Critique & C.

Google
This place is definitely extraordinary. It was not easy to navigate to the parking garage with all the traffic on new year eve. (all downtow) with my very first time coming, but it came apparent when I found the entrance under that leads you under the building. Stepping into the lobby was breathtaking. There was so much thought and attention to detail in its entirety. Nothing was left out when being designed. Checking in was easy, fast and the clerk was very pleasant. The in-house amenities are worth the pennies but not the $3 niagra water lol. My room was perfect. I live nearby and will come again in the near future.

Google
Very much enjoying our stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was beyond helpful and courteous. We all felt safe as security was visible and watching high traffic areas. My only complaint would be the long wait on the elevators. However, that was beyond anyone's control as there were several events taking place and it was just busy. I would recommend staying again if in the area.

Google
We had a great stay at Hilton Atlanta, we were there for a conference and it was extremely convenient to stay at the hotel and go back and forth from the room and the conference activities as needed. For us it was easy to find a parking spot at the garage, right near the elevators. Sometimes there is a line for the elevator to the parking garage, especially on checkout day, I used another elevator down the hall past/behind the main elevator and to the right - this area had two elevators and it was very convenient with no wait whenever I used that area. The hotel feels pretty old in general, not super new or modern rooms but it was clean and we had daily room housekeeping option. There is a nice exercise area as well as an area with a basketball court, pickleball court, and small running track. The location is extremely convenient for public transit, the metro line is pretty close to the hotel and the line connects right to the airport, we decided to drive though. All in all we had a nice experience at the conference and enjoyed the stay in this hotel.

Google
Came for the SEC championship game. Traffic is insane, but the hotel did not jack up prices like many other hotels for the weekend. Older hotel, for sure. But still nice. Front lobby gentleman was phenomenal. He answered ever question we had, and he made sure to acknowledge us each time we were in the lobby. Love the small town feel of people being genuinely nice. Rooms are dated, but nice. Buffet in the resturant was a little pricey. 33 dollars a person. Typical fare. Probably would not have been our first choice if we had wanted to brave the "outside." Overall, not bad.

Google
A great place to stay with very friendly and accommodating customer service. The rooms are in decent shape, the staff makes this a great experience. I had a minor issue with noise from the street, being on a lower floor. The staff immediately offered to move me to a higher floor, something they didn’t have to do but did anyway. The common areas are well maintained and the amenities are very nice. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Atlanta.

The hotel itself was very nice and located in a super quiet area—which, if you know downtown Atlanta, is pretty rare. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and provided great service. The room was clean, though the bathroom was extremely small. We stayed for two nights, and the only real downside was that my fiancé and I had to shower in freezing cold water both nights. And when I say cold, I mean absolutely freezing 🫩. Thankfully, it didn’t ruin the overall experience—we just definitely didn’t look forward to shower time. We stayed on the 25th floor and had an amazing view of the city, which was a highlight of our stay.

Google
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Atlanta Hilton Hotel. The room was spotless, quiet, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities. The staff consistently went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. Especially Officer Shaun for assisting me with my disable mom who is wheelchair bound. He was very helpful in get her to the car upon us leaving. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the location made it easy to explore the area. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing experience—highly recommended.

Google
My stay at the Hilton Atlanta was wonderful, but what truly stood out and made the experience exceptional was the valet service — specifically Eddie. From the moment I arrived, Eddie was professional, courteous, and incredibly attentive. He greeted me with a warm smile, made the check-in arrival seamless, and immediately set the tone for a stress-free stay. What impressed me most was his consistency — every interaction felt intentional, respectful, and genuinely kind. Eddie went above and beyond in ways that don’t go unnoticed. He was prompt with my vehicle, communicated clearly, remembered details, and made sure I never felt rushed or overlooked, even during busy moments. That level of care makes a huge difference when traveling, especially at a large hotel like this. The Hilton Atlanta already offers great accommodations, but it’s team members like Eddie who elevate the experience from good to unforgettable. His professionalism, positive attitude, and attention to detail reflect extremely well on the hotel and its service standards. If you’re staying here, the valet service is absolutely worth it — and if you have the pleasure of interacting with Eddie, you’re in great hands. He truly represents hospitality at its best. Thank you, Eddie, for making my stay smooth, welcoming, and memorable!

Yelp
I stayed at this location due to its convenient location - close to the airport, aquarium and other major venues. What I would like to mention first is that the staff members at this location really stood out to me. The staff members that work valet and help with transportation were very kind - they were kind, greeted guests, opened/closed vehicle doors and helped load my luggage. The front desk staff were also welcoming. I appreciate that Hilton has the option to text the hotel any needs/concerns/questions throughout a stay, making communication easy. I stayed in a double queen room. The rooms are a little older but they attempted to modernize it. When I arrived to my room, I was a bit disappointed with a few things: I was missing hand soap for the bathroom sink (but the hotel brought me some after I asked), the trash can that should be under the desk was sitting on top of the desk, and there was some dirt/dust underneath the sink area in the bathroom. In hindsight I should have asked for another room, but after a long day of traveling, I just wanted to unwind and rest. I should also mention that I stayed on the 10th floor on the side of the major street/hotel entrance. I could hear traffic clear as day during my entire stay. As a light sleeper, it was a bit disruptive especially when sports cars driving by would rev their engines. I suggest requesting a room higher up to avoid this. A friend of mine parked their car with valet, and they were quick each time. We waited no more than 5 minutes for the car to be brought up. Self-parking was also easily accessible and reasonably priced. The lobby can get a bit hectic in the evening as guests arrive and people hang out, but they had ample security to ensure the safety of guests. Lastly, I enjoyed the hotel's many dining options - though there's one restaurant undergoing renovations at the moment (so it's closed). The market was convenient and restaurants/bars were nice.

Yelp
Download the app and make check in easy on your life. I received a text letting me know i could head straight to my room. Check out is just as easy, sent them a text with my email. Toilet and toilet paper are damn near on the ground. Hope you have good knees. The bed and small pillows were not comfortable for me at all, too soft. The refrigerator in room works, but a little too well. It froze everything we put in there. Wished there was a microwave in the room for my food. Staff waa very friendly no matter where in the hotel I was. FYI starbucks is across the bridge at the other hotel. Be careful if there is a lot going on at either hotel. We had an hour wait for our order but staff kept their cool and remained calm, the customers on the other hand did not.

Yelp
I'm a longtime Hilton Diamond member, but this was my first and last stay at this property. Parking was a nightmare. The hotel knew their gate system was broken, yet when my wife followed their instructions, the gate agent accused her of lying and made her pay. Breakfast was "cash only" due to system failures, and housekeeping didn't restock basics like body wash. Great location, spacious rooms, and nice views, but the service and technology are disorganized and inconsistent. Leadership and staff either don't care or can't manage the basics which is very disappointing for a Hilton.

Yelp
My husband was attending a conference nearby and booked a room at this hotel for a couple of nights. It is a large hotel with 27 floors. We got a room on the 27th floor with a nice view of the city. The beds were comfortable. The lobby is very spacious with a few restaurants. We also had a bright airy lounge area on the 27th floor.

Yelp
Hotel was beautiful and it was in a great location. Only down side there were wayyyyy too many YNs for comfort. The hotel gave prostitution vibes, it was a lot. But staff were nice, the views were nice, definitely would go back.

Yelp
Great hotel. Atmosphere and decor is of great quality. The hotel has everything you would need. Customer service, exceptional. Clean and affordable 4 Star Hotel. Oh my next visit to Atlanta I would be staying here again!

Yelp
We loved our stay at Hilton Atlanta. This hotel is very close to so many restaurants and attractions. We ended up being able to walk to the Coke museum, aquarium and the college football hall of fame. It saved us to much time and money. The rooms were very nice. Everything was clean and very spacious so we were very comfortable during our stay. This hotel also has a tiki bar/restaurant on the bottom floor of the building. It's very convenient to grab dinner without talking anywhere. It is a busy spot so reservation is recommended. I loved our stay here and I would be happy to book at Hilton Atlanta again

Yelp
Stayed one night for business - this is an older hotel in the area but offers everything you need at a very reasonable price. Rooms look like they've been renovated but the lobby and open areas look like they're from a mid 1980s convention center. For the price though, ($128/night in Nov 2024) it is an amazing value. Lots of stuff within walking distance. Centennial Park is less than 20mins walk and there is plenty of parking here in the underground garage.

Yelp
Hotel is great location to downtown. Quick walk, or drive to many events and restaurants. The inside of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were fairly nice. The only downsides to this stay is the lack of options in the "marketplace" and room service, as well as the elevator situation. There's (6) elevators for 25? floors. Some moments you would have to wait 30+ minutes for an elevator. I took the stairs from the 18th floor down and ended up in the kitchen.

Yelp
Worked at a an event here. They were able to validate our parking for the whole day which was great. Upon first glance, both the exterior and interior could use a few updates particularly pertaining to their private event rooms. But the place was relatively clean overall, especially the bathrooms. Location is ideal if visiting all the tourist locations but definitely not a safe area to walk around in at night.

Yelp
The hotel is in a great location. Attractions like Coca-Cola and the Aquarium are within walking distance. The room is pretty good and clean, with a great view from my window. No issues checking in or checking out or with any unnecessary charges. Here the staff were super friendly and helpful. The market on the lobby level had pretty much anything I needed. I really loved Trader Vic's, if you stay here you've got to get an OG Mai Thai. Great value and very nice updated rooms. My stay was awesome and will return again. Hilton Atlanta is connected by a walkway to the Peachtree Center mall and a MARTA station, this refined hotel is 2 miles from the CNN Center and a mile from Centennial Olympic Park. Polished rooms come with flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi, plus minifridges and city views. Suites add sitting areas and wet bars. There's an upscale rooftop restaurant with skyline views, a lounge, and a slick cocktail bar. Parking is offered and is little pricey but easy to access. Other amenities consist of a gym, sports courts and a jogging track. I would definetely recommend this place for a stay.

Yelp
I booked this trip three weeks in advance and paid for everything upfront, non-refundable. Let me be clear: it wasn't about the money. I called every day for two weeks to clarify rules and details--like the deposit amount, parking fees, and breakfast inclusion--because the website was vague. I left eight voicemails before the inbox filled up. Not a single return call. When I arrived, I found out I had to pay an extra $40 per night for parking, which I would have liked to know in advance. Hilton states that members receive complimentary water in the room, but I didn't get any. I tried calling downstairs for 30 minutes without any answer, and after a long day of travel, I was left without water, which should have been provided. The check-in staff was great, but that's where the positive experience ended. I discovered mold on my blanket when I went to bed. I showed the staff photos and videos, and their response was lackluster at best. They seemed more annoyed that I was complaining than concerned about the issue. I was offered to switch rooms and given 15,000 points, but the experience was already ruined. I had specifically asked for a high floor and a view--both of which I had to pay extra for--and ended up with a lower floor and the same view. Later that night, I found another moldy blanket. This was a completely different situation, yet I was treated as if I was just trying to get something for free. I never asked for money back--just decent service and a clean room. Instead, I got another 15,000 points and a smaller blanket. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but it turned into a nightmare. The customer service was appalling, and I left with hives from sleeping in filthy blankets. Hilton used to be a place I recommended to family and friends, but after this experience, I can't say that anymore. What should have been a nice getaway turned into a frustrating ordeal, and I'm left feeling disappointed and disgusted.Outside of all the other small problems this is unacceptable and I videos and pics with time stamps of it all I'll upload

Yelp
This is in a sketchy area. As a single woman's traveling, I did not feel comfortable walking the area (and definitely not at night). As for the hotel, the TV stopped receiving signal and wouldn't work after the first day. Tried calling the front desk and it just rang and rang and no one answered. Trying to watch Netflix on the TV was impossible to set up. They had a water heater issue the second day which resulted in a cold shower in the morning. Totally unacceptable. The pro's: friendly staff and it was quiet at night.

Yelp
Spent one day/night with my mom and had a great stay! Everyone was very helpful! The hotel is huge but signs make it easy to find what you're looking for! The room was spacious and clean. Bed comfy and pillows a dream. Was excited for the availability of the early check-in and late check out! It also has 3 restaurants on site and a walkway that connects to 2 other major hotels! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Got off a late flight and went to check in after midnight and my room was unavailable. Clerk said the hotel was overbooked, we had to wait 1.5 hours for them to finishing cleaning a spare room. I've never ran into this in years of travel. Clerk was apologetic but we ended up in our room past 3AM. A few nights later I realized the bathroom sink was backing up with raw sewage and we had to get a room change. No reduction of our bill was offered, I should have demanded it at that point, but I was fatigued. I noticed outside near the small pool on the roof, there seems to be a serous leak moving under a low wall. Might be a Miami condo collapse situation so be warned this hotel has serous maintenance problems.

Yelp
We stayed for two nights for a conference inside the hotel. Most of the elevators were broken or out of service which made getting to our room and to the conference events extremely difficult and time consuming. We were on the 20th floor and the stairs were not always an option if we were carrying lots of equipment. There was also a large group of high schoolers also staying at the hotel - and they were using the hotel like a giant hide and seek space, running around and cheering loudly late at night (which sounded fun for them but made it hard to sleep). I travel regularly for work and was excited to check out this property but was mostly disappointed.

Yelp
it's a super beautiful hotel with a great view! prices are absolutely fantastic for the service, and the view was amazing from the 23rd floor. everyone was very friendly and accommodating, not to mention that the food at the marketplace absolutely amazing and they're open until 1AM. parking was like $40 for a night though. surprisingly easy to get in and out of the hotel since you'd think the front entrance would be packed with cars some random guy was smoking weed outside the hotel
google avatar

Terry P.

Yelp
Well, the service is great there and wonderful. The rooms were nice cleaned every day but the parking is outrageous you get charged $35 a day for self parking in their garage. & it's $55 for valet parking. per day. I don't agree with their parking pricing so it would be best to Uber. That's a little too expensive just park at a hotel you already pay $200 plus a night for a room. And have to pay for parking that is overly expensive just to park . But hopefully in the future, they can change that.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous lobby. People are friendly and check in process was seamlessly easy. There's a conference here this weekend, so the restaurants are super packed with people, but the staff isn't stressed so neither am I. Only thing that was a little concerning was the fact that the front desk agent vocally said what floor we were on when checking us in. That is a BIG NO in the hospitality industry. Overall, this hotel has everything and then some.

Kim C.

Yelp
This hotel has bed bugs. The manager did not seem surprised. I took a picture and shared with the staff. They offered to heat treat the room and give me free breakfast. Not to mention I have my 9 month old granddaughter who was asleep on the bed. She didn't care about this either. I filed a complaint with corporate office. I asked that they not bill me and let me leave which they refused to do. I had only been there a few hours into my two night stay. AWFUL!!! . You don't expect this from a HILTON.
google avatar

Yelp
Great accommodation, staff was friendly and very helpful especially Mr. Howard, he knew all the good breakfast spots. Stayed here for five nights with my partner. The location is convenient and walkable to anything and everything.

Yelp
My stay at this hotel definitely had some quirks, but overall it was alright. It's definitely not the most modern hotel, nor does it have a whole lot in the way of amenities (no pool, for real?), but at night I slept well and I didn't really want for anything while there. Check-in seems to be a revolving issue here. Ours wasn't terribly long, but I will say, everytime I went down there was always a pretty long line to get checked in. Perhaps there is a way to lessen the amount of time it takes, or an express check-in that doesn't require some kind of special membership. When we left, the hotel was especially chaotic, and it took forever to get an elevator down from our room to check out. There was also a line to get into the parking garage elevator, and there didn't appear to be an alternate way in. The parking garage itself is one of the most complicated labyrinth's I have seen, and the price to park is just astounding. I guess they figure most guests at this hotel are having their parking covered by their business accounts, and they roll with that. All those complaints lodged, getting lunch each day was easy thanks to an connection via skybridge to a large downtown mall with a food court. My room was clean by my standards... I'm not exactly using a white glove or anything, but all looked well upon arrival. I didn't have trouble sleeping, and the blackout curtains kept it pretty dark. I was high enough up that street noise wasn't too bad, though present. In the end, I don't think I would choose to stay here again, but I have certainly had worse stays at other places.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible. The worst hotel experience I've had in years. To begin with, I waited close to an hour to check- in with at least 40 other people while they had only 1 staff person behind the desk. Then the elevators! Cross your fingers that you can grab one and not have to wait another 30 minutes - literally! Then the small refrigerator doesn't work in my room. After calling 3 times and asking to speak with a manager (who has yet to return my call), it still doesn't work and I've had throw out perishables. The furniture is run down and the bathroom needs maintenance. I could go on but I just want to get out of here!

Yelp
If you can get a room on a deal, it is a good hotel for Emory guests or Fox Theatre events. This is a conference hotel with more than 25 floors. The lobby and entrance looks updated. I wish the details on the room floors were more updated. On my floor there was a bunch of duct tape at the entrance to one of the elevators. I stayed here recently when in town for a concert at the Fox Theatre. It's about a 20 minute walk which might be better than a Lyft/cab. There are multiple entrances to the parking garage. If you have the Hilton app, pull up your room key as you enter. Then you can park on any floor. The elevator to the hotel is in the middle of the structure, not the ends. You can take it up to the lobby an dthen walk straight. Concierge is on your left. I booked a 2 bed double for about $100 plus tax and fees for one night. It was a pretty good deal considering I looked at this hotel on a different weekend and it was 2x+ that. There were a lot of rooms available when I checked in on the app so I was able to book one on the 25th floor and on an end. The room levels do not require a keycard to access the floor or at leat the 25th floor did not. This was surprising because there is a keycard scanner. Some of the elevators have a view either into the hotel or outside the building as you go up. If you don't mind heights, those are fun to ride. Once you get to the floor, you may have to walk in a half circle to the wing of your room, which goes around the center of the hotel and a dropto see a few floors below. Not a view for those with a fear of heights! The 2 double bed room had a lot of room. It did not feel cramped. The bathroom however was a little tight. There is no fan in there either. The cloth shower curtain has magnets to help stick to the tub. The waiter pressure was poor. The mirror in the bathroom though has an anti-fog feature that keeps a large rectangle clear even if the room gets steamy, so that was nice. The breakfast is good (see my review for Southern Elements).

Yelp
I recently visited this Hotel for the first time while at a business conference. I had a great experience there. Specifically, the temperature setting inside my room was perfect and I never woke up too hot. I got amazing sleep on the comfortable king sized bed which was greatly appreciated. Lastly I received wonderful service in the main restaurant/bar. The bartender Ivo was great. He provided me excellent service and was funny and engaging. His colleague Mike was cool too. I will definitely be back there next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Check-in and parking ($35 self parking) were fine. The room was okay and I liked the multiple elevators from the room to the lobby. However, there was only one elevator to parking that was functional. This is a huge hotel with conference rooms. How in the world can you only have one elevator? We asked if there was a way we can walk to the parking lot but they said the elevator was the quickest. I like the large hotel to walk around and the gym was nice. It can be a bit loud in the lobby due to events/conferences happening at the hotel. I checked out two of the three restaurants (Southern Ekements and Traders Vic's on the premise and they were crowded. The food at the Hilton Market was pricey but convenient with a variety of items.

Yelp
The Hilton Atlanta is overrated. The hotel is old, hot, and outdated. Lots of lipstick was used on this old pig. The front desk night staff was frustrating to say the least. I wouldn't recommend anyone asking anything of them if you aren't checking in. They are completely useless. I never felt truly safe in this hotel, from the fact that I never once needed my key to reach my floor as advertised because that feature in the elevator was disabled, to the fact I had to slam my door to get it to close and stay closed. There is no A/C in any common area outside of the front desk and lobby. Venturing up to any floor above the 5th was like exploring a sauna. The elevators were extremely slow. I don't know what is going on with that. There are 6-8 elevators and yet getting just one felt like an eternity. The rooms were basic, the carpet in my room smelled of mold and mildew. I couldn't wait to leave. I will never stay at this Hilton again.

Joshua B.

Yelp
Elevators are constantly rattling, and staff during conventions manning them can be extremely rude and short with customers. Front desk is hardly ever manned, the only time I saw people there was two cops running the thing. Terrible, confusing layout with the other three hotels and is by far the most difficult to get to. if you dont memorize which floors the skybridges connect to, have fun roaming for about 30 minutes outside to get back to the Hilton. Most end up taking the stairs when it gets busy and lines for the elevator can be up to 15 minutes long. Hidden fees they don't state upfront or purposefully obfuscate will eat into your budget. Too many rules and conditions for conventions to the point it feels watered down, overenforced, and treats customers like children. Ironically enough, at the same time they didn't have nearly enough staff. At the most inconvenient of times you will find escalators non functioning, entire floors blocked off to corral people, and pathways so confusing you think you're playing a maze game. Thinking of finding another hotel for next year and never spending my money here again. if you want anything resembling a good hotel just go to the Hyatt or Marriott next to this Hilton. incredibly disappointing, and a waste of +$1000.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel during a peak concert weekend, so keep that in mind. The front valet area is far too small and there isn't any space to pull over and get your room key to access the garage. We finally were able to pull into the Lyft/Uber zone to check in. We requested an early check in weeks prior and even sent a message via the app the morning of and was told our room would be ready at 1:30. We arrived just before 1:30, checked in and was told it would just be a few minutes and we could wait in the lobby. Numerous other guests came in after us and received their room keys instantly. And yes, I am a Hilton Honors member. After an hour had past we asked again and it seemed like they forgot about us. Wondering if we never asked when would we have gotten a room. Parking is $35/night and by 5pm the lot was full. Use the information for what you will. Elevators. There is one bank of elevators (8 total) for 20+ floors. What you typically see are elevators that are dedicated to certain floors (1-10 and 11-20) but not here. It was impossible to catch an elevator quickly and we ended up skipping numerous ones that were too full. The room was okay, definitely needs remolding and our sheets were stained. We requested new ones and out of the stack of ten housekeeping had, only one set was stain free. It's a busy part of downtown Atlanta, so we heard cars honking and people yelling until 3am. Nothing the hotel could do about that. Overall feeling after our stay was just meh. Would we stay here again? Hopefully not, but this was the only option we had on a sold out weekend.

Yelp
This was a stay of necessity as I needed to be in walking distance of work given storm duty for last week's winter storm and icy roads preventing a normal commute. This fit the bill, as it has in the past. Things were not normal due to the storm, so I'll cut some slack. Room was fine. No complaints there, except, someone had screwed in the battery cover to TV remote with the tabs out, so the battery wouldn't stay put. You had to painfully wedge your finger in to push/hold battery in place to make it work. Next morning I called maintenance; they were apologetic and said would fix, but on returning that night, they hadn't. I texted back the HHonors folks who kept checking in and in 15 min. I had a new remote. Nice recovery. I like they still give you a little bar of soap in addition to the ubiquitous, fixed-shower-caddies of shampoo, body wash, etc. Also, the heated section of the mirror means a nice fog-free view after steamy showers (great water pressure, btw). It's a downtown hotel, so you know parking it pricey, but was still a bit shocked at the $40/night parking tab (glad this was a business expense!). An iconic Trader Vic's tiki bar is in the basement and made for a quick, convenient cocktail the first night. Overall, a good place to stake out near work in this situation.

Yelp
Left the room for dinner and came back to a room that was robbed. The security staff seemed to not care. Not sure if they even bothered looking at their camera system. Would not recommend staying here.

Yelp
Stayed overnight at this location from Panama City and on our way to Michigan. With the Hilton App, we were able to check in online and choose a room of choice. Parked the car two levels below the lobby. Even though our room was ready, we had to validate the parking ticket to the receptionist. Our arrival was at the same time a college football team came back from a game. Had no choice but to have our bags deposited at the lobby. There was about 10-12 elevators working versus several hundreds of the kids and adults lining up to use the same elevator up. We decided to leave the hotel and walk towards The Olympic Park and The world of Coca Cola - which is about 10-15 minutes walk. Downtown Atlanta is definitely a scenic place to visit. Going back to the hotel, we bought some take away food and ate on the long tables by the deli/convenience store - same level as the lobby and parking elevator. A can of pop or water will cost you a minimum of $3 each. Pizza around $5 and hot coffee about $4. A souvenir magnet for $8 and a mug for $18. There is no microwave in our room, so we had to go down and use the ones available here. The room we paid for was wide enough for two double beds occupancy. There is a small fridge, safety box, iron board and hair dryer. Had a great view of Georgia Tower. Hilton Atlanta is literally a few steps away from the freeway that we could hear the loud noise of the cars driving to the speed of 55-70 mph. Considering the number of guests booked on the 30th of December 2023, the water pressure is low. Three pillows per bed and the sheets were comfortable. Checking out, we had to return one of the key cards and the other one will be used for the parking. There was an unscheduled maintenace of the parking elevator so we had to walk across the residence building. No one from the hotel staff guided the guests- we kept coming back and fort the H and O elevator. Eventually, our common sense tells us to use the O elevator to bring us down to our level, come out from O elevator and then walk towards the H parking area. When we scanned the key card, it won't work. We had to buzz whoever was in-charge of parking to let us out. Then they tell you to leave the key card in the small box. Unfortunately, my hubby left his watch behind the room we checked in. We were an hour away from the hotel that we realize he wasn't wearing it. We had to called numerous times. We couldn't talk directly to house keeping instead forwarded to security - and the response was the room is not yet cleaned; no one reported the item found; they will call us back in 15 minutes, or the system is down. We have a very bad experience in this Hilton location. Don't expect for them to call you back or even bother to check the room. Consider your items lost for good.

Yelp
The hotel was great with amenities and cleanliness. The rooms are sort of updated , our the light from the room was working only the little lamps . The check in process it's such a mess with two people checking people in it took a while hours to check in it was ridiculous. I have never experienced that in any hotel , and it was 12 a midnight; by the time I got to my room was 2am .

Yelp
My niece and I stayed here for a few nights, the hotel itself was meh.... I know it's probably the norm, but for the price that we stayed here, parking should have been free, $40 a night for parking is ridiculous. Then we had heating issues in our room, and the water temperature fluctuated from extremely hot to cold. We had to call the front desk for housekeeping to change all of our sheets and top blanket off of our beds. We thought new sheets and blankets were changed daily, they were not. The breakfast Buffett was very good. Needed to wash a few items of clothing and there was no laundry services available, overall the location of the Hotel was good, because of all the attractions that was close by, but overall, next time we visit we will definitely choose another place to stay, there are way better hotels than this one, Do Better Hilton

Yelp
It was rough staying here during the conference I went to last week. It's a conference hotel so you'd think they would be better at dealing with large crowds but no.... ** The Elevator broke TWICE during my 4 day stay here. As in, people actually got trapped in the elevator both times** Aside from being trapped, the elevators just sucked in general. There seemed to have been 8 elevators but somehow only 2 seemed to work at one time. Since it was a conference, of course everyone was using the elevator at the same time - so we had to plan 30 mins. just to get from our floor to downstairs. There were times where people walked up 12+ flights of stairs in the summer heat just because they couldn't wait for the elevator anymore. The rooms were basic. They definitely cut down on the amenities here - large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/lotion and one bar of soap is all you get in the bathroom now. No other toiletries. Beds were standard and comfortable at least. Walls are THIN - heard my neighbors having sex and even heard their after sex talks. Something to keep in mind if you plan on getting it on in the Hilton. Some saving graces is they do have multiple food options here so at least you don't have to go far for food if you have limited time.

Yelp
I stayed at the Hilton Atlanta recently with a friend and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The staff is kind and helpful. Lobby is large and inviting. Check-in/out process was smooth. There are plenty of eateries and shopping nearby in downtown Atlanta. There is even a gentleman's club right behind the hotel with a food truck open late. Parking is real iffy in this area. Costly and I didnt really feel safe leaving my car in some areas.

Yelp
This is a bad look for the Hilton franchise. Let's start with the good: The ability to check-in through the Hilton app is great. The express check in line is a nice feature, but it moves slowly and defeats the purpose. The concierge gave me recommendations for where to eat and visit as well as a map. That's where the good ends. I wrote this while standing in the un air-conditioned elevator bank for the 10 minutes as packed elevators pass and guests trying to check out complain that they could have made it to the first floor from the 24th+ floor faster if they had walked down the stairs instead. The room was mid and towels were rough. The staff have this weird fake "hospitality" thing where they are compelled to ask "how are you?" while walking straight away from you because why would they really care about your answer. The mini fridge in my room did not work, so I wasted my leftovers from Uber Eats (which still sucked even though the Atlanta restaurants I ordered from were mid). The hotel was drab, fairly unclean, and the views from the 24th floor sucked, so it's certainly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in on earth. When I finally squeezed into a packed elevator (sorry passengers) after 37 minutes of waiting, it somehow got worse! The elevator. Stopped. On. Every. Mother. FLIPPING! FLOOR! As Nene said, "Ooh chile, the ghetto!" I'm not sure if I should blame Atlanta or Hilton at this juncture. Shut it down!

Yelp
Worst customer service Hilton I have experienced! They billed me falsely without taking off my Diamond member daily food credit. I tried to contact the hotel after for resolution, but they would never answer the phone or keep passing me on to someone else. Still no resolution! Avoid this hotel! Corporate regional management will be contacted for false charging hotel. Formal Hilton case opened and still no response one week later. This hotel definitely is not interested in helping resolve any issues for its patrons. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! They will be reported to the better business bureau.

Yelp
This is just an overgrown, and over priced Motel 6. The average rooms are below average at best. Small, poorly appointed, and severely dated, our room had a barely functional A/C unit that sounded like a semi idling. The bathroom shower head was not high enough for anyone over 5'10, the toilet would not stop running and was cracked, and the fridge did not work. To top it all off I went for breakfast and was surprised at how good it was but even more surprised at the nearly $40 that I was charged for a breakfast buffet that not too long ago would have been included in the cost of a stay. I have been a long time Hilton Honors member with Diamond status and have stayed at MANY Hilton properties and this is by far the worst.

Yelp
What makes this hotel stand out from others is having two sets of glass elevators both facing the inside and outside, which is something we don't see everyday at Hilton. AND this place is where elevator photography started in 1993!

Yelp
The fact that this hotel got a 2 stars does not surprise me. Plenty of previous comment 'DO Not Stay there.' My experience does not even warrant that. We are only here for one night, passing through. This is a pet friendly hotel - let me put that out front. My dog has to go out at 5.30 am that morning. I took him down, as soon as my dog pass the front door, he wanted to pee. I pulled him to the side and he peed on a bola to the right. A valent standing by the door said: 'I guess he did not make it ah!' So I replied: 'I guess he got to go when he got to go. '. I start to pull my dog further away. Eventually pulling my dog to the right. My dog was sniffing another bola further away, this valent shouted: Just make sure you pick it up!' I turn round and walked to another direction. He went in to the security desk, where there is cctv behind. He was speaking to the security staff behind he desk. I said: ' Did you see these bags, I do not need you to tell me how to walk my dog.' He said he know enough my dogs was finding a place to poop. I thought of course why else would I walk my dog! Right! I said:' am a Diamond member and been to many Hilton Hotels. '. He then said he said madam and please. He said and he is an employee. I told him I respect that. I told him he did not. Now is more interesting, the security guy in front of the cctv camera said he heard him. I thought how! I told him you were not even outside. Normally cctv is for image and no sound, sure there are some that does. Glancing at the equipment, it does not. The valent the stump off and mutter something like he had enough. I then went out to continue to walk my dog. My dog did pooped and I picked it up like any responsible dog owner would. When I come in, there was another who looks like another much more geared up security guy and a large women standing by the entrance. I walked in and said asked if they were waiting for me? The women muttered that I am rude. This is quite something. I never experienced a worse Hilton in my entire life. The staffs are all ganged up together on the hotel guest. I was going to ask to speak to the Duty Manage, because it is before 6 pm. What is the point? I can only put down to bad management, insufficient staff training. If I understand correctly, there should be a Hilton training manual. God knows if any one has been trained. This is a very old hotel. Even though we were upgraded to the 27th floor, the shower has dirt on the wall! This hotel needs to revamp everything. From decor, to management to all staff training. I will not be coming back for sure.

Yelp
Mediocre hotel experience. Not very clean, elevators either don't work, or don't work well Trader Vic's is the only redeeming quality, but it was so incredible I would probably stay here again for the convenience of going there.

Yelp
Super Bowl weekend! Busy! Busy! Busy! Check in was painless. 12 guest service attendants were ready and eager to assist. The lobby area was Covid friendly- signs everywhere to keep your distance , wear your mask, etc. Trader VIC's has all the snacks from hot pizza to wine. 8" pizza's $11 pepperoni; $9 cheese. Both were tasty but my husband says more pepperoni would have topped it off. The rooms were clean, more than enough toiletries- shampoo/conditioner, facial soap, towels , etc. I usually bring my soap ... The beds are super comfy - medium firm mattresses. Fluffy pillows. My only complaint no pens and only 1 laundry bag. The shower was slow to drain - standing water! Lukewarm water! Quiet Time posted throughout the hotel - 10PM to 7AM. Checkout 11AM Self parking $32 per night Street parking $30 per night Overall this is the Hilton so nothing but the Best . This is actually my 2nd stay at this location. I will be back! Several hotels downtown Atlanta to choose from but the Hilton is one of the best. Oh if you want to get a good run in without dealing with traffic, there is an outdoor track and basketball court. Enjoy your stay!

Yelp
This is a review for the buffet breakfast at the Hilton Atlanta. The hotel is a good, full-service, downtown hotel. But, the breakfast is amazing. The chefs bake their own pastries every morning. We were in Paris recently, and these pastries were better than the ones in France. There is an omelette station where the chef makes beautiful, fluffy omelettes to your specifications. Beautiful fresh fruit, and on and on. A best-kept Atlanta secret.

Yelp
I definitely like this place. It's located in downtown Atlanta not really in the mix of downtown a little on the outside. It's in walking distance of few restaurants. You can hit the stadium then or be in the center of it all in less than 5 mins. Staff at the hotel we're all chill, my room was a decent clean room. Starbucks in the lobby, bar, restaurant and underground parking is available. I'll shop back here again when touch Atlanta again. Live, love, and laugh - Sha

Yelp
I stayed here for a conference for work, and it was a good experience. I always check the cleanliness of the hotel room as soon as I get in, especially the bathroom. The bathrooms were not deeply cleaned, you could tell it was surface cleaned & you could see buildup of dust in some areas. Placement of the hotel, however, is in a pretty good spot in downtown ATL. It's walking distance from a bunch of restaurants & site seeing things.

Yelp
Valet Parking is preying on Blaxk and Brown Folks! i came in to a empty parking lot , my friend was visting for the week. stoped to visit and met a man inside asking for my keys - i did not want to pay for parking and was told i had less than hour. it was completely dark and he smelled a odor of some sort of substance. he then stated i had less than an hour, it was my first time parking and unfamiliar with the area. As i was leaving i told it was 35 for self parking ?! as much as parking is overnight , and to hard visitors 35 per hour with a min of 3 hours is ridiculous. valet attendant was not professional , spoke little english deep accent and is comfortable with strong odor of alcohol or marijuana. Spoked to the manager and she was not helpful as a Hilton member and for Atlanta after a pandemic These third parties are taking advantage of Hilton's clients and are handling business negatively. it's a ashame that self parking is 35 an hour with a min of 3 hours! i basically got robbed blind- Unprofessional . then they laugh as they know they just took advantage of a hilton member. i will no longer be doing business with hilton and i'm a resident of thic area . i recommended this hotel to be token advantage in dead night time. i could understand if it was during day hours but it was no vallet services requested. they shake you down at the front door for your keys then charge you a arm and a leg when you leave. when you complain they tell you it's a third party company . also night manager need to be replaced , she too was unprofessional , room for a week and visitors are being charged 35 hr min of 3 hours !!

Yelp
Service was nice; location was close to plenty places; however I would not walk. I ubered. The restaurant on the premises was nice and the view was amazing.
