, if you can park on the top level, there were no parking spots. There are handicap parking on the lower levels but they lock the doors on the bottom levels and leave the top level wide open. They say it's for security but does that sound secure? Also they lock the outer doors but have a system but on the door inside the vestibule has a card reader? We couldn't even get into our room without walking the whole way around, with a handicap person! After calling Hilton customer service did they fix my issue. No they wanted everything including a sample of blood and your first born child. Anything to keep a buck they didn't earn. I'll never stay at this hotel ever again.

$32 per night to park in an area with signs "Park at your own risk." $100 deposit on top of what I paid on my credit card. Sub par service. Ready to check out of here now...

The stay was wonderful and the room & view were beautiful, but the pool hours are not convenient. The pool is open from 3PM - 9PM on the weekdays. By time I checked in at 8:30 PM it was too late once I settled in, only staying for a night.

We stayed at Hilton Alexandria at Mark Center for 4 days and 3 nights and our stay was exceptional as the room was spacious, clean, and has a scenic lush view. It was a plus that the hotel was strategically situated near our desired destinations when we travelled via car to different groceries, Pentagon City, DC, etc. But what made our stay really comfortable and unforgettable was the exceptional warm service and very accomodating presence of Ms. Virginia L. from the hotel front desk. :) She was truly so helpful and attentive to our inquiries and was so professionally friendly to the hotel guests especially to us. Another plus factor was their breakfast buffet that was great and filling and was even made better by Esther and Gamal's service which was always paired with warm greetings and great smiles every morning. Overall, we were delighted with our stay here and so we even have recommended this place to some of our relatives. Now, they already booked their stay here at Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. So grateful to the mentioned staff! :)

This was the most disappointing hotel stay I have ever had. First thing I noticed was that there was no hand soap next the sink. Then when I turned to use the soap dispenser in the shower, I found it to be COMPLETELY EMPTY! So NO SOAP! Next, my daughter wanted to turn on the TV. NO REMOTE! When I went to make a cup of tea before bed, I discovered there were NO CUPS! Housekeeping delivered hand soap, remote and cups quickly (thank you!), but the coffee machine made less than half a cup of tea with the remainder of the water all over the tray and counter. My husband SLEPT ON THE FLOOR because the mattress was so lumpy and squishy that he was unable to sleep in it. We are frequent campers, so please don't think I'm particularly picky about hotels. I can also sleep comfortably on the ground, but I resent spending nearly $200 a night for the privilege. This is a poorly maintained Hilton. It looks "modern" and expensive on the surface, but it is only expensive in price. Find another Alexandria hotel! Addendum: Cassidy was extremely prompt responding to my concerns and credited one night's stay. I must say the staff was very professional and courteous.

My stay at @hiltonalexandria_mc was AMAZING! Hilton Alexandria Mark Center is located adjacent to the Winkler Botanical Preserve. It's within five miles of Pentagon City, Old Town Alexandria and just four miles from Ronald Reagan Airport and King Street Metro stations. The vibe of the hotel was very upscale. I liked that they had authentic art painting from #artsalx which really tied the hotels lobby and the modern furniture together. The hotel has various levels which I didn't get to explore, but they have four restaurants @finnandporterhilton which is an award-winning restaurant serving fresh fine dining and an extensive drinks selection. The second restaurant is the Sushi Bar which offers world class sushi in a warm, romantic setting. The Sushi Bar is a great addition to Finn & Porter. Third restaurant is the Mark Center Market a Grab & Go concept called the Mark Center Market is located on the lobby level and is your one-stop shop for anything from a casual meal to a quick cup of Coffee. The fourth restaurant is VINO lobby bar which is bar that has cocktails and select wines. Friendly service that keeps the energy coming. This hotel is a dump. It looks nice aesthetically when you walk in, but the rooms need a lot of work. Our room has a large stain on the carpet, there's no vent or fan in the bathroom and the wallpaper is peeling off. And everything is an up charge. Sure, we're pet friendly - $50 extra. We have parking - $28 a night. We have breakfast - $17 each. No microwaves in the room. Just two in the lobby. At least the staff is friendly.

I stayed at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in March 2023 for a national convention that I attended. The hotel and property are very nice. The decor is tasteful. They have a display of local art in the lobby. The room rate was reasonable by booking the room and parking through the event that I was attending. The hotel is very well kept and clean. The parking garage that adjoins the hotel was also well kept and clean. There was hotel staff present all throughout the facility. My only comment is that a number of the hotel elevators were not working during my stay which made the wait for an elevator to be a little bit long at times. Because all of the hotel rooms are located on the upper floors having the elevators go out is not an ideal situationn. The staff at the front desk were very professional and courteous. It was obvious that the front desk staff have a lot of customer service experience. I will definitely plan to stay here again in the future. Good experience!

Check-in went as expected no thing special. The guy who checked me in had great customer service. I really enjoyed the small talk we had. Also check-in starts a 4pm but they offer early check-in. The rooms are nothing special. Room service So PLEASE BEWARE they have lots of additional fees for room service. And you only get an itemized receipt if you ask for one. And the tack gratuity in there already. I feel like I was duped from one of the room service people. He told me my total was $40. I gave him $45. So I called later in the day to express my concerns come to find out my bill was only $30 and I did ask for my extra $15 back. Also prices for room service is more than it is at Finn & porter and less portions. Pool Kendrick who is a life guard makes up his own rules. So it's no splashing, no jumping in and no loud talking. So much for bringing your kids to have a bit of fun. I asked him are there any additional rules that are not posted that he want to tell us. After I asked him he looked ate the rules that were posted. I complained to the front desk she said well he's tending to the pool and he sets the rules. But the night before the older guy was very nice and helpful. No ridiculous made up rules I gave two stars because I don't like how the porter tried to get over on the money situation. Also I don't like how management handled it initially. And I didn't like the made up pool rules

Check in could not have been better. they did their job and got me onto a better rate. The view was pretty good too the hour I looked at it. The rest "Could have been better." The upcharges are consistent: they are high and they are for things other hotels give for free (Holiday Inn in particular). The wi-fi is tied to a room and thus requires a VPN to be used without tracking. Parking is not free. When I was there the escalator was broken, which you might expect to work, but gave me more steps (+1 star). There is one restraunt within walking distance, which is sort of phoning it in as well, but it's short walk which is nice, and it was outside of the compound, which was nice too. It is only worth going to if you stay at the hilton, otherwise there are much better restaurants in a 10 min. drive. I stay there whenever I have to. At least it was on brand, looked nice, hard to use.

I've stayed here twice now. Rooms are good. Beds are comfy. Tv works. Bathroom is a tad dark. I really like the counter in the rooms. The restaurant is tasty and breakfast is very good. The market has lots of options but hours could be improved. There's no place to get coffee at until 6am except your room. I'd stay here again.

10/22/21 Although I did not get to see to much of this hotel, because I was working, I liked what I saw from just the hotel lobby. Cop week happened to be be going on at this hotel; as well, as activities going on from the hotel to downtown DC. I was there to pick cops and their families and take them to the airport. While waiting around for passengers, I saw there is a Starbucks/gift shop near the lobby. This Starbucks did not look like a full functioning Starbucks, but for serious coffee drinkers who can't function without their morning coffee, this will do. I saw there is a bar near the lobby for those who need a drink and to see what is playing on the television. Lots of seating around the lobby area to sit and talk like you were Loki. Oh, no?! Am I mistaken? Loki doesn't like to talk? Anyways, the Bellmen/Concierge are in the middle of the lobby to assist guests with whatever questions or assistance they need. They may get some unusual requests, but that is what makes the job more fun. Yes, I myself have experienced such things when I worked in a hotel. I might consider myself or a friend to work for this hotel. I had great vibes from this hotel. *If there is one thing to fix, it would be the toilet paper going over the roll, not under...check the photo.*

I stayed at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center for 5 nights. My room smelled of mould and had the occasional cockroach make an appearance. No one cleaned my room for the 5 nights I was here. I stay at a lot of hotels (Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG Diamond, and Marriott Titanium), so I know the drill and am somewhat forgiving. So what made this my worst stay in a hotel for 2022? - No Diamond upgrade - No room cleaning - Additional guests present (cockroaches) - Smelled of mold - No 4:00 pm late check-out as part of my promised Hilton Diamond benefits - I had 2 reservations as part of my stay, and I got a hostile call from a manager asking why I hadn't checked out DESPITE mentioning this multiple times and having my key re-activated - Escalator wasn't working so going to the conference room involved taking the elevator down 1 flight from the lobby. - Cleaning staff and front desk appear to be understaffed - Water leaked from the shower curtains Only reason I haven't given it a no-star rating is because they had plenty of healthy plant-based options present. Healthier for me, the animals, and the environment!

I'm on the west coast and got woken up at 5:30 AM by my goddaughter crying and frustrated at her experience at this hotel location. Shame on you for not resolving REAL issues! She told y'all there are bed bugs in the room, and your solution was enter the room without permission (after explicitly being asked not to) removing all the towels and trash cans without replacing them, and THEN moved her and her boyfriend to an even dirtier room with no toilet paper and dirty tissues strewn about? Bed bugs is a major issue, that isn't being taken seriously by your staff because of the guests age and inexperience, or frankly because they just don't care. How will you reciting the situation immediately because she can't travel cross country with bed bugs in her clothing and luggage, we all know how easily they can spread and how hard they are to get rid of. #hiltondontcare #hiltongavemebedbugs #hiltonalexandriahasbedbugs

I dont get the negative reviews on this location? The lobby is nice and clean, theirs ample parking, a great bar, and the rooms are great! They put me on the 25th floor in a corner room which gave me a nice view of the Washington Monument and a few other historical landmarks! I was really happy with this place overall, but was not happy with the coffee gift shop! That place sucked! I went the first day and ordered a large Iced Coffee with an extra shot and it tasted like cowpie! It took forever! The next day I went for a few souvenirs and the line took 18 minutes! I couldnt believe how long they took to ring people up but the ladies behind the counter just kept talking and laughing with one another instead of taking care of the long line of patrons. The store legit deserves 0 to 1 star, but the rest of the hotel deserves 5 stars!

On a quick trip to Alexandria over the weekend, we decided to stay at this Hilton location. Upon entry to the lobby, the receptionist area is tucked away off to the right. The hotel itself was very clean and the few staff members we encountered were pleasant. We were placed on the 27th floor which had a nice view overlooking the city (and the parking deck). Unfortunately what caused me to rate the location as a 3 (maybe even a 4) was how uncomfortable the bed was and overpriced self parking. Totally understand that NOVA parking is expensive in general. The bed itself was like sleeping on a brick (although the pillows were really soft and comfy). After getting back late to the hotel, we wanted to venture down to the restaurant Finns. The website said it was open until midnight however they closed by 11pm. I'd definitely recommend you bring wall chargers for your stay as the room did not have any USB ports. There is a barbershop located downstairs as well as an Amazon pickup location. Overall it is a decent hotel and it's pet friendly!

Let me be first state that I travel monthly for work. I stay in many hotels and this by far had some of the best customer service by far. Not only was the front desk staff amazing. But they even sent me a text message shortly after my arrival and check in asking how my room was! I was shocked that they were so efficient. The room was clean, and smelled pleasant. The last thing after a long travel you want is a bad or dirty room. The room service staff was very pleasant as well. Went as far and asking may they step in to place my order onto the table and inspecting it first to insure my order was correct. This was a great stay even thought it was a short stay. The hotel is large and beautiful. The parking garage was well lit and kept as well. Overall I will definitely make this one of my top locations to stay at when visiting Alexandria in the near future.

The hotel was ok. I would expect better from a Hilton. I was put off my even though all the materials in the hotel said the indoor pool was heated and open 7 days, this was not the case. Both the website and the in room amenities book stated the pool was open from 6-10pm weekdays and 10-10pm weekends. It was not open weekdays at all. When the pool was open it was not heated at all. Probably kept near the low 70s at best. Not even the kids could handle it. The wifi is spotty and I wouldn't recommend if you plan to get any online work done. I had also noticed pealing wall paper, stains on lamp and such also, their restaurant seemed pricey and slow to top it all off. They did have some nice employees but none seemed to be a

I started with an idea of coordinating a mega event for my Company's Annual Training Conference and Quarterly Training Conference, two major separate events; one involving almost 458 guest and the other 62 Guest. After intense research to ensure the best choice for an excellent stay which would provide the best concierge, phenomenal food attached to excellent prices. I'm not going to lie, I saw the 3 Stars on YELP and was a little apprehensive at first BUT after this week I am soooooooooo glad I made the decision to go with this HOTEL 100%. In my personal opinion, the 3 stars on YELP does not even come close to what the service really is here. Stating I am extremely happy I chose Hilton Alexander Mark Center is an understatement. I made my coordinations through Ms. Hillary Sales Manager | Special Markets, she made the entire process for both events go smooth and accommodated any immediate changes that where made on the spot. I bear true testament that the entire staff that works in the Hilton Alexander Mark Center provided the BEST customer service I have ever witness. They are literally the nicest people I have ever met within a Hotel. Where do I begin: The My co-workers and myself included where extremely happy and satisfied with all the rooms, the rooms where amazing, super clean with room service on point, their orders being delivered on time. An excellent choice if you want to be close to the Nation's Capitol Region if you want to experience some of the Historical Landmarks and Memorials which we all did. The restaurant, the buffet style breakfast along with the dinner was excellent; need to try the New York Strip with the Mash IT"S GREAT. The bar is the spot if you want to just be comfortable and have a couple of drink, although it was pretty packed, the service was immediate without a long wait to get your drinks. There is absolutely nothing I would honestly complain about this hotel and I strongly recommend the Hilton Alexander Mark Center with 5 Star, whether you are with your Family or coordinating a Company event. My colleagues and I had an amazing stay,. Loved the hotel and loved the customer service. Can't wait to re-visit.

Solid three star hotel located right off the interstate with on-site paid parking, Amazon locker, rental car services, and a restaurant with full bar. Although the paid parking is extremely tight which unfriendly attendants. Housekeeping delays prevented us from being able to check-in at 4:30pm which should have been remedied with some type compensation from the hotel but it was not. Housekeeping also failed to clean the room so I had to request sheets to turn down my own room. No one answers the front desk phone! I'm relieved this was a short stay.

Clean but showing a little wear. Room furnishings were a little dated but nice. Location wasn't too bad-fairly closed to a lot of the memorials.

This hotel is average but I am awarding two stars instead of three because nothing works and you have to pay for what most hotels typically provide for free: Wifi: "standard" (good for checking emails, according to their website) is free, but "premium" (good for steaming) comes at a charge. Housekeeping: it must be requested unless your stay exceeds 4 days. Don't expect anyone to replenish coffee, soap, or linens unless you specifically ask for it. If you do request it, however, it's complimentary. Room service: this hotel does not offer room service, despite the fact that the QR code displayed in every room leads to an "in-room dining" menu. On a related note, we ordered pizza and the hotel evidently doesn't allow food carriers to go upstairs, so be ready to pick up your food at the front desk. Elevators: expect to wait a while, and also be prepared to stop numerous times if your room isn't on one of the first few floors. And don't expect to ride alone; there will always be a group of people waiting and riding with you. Digital key: I downloaded the Hilton app so I could skip the check-in process at reception and access my room with a digital key. Skipping the line was very nice, but the digital key is glitchy and I ended up requesting a physical card as backup. My room: the room is clean enough (although the curtains are water stained and there are cobwebs behind them) but the people next door sound like they're in the same room as I am - the walls are quite thin, even by hotel standards. I have not used the pool or fitness center, not have I eaten at the bar or restaurant, but I can tell you that the conference rooms on the lower level are nice (but chilly - bring a jacket) and the buffet lunch provided for my on-site conference was very good.

My boyfriend booked a hotel room for us to spend the day and night together. We wanted to really enjoy the day as much as we could so we called the hotel to see if they would allow an early check in. They worked with us and allowed us to check in at noon as supposed to 4pm. This was very nice of them and it will make me want to come back. The room was very clean and spacious, we were very surprised beee that they had given us the room with a hot tub. My boyfriend said he had booked a room with a large king bed but that the hot tub was not included, he thought it wasn't available. So the hotel upgraded us to a bigger room with a bigger hot tub. This was very nice. The view was magnificent, we could see the whole city. Overall it was a great experience I just wish parking was included. The reception clerk was very friendly as we checked out. I think the hotel is well kept and it's clean. I would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for something in Alexandria very close to 395.

I stayed at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center because i was there for a school competition my son was competing in. Let me break down for by category why you don't want to stay at this hotel. First lets discuss the hotel facilities. 1) The temperature varied 15-20 degrees depending on the floor you were on in the 'Retreat building" The 3rd floor was somehow located in what i can only assume was the artic circle, while the 5th floor reminded me of a old trip to Iraq temperature wise. 2) It was rainy outside....and inside since as you walked around the hotel you would see buckets all over catching rain coming from the ceiling. Decor i honestly wasn't expecting for a Hilton. 3) There are no water fountains. Literally 0 in this hotel. This of course is not by accident and designed to get you to buy their $6 bottles of water. 4) The elevators are so incredibly rickety and creaky that literally every person i got in them with seemed nervous. 5) The gift shop (if you want to call it that) is the only place to get water as the vending machine was perpetually out. They sold all of their water for $6-7 a bottle there. Which is more than it would cost at the movie theatre. The Room 1) Whoever does the room cleaning and manages it is asleep at the wheel. 2) We had bug traps COVERED in bugs. 3) We had a wadded up hand towel stuffed in a drawer. (one can only imagine what that had been used for). 4) The AC had been turned OFF in the room so it was incredibly hot and muggy for the first night we arrived. The Restaurant 1) The Finn and Porter is the worst hotel restaurant i have ever been in. Go look at their yelp reviews and sort by recent. Be amazed. 2) In 3 days i was unable to have a breakfast there. Day 1 we went in the restaurant, they lost our ticket and only realized it 35 minutes later when we asked. By then it was too late and we couldnt wait for them to start over. 3) Day 2 we figured we would skip the restaurant and try the room service. We were sent a COMPLETELY un-toasted english muffin and burnt eggs. With all the fees the $25 breakfast became $40. 4) Day 3 we tried the restaurant again and the kitchen set off the fire alarm burning the breakfast potatoes and the whole hotel had to be evacuated. 5) They claim to have great sushi but who in their right mind would even try it. Do not stay here. Seriously, i wish i could get my money back this is not worth saving a few bucks over a hotel that actually gives a damn about its patrons.

Beautiful room. We absolutely loved the room and the view, however. For the price they didnt offer any type of continental breakfast and we had to pay for parking

I am enjoying my room I am not loving the Mark Center as a whole because it is under construction loud and confusing I got a great room on the top floor but had a construction worker above so I had to change rooms and they were very helpful changing my room but the change does come with having to re-pack and everything I enjoyed my server who was working at the restaurant inside the hotel and would recommend if you need to eat then go there because it's near by, but speaking of near by there isn't a lot if you search google or yelp but there are some spots only about a quarter mile up the road. Parking at hotel isn't cheap at $28 bucks a day which didn't bother me but if I was here on a budget with my family it would really bother me. They have breakfast but they never told me about it but I over heard it so it is at some point in the morning in the lovely restaurant. I am torn between giving it 3 stars but the customer service at front desk was very friendly so they get four!

Large hotel that's great for a business stay. Clerk on check in was robotic but the rest of the staff were great. Great front door greeting and the concierge was very helpful. Sushi bar has a decent ramin bowl. No metro train stop near the hotel but there's a metro transient station across the street. Still no hotel shuttle to and from Reagan Airport.

This Hilton does not feel like a Hilton. The service was bleh... very Motel 6 service. I stayed on the 10th floor and the floor smelled the whole time! The room was nice inside. Nicely renovated in a boutique style (hence the 2nd star). THe hotel feels like an embassy suites on the inside with all the rooms facing in. There were lots of tweens at the hotel. There was not a HH lounge (Hilton Honors) here. Breakfast was not great like I am used to at other full service hiltons. Parking was expensive - $28 for valet or $24 to self park outside in the snow. I would not stay here again.

We just left the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center! It literally took us over 1.5 hours to get an elevator to leave! They have 4 elevators and maybe only 2 worked. We were there for a weekend long annual meeting (April 4-6, 2024) and there were hundreds of people there for the event. The elevators were HORRIBLE the ENTIRE time! We started using the service elevators! RIDICULOUS! There were elderly and handicapped people attending this meeting and waiting on the elevators was difficult for them! We stayed on the 27th floor and last night there was a fire alarm. We NEVER heard it! Some who did started to walk down the stairs and were stopped because, thankfully, there wasn't an issue. However, if it had been, this hotel is A DEATH TRAP!!! In reading the reviews, this elevator issue has been going on for a long time!!! Seems like it's not important enough for the hotel management to repair. They should be fined/forced to shut down as I'm sure this breaks all kinds of safety codes. I don't recommend this hotel and we'll NEVER stay there again! Mike and Audrey Bass

This morning, I was early. I was taking a chance by trying to check in to the hotel early. To my pleasant surprise, they did have a room ready and I was able to check in early. I was also given a complimentary breakfast because I'm a Hilton Gold Rewards member. The breakfast was actually good. I opted for the buffet. They had real eggs, which is a big deal if you visit hotels often - you know that. Everyone has been very nice. My room is clean. It has a retro feel. The elevators are dated, but work fine. Main points here: Clean, nice staff, good breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful Hotel, lobby is huge and spectacular, staff is awesome, and helpful. Apparently a lot of people use this place to host weddings and parties. Now for the real stuff, I got a room for handicapped for wifey on the 18th floor. The room had two beds which are horrible for adults. The room thermo was set at 60 but it was 80 degrees in the room all the time so we stayed undressed. The closet bar was 3 feet from the floor so our clothes actually touched the floor. The water was hot and pressure was great unbelievable for a 30 floor hotel. The room had only one chair to sit in and was relatively small, I think handicap people don't need space. We arrived late at the hotel late due to horrible traffic all the way there from Va Beach, no food other than vending machines so we ordered pizza and watched tv on a 65 inch LG beautiful picture but in a small room putting it on the wall would be better. The electrical outlets are built into the one nightstand with primary power being plug in from the wall outlet but only one would work because the plugs were offset and would not fit into the outlets. I had to move the bed and rearrange the outlet to get power to the nightstand. The next morning I was prepared for a nice room service breakfast as the internet stated but oh no the kitchen didn't open till FIVE pm!!! Our function didn't start until 6 which included dinner so no need to order dinner. My grandson and I took a ride into the district to see the govt buildings but the insurrectionist ruined it for us all, you can't get close enough to get a good picture or view!! Thanks Traitors!! I got two sandwiches a bottle of juice and two bags of chips for lunch from the lobby store. Total cost 57.00, should have went to a Harris Teeter. My Grandson got sick so I went to buy Covid test and missed the dinner, the party was excellent as the lower level has huge ballrooms and is absolutely beautiful!! Pizza nite again, checked out late and the normal 3-1/2 hour trip turned into a 6 hour white knuckle nascar drive vow to never drive to DC ever again. Overall I enjoyed the stay but it could have been better with a microwave and food!!
