The momo and chicken Tandoori are standout dishes—rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The service is warm and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. While there was a slight inconsistency with the tandoori being a bit overcooked, it didn’t overshadow the deliciousness of the meal. This spot is worth a return visit!

This is the best tasting Indian food in the north shore. It’s incredible. The butter chicken is awesome and the garlic naan is amazing and flakey and good flavor. Highly highly recommend coming here.

I spent some time in Nepal several years ago, so I’m always on the hunt for good momos, especially veggie. So I was thrilled to find this place. I was with my family, who sampled the butter chicken momos, which they pronounced delicious. Around the table we also had gobi alou, sag paneer, veggie byrhani, chicken curry, chicken masala, and of course samosas and nan plus a mango shake. All was delicious, and a good value for the high quality food. As for the ambiance, it was lovely and not crowded on a Sunday night. I have been in a Himalayan hut, and while this beautiful restaurant looks nothing like that tiny hut, the welcome and friendliness were the same! Thank you for a terrific meal.

I’ve been regularly going to this place for three years and it used to be top notch. I went yesterday again and it was incredibly disappointing, everything changed dramatically. The dishes we ordered did not fit the description and were not like how they always were (e.g. the Malai Kofta was stuffed with vegetables which is usually not the case). The curry base was watered down and more like soup. Everything was over fried and we waited an hour for the food that ended up giving us food poisoning symptoms. On top of all of that, the prices of each item was more than it is in the menu, when we brought that up, we were offered a 10% discount, but no logical reason for why the prices don’t match. What a shame that this place became what it is now when it used to be great.

Very long wait, i ordered online at 6pm it was to be ready at 6:30, waited an hour in a snow storm for food. Staff no help, no speak English 10 dasher waiting noone at the front desk for assistance. I even told people coming in to eat there don't waist your time 😒 noone here for you, you be waiting forever like I was. Need better service for sure. Definitely not returning here 😒

Extremely clean! Kind and attentive server! Food is wonderful- not salty or oily like many other Indian restaurants! Veggies are great! It was a yummy meal and we absolutely will be back! Had Dal and Mixed Veggie Curry spicy! Really good Thank you for a satisfying Indian meal!

Great spot for delicious Nepalese & Indian food! 🍛🔥 Flavorful curries, amazing biryani, and fresh naan. Plus they even have Indian and Nepalese’s beer 🍻. Service can be a bit slow, but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

After our workout, the Hubby and I came to The Curry Hut today for their buffet lunch special. I had an Indian style pancake, seasoned veggies, goat in a savory sauce, chicken breast folded in a cream curry sauce, basmati rice, a fried veggie thing and Naan of course! All you can eat lunch for under $12 a person on weekends and under $11 on weekdays. . The owner is so nice and really cares about his customers and restaurant. The staff is on top of refilling waters and Naan and do so in a friendly, efficient manner. Solid spot for a mix of lots of great flavors Look forward to next time!

This place has gone way downhill. In its best days a few years ago it was maybe a 4. Notice how many of the 4 star reviews are from people who have never been to an Indian restaurant? We were there on a Friday night and there were no more than 10 people there. With an empty restaurant the service was still slow! And the food was boring and not tasty. We suspect that some of it was leftover and reheated from the lunch buffet. Is that legal? No flavor and just plain not good. Don't bother with this place. Prices also a little high. We spent our time looking longingly out the window at Cluckers restaurant across the street.

Had high hopes (considering the cost) we were grossly disappointed. The food was very bland. The tandoori platter for 2 was very dry, the portions were small, and the flavor almost nonexistent- saying under salted and under seasoned is too generous. The chicken tikka masala was more like a curry- it appeared to be par boiled chicken added to jarred sauce. The lamb samosa was under seasoned and crumbly. The veggie ones were also bland and 90% potato

Hello? $9.95 for tasty all you can eat Indian food? Yes please!! We have been here several times for the brunch/lunch buffet as well as ordering off the menu and have yet to be disappointed...really. The food and the service has always been good, so I don't have any complaints. I can't say its the biggest buffet out there, but in terms of taste, I think its very good. Soft, warm, fresh naan, salad bar, tasty samosas, tandori chicken, pakora chips, papadum, spiced fluffy rice, goat curry, sweet carrots with almonds, spiced cauliflower, and a few other dishes plus 2 soups and a dessert. If they are low on something they make more quickly and refill naan as often as you like. My water glass was never empty. I say if in the area, check it out. It is a little hidden behind some trees/bushes and there is a small theater in the same building, but just look for the red sign that says Curry Hut.

I've eaten from Curry Hut on three different occasions: -Catered event (3 stars) -Dinner (5 stars) -Lunch Buffet (4 stars) Dinner Food: 1. Chicken Mukhani: Creamy and delicious! Butter chicken but with lots of flavor and the perfect consistency to me! 2. Lamb Tikka Masala: absolutely devine- I don't particularly like lamb but it was cooked well to take off the pungent flavor of lamb. and drenched in that tikka masala sauce, it was a good variation of the normal chicken tikka masala. 3. Naan: Crispy and heavenly! It was a tadd tad oily but the crispiness of the naan was just perfection. Definitely not good when it's made in bulk during catered events but in these individual pots, it was much better. I also tried their Lunch buffet. It was good but I still prefer ordering individual dishes because it ended up being about the same price for buffet as opposed to dinner but we could take the leftovers. AND i feel as though the quality of the dinner food was better. For example, The buffet didn't even have Chicken Tikka Masala as an option so it was very limited. The Chicken Mukhani was SO good during dinner but during lunch it was pretty okay. And the Naan was sooooo amazing during dinner but during the buffet it was not up-to-par. :/ Some people don't like Curry Hut but everything was pretty good for me. Parking was a bit difficult. and the quality of food varies depending on how it is ordered. These two issues costs Curry Hut one star. But I'll be back for more eventually!

Five stars because it's the only one of its kind in the area! And they do it well. Especially superior is the chicken tikka masala, and their aloo gobi. Their naan is perfect, flaky, and buttery. Their samosas are killer as well! They do have a lunch buffet, but I prefer ordering from the menu-- or even doing takeout! It's not super inexpensive, but they do have a monopoly on the Indian food market in the immediate vicinity, so for a once-in-a-while tikka treat (aka every time I visit my parents), this is the go-to!

I absolutely LOVE this place - it's easily among my favorite restaurants of all time! They have an expansive dinner menu to choose from, and their lunch buffet is a terrific deal. I've never had a dish I didn't adore. Everything was very tasty, and made to taste. With a coupon, or online gift certificate, you can really treat yourself to good appetizers, a few dinners to share, a drink or few, and a tasty dessert for a good price. Whenever my roommate and I feel like treating ourselves, we make a trip to Highwood for Curry Hut. Best place to park is alongside the building, near the theater entrance, or in the Metra station lot after 5 pm. The Highwood stop on the Metra Union Pacific North Line is just a few meters away, making it convenient to get to, even without a car.

I so wanted to like this place but unfortunately was very disappointed. Service was great, food on the other hand was just NOT good. Started with chicken Samosa which were plain horrible. Sliced open the fried appetizer and a waft of rancid old freezer burnt chicken couldn't even be hidden by the spices---gross! We also ordered garlic naan which was the only delicious dish we had. The lamb kebab was dry and again the meat tasted old. Worse was the chicken tikka masala. The curry sauces were delicious however the chicken tasted old as if they defrosted old chicken from 2015. It's so unfortunate since the sauces tasted complex and were flavorful but to serve old meat is unacceptable. This is an absolute Do Not Return!

We went for lunch buffet on Sunday around 1:45 pm. Being from India, I could tell the quality and taste of food was just not up to the mark. They had 4 basic starters.. out of which - chicken drumsticks were so dry, cold and stinky. Samosas filling was also not that great. The taste of daal and all the other vegetables were very average. They had one chicken gravy which was slightly better. Desserts were average too.. I don't recommend.

Hey All, Reports of The Curry Hut being closed are erroneous. They changed the website address to http://www.curryhutnepaliindiancuisine.com/. If you go to the old web site (curryhutrestaurant.com) it shows that domain name is for sale leading people to believe it's closed. It's not.

I've been coming here for almost ten years and it is a regular favorite. I don't have first-hand knowledge of what authentic Indian and Napalese food should taste like, but Curry Hut hits a wide array of spice, balance, and tender meats for my taste buds. The buffet has standard delicious fare, but also has exposed me to goat and other Himalayan dishes I wouldn't have otherwise tried. The service is kind. They really lead with their hearts. Curry Hut holds a special place in my life because this was where I would take my son when he was 2 and 3 to introduce him to new spices and he still loves Indian food at an age where chicken nuggets rule. My wife and I get carry out consistently and have always been impressed and happy to have leftovers to look forward to. I have seen some customers complain in micro-aggressive, condescending tones on occasion. Please don't go out in public if you're going to be low-key xenophobic. There is a Claimjumpers 10 minutes away that will suit you better.

I've been coming here for years and, until recently, didn't have a negative thing to say. We've had carry out and dined in. You get lots of food, delicious food, at a good price. Eating in is always a bit awkward, as the restaurant is often fairly empty. It doesn't worry me, as I figure they do a lot of their business in carry out. It can just feel a little weird to be one of a few tables in such a large space. Last time we were there, we took my grandmother to celebrate her birthday. I ordered the lamb vindaloo, as I have before, but this time it was almost inedible. All I could taste was the heat. I love spicy food, but this had no other flavor. I had to mix some spinach from my grandmother's saag and some sauce from my husband's tikka masala just to make it edible. That said, the saag paneer and tikka masala were wonderful as always (and the naan, mmmm!!), and I'll just know not to order the vindaloo again in the future.

I picked up take-out from here for the first time this evening. I will make plans to dine in very soon, as the restaurant is very nice and has a romantic ambiance. Got home and my food was still hot because it was packaged so nicely in recyclable foil. This was truly the best meal I've had in weeks! I ordered palak paneer and it was divine. The spice was so perfect and perfectly paired with my veggie samosa. I felt like it was a home-cooked meal. The palak paneer paired perfectly with the naan as well. I will have 3 meals out of this! I'm so glad I chose to order from this place tonight. GREAT MEAL and very nice service. It only took about 15 minutes for them to put my food together. Amazing.

Amazing lunch buffet! Service is always friendly here and the food is consistently good. If you are vegetarian, this is a really great spot in the area to get delicious veggie friendly dishes with a lot of great flavor.

We went here after driving by and smelling the food in the air. It was my first time eating Indian food and it was EXCELLENT. We spoke with the owner as he was our waiter and he was very kind and made sure to select a perfect dish for me after I told him it was my first time. The food was so flavorful and the bread was great. Looking forward to going back and trying something else.

The all you can eat buffet was great for the price. We came here for a birthday lunch. I also had the chance to enjoy the lasie mango drink. The place was clean and the staff was quick to come by and attend to our table when needed.

My wife and I have ordered out from here on many occasions, but over the past several months, the quality has steadily declined, and tonight, my chicken was raw. I am posting the pics. I ordered the Chicken Tikka. When I called to let them know, the gentleman over the phone said, "You can microwave it..." Really - no thank you. Take a look at the pics and you will see. We went back and forth for a little bit, and he finally said he would refund my credit card. Literally, asked me to microwave it several times... because I generally like to microwave my takeout as soon as I get it home. Curry Hut, get your game together, until I hear of significant improvements, I am taking my business elsewhere and letting the small town network know as well.

Still one if our favorite lunch buffets. Took the five and two year old grandchildren there and they couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Good food as always and reasonably priced

This is not quality indian food. In fact, I have had better Indian from the frozen section in Trader Joe's. We ate the Chicago Curry House and Nepal House in Chicago and those were decent (3 stars) and Curry Hut was supposed to be on owned by the same group but is clearly not on the same level. First of all the service was horrible. We had a total of 8 people in the restaurant and at least 6 staff. Even with that ratio we were not well attended to. The host was not friendly at all like it was a chore to take our orders. Now on to the food. I ordered a mango lassi for a drink and the yogurt used for the drink was sour and the drink was not sweet at all. I stopped after 3 sips. I ordered dahi puri which is a typical Indian street food. What arrived was a soupy mess. The yogurt was again sour and the whole dish was drowned in it. There was no flavor or spice in the dish at all. I stopped after 2 bites. I ordered the keema and my friend the chicken tikka masala. The keema was ok but the peas in the dish was undercooked. The chicken tikka masala was not flavorful at all and the meat overcooked. So why the discrepancy in the reviews (a lot of people have rated this place 4 stars)??? I am Indian, grew up in England (which has amazing Indian food, even in grocery store freezer sections) and my mother and father are amazing cooks. Perhaps this has tainted me for life. For those of you who go to this place and enjoy it, be prepared for better Indian food in Chicago (however the best Indian in the US is in NY and SF IMO). For those of you who are turned off like I am, this is NOT good Indian food so please don't judge a whole cuisine on this one place.

My review is 5 stars based upon the area (north shore) it would be 3-4 stars in the city but you have to appreciate the context of the suburbs. In any event, their chicken tikka masala is one of the best I have had, especially when requested extra spicy. I typically order from them off of grub hub and have been for a few years. They always get the order right. The naan is very good the other dishes are spot on. The lamb samosa is also a good choice from this place - not overly greasy or too much dough. The eggplant and also the lentils are good choices as well as their tandoori chicken. So far no bad dishes from this place in 2 years of ordering.

I've only been here for lunch, but I like that they have a buffet lunch. Cause, I never know what to order when I go to Indian places, only because I want to try so many things. I also like that they have one vegetarian dish, a meat dish, etc. That way if you're a vegetarian you can still go to the buffet. They bring out tandori chicken to the table as part of the buffet and you're able to get more if you like. The only thing I dislike is there are only about 4 main dishes to pick from, I wish there were more options. If there were more options I'd give this place five stars.

Worst lunch buffet that I have ever had! Food was cold, service was bad, half-cooked odd tasting curries, chicken tikka was like eating tomato purée out of a can! Probably the desserts saved the day! Never going to this place again!! EVER!

I came here once when it first opened and ordered carryout multiple times since then. It's almost as good as the indian food on devon. I've tried their Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Korma, Chicken Vindaloo and the like. I don't know if the service has improved since my first visit, but back then it was terribly slow. For no apparent reason.

We ordered a good variety of dishes. We would order half of them again but not all. My favorite thing was probably the baigan bhartha. The Nepali curry chicken is good too. I would not order the fish masala. It was extremely salty - not the sauce but the actual fish. The garlic naan is the way to go! It's a decent place to go for Indian food in the north suburbs. The northwest suburbs has way more and better options though!

Curry Hut is passable, but not close to the best Indian in Chicago. It's not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way. Yet another of those examples of places I'll go to if I absolutely have to eat on the north shore, but if I can hack the extra 25 minutes to make it to the city I'm heading south. All dishes are serviceable renditions of all the timeless Indian classics, but they come up just short of actually being good. The Samosas were OK., but frankly kind of leaden. The Saag Paneer was too pureed and had a slightly unappetizing brownish tinge to it. Flavor wise it was unacceptable. Bottom line, if you are stuck on the north shore and need an Indian food fix go here. If you have other options to satisfy your urge, go there.

I have not had Indian food for about 2 years since I moved here, and with Curry Hut this close, there's really no excuse. Why didn't I stop in earlier?! I ordered carry-out a couple nights ago to help me get through finals, and I was quite satisfied with my experience. The naan was oh-so-soft, the chicken Makhani (butter chicken) was tender and flavored exactly the way I like it, and the Palak Paneer was very solid. I think the rice and Gulab Jamun suffered a little bit for being carried out instead of eaten fresh, but that's hardly the restaurant's fault. I would definitely eat there again, and perhaps update my review as I sample more of their dishes. My only complaint is the slightly-high prices, but they're not prohibitive and the food is good.

I boycotted this place for a long time because of service issues, I certainly understand the poor reviews citing attitude or customer service problems. I have had them over the years as well. But the long and short of it is that I keep coming back for the food. With nothing else quite like it in the area, it fills a much needed niche. With a daughter who is a vegetarian and loves Indian food, there are plenty of tasty options here for her. My to dinner though is: an order of the vegetarian, samosa, mix raita, naan and chicken tikka masala. I love to slosh on the raita (a yogurt and vegetable mix) all over the crispy pastry of the samosa filled with potatoes and peas. Then the main event of the naan and chicken tikka masala. The sauce is so good you want to lick it off the plate. I love tearing off a piece of the naan and submerging it in the sauce, trying to get as much as possible onto the bread. Yum! I recently tried the vegetable kofta for the first time and loved it! It has an amazing sauce suitable for dunking as well!

This has been our favorite Indian restaurant for many years now. My wife and I dine here once a week. The food is consistent and delicious. We love the Motter Paneer, sesame non and the vegetable samosas are so good! The owner Baboo is super friendly and welcoming. This place is like going to a family me member's house for a great indian food meal. The prices are very reasonable and consistent. Give this place a chance you will be very happy.

We were hungry and just happened to come across this quaint little indian place. Well it's actually Indian food with a nepali flair since it's owned by Nepalis. I had the chicken saag with naan and it was awesome. A lot of selections and the food came quick. I was afraid it would be left overs from the lunch buffet but it was wasn't. Good, hot fresh and tasty. I'd recommend this place but it's kinda out of the way.

Disgusting! A cockroach crawled onto the table while I was eating! Some dude who worked there quickly came over to my table, captured the roach under a glass and took it outside. It was horrifying and disgusting. I wish I could say that the food was good despite a cockroach on my table, but the food was terrible and it was served luke-warm. I wish there were a way to give them zero stars. Save your self the effort and eat someplace sanitary.

I love this place, it has some of the best curry I've ever had! They have so many different kinds, and great appetizers! Also the naan bread is so soft and pillowy, goes so well with the curry! Even if I'm super full, I will have the desserts too, kheer is to die for! I wish I could go here more often, but I only get to go on special occasions because it's a little out of the way, but so worth it! It's very upscale and elegant, the name with 'Hut' in it is very misleading! Anytime I mention it to people they kindof laugh at the name, and I have to convince them it's actually a really nice place and not a 'hut', lol! A wonderful place for a date or a meeting. It's strictly all Indian food though, so if you have that 1 person in the group who only eats hamburgers and pizza, they're going to be out of luck!

I love this place! The food is really good and the owner is very nice and very personable. They have many vegetarian dishes for those who don't eat meat. The food is ALWAYS hot and steaming with great spices. They have monthly coupons which makes you come back for more. I would give Curry Hut the highest rating. Although they deliver, I like to go in to get my order to socialize with the friendly staff. They make you feel at home. In the event that you want to dine in, it is a very comfortable quite setting or even outside seating. I have very happy to have them here on the NorthShore.

I went here for their buffet one day with a few friends, some who haven't had Indian food before. I think they liked their experience. Everything was pretty good. The naan was so good, I think we went through a few baskets. It's all you can eat for $10, what a steal!

American-ized Indian not too spicey and yummy, but they leave out items when ordering carryout so check your bag! When they do not include in your order what you're paying for, they offer no compensation.

Wow! If there are better samosas in this world I'd like to know about it. I like just about everything on their menu(particularly the lamb saag) but often end up calling in a take out order for the samosas. I saw a negative review on the samosas in the past but that person got chicken samosas? Just get the lamb samosas and you'll see what I mean!

I had the sagg chicken (chicken and spinach) , and the cucumber salad. My rice and chicken was extremely cold, so I'm not sure what that was about. The small votive candle didn't do much to heat up the food. The salad was really refresh, I'm just not a big fan of iceberg lettuce, I don't personally like it. The garlic naan was the only thing that was fantastic. You expect Indian food to be explosive with flavor and it wasn't even close. I had to send it back, which is disappointing because it was to cold & never became warmer under then candle, and then they gave me the wrong food (the red chicken dish from the photo) which increased the waiting time. The person I am with already finished her food as I still wait because they are understaffed. I won't be back.

I have dined IN here twice. Once a year ago (Liked it, pleasant experience) and last Saturday night. I get to eat the leftover take out food in a friends fridge quite often. :) It was about 7pm, obviously dinner time. It was a little more than half full and we were in the mood to try some new things, so we did. We started with a basket of naan and the 4 dipping sauces. I had never really paid much attention to them, but my intake of Indian food has gone up this year, and, these sauces seem more homemade than other places. The tamarind sauce is really nice and spicy, but not caliente hot (and sweet of course) and it's not like a thin syrup at other places. I like the chutney and the green sauce. The 4th chunky marinated butter veggie dip isn't to my liking - but I am sure that is a personal preference. The naan is heavenly. Nice, fluffy, hot, fresh. Yummm. We got the Chicken Saag (two thumbs way up). Great thick spinach sauce, with big chunks of chicken. They could have been more tender, but they were fine. We also tried the Lobster curry. The sauce was great, but the lobster was overcooked. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but would have been really pleased. It was still great to eat. We got an eggplant dish (Baighan Barta) and I liked it a lot - but I am an eggplant lover and this has a lot garlic, which I do not fear. Overall, it's a thumbs up! I eat their food a decent amount and I will continue to do so. The only not-great part of dinner was that my date had to ask 3 different servers to get his diet coke.

This place is wonderful when you have that Devon Ave. feeling and don't want to shlep all the way. Who would have figured that an Indian restaurant would find success in Highwood? If I am close by, I would come here for lunch anytime. I am not a chicken fan but I will eat thier Chicken Tandoori. The buffet is always full and hot. Ordering off the menu for weekend dinner is awesome. I have too many favorites as everything on the menu is good. I have never been disapointed but I am sure if I had been, I would chalk it up to a bad day and return the next week. BIG PEOPLE: The booths may not fit but the chairs are adequate.

Curry Hut has some really good Indian / Nepali food, quite authentic and right on the North Shore. The service is excellent. The manager, Bahla I think, is obviously committed to what he does and is always thinking of the customer first. The service is prompt, polite, and the decor is mild but with a nice South Asian flair. The Chicken Tikka Masala must have addictive chemicals in it, and the different types of naan are just great. It is on the moderate to high side price-wise but portions are decently sized and you get rice with most dishes. The lunch buffet may scare some people but I find it to be quite delicious and seemingly clean. It's not usually that busy. It's just what you need when you want to load up a giant plate, a melange of rice, meat and a bunch of saffron colored oily sauce to cover it all. The samosas are excellent. You can get better Indian food on Devon Ave, but I don't know of better service. The dining room always seems to have a calm, quiet air that really makes eating here enjoyable. The excitement in me peaks when I spot the tall waiter gliding through the aether with mounds of steaming plates, heading right for my table.

Great for their buffet. Most of the time, I would wonder off to here on my way to Chicago just to have this places buffet.

Overall it was really yummy. Food was hot, fresh veggies, clean and friendly. Great jalapeño spicy sauce and hot fresh naan bread were a treat. They are closed in Mondays. Lunch other days is 11:30am-2:30pm. It's definitely the most tranquil atmosphere of any buffet spot. Great for a quiet meet-up discussion meal. While I miss the $9.95 price of years ago, I was pleased that with tax my tab was $11.83 total. Enjoy!

solid food all the way around 1. vindaloos are spicy as they should be 2. naans are delicious 3. services was very attentive overall a great experience, good value, and i would highly recommend. Not alot of choices in the area, so its like being the smart guy in the dumb class.

Thank you for blessing the north shore with decent Indian food. especially liked the tikka marsala lamb with basmati rice (very generous portion) and naan. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the momo appetizer, it looks like the Chinese xiao long bao but tasted much drier. I took the leftover momo home, added a bit more water and microwaved it and it tasted better.

Curry Hut is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm back home from school; between the Indian and Nepalese options, it's certainly the best Indian restaurant on the North Shore and more than comparable with places on Devon. As has been said by reviewers before me, the lunch buffet has a great variety of selections starting with soup and several salads and appetizers like samosas and pakora. If you're having dinner, get an order of momo to start-- Nepalese steamed dumplings filled with minced chicken with a mustard dipping sauce. Moving to the entrees, Curry Hut generally offers three to four on their buffet, far more than most Indian joints even at higher price points, a heaping portion of naan (that will get refilled through your dining period) and a sizzling platter of tandoori chicken. Finally, save room for dessert-- they often offer gulab jamin, halwa, and my favorite, kheer, a rice pudding that tastes sweet from condensed milk and almonds. While earlier reviewers have complained about the service, I've had nothing but good experiences. Coming here about once every other week in high school, the owner still recognizes me when I show up to get carry-out and, if my food isn't ready yet, gives me a small tea tasting while engaging me in interesting conversation at the bar. The location is small but clean and tastefully decorated. Curry Hut is a great way to explore Indian and Nepalese food that I cannot more highly recommend.

Chicken samosas were great - although smaller than most places we've had them at. The papadum were stale and soft. Naan was thick and chewy, - more like pita bread than naan. Tandoori chicken was dry. All in all not a great meal!

The Pros: I love coming here as I love Indian foods. Food is great. It's expensive so Lunch Buffet is a better option for $9.95 and you wont have to worry about slow service since you are serving yourself. The Cons: 4 star instead of 5. The service is always very slow. Came here Monday afternoon with hubby and 2 very young kids. How could Mondays be so slow??? The place wasn't that full. We were hoping to eat as fast before the kids gets bored. Guess what, it took more than an hour for our foods to arrive and nobody was explaining what was going on. I made 1 bite and decided to wrap the foods home as the kids were starting to get grumpy. The waiters are very busy but I think the problem is from the kitchen. Not sure if they need more cooks but 1 hour is way too long to wait for only 2 orders in the menu. We only ordered Chicken Korma and Lamb Tikka. I cant imagine if we were a group of 5 or more ordering 5 different stuff in their menu. Overall, if you are not really hungry and not in any hurry, the food is tasty and wont be disappointed. Definitely a favorite Indian food restaurant. We will just leave the kids home next time!
