Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa

A beautiful resort on the bank of the Nile. View the distant Valley of the Kings and a hot air balloon rise each morning. Meet Mohamed #1, Ezz, as you enter, and feel like a very treasured guest from the beginning. He made sure we had everything needed, and was friendly and welcoming each time we returned to the hotel. Rooms were good size and nicely furnished. Beds comfy with high quality linen. We enjoyed a Nile view balcony- perfect for afternoon relaxation. The pools are great, roomy, just the right temperature. Breakfast has a wonderful assortment of fresh fruit, breads and pastries, Egyptian specialties, fresh made omelettes, meats, cheeses, even a chocolate fountain. We had two meals and dessert at Olives, the Nile side, open air restaurant. Servers Maomen and Mohammed were excellent, gracious and helpful. The hotel also had nice gift shops and three cash machines.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short ride from the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temples, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. Breakfast offers a decent variety with more selections than expected, and the staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. On the downside, the rooms feel outdated and are quite small. The restroom is extremely compact—only suitable for one person at a time—and the balcony is also tiny. One highlight worth mentioning: if you wake up early around 6:30 a.m., you’ll be treated to the beautiful sight of hot air balloons floating across the sky.

Service is excellent, best I have seen in a long time. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially Sandy from Guest Relations. A great hotel to relax after long day of sightseeing. Their spa and pool area are awesome. Definitely recommend this Hilton resort if you are in Luxor.

The resort is amazing! Great food and drinks our bartender Muhammed was fabulous! Had a great massage by Otani it was such a wonderful experience! I experienced the spa amenities multiple times! You dont need an appointment to use the facilities! They have a steam room, sauna, aromatherapy and a thermal garden and the infinity pool is heated and has a great view of the Nile River and the Valley of the Kings! 10 out of 10 I reccomend!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. I had an amazing time! The rooms were big and nice even though a little dated. The bathrooms were clean. No smell, very spacious. The staff is amazing and the breakfast was delicious.||There were many notable people and staff who helped us in every way, shape and form. However, the one that stand out the most was Ms Hadeer at the daily breakfast place. Ms Hadeer is extremely welcoming, always has a smile on her face, went out of the way to make me cappuccino from the kitchen instead of the machine, which was lukewarm at best. Very hard-working and a cheerful lady indeed. ||I'm a Hilton honors Gold member, so I was upgraded for free to a better room. At the same time, they extended my check out to 5:00 p.m. for free.||The facility is absolutely magnificent. I loved the cascading heated pools that blend into to the great Nile River. The outdoor restaurants are a treat, just to be able to sit by the banks of the great Nile River and be able to enjoy a meal. It was an amazing experience with this sun setting on the West end.||Overall, an exceptional experience. I would love to come here again one day.

Ok, you want to know what is luxury, go to Hilton Luxor, Rooms are very cozy and most has beautiful views. We visited few sites but our most enjoyment was the pool and bar area. Great food all day warm pool and beautiful view of the Nile and the valley of the kings hill. Great service from Front desk, pool restaurant Ahmad, Mohmad, you guys rock. Food delicious, very reasonably priced. If you are diamond member, gold member even better. All manager, supervisor and concierge, I can’t thank enough to you all; treating us like kings. You all are the best in hospitality. You make the Hilton name so High. Love you all and thank you. I encounter so many team members and everyone surpassed my imagination of hospitality. So if I didn’t mentioned your name particularly; All of you as a team were amazing.

We had a great stay at Hilton Luxor. We are glad we chose this resort for our stay in Luxor. Food at the restaurants were great. The Fateer house was nice and casual but with great views. We really liked the spa pool for relaxation. A very nice worker Ahmed Ibrahim at concierge made our stay very special going above and beyond for us.

This hotel is 100% outstanding. The hotel design and landscaping are stunning, the views of the Valley of the Kings across the Nile are breath-taking. Our room was extremely comfortable (the pillows were soft and bed a good size) and had a lovely 2 seat balcony with a Nile view. Cleaned daily to perfection. There are 3 restaurants. An award winning oriental/curry restaurant, which we didn't try. We chose the Olive, which was outside and had a menu with a very wide range of choices from Middle East to Western. The Shawarma sandwich is worthy of mention. Every meal was really enjoyable and the Egyptian wine, Chateau de Granville white was perfectly good. The pools are stunning and loungers everywhere, with one of the staff delivering towels and every comfort as soon as you sit down. The staff were, without exception absolutely wonderful. Extremely polite, wishing to please and keen to make your stay memorable. This a a highly trained and professional team, led by the GM Florian Gruhl, whom we asked to meet, so we could tell him how well the hotel had performed. This was the first time we had taken the rouble to do this, so impressed we were. Finally, we would like to say how impressed we were with the staff. We can't mention them all, but Marina facilitated our stay and was so lovely and helpful. Ahmed and Hassan at the Pool Bar were eager to make a delightful drink and enjoy some laughs at the bar. Mesab makes a wonderful Shisha smoke, which was delightful after dinner. The staff can arrange anything and do it brilliantly. Last I must reference our Taxi driver, who came recommended from a old Luxor hand. His name is Saeed and his number is +201006573591. He will take you wherever you want to go...safely and at sensible prices. He is really delightful and no hard sell and you can trust his advice for shopping, getting tickets to the sites and avoiding the touts. We shall not hesitate to return, as the hotel is calm and relaxing and away (but not far) from the hubub and hassle of the centre of town. A perfect base to see the extraordinary sites of Luxor and then return to relax.
