So it's Chinese NY and typically I would seek out a Chinese restaurant to celebrate and eat some long noodles for the good of life... But here we are I stumbled upon Himalayan Hub and as it's rather cold in the foggy city I wasn't in the mood to search for alternatives and I'm so happy I didn't!!! This was an amazing experience. I'm sure you all had your experiences where you go for Indian and or Nepalese food and after you leave you feel stuffed and a bit heavy. I was surprised that Himalayan Hub manages to bring out dishes which are light, crisp, rich and bold in flavor at the same time. The interior is rather nicely done, I do think they could dim the lights a bit to make it feel a bit warmer or add a touch of warmer paint but other than that it works and it is inviting. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive and the food rolled out fresh and hot from the kitchen. The chicken tandoori was so outstanding... I will go back in a heart beat.

I miss Nepal so much, One day, my friend and I were passing by this place, and the exterior immediately reminded me of Kathmandu. I knew I had to bring him here to try some Nepali food - and I’m so glad I did. I loved the clean, tidy interior and the warm, thoughtful decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and cheerful the server’s smile was unforgettable. We ordered the chicken momo and Thali (I absolutely love Dal bhat!), along with the fish curry. The momo arrived first, and with just one bite, I felt like I was back in Nepal. I’ve missed that flavor so much. The thali and fish curry didn’t disappoint either! everything was incredibly delicious! You can really tell the Chef cooks with heart, and I also appreciated the beautiful plating. Thank you for giving me a taste of Nepal again and for giving my friend such a wonderful first experience with Nepali cuisine.

As someone what’s sucker for good food and a pleasant atmosphere, I can confidently say that this place has it all. I ordered chicken biryani, jhol momo, milk tea, and chole bhature. I requested for my meal to be spicier to suit my taste, and everything was a perfect 10/10.I highly recommend it! Here are some pictures from my visit ever since they opened.

Google
Absolutely delicious food. Every dish was rich in flavor, clearly prepared with care, and packed with that distinct home-cooked soul you don’t find often. The garlic naan and chicken tikka masala were standouts — fresh, fragrant, and perfectly spiced. But what truly makes this place special is the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. It felt like being hosted by friends. If you’re looking for a flavorful, and heartfelt spot in the city — this is it. Himalayan Pub doesn’t just serve great food, it serves great experiences.

Google
Authentic Himalayan Nepalese experience, Reminded me of back home. Decor and ambiance on point. If you’re Nepali, you KNOW EXACTLY what you want to order before you even look at the menu. They have that exact item and they’re big, juicy and plentiful to satiate the appetite.

Google
Indo-Chinese at its finest with a touch of Nepalese delicacy and warm hospitality. Finally a budget friendly restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy the modern Nepalese cuisine without harming their wallet! MOMO and chowmeins are MUST. Try it once, try it twice-make it your hub, you won’t regret! Cheers to the new gem in Mission neighborhood.

This is probably one of the best south Asian restaurants in SF...super low-key, but service and food were amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Google
We had the Himalayan noodles and tandoori chicken and both were out of this world! We were the only people in the restaurant on a Wednesday night and this place definitely deserves more clientele. So good!

Yelp
Fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Everything we tried was great including butter chicken, fores with Tikka sauce and aloo ghobi. Pricing is very reasonable given the quality of the food. Service was quick and efficient and very friendly. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Delicious & affordable I ordered the thakali lamb plate and it was a great deal for essentially a combo plate, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her lamb tikka masala. We also ordered the tikka fries and they were SO GOOD. I am very picky about fries but these were perfect. I also loved the masala sauce they came with. Service was great as well- very attentive and friendly and helpful. So excited to have this place so close! Definitely a new favorite for sure.

Yelp
Finally got to try this newly opened restaurant. The service is so kind and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Ambiance is casual and the decor is clean and eclectic. There are different countries' flags everywhere and colorful hats which make it fun and vibrant inside. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try out: cheese naan, palak paneer, lamb biryani, and chicken momos. Everything was good, but I think I was expecting the dishes to be a bit more flavorful since I'm more used to Indian food. The naan was a little too thick and not as salted or crisped up as I'm used to, and the curries weren't very spiced. I usually like my food to punch me in the face though haha, so others might really enjoy this level. Still, it was a really filling meal and a great try! I definitely recommend trying this spot out and supporting this new business!

Yelp
Had a mix of the momos, the chicken tikka masala, and the chicken biryani. Very reasonably priced, strong flavors, and great portions. Service was excellent, cute spot. Lots of competition in the area and this place stands out!

Yelp
This is best Nepalese food I have had in a long time. We tried the steamed chicken momos, lamb choila with white rice, aloo gobi, and garlic naan. The lamb tasted extremely fresh and was not gamey at all. It was spiced just right. The momos were steamed to perfection and the aloo gobi was extremely flavorful and fresh. The staff were extremely attentive and checked in with us regularly throughout the meal. The interior was extremely well kept and welcoming. I am definitely making Himalayan Hub my go to when I crave traditional Newari flavors.

Yelp
Saw the new sign driving by. Turned around and went in for a quick lunch. Ordered chicken tikka masala with rice and chai. Everything was great. Portions, atmosphere, service, menu depth and speed. Also, everything was served steaming hot which is not always the case. So if you like hot (temp) food, you'll be stoked!

Yelp
This new spot is a huge win for all of us in this city (and anyone visiting!) We ordered three things and everything came out quick with very friendly service. Cheese Naan: Oh my god I dream about this cheese naan. So cheesy and thick; it was the perfect bready appetizer for any cheese-lover. Veggie Chow Mein: Call me crazy but I love ordering Chow Mein at Indian restaurants. This one comes with thin noodles and the perfect amount of veg for a great side dish. Tikka Wings: Yum yum yum. The tikka sauce was nutty and mild and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Next time, I'd love to try their gobi manchurian and a curry! If you're considering giving this place a try, please let my review or their reasonable pricing persuade you!

Yelp
Quite an experience! The food was delicious- especially the momos! The friendly staff and decor made me want to visit Nepal:)

Yelp
The staff are friendly and the food is good quality and tasty. Some minor tips for this restaurant to gain more customers: (1) consider dimming the lights as it is quite brite which impacts the ambiance (2) the kitchen does not have a wall/door to separate it from the dining area, so the kitchen noise and smoke from wok frying permeates the dining area (3) the price is very fair, but the servings are a bit on the smaller size (2 people ordered 2 main dishes, naan and rice and we were not full). Probably better for the restaurant to increase the serving size by 20-25% and add $1-2 to the price of each dish (they would then be comparable to Nepa, which is packed w customers).

Yelp
Food was very good. Highly recommend the momos. 8 huge overstuffed dumplings for $13. Service was so friendly and professional. Restaurant was lovely and clean.

Yelp
Went in because it is close to Roxie theater. I am a fan now. Great tasting chicken momos and chai. Great service too. Neat place inside.
