Loved how close we were to Disney Springs! We could walk there. Staff were very helpful. Its a beautiful hotel from the outside but the rooms need updating. No outlets for charging in our room other than the bathroom and 1 lamp. No streaming services available either which was a bummer. Lighting could be better too. Lazy river needs to be cleaned and monitored for prohibited behavior we witnessed during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Decent Stay with Some Highs and Lows My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Orlando for a quick two-day getaway last week. We were mainly looking to relax, and while there were definitely some enjoyable aspects, there were also a few drawbacks that impacted our overall experience. Pros: The lazy river, while smaller than expected, was a fun way to unwind. Pool bar offered great drinks and food yes, a bit pricey, but that’s typical for the Disney area. Blue (after-hours) and the main lobby bar were both solid spots for a nightcap. Highly recommend the espresso martinis at either bar. We had a great view from Room 1238 (12th floor)—gorgeous sunsets and even the Epcot fireworks, which was a highlight. Cons: The hotel seemed short-staffed at the pool bar, which resulted in some staff being noticeably short or less accommodating. Our biggest issue was with the room location being so close to the elevators, we heard constant noise all night that sounded like shoes tumbling in a dryer. It definitely impacted our sleep and made it hard to fully enjoy the room. I would have like to been told that, and feel this was truly a dishonest room to place guest in. Overall, the hotel has some great amenities and a prime location, but due to the noise issues, we’d likely choose a different option for our next stay.

We always try to stay here when we do our staycation to Disney. Great place, and great service. We came in last week to celebrate our 3rd anniversary so I messaged the front desk to see if they offered anything that would be a surprise for the wife. Hailey at the front desk went above and beyond. She wrote up a beautiful card and sent some amazing cupcakes to our room. We were blown away and really want her to know how nice that was!! Can't recommend this place and staff enough.

My experience was pretty good. I travel a lot and often use Hilton hotels. But I never spend a lot and when I do I want it to be worth my money. The rooms at the Palace were very shabby. It needed a makeover. But I had no problem with the air conditioning besides it being too cold. I’m anemic and it was so cold, that I had to ask for blankets. The best part of my stay was when I went to the pool area. I had an issue with my order and requested a manager. Mr. Alex came up to me very professionally. He introduced himself and asked how can he assist me. He heard my situation and handled it with care. He expressed his sincere concern and after that I had no problems spending my money with Shades. I will definitely refer everyone to go to Shades. The food and drinks were delicious. Thank you Mr. Alex for making my vacation better. 😋

We stayed at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace for three nights and overall had a great experience. The complimentary shuttles to the Disney resorts and being within walking distance of Disney Springs were great highlights. It’s worth noting that the walk can feel a bit long if the weather is extremely humid, but during our visit it was manageable and enjoyable. Our tower room on a high floor came with a private balcony and a beautiful view of the Disney Springs area and the pool — a lovely sight to wake up to and unwind with in the evenings. The pool area (which had a lazy river!) was another favorite. Inside, the lobby is spacious and welcoming, and we found the on-site convenience stores helpful for grabbing quick essentials. The room itself was clean, roomy and comfortable. We did have one hiccup: after returning from the pool, we found ourselves locked out of our room due to a dead battery in the door lock. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication with the front desk — they didn’t inform us that we needed to be physically outside the door for maintenance to resolve the issue. This led to a delay and caused us to run late for our check-out. The hotel staff extended our check-out time. The miscommunication was quickly resolved, which was much appreciated! All things ended up fine. Despite that inconvenience, we were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities were excellent. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Location & Outstanding Staff – A Few Updates Would Make It Perfect Our family had a wonderful stay at Hilton Buena Vista Palace Orlando! The location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to Disney Springs, which made getting to restaurants and shops super convenient without needing to drive. The service really stood out during our stay. The front desk was warm and welcoming, and when I unexpectedly got my period, they kindly provided tampons—such a thoughtful and timely gesture. Amanda at Citrus 28 was consistently kind and helpful, and another sweet staff member made our kids’ day with a big cookie. Little things like that made the experience feel really personal and special. The hotel has great amenities, especially the pool and lazy river area, which our family loved. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but we did notice a few areas that could use some updating. The air conditioning unit was quite large and a bit outdated—it tended to swing between being extremely cold or too warm if not constantly running. The bathroom, while functional, could use some polishing; the tissue holder was loose and kept falling apart, and some fixtures showed wear. Overall, it was still a lovely stay with standout service. With a few renovations, this hotel could easily be top-tier. We’d definitely come back and recommend it, especially for families looking to stay close to Disney Springs with amazing staff who go above and beyond.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. First of all, the parking fee per day + tax is ridiculous to charge guests. $35 a day + tax. For a 3 night stay that is over $100 just to park. I had to park my car somewhere else to avoid paying over $100 in parking fees. The hotel is very noisy. For some reason when the room doors close, they don't just close, they slam! Very noisy. We heard the housekeeping staff right outside of our room early in the morning opening and hearing the doors slam. Their utility closet was near by our room. They were talking to each other loudly. It was just really noisy. I was told that there would be a microwave in the room and there wasn't. Only a coffee maker and a minifridge that doesn't even have a freezer section. Overall, I was not impressed. I have stayed at less expensive places with better atmosphere. If you're going with kids and don't mind paying the ridiculous parking fees and the noise, by all means stay there!! I know I will not!

We stayed at this property once before and really enjoyed our time there and the beautiful pool area however this time was like night and day compared to our last experience. They were having a convention of young girls for a dance competition which they completely overran the hotel screaming, jumping and running at all hours which of course is not the hotel's fault but it made for a very poor experience. The next morning I went down to the pool at 7:00 AM, it was dirty and unkempt from the night before. Girls hair ties, hair extensions, false eyelashes, food and whatnot laying at the bottom of the pool and all around the pool. I watched the maintenance crew come in after 8:00 AM sweep up a few pieces of leaves and coconuts on the ground and then proceed to stand under a palm tree for three hours and do nothing more but talk to each other as the guest pulled all of the debris out of the pool themselves. Pool maintenance showed up at 9:45 AM with a net while the pool was overrun with people. This should have been done early morning. I notified the main desk and they said it would be taken care of. I was at the pool all day and I never saw maintenance again. The Grand vacations representative was very pushy about signing up for a timeshare and when he asked me what my experience was so far I told him about the pool issue and he outright lied to me and said he had been there since early morning cleaning and I told him that was not the case as I had been sat in that pool chair since 7:00 AM and I was the only one out there other than the birds. Unfortunately, I didn't get photos of the dirty pool but here are some the next morning and it was clean. The front desk never recognized our Diamond status, they were unwelcoming and unfriendly. The room that I had chosen the day before with digital key was not ready at 6:00 PM I was told they would give us a different room, and as we had dinner reservations I couldn't argue and as we went to the room that I did not choose I got a notification that the one I did was ready with my digital key. I was also told the next morning I would have to come down and get new keys as one of these nights were a reward night and they considered it a separate reservation. Completely inconvenient on a vacation. When I went to do this the next day Hailey at the Diamond desk didn't even bother looking up to me or make eye contact and said give me a sec. I waited 5 minutes while she worked on her computer for her to reactivate my keys she never once said how are you or how was your stay, nothing. She handed me the key like I didn't matter and I didn't exist. I will never stay at this property again and I recommend you look into it before you do.

Yelp
The long and the short ... Location: Perfect. Why stay inside the Disney Resort and pay top dollar when you can walk 5 minutes to Disney Springs, the unofficial late transportation hub of the resorts? This is a great location for those without families who want access to Springs and the latest drop off of any resort bus. Vibe: There is NO real Disney magic here. Beware ... this is as souless a corporate conference center hotel as you'll find. Lots of cheer teams and business events so the lobbies are littered with 30-somethings in cheap blue suits with brown shoes and girls in $80 sparkly dresses for the post conference session drink ups. The lobby sucks ... it's basically a small area with a bar. Very little Disney theming throughout. Room choice: You do not want a room in the Island complex. It can be more private on one side but the other side faces a busy road and maintenence lots/equipmemt. The main Resort is where you want to stay, although its always crowded and the common areas feel small and cheesy. Higher floor rooms have balconies with nice views. Pool: A bright spot with a big lazy river and pool and outdoor bar. Fun for kids but lacking that Disney vibe. You could be in Daytona Beach vs. Disney. Very crowded, as to be expected. The lazy river smelled funky when we were there, like algae. Resort fees: Fuck these assholes for charging $50 resort fees and $35 parking. It's basically in the middle of nowhere and you can hop a bus from Springs to anywhere ... so their coach busses that take you to the parks are lame. Other than the pool, not sure what the resort fee of 1/4 the price of the actual room goes towards. Disney doesn't even charge resort or parking fees. Restaurants/Bars: If you are eating here vs. across the street at Springs, you are doing it wrong. The food at Costco is better and the bars feel like any bog corporate hotel. The rooms: Hello 1997 ... are you back in style? Stucco painted walls, a covered phone jack next to the toilet and those disgusting bright white flourescent lights which make the room feel like a gas station or convenience store. The single biggest mistake a hotel can make is to put in bright white lights vs. warm, incandescent style. I don't want to stay in a Home Depot. I want it to feel cozy. The shower is nothing special, although it is a walk in vs. a step in ... so props for that. Overall, the rooms feel like the late 90's and parts look like they haven't been updsted since then with rusty door casing and stained closet shelves. The main living space is more modern than the bathrooms. The mini-fridge barely kept anything cool and we were 'treated' to quite the sounds of nookie by the couple in the room next door a few nights as the walls are paper thin and there were 2 adjoining doors ... count 'em 2!!! So, we had noise coming through on both sides ... moaning behind one door and a loud television between the other door. Resort fee: As mentioned ... as bad an offender as it comes charging $50 per day. Shame Shame Shame! (Bell sound) Overall, I stay at The Swan or Dolphin to save the ridiculous charges at Disney Resorts for a similar experience using Marriott points. When not available, I do the Wyndham Springs tower, which is a bit less than this place ... if you have the same price at this place vs. Wyndham, choose Hilton Palace. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Springs,, so the location is amazing. If you want easy access to Disney Springs and stuff to do at an affordabke price, this hotel gets my approval. For a 'Disney Magic' vibe ... nah, this ain't it!

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin with our stay. We are gold members and received an email that we were being upgraded to a Disney Springs view on the 9th floor. When we checked in, the woman at the desk said we were upgraded again to a suite. We weren't sure we wanted to give up the view, but she convinced us that suites aren't often available and with a pool view, we should take it. Once we got the key, she then explained we would have to go to another building which was out by the pool. We had to walk over 5 minutes, outside and off the path where you go to Disney Springs. Ugh!!!! We were running late for dinner so didn't take time to look at the room, but did find that the stopper on the bathroom sink was broken and the water would not drain. We called maintenance, told them we were leaving and that they could fix it while we were gone. We had to trudge all the way back to the main building to meet friends at the bar. There were 3 patrons at the bar, but we could not get either bartender to wait on us. When they finally did, the wine pour was lousy. When we finally got back to our room, we found the sink fixed, but then noticed how run down and dreary the suite was. Our pool view didn't exist, but instead we looked at a dumpster. I was beside myself annoyed with the front desk for recommending this room. My husband complained the next day and they said we would get a $75 credit. The next morning we trudged all the way back to our car, which took 10 minutes. When we checked in, we asked how we could leave the parking lot after we checked out because there is a gate. She told us to keep a room key, and you could wave it at the spot at the gate and then deposit the key in the box. Guess what? It didn't work. We had to call with the help button for hem to open the gate. Super annoying. Our $75 credit was used to pay for the parking which was $35 plus tax. The hotel decided to keep the balance. I will never stay at this location again. We have been here several times and each time it has not been pleasant. Too many other hotels that are close to Disney Springs to stay here. Go to the Drury where there is never a problem.

Yelp
This is by far the worst Hilton I've ever stayed in. And it's all because of the people!! Oh my gosh...they could NOT care any less for their patrons and it's soooo very apparent. It started yesterday when I checked in. Got assigned to a room, no upgrades available for my Diamond status. Ok, fine. Room sucked...three doors immediately next to each other (room 773) and you could hear the other door close every single time - LOUDLY. I charged my phone overnight to be at the park all day, and guess what, charger fell out of the socket because it's so loose. The usb didn't work either. So I came back end of day today and asked to move to upgraded room. I don't know the hotel, so I have to trust the lady at front desk. She told me Island Bldg is upgraded suite. It's about a 5 minute walk from main hotel...with luggage. Just got here and I have a balcony that looks out over a forest. Nice. So much for a view of fireworks or anything nice at all. I ran across a guy working on the first floor asking for directions to this bldg, and he literally mumbled, its across from the pool. I asked further which direction I should go (had the option of two exits) and again he just mumbled, its across from the pool. Awesome, super helpful. Truly, avoid this hotel like the plague. It is not worth whatever deal you're getting. Promise. The employees don't care about you AT ALL. Super shame. Does not live up to Hilton standard I'm accustomed to.

Claudia M.

Yelp
I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel and it's proximity to the Disney parks as well as Disney Springs where everyone hangs out, shops and eats. The Hilton offers free shuttles to the Parks. You just have to register ahead of time. I did not register and we had to Uber there but we got the shuttle on the way back. They also have a great "lazy river". It was amazing! The pools were definitely heated. WE walked over to our Dinner reservations at Disney Springs on NYE. It was super convenient and low key. My husband had already made reservations for this night. Everything was booked. The first level of the Hilton has a food court which was also super convenient. I'm in love with this hotel and cannot wait to go back. A+ guys.

Denise S.

Yelp
Great resort. It's huge. Nice bar area and you can walk a 5 minute walk to the Disney springs overheard bridge that lands you right by the Christmas store. There's a lot to explore here but I only booked one night- last minute on Hilton points. They have a lazy pool and several bars. Great place to stay if you're looking for a Hilton in Disney property.

Yelp
I have never stayed off property when visiting Walt Disney World. I guess the location of this hotel was the most convenient it could have been. The hotel was a bit dated and could definitely benefit from some renovations to freshen up its look and feel. However, overall, my stay was positive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Despite its age, the hotel provided a comfortable experience. The parking lot was a bit odd and wasn't as close as I'd like, and I had to walk past a wasp nest daily. We alerted staff that it was there and in the path of guests, but nothing was ever done about it. If I had to stay off property again, I wouldn't rule out this hotel, but I won't actively go out of my way to book again.

Yelp
We live by St Pete beach, so we evacuated and used this as a "shelter" during hurricane Milton. During an incredibly stressful time for west & central Florida, the entire staff made this as calming as possible! The day before Milton was going to hit, I asked one of the staff in the market if anything would be open the next day. He cheerfully told me they'd be open at 7am for us, as many of the staff were staying on site to be available! The day Milton hit, the staff organized movies for the kids, cornhole, and other little activities to keep everyone distracted. They did a fantastic job of being there for us for whatever we needed...fresh towels, hot meals, and strong cocktails All in all this experience made me a believer in this property and team for a long time. Thank you all!

Tina H.

Yelp
We loved this hotel! Great amenities- close to Disney Springs - easy walk! Buses to the parks and rope-drop entry! Convenience store was awesome and we used it daily! My only complaint would be that the hallway where our room was - the carpet often seemed to be quite dirty.

marc j.

Yelp
We checked in last night - one night stay - the room temp set to 62 freezing ... turned on heat and it stunk so bad of burning dust or whatnot so turned it off after a bit and dealt with a very cold room. I have a recent knee injury and walking with cane- nights I need to ice and elevate - they put us on 5th floor near ice machine - which isn't working. I used the spare blankets / bedding to elevate and it was as hard and dense as a brick. That blanket was so worn and had iron burned marks - good will would reject it. This morning we got up and both the elevators are broken. We can hear it clunk but it won't come to the floor- lights aren't working. Hubby called front desk she said she would check ... we waited and waited and had to take the stairs with my knee. The girl at the front desk showed no care- was more annoyed. Said she would put a call to maintenance. Hubby went to check out and she got back on her cell phone.

John G.

Yelp
I don't understand the low reviews for this place. For the price you pay the amenities are GREAT! Walking distance (10 min) to Disney Springs. Awesome pool complex with lazy river. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint would be upon check in the room did have a strange smell but after leaving the slider open for an hour or so it was gone.

Fred K.

Yelp
Don't know why this hotel gets such low ratings. The location for those that don't want to wait for busses, Uber, and hotels that you can't really walk to shopping, you can't beat this location for Disney Springs lovers. A quick 6-8 minute walk and you are there. We did room service and breakfast buffet at Letterpress. Breakfast buffet is $28 pp and $15 for kids. It was quite big buffet and the space is large and airy with great views of the water. Plus Santa was there too! Room service was good but they messed up on our pizza (didn't get pepperoni) and they came back and gave us another pizza! Burger and wings were good too. We stayed at the island building and in a suite which was so spacious. They can modernize it a little bit like replacing the door handles and better lights. No complaints about the room. The pool complex that we walked into every day was very inviting with its lazy river, but the weather was a bit cold, although it is heated). The gift shop was small and wish they had a Disney store inside (like my previous stay at the Dolphin/Swan complex), the market came in handy (6am-1am) and they also have a small arcade room. They have busses to the Disney parks but we did Uber instead. Good stay at Disney!

Natasha J.

Yelp
Good room. Loved tubing in the lazy river! Breakfast at Letterpress restaurant was good. Arcade was ok.

Jeff F.

Yelp
Highly recommend! easy check in . very friendly. very accommodating. free shuttle to disney parks. rooms are very clean and spacious. nice balcony. restaurants and bar on location , also market / deli area. pool and lazy river on-site is perfect for small children and adults. there is a very nice poolside bar and restaurant the is great for adults and children. cannot say enough about how perfect this resorts is for the price we paid and it connects to bridge walk to disney springs for an additional adventure of shopping and fun .

Dina P.

Yelp
Came here for a work conference not leisure so my review will be solely based on that. Location was perfect, close to Disney springs (walking distance) so that was great. The actual hotel was alright it felt like some parts were under construction and some were modernized. The room was okay good enough for what we were there for. We walked around the pool areas and the cafe were also decent, again not the most modern but just fine. The conference areas were pretty big! Each room had a decent size - they were kinda all over the place but that's okay it was so cold getting some movement would hurt. The lounge bar in the main hotel was nice , drinks were good. They have this other bar that opens after the main hotel bar closes that they call Blue, the bar is super cute we met the bartender named Vinny which was a DOLL. For an in and out hotel it is fine - for a staycation I feel like it needs upgrades in the bathrooms and bedrooms because it is outdated in that aspect.

Jasmine J.

Yelp
I came to stay here quite by accident. However, it was a pleasant accident. The resort style design was an unexpected treat for work travel. I especially appreciate the spacious suite in the island building. It was super convenient to have the market on site open until 1 AM. I would return for a family vacay for sure. Walkable access to Disney Springs was also a huge plus.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Staying here for a conference. The front desk staff was outstanding. Check in was easy. Everything is super expensive... bottled drink $4.75, Grilled cheese sandwich, $9, but Disney property... price gouging is more than expected, The room, however, No. For the second night, it is 2:45am as I write this and I am wide awake because the walls are paper thin and the person in the ROOM NEXT TO ME snores like a freight train. I am in a room that has a connecting door, not sure if that is the problem, but I hear everything they do. It's like having a roommate I didn't ask for. Can he pay half my room bill? But as this is a vacation location, a baby crying, toddlers, enthusiastic honeymooners, anything like this could be a real problem. Otherwise everything is just old. The hair dryer is broken, plugs on nightstand for phones won't stay in because they are so loose. There's a weird chemically smell that hits you in the face when you walk in--assuming it's the AC. Sheets are cheap and scratchy, Disappointing. Should be better for the cost. If you are here on business and have a choice, don't stay here. This has been a miserable stay.

Monica G.

Yelp
Stayed for one night only so only basing this experience with check in and the room. Immediately upon Walking in there was a musty weird smell. Luckily it was only in the hallway and not in my room. Aside from that, Chicken was a breeze. The Checking in process took no more than two minutes. We booked the accessible room by mistake And I do have to say that this room is really spacious For someone in a wheelchair. The bathroom had a small ramp and things to hold on to throughout the space. This room Had two balconies , one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. We stayed In the second floor and had a few nice trees as the view , but the views were limited. Bed was comfortable But the sheets were quite thin and there was no comforter. There was only one big towel there should be at least two. We did not eat or drink anything in the hotel since our time was limited. Self parking was free but breakfast is not. This hotel is walking distance to disney springs which is very convenient.

Han P.

Yelp
Very impressed with this hotel. First off, I'd recommend for anyone visiting to upgrade to a room with a view of Disney Springs. As of right now, the Disney Dreams That Soar drone show is viewable at night from my room. I also had a view of the float lagoon which was so much fun to enjoy as well. And lastly, I could also see the volcano "erupt" at the Rainforest Cafe in Disney Springs. The breakfast buffet at Letterpress was so cute with great food options and service, it was a great add on to our reservations. Parking was easy, hotel staff were courteous, the room was great. I definitely will plan to return here in the future!

Sally A.

Yelp
The staff is wonderful. The lobby is beautiful...location is awesome. The rooms are disgusting. Outdated and the carpet is filthy. If you stay here request a room on one of the top floors 8-10...(these are the renovated rooms) everything below that is not renovated and NASTY. I didn't even want to use the shower or bathroom. Just so so so gross. I've stayed at nicer motels.

Jack W.

Yelp
I booked here with my fiance for Christmas and was met with a nightmare of a stay. The rooms are extremely outdated, the toilets sound like train whistles when you flush, the room smelled like musk/smoke, the walls are paper thin and you can hear every sound on the floor. I was hoping to experience the great quality that Hilton is known for, but the stay did not meet even the slightest of expectations. Will not stay here again!!

Krizia C.

Yelp
Pure trash. Checked in and had to leave. The place is a dump and the customer service including management are the worst. Need to go back to hospitality training asap. We have stayed in an array of hotels in Disney from Disney hotels, four seasons, swan, embassy suites etc and this one is by far a dump. The room is disgustingly dirty and smells. Old furniture, old bathroom with paint and chipping everywhere. Total hot mess at front desk when checking in even if you have Hilton status so I can't imagine if you don't the nightmare you will go through. Hotel is indoor atrium style so everything echos. They blasted music till 11 pm so kids couldn't sleep. I get night life but this is Disney... called manager and they said deal with it. Literally! I have recordings of the music blasting, customer service responses etc I'll share directly with Hilton. Do yourself and your family a favor and DO NOT stay here.

Kelly T.

Yelp
I was scheduled to volunteer at Give Kids the World on Friday evening, so my husband made a hotel reservation for us at this hotel. I am so glad he did! The property is on Buena Vista Drive near Disney Springs. It is a beautiful property indeed. The main hotel tower is attached to their conference center. The island building is a separate building to the right of the main tower, overlooking the beautiful pool. The rooms in that building are more like suites or apartments with a bedroom as well as a living room and 2 bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable. The pool also has a lazy river. The hotel has several restaurant options as well. We had dinner at the main restaurant, Letterpress. It was very good. I also picked up breakfast at Citrus this morning. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty as well as substantial. The ambiance at this hotel was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Jeff M.

Yelp
Pros: In great shape, nice facilities, courteous & friendly staff, good food. Cons: Understaffed, massive facility that puts many guests too far from essential points-of-service (note: be warned if they want to put you in the "Island Building"). Expensive prices and uninformed service (in the high-end restaurant, when you order a pint of Guinness for $12 and get handed a can straight out of the refrigerator). Pretty decent family place with a great pool, not good at all for business travel. O Town is a corporate nightmare in general. This experience is right on par.

Yelp
I came here for a staycation with family and friends. I RSVP for two rooms side by side which was great because we had kids with us and they were excited to share the space with each other. Rooms were in top shape. Everything was clean. The only thing that should be replaced is the mattress on the beds. The bathroom ventilation system wasn't working that great because my cousin dropped a bomb on us and we couldn't use that bathroom for awhile. Thankfully we had another restroom to use. The views was spectacular, tv worked great. Coffee bean coffee is my fav. We loved the pool and lazy river. Except the lazy river was dirty and it should've been cleaned a bit more but in all reality we had an amazing time and we loved the lazy river the most. We will definitely come back again except this time we want a view facing Disney Springs.

Yelp
Overall our stay was fine but I wouldn't rush back to this hotel when the Signia if down the road. Location of this hotel to Disney springs is great though. This hotel needs updating for sure and the layout is kinda weird. Lobby is not all that inviting feeling compared to most hotels in the area. Overall I would say fine if your favorite places are booked but wouldn't be my top choice.

Yelp
Can't speak to the rooms but was here for a conference and the staff are very friendly. Meeting rooms aren't freezing so that's always a huge plus for me. Decent food options at letterpress and they make a mean iced brown sugar shaken oat espresso at citrus 28. Lastly, no shuttle to Disney springs because it is "walkable" but expect it will take you some time since it is a rather convoluted path that is by no means a straight line.

Yelp
Wow, one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at! Room is smaller than expected, but has a balcony and a great view. The lobby and restaurant is well stocked and also has hot foods for a quick lunch or dinner, but the highlight is the pool. The lazy river has floatie tubes, is well shaded, and has a bar with the friendliest bartenders. The entire outdoor pool area is extremely clean and even has WiFi access from the lobby. P.S. The frozen mango daiquiri is DELICIOUS!

Yelp
Perfect hotel for kids and the location is perfect . The pools were amazing. Beds were comfy . Very large room , awesome view . Was able to see fireworks . Right across from Disney Spring . My kids loved the game room . We will be staying here again.

Yelp
Well, after my driver dropped me off at the wrong hotel, I finally made it here. See there are two Hiltons and they are located across the street from one another. After traversing the Florida streets, especially in this area, I was hoping for a fast transition to my room. I had to be somewhere rather quickly. Welp, that wasn't the case. When I entered the lobby I made my way straight to the front desk. Start my check in process and it appears that the lady helping me isn't putting up with my ish. A lot of things had gone wrong with this check in, and a few things may have been my fault. My bank held me up for nearly an hour thinking that I stole my own information and went out of state. Once that was taken care of I was able to get checked in finally. Before heading up to my room I had a few questions. I wanted to know where the shuttle was that would take me to another hotel, the hotel where I needed to be over an hour ago. The one where I needed to be for work and I was now late. Whatever, I also asked a few questions about proximity to food and what not. A few of the questions were spot on, but then there were answers that were not correct in the least. The shuttle that I needed was not at the traditional shuttle stop. So there I was sitting for another hour before I ended up taking a different mode of transportation. Anyway, I then finally have a moment to look over my room. The room was pretty spectacular looking at first glance. But looks can be deceiving. I liked the space that the room provided. Nice king bed, seating area, balcony that overlooked the fountain, decent sized bathroom. Well, after finally being able to settle in after a long day, I saw some flaws. It's rather noisy, I heard my neighbors every single time they entered, exited, and opened drawers. I also got a good amount of noise from the lobby area. My door to my room opened up to an area that overlooked the lobby and the noise travelled up. The tv wasn't all that great. My tv didn't allow me to see what was on any channel, I had to guess what was on. I have allergies and each morning that I woke up my eyes were running tears down my face. I wasn't understanding why until I had gone to the bathroom. Above the toilet is an exhaust fan. While using the facilities I noticed that the exhaust fan stated to "change filter every six months." Well guess what, they hadn't done that in maybe six years. Inside the exhaust fan there was an enormous ball of dust and who knows what else in there. Wish I had a picture to show y'all, oh, wait I do, I will add it to this review. It was also a bit odd that the bathroom portion was broken up, toilet and tub/shower in one room and sink with closet in another. But the light switch for both were in one area. So, to sum up this place: The good: -walking distance to Disney Springs. -lazy river in the pool area. -shuttle service to certain areas (Disney switched up certain areas with a different shuttle service). -Gym. -Restaurants on property as well as a convenience type of store to buy small snacks. -Huge convention center complex attached. The bad: -Poor ventilation in the bathroom. -closet was hard to open and made it a hassle to use. -no clear answers for simple questions. -being charged to your room for something you already paid for in the store. The odd: -DVD rentals available instead of a movie channel provided (yes, there was a RedBox like set up downstairs to rent a movie) -the multiple entrances to the hotel that can confuse a person as to where the lobby might be, or shuttle for that matter. -the layout of buildings. In the end, my work pulled me from this hotel to where they were stationed. If it wasn't for that, I'm sure I could dispel more about this location. I did really enjoy the proximity to the shopping/dining area. That allowed for me to venture out to grab food elsewhere instead of being stuck with what was only offered in house.

Yelp
We stayed here overnight for a last minute hotel close to Disney Springs. Here's are the major takeaway: -Location: Perfect for Disney Springs. Within walking distance. -Parking: Nightmare and super inaccessible. From an accessibility standpoint, this was really disappointing. It's quite a ways away and an extra charge for valet when you're already paying for top service at a nice hotel. -Cleanliness: The room was honestly gross. I wish I could say better but... there was a dirty q-tip in one of the chairs (see pic), the sink water at one point had yellow/brown water coming out of it (see pic) and there was dust hanging from the patio door indoors. There was also hair from previous guests at the sink. - Service: some were super nice (valet folks, bell hoper guy), some just ignored us and tended to guests who arrived even after (Bartenders at the Pool lounge) so service was either a real hit or big miss. The front desk folks were really nice and accommodating as well! - Pools: best part! They're heated to an extent and pretty clean!! Love that there's a lazy river. A great place to spend if you have kids.

Yelp
We stayed here on a recent visit to Orlando and overall we enjoyed our stay. We checked into the room via the app so we didn't need to visit the front desk upon arrival. The room was clean but was very loud. Our room was on the 2nd floor right above the kitchen which was very noisy but we brought a noise machine and were easily able to sleep. The pool was nice but got busy quickly. Definitely recommend going early to make sure you are able to grab chairs. We didn't bring a car so parking was not an issue for us and getting a rideshare was always very easy since Disney Springs is so close. The number one perk to this property was the ability to walk to Disney Springs. We loved starting our day with a nice walk to grab coffee. We would visit this property again in the future.

Yelp
Pleasant hotel with nice accommodations and convenience. Nice walking distance to Disney springs . We were visiting Disney and the shuttle service to the parks were always on time . The pool area very nice with very hot tub . Showers had great water pressure and also very hot temperature. The downside were the level of noise carried from the lobby even through the night and we were on the 9th floor. It would sound like a huge gathering down below but when we would look not a ton of people . Also another disturbance was in the mornings when other rooms opening up their balcony doors . This would make a huge noise almost like thunder or furniture being moved .

Yelp
Yelpers.... There are many many other accommodations that are better this Hilton property, I think we honestly could have done better staying at Hampton Inn. I'm diamond level with Hilton and this property has zero perks for Hilton diamond members other than the $15 food and beverage credit. The hotel was barely full and clearly they had upgrade space but opted not to provide it. Our rooms were honors rewards and we were placed in a far off wing with only a block of 6-8 rooms- advantage was it's quiet for the most part, but you can tell this a very dated property. Most annoying thing here is there are NO OUTLETS by the bed- this is 2024 and you gotta have outlets--- a power strip, something, anything... other strike was no hot water in the shower/tub- come on now, I know I can complain but once you move into a room it's a huge pain logistically to move out. The ONLY reason it gets another star is the pool/lazy river/outside bar, it is the only redeeming thing about this property. It makes a stay somewhat manageable but the rooms in the property and how they treat diamonds is just disgraceful. Hiltons are supposed to be the flagship for the brand and it really makes me re-evaluate my loyalty to the brand if they treat their most loyal customers like this. Transportation to the parks is mediocre at best, shuttles leave hourly at 35 after the hour. Since I'm staying on points I'm not getting dinged by the daily resort fee-- something that is deceptive at the least, but if you're staying here expect to add another 40/50 per night as a resort fee. $25 for self parking, $35 for valet... it all adds up and at this point for what you get it may be worth it to spend the extra to be on property with Disney. Diamonds if you're looking for upgrades at this hotel... look elsewhere your loyalty is not recognized or rewarded here.

Yelp
Pool and lazy river were dirty and had a "milky like residue!" The water that spurts out in one part of the lazy river was off. The hot tub was not very hot and needed about 6-8 inches of water added to it. I had to sit on the bottom for water to completely cover me! We stayed in the Island part. Table in my room was broken. Kids playing in lobby at 1AM until the front desk of main hotel was called!! Elevators smelled like a zoo. No do not disturb sign available so we had housekeeping knocking on door early morning way before check out! A pale comparison to Bonnet Creek.

Yelp
When it comes to reviewing, one of my biggest ways of rating is by how much $$$ I pay for the service. If I pay more, I expect more, pure and simple. I don't expect filet mignon and a Taco Bell and I sure as hell expect more than a mystery meat taco when I go to a fine dining establishment. Sometimes you are surprised by high quality at crater prices but it should never be the other way around. Hilton Palace in Orlando finds itself in the middle of this scale. First off, they charge a resort fee of $35 a day for "additional amenities" that I don't want/need. The pool area should not be considered an extra perk, it's an amenity that is commonly offered at most hotels. So that knocks one star off their score right from the start. Room-wise, they are Hilton type standard. Comfy beds, good toiletries, and decent layout. Rooms are on the smaller side but most have a patio area which is a nice perk. Grounds and building are pretty nice. Some areas could use a facelift but nothing too off-putting. As a Diamond level Hilton Honors member, I've come to expect certain perks that have severely been diminished post-Covid. Instead of free breakfast for each occupant, I'm given two $15 credits to use each day for food or drink which doesn't cover the cost of much, let alone feeding a family of four or more. Which strikes me as odd for here. Prices for food and drinks are outrageously high when I can walk across the street to Disney Springs and dine and drink cheaper in better ambiance. Crazy, money-losing decision Hilton made there as money walks across the street. Final annoyance, poolside restaurant has pizza for $17 put since their oven is conveniently always not working, I had to go inside a buy a pizza there for $22. The few steps makes quite a difference in price I guess. On the positive side, the pool area is great, well maintained, and the water is sparklingly clean. The location is also great as it is right across the street and a short walk to DS. Buses also can take you to the theme parks and they are considered a Disney Good Neighbor resort so you get a few perks there. Not the worst but enough annoyances to drag their score down. Simple steps like better prices and a return to guest care (especially loyal ones) could make this place amazing over just OK.

Yelp
Stayed here during a work trip and will say some aspects of the hotel impressed me and others did not! I will start off with the walls are paper thin, I could literally hear exact conversations of the guest in the room next to me. This was awful as I could not get a restful nights sleep. The hotel is also huge, so it made for a lot of waking which I wouldn't mind if I was there for vacation, but I was there for work. It sucked having to walk from the hotel closer to the pool to the "main hotel". The hotel pool is really nice, and has a nice bar and hangout area. It also has a lazy river which is super cool, and the pool was very clean. The property itself is also very beautiful. It's also very close to Disney Springs. The food at the hotel was just ok...typical hotel food you could say. It's a great spot if you want to be close to Disney Springs.

Yelp
Although the front desk agents were very nice and helpful, this hotel is severly outdated and rundown... on the level of a shabby 1 star motel at best. Went there as I believed the Hilton brand to be higher end, but I was sadly proved wrong. The suite looked as if hadnt been updated since 1975. Everything from the tiny, rundown bathroom, to old bed side light fixtures, and electrical outlits and doors that have never been replaced-just painted over, along with tacky mirrored closets, a mini fridge that would be suited for an old camper as it was so small and low to the floor. The fire alarm in the room was actually a bell...from at least 50 years ago! This suite had a low to the floor bed facing a giant confrence table and the sheets were dirty when inspected (always a must check before commiting to stay). The TV was way off to the side of the bed...not ok. The whole room has a terrible layout. No modern ameities in this room what-so-ever (besides that TV off to the side). The photos speak for themselves. Checked in then checked out right away! Stayed at a high end hotel just down the road! Will never consider a Hilton stay-ever!

Yelp
The star is for the yummy breakfast and the great service from the wait staff. The terrible rating is for the housekeeping. Be aware that if you leave anything in your room, the housekeeping will take it.

Yelp
My family (myself, my wife and five-year-old daughter) stayed at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace for three nights in February 2022 and had an overall positive experience. Here's what you should know: 1) Location: It's a 20-minute Lyft ride from the airport and a 10-minute walk to Disney Springs, a land filled with shops and restaurants along a man-made lake. It's so close to Disney World that free shuttles are offered daily. 2) Rooms: For Florida, we thought the rooms would be bigger. However, since you're not often in your room hanging out, they worked fine. Our room had two queen size beds and a balcony overlooking Disney Springs and the pool area. There was a small closet and drawers for our things. It was nice to have a balcony to dry our bathing suits. 3) Amenities: The lead amenity is the pool area complete with a deep pool, a kid pool, a hot tub and a lazy river. There are plenty of pool chairs and free towels to use. The hotel has several restaurants, bars, DVD rental stations by the elevators and a decent size fitness room, It also has plenty of outdoor space to sit and relax. 4) Service: Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful!

Yelp
This is not a place to stay if you are expecting business class service. As a diamond member for years. I will never stay here again. This hotel doesn't know how to treat business travel guests. Staff was very unfriendly!!!!! I arrived at 3:30pm and I had pre checked in on my app. I went to the desk to get the keys in my room and was told my room was not ready. I was fine with that, except I ask for an estimated wait and I was told they couldn't give me that time. I was told I would get a call on my cell phone when the room was ready. NO CALL! I noticed I had a room key in my app available. I needed to be at a dinner with a group at 4:30pm and wanted to freshen up...... I went to the lobby bar to have a beverage while I waited and it didn't open till 4pm. Rooms were very average. TV in the room didn't work the first night. This got fixed. Resort fee is $38.00 per night. This is to cover Disney transportation and usage of the pool...... I did neither. I would suggest staying at the Double Tree or the other Hilton next to Disney Springs. This hotel overall was very disappointing!!!!!!!

Yelp
Do not ever book at this hotel. They have the worst customer service. Dirty rooms, terrible food and BUGS. I am too exhausted to go into more details at this point but my room was covered in bugs. Check out the pictures. This hotel ruined my entire trip with my so. For Disney world. Please don't do this to yourself.

Yelp
Looks so much nicer online. Our room wasn't ready until after 4 then when we got to the room the bathroom did not look like it was cleaned. Splatters in the toilet and seat and hairs in the sink. The safety lock had to be taped to the wall to prevent us from getting locked out of our room. Just overall an under kept property. The pool is nice but odd smells all around. This is def an affordable option in a great location but felt more like a motel. They also are not dog friendly as most Hilton's are. Would be a great option if they did a remodel!

Chris P.

Yelp
My family has been staying at this hotel for the past several years, so we have a bit of knowledge about this Hilton property. In fact, our 7 year old son was here twice before his first birthday. This locations is pricey but for good reason. You have access to the Disney property across the street to Disney Springs. Buses take you to all four parks. If you want a break from the parks or a mid day cool down...the pool and bar are absolutely top notch! Complete with lazy river and hot tub! Hotel staff has always been super helpful and friendly. Depending on your room selection, the south facing rooms see the parks aaand, fireworks. This is a great hotel. Of the many stays we've had one room we requested to be changed due to a weird smell in the room we were given. They accommodated us as quickly as possible and our stay was great. Well worth the price for the benefits you get!

Jeff M.

Yelp
Fine hotel, beds a bit firm, nice pool and lazy river. Nice lobby bar can get loud until midnight if a convention is present. Walk to Disney springs, free shuttles to the park. Food expensive and not the best but a huge grab and go area. I stay here whenever I can't get DVC points.

Louis F.

Yelp
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and it was great, but our latest stay was very disappointing. To start we were hit with an obscene resort fee that didn't match what we were told When booking. This was followed by a lot of markup in the shops for standard items that used to be more reasonable. The room was ok but had a weird smell. We sucked it up but on checkout we look through the room throughly and found bugs in the room and a BLOOD stain on the sheets we slept on for two nights that wasn't from us. I hope they remodel and being this hotel back up to the Hilton standard. We won't be staying here again until they do!

Brad B.

Yelp
Hotel is not very family friendly. The "preferred" rooms are loud and not very well kept. For being a Disney preferred hotel you would think they'd encourage family visitors. They do not. They want to tend to the business and trade show crowd. There's money in that for sure I get it, just don't try to market yourself as a Disney family hotel. My family and I went down to the family pool that was being overrun by a trade show and their private party. Would've been nice to swim, have a bite to eat, and some drinks by the pool. This was not possible on the day my family tried to enjoy the space. Spend your time and money elsewhere. Hilton should be ashamed.

Yelp
When you need a place to crash for the weekend within arm's reach of Disney Springs, Epcot, etc. you typically stay somewhere around Hotel Plaza Blvd. I personally prefer Hilton properties and have previously stayed at this location so I kind of knew what to expect... I redeemed points for my weekend stay and it was around 60k per night for a view of Disney Springs on a high floor. Features a nice hotel lobby with attentive staff and a good bar! Major complaint is the elevator situation, they only had one or two working at a time and this is a busy hotel - so you can imagine how inconvenient it was at certain busy times. The self parking situation ($22) also sucks if you don't want to shell out for Valet ($42) - it's an uphill walk from the parking lot and depending on how booked they are it's not always a short one. Our room was decent. It was clean but it was definitely one of those hotel rooms that has been painted over and remodeled so many times it just couldn't really hide it's age well anymore. The walls are thin and we were literally wedded into a tiny corner between 3 other rooms. We could hear our neighbors a few times throughout the night but it never really bothered us that much or disturbed our sleep. Our particular room featured a very small patio with a pool view and a pretty good view of Disney Springs, which is just across the street from this property. No major complaints about the room but keep in mind this is a family property near theme parks and attractions, so expect families and some extra noise compared so other hotels or resorts. I wanted to give this Hilton property 3 stars but I am going with 4 - On the last night I was there I left my wallet at the pool and didn't even realize it. We got back to our room (not 3 minutes after leaving the pool deck) and the phone was ringing. Security already grabbed my wallet and was holding onto it for me! I couldn't believe how quick and friendly they were about that, and how thankful I am that someone else didn't swipe it. I really appreciated that! There was a pretty nice cafe/restaurant downstairs on the first floor along with a pricier full service restaurant on the third floor. Pool was really nice and features a lazy river and which can be relaxing if too many kids aren't horseplaying around. There is a restaurant and bar on the pool deck with a large open lawn space for games and just relaxing in the sun. Overall I enjoyed the stay and I feel it was worth redeeming some of my points for a quick weekend getaway! We would stay here again.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
The resort is located in Disney property. We loved that it had a walking trail that takes you directly to Disney Springs. The resort offers a large pool, a lazy River, and splash pad for kids. The amenities in this property are great! They also had a pool bar and a large turf area with several corn holes and a jumbo checkers set. The rooms were not very clean. There was chilling paint, lots of rust, dirty bathroom fan, and flies in the bathtub. The carpet appeared to have never been cleaned and our sink appeared to have coffee stains. The room was very dusty too. Overall, because of poor cleanliness, I do not think we will choose this property on our next staycation.

Yelp
Do not book this hotel is you are planning on traveling to the parks. With small children you will have to wait at least an hour when the park closes for your transportation to arrive.
