"Samosa chaat, chili chicken, chow chow soup, and of course plenty of momos all can be found on the menu at downtown Cary’s Himalayan Nepali Cuisine. There is a large menu of vegetarian options like bhindi masala, malai kofta, aloo gobi, and more, making it a great spot for a meat-free iftar." - Matt Lardie

Pretty good food — will definitely be coming here again. I enjoy the complimentary tea that they give you. It has a gingery lemon taste to it. Also the server we had was very nice .

All the dishes were excellent! We tried the Steamed Veg Momos, Fried Veg Momos, Malai Kofta, and Garlic Naan — everything was delicious. The unlimited ginger tea was a comforting bonus. Great food and a lovely experience!

Google
I love this place! It reminds me of my visit to Nepal. The ginger tea that they offer free when you sit down is delicious and authentic. The staff is friendly and attentive. That alone is worth a good review. The food is great and I love the flavors. The pictures on the wall and the background music all make this place a visit to another part of the world without leaving town!

Google
Great experience. The food was more than enough for our hungry crew. Excellent variety and options. And the complimentary honey ginger lemon tea is amazing!! Excellent food. Excellent service.

Google
If you're searching for incredible Nepali/Indian food, especially a phenomenal masala sauce, look no further! This place has captured the authentic taste I experienced while in India. The sweet and creamy masala is simply the best. Everything else I've ordered – tandoori chicken, biryani, paneer tikka, and more – has been equally delicious. This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in the area! I've been to like, six other places, and this one blows them all away. Number one, no question!

Google
First time here, and I'm impressed with the quality of food and taste. Waiters are super friendly always there. Give it a shot, and you will definitely enjoy the food.

Google
Nice place for having delicious and freshly made food. Had lunch after abhectic dmv day, which made me very relaxing. Good place must visit. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming.

Google
I think this might be my favorite restaurant in the triangle. The flavors are always amazing, the food comes out fast, and there is always delicious tea upon sitting down. What else can I say? If I could eat here every day I would. The chili fried cauliflower, chili fried momos, and saag paneer are my favorite.

Yelp
***FOOD: everything was amazingly yummy. MOMOS - delicious and a must have NAAN - light fluffy and flavourful MANGO LASSI - tasty full of mango flavor very good TIKKA MASAL - so so good ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$ very reasonable ***DÉCOR: small place inside, basic. I guess the food is the main here. ***SERVICE: ok. The server didn't really understand or speak English very well. Have to wait for food so be prepared. Lots of parking in this strip mall location ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
I decided to take myself on a date this morning with an early lunch while I wait for the shop next door to open up at 12pm. Visited an oldie but goodie! This Himalayan Nepali Cuisine is spectacular! Upon entering you're greeted by the aromatics of various spices, and the sounds of Tibetan chants as the music plays over head. It never disappoints, and always nourishes my soul with immediate visceral reaction that transports me to a region in the world I've always gravitated towards! Complimentary: a delicious warm ginger tea (+free refills), water, with roti and pickled onions is served while you acclimate to the surroundings. A spectacular cultural experience for your body, mind, and soul for sure! Great customer service, and affordable prices makes this place a gem for locals! The lentil soup is DIVINE, and the spicy fried momo is a great pairing for it!! Practicing mindfulness while eating these delicacies adds an add't hug to my brain and nervous system!

Yelp
Met up with some friends on a quiet Wednesday night. Heard good things about this place and wasn't disappointed. Veggie and Chicken Momos to start, Goat Curry and Aloo Govi to finish. All of them were excellent and the waiter was spot-on with the spiciness recommendations. (3 out of 7, for some heat but not overwhelming) Would definitely go back and try other dishes. Ambience is nothing fancy, but you go for the food!

Jesse M.

Yelp
The best Indian food I've had. The service was overwhelming great. The complimentary tea is amazing. I can't recommend it enough.

Briana D.

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday night, arrived by 6pm and added our name to the wait list. We sat down at around 7:15. We got Himalayan tea and the mango lassis to start which were both very good. We also got an appetizer, the govi Manchurian which was also great! Service was very friendly but you can tell they were overwhelmed. We didn't get our food until 8:30 so it was a very long wait. The food was good but we will won't be back for dinner service. We may try earlier times to see if we fare better. Also, beware of the spice levels, they have 1-7 and level 2 and 3 are pretty spicy

Nichole P.

Yelp
We LOVE, love the food, atmosphere... all of it. 10/10 We do recommend. Relaxing environment, too

Sarah S.

Yelp
This place is ok, I'm saying this because I'm not a huge fan of curry but thought I'd give it a try. I also arrived 30 minutes or so before they closed. I got the chicken Tikka masala and it was pretty good I ordered level 2 spiciness. You can order how spicy you want your dish 7 being the hottest. I also ordered garlic naan bread which was good when you dip it in the sauce especially. This place is busy on the weekends and very small. Service is not the quickest. They give complimentary tea when you come in and sit down. It's like a ginger and lemon tea. I can say one thing curry is not for everyone. If you don't like it don't come here. A lot of tables were ordering some noodles. Might try that if I come by this way again. This place is also located in a strip with a lot of other ethnic foods and stores. It's nice to see the other types of ethnic foods offered. Come early on the weekend if you come this way.

Yelp
Came here a few months back and absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is clean and plenty of seating inside, with a very casual feel to it. Had no idea Nepalese food was so good and flavorful. They really cater to different eating preferences such as many seafood, chicken, lamb, vegetarian and vegan options, their menu certainly reflects that. For apps we picked up the 6 Vegetable Pakora-fried but not oily at all, but delicious! Nepali Style chili potato-good flavor and spice. For main courses, the Nepali Style Chana Masala and Nepali Tarkari, both very good flavor and spice-delicious! Many of their main courses come with Basmati rice which is cooked very well and fluffy! We are big on getting good customer service wherever we go and the service has been excellent both times we've been here. We are certainly no experts but we know good flavorful food when we taste it and we highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Nepalese food or is trying it for the first time, your taste buds will Thank you for it!!!

Kayla B.

Yelp
10/10 everytime! Fresh and wonderful The chicken timki masala is off the hook. We love the fried momo in chili sauce! They give you this incredible ginger tea. It's just delightful. The restaurant is orderly and clean. The service is great. They are very nice and respectful.

Blake M.

Yelp
Easily the best Indian (or Indian adjacent) food in the triangle. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly, with allergens clearly labeled on all menu items. The ginger lemon tea is perfect and especially crave-able on chilly days. They offer a spice level of 1-7 with 3 being a perfect medium for me. I particularly love the chili fried momos, Chana masala, and garlic naan. A friend who I eat here with often is partial to the saag paneer. The thali is also a great value at lunch time if you want to sample a little bit of everything. My only gripe is that it's a 25ish minute drive from my house. How about a second location in eastern wake?! Here's to hoping!

John S.

Yelp
We randomly decided to visit our old spot after seeing consistently good reviews recently, and we're glad we did. The govi manchurian had a light, crisp batter and the sauce was perfectly sweet and tangy. The chili fried momo was amazing, and is one of our new favorite dishes. The Nepali chicken curry was homey and inviting, with a lovely gingery tomato sauce. The lamb korma, peshwari naan, and gulab jamun were all nice as well. The only dish we would skip next time was the rice pudding, which was a bit bland, but otherwise we really enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back.

Amanda A.

Yelp
Always one of the best around. Nice portion sizes, staff is always super friendly and the food is delicious every single time..

Chris C.

Yelp
Wow! I loved this restaurant. The service was fantastic. They regularly came by our table and refilled our drinks; we never had to ask. The food was so rich and tasty. I loved the deep flavors. It is an intimate environment and very comfortable. They keep the room quite cold, so being a hoodie or sweater to keep warm. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Himalayan Range Nepali Restaurant INTRO: Small Indian restaurant located in Cary. Aloo Gobi ($9.99)- Flavor was good but a tad on the spicier side and came with rice. The cauliflower and potatoes were cooked thoroughly and were tender. Able to feed two people. Naan ($3.50)- Complimented nicely with the Aloo Gobi and was an alternate option to just the rice. Parking/ Location- Located in a small shopping center off of Maynard Road with plenty of parking in the middle. Went at a busier time and it was not a hassle to get into or to find parking. Ambience and Service- Small restaurant with simple look. Service was good and didn't have to wait long for food to arrive.

Maryellen S.

Yelp
I'm going to call this one of the best kept secrets in Cary. Great tandoori chicken, fast service, wonderful family vibe. Off the beaten path, worth seeking out.

Tim C.

Yelp
We got some take out with friends, and we ordered the following: Vegetable Samosas - good flavor, no real complaints about them. Lamb Mango Curry - nice big chunks of lamb, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. Saag Paneer - this was probably my favorite dish, because it's less spinach-y and more creamy than most saag paneers. It had great flavor too. Chicken Tandoori - the chicken was unfortunately dry and I wasn't too impressed by it. Chicken Kadai - I liked the spice level of the rice, and the chicken was tender, moist, and well marinated. Garlic Naan - not much flavor, and a bit dry and flaky for my liking. It came with white basmati rice. For the price, the value and amount of food we got was good. I am open to returning to try different dishes, but probably won't be getting the Chicken Tandoori again. Also, we placed the order over the phone, and then went to pick up our order about 20 minutes later, only to have to wait at the restaurant another 20 minutes for our food. I understand it was a bigger order, but it seems this is consistent with other reviews as well - the service is on the slower side so if you are looking for something quicker, this may not be the best option.

Brittany B.

Yelp
I tried out this restaurant and was VERY impressed with the portion sizes and cost. We got several appetizers at our table as well as entrees and our bill was very reasonable. I really enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian appetizer and the dumplings. We also got the naan and the portions were, again, generous. We got 2 orders for 3 people and had several extra slices. We got the butter chicken and the chicken tikka Marsala. Unfortunately, neither entree had a ton of flavor/spices which was surprising. The portion sizes were generous but flavoring was a little bland. My 4 starts is for the cost/portion and cleanliness but the lack of flavor on entrees kept it from being a 5 star experience. I'd definitely be open to returning and trying additional entrees and seeing if the flavor profiles improve!

Dennis S.

Yelp
Consistently incredible food -- always friendly service. We go every other week at least.

Jillian S.

Yelp
High quality, nutritious, and flavorful food. Stopped here on the weekday evening for dinner. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy and our order was ready and accurate upon arrival. We ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed each of the items ordered. Plus they have excellent customer service, complimentary ginger tea, and reasonable prices. We had a great experience and recommend this establishment to others!

Beth W.

Yelp
Food Adventure!! HimalaYAYan!!! So flavorful and I didn't have to travel to Nepal. Papad (crispy lentil bread) with onion chutney. (comes free) Chicken 65 (chicken fried with batter and sauteed with house special spice). Onion Bhaji (deep fried onion covered with flour and spices). Dipping sauces are mint chutney and tamarind. Himalayan Chai.

Sarah G.

Yelp
I came here with a friend recently, and we had absolutely incredible food! I cannot recommend the lamb curry enough, and the paneer tikka was so lovely and creamy. I also really liked the tea that they serve at the beginning of the meal. The menu lists allergens, which I really appreciate. Great service as well! Plenty of parking, and it seems like it's easy to get food to go.

Eric G.

Yelp
There's nothing negative that I can say about Himalayan Nepali Cuisine. Yes, if you do dine it, it can take a while but they SPECIFICALLY SPECIFY that they cook everything from scratch every time. And it's clear that they do care about their food, which is why it's one of the best "Indian" "Nepali" places you could try. Plus the prices are honestly unbeatable compared to other restaurants in the area. I'd recommend takeout, just so you don't have to wait that long, but even if you do dine in, the wait is well worth it!

Eddie D.

Yelp
We were regulars. This was my wife's favorite restaurant in the triangle. The owner lost our business.

Maria W.

Yelp
We absolutely fell in love with the food quality and flavor of this place! Also the many choices they have if you are vegan. I ordered the Aloo Gobi. The Aloo Gobi and rice comes in separate dishes but I like combining mine as reflected in the pick. We also ordered the vegetable samosas. The ambience reflects the uniqueness of the Nepal county. The service is good. Since they don't pre-prep their food and cook to order, there is a longer wait to get your meal. So if you are Dinning in, this isn't the place to be in a hurry and so worth the wait. However, if you are doing take out, it is handled in a much timely manner if you don't like to wait!

Emily F.

Yelp
Super solid spot for Indian food! Called in a takeout order (they are currently takeout only) and they said it would be 30-35 minutes although when we arrived after about 20 minutes they already had our food ready for us! They also gave us complimentary ginger tea, which I really enjoyed despite not liking ginger typically. We got the govi manchurian, lamb vindaloo, saag paneer, and onion kulcha. They let you choose spice levels from 1-7 for each dish and we tried a couple different levels with 6 being the spiciest we tried. We love spice, and it was delicious and plenty spicy without being too painful to enjoy. We loved everything that we ordered and it all had great flavor! There are 2 stone round tables with benches right outside you can eat at (restaurant will provide plastic utensils/paper plates). It is in a parking lot so not a great ambiance/environment but the food makes up for it. It was piping hot when we got it so we wanted to dig in right away.

Billy Y.

Yelp
One word: simply outstanding amazingly perfecto supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Yes, it was that good. End to end - everything from the food, the price, to the customer service left us completely in awe. The indoor decor and ambience had a nice laid back feel to it that just made it feel like dining at home. This place is exceptional and is now my favorite and go-to for Indian/Nepali cuisine even if it's on the other side of town for me. We came right when they opened at 5pm on a Friday. They quickly seated us and poured us glasses of water. To my surprise they started us off with complimentary papad (which are like really thin Indian deep fried dough and had the texture of a chip) along with a side of pickled onions. They also poured us a complimentary cup of hot ginger lemon tea. Complimentary yummy-in-my-tummy tea people! You don't see many if at all any places that do this. The tea was nice, sweet, and toasty warm to drink. It paired so well with the food we ordered. And that transitions me over to the food. All of the prices of the food were so affordable in comparison to the other Indian restaurants I've frequented. As usual my habitual over-ordering took over. For the two of us we got: 6 piece veggie pakora - $4.99 Gobi Manchurian - $7.99 Papdi chaat - $5.99 Chili chicken - $7.99 Large bowl of veggie chow chow soup - $6.49 6 piece chili fried chicken momo (dumplings) - $8.99 Chicken vindaloo - $11.99 Every single dish was on point and utterly divine. They were all seasoned to perfection and had the perfect amount of spice/heat to them. It's mentioned that everything is made to order and you can certainly taste that as the dishes tasted so fresh. The chicken in all the dishes were so juicy and succulent. The chow chow soup contained ramen noodles coupled with the right amount of heat just warmed up my soul. The chili momos were fantastic as well. Next time I'll have to try the steamed version of it as I want to savor the meat stuffing inside without the chili sauce overpowering it. The pakora was fried to golden perfection and super crispy. My favorite items were the Gobi Manchurian and the chili chicken - both were also fried to crispy perfection and then layered on with the perfect amount of godly orgasmic-inducing sauce. Needless to say we almost demolished everything except for a minuscule amount of leftovers that we decided to pack home. Now onto the customer service - simply impeccable. From start to finish different severs repeatedly came to check up on us. They came up to repeatedly fill up our water cups and pour us more ginger lemon tea. They tirelessly came over several times to ask if we were doing okay, if the food tasted good, and if the spice level was okay. Before we could even ask for a to-go box they knew that we needed one and brought one out automatically! If that isn't top tier customer service then I don't know what is. Other restaurants need to take note because they do it right here. We certainly tipped them well for going above and beyond. Overall, highly highly recommended - don't think, come here in a heartbeat! You won't be disappointed. Quality food, quality service, and super affordable pricing especially in today's economy make this place my number one for Indian/Nepali cuisine going forward.

Emily S.

Yelp
Long overdue review. My quality of life has dramatically improved since discovering Himalayan Napali Cuisine two years ago. This is the best tasting comfort Nepali Cuisine I've ever had and our family visits about once a week now as a family; our waiter knows our regular dishes now :). Also vegan friendly!

Ana B.

Yelp
What an amazing place! I am addicted to their tea, make sure you get it. The price per food quantity is wonderful. Staff is friendly and attentive. The place is small, so make sure to get their early and you won't be disappointed.

Sri L.

Yelp
Had lunch on a weekend. The initial complimentary Ginger-lemon tea was a bomb, couldn't stop with just one cup and they keep refilling too, which is amazing. They give papad as complimentary as well. We have ordered fried chicken momos for appetizer and Nepali boneless chicken curry with garlic naan as Entrée. Momos are decent, they are steamed ones which are deep fried and sautéed in sauce and with some veggies. Nepali chicken curry was so-so, could feel that smell of that chicken while eating -- which usually means it has not been marinated well or either the raw chicken has been directly sautéed in the gravy sauce. It probably could be the Nepali style of cooking but did not have pleasant experience while eating it. Garlic naan was very good, no complaints about it. Its crispy thin and well fried with very good garlic flavors. Must try.

Gracie C.

Yelp
Superb. Absolutely delicious. Everything we got was amazing. Would come again. Pretty place and service was kind and helpful.

Mr W.

Yelp
This is hand down the best Indian/Nepali food in the triangle. I have made it a mission through the years to try ever place in the area, and the country really. They warn you it will take a bit to make and it's worth it. This clearly isn't sitting in some vat in the back. There are real ingredientsin the food. We get a lot of different things but the tikka massala and daals are the bomb. be sure to take them up on the complimentary tea. You've never had anything like it. This is a family run joint and the people are so friendly. My wife is gluten intolerant and this place has not once caused a problem. Almost everything is gluten free. We feel safe getting food here every time, which is rare. The fryer is not dedicated and the nan obviously isn't GF.

Steph N.

Yelp
Only had a few minutes here but the appetizers and tea were fantastic! And the service was exceptional. Will definitely come back to explore the entire menu

Patricia S.

Yelp
Not only was the food excellent, but the service was attentive, polite, and helpful. We were in the area, and stopped here without knowing anything about the restaurant. We got really lucky. Highly recommended. Pro tip, they offered us a spiciness level of 1 to 7. We chose 2, and that was plenty spicy, even though we are not wimpy and enjoy a little heat.

India K.

Yelp
Our favorite in the area! Love the tea they give you, the chanting music at just the right volume, and the nice staff. We recommend the pakora, butter chicken, saag paneer and the naan. Honestly everything is good.

Anwesh D.

Yelp
Was in Raleigh for a weekend and discovered this outstanding restaurant based on friend's recommendation We ordered takeout. Overall, they give great portions for a fantastic price. Must try for everyone in the Raleigh area. Chicken Momos: The dipping sauce makes the already soft and flavorful momos delightful Gobi Manchurian: Absolute must-get in my opinion; delightfully spicy with lots of flavor Paneer Tikka Masala: very solid dish with great portion Butter Chicken: very well-done Boneless Lamb Curry: suprisingly good with great cuts of meat along with a spicy curry; highly recommend!!

J V.

Yelp
The food is always great, the excellent service, and the cozy atmosphere. The restaurant opened at 5:00 PM and we were seated and still waited an hour before our meal was served.

Felice B.

Yelp
I genuinely don't understand all the high ratings. Yes, the complimentary ginger lemon tea is lovely (although too sweet by half) and the papadams are tasty (because they always are) but that's about it. Chili fried momos - Okay, but that's about it. Some flavor from the tomato sauce but not much else, including heat. Inoffensive. Lamb Korma - The best of the lot but that's not saying much. Mango Lamb - Waaaay too sweet. I obviously don't object to fruit with meat but the amount of added sugar was excessive and unnecessary. Chicken Vindaloo - Ordered as a 5 out of 7 spice-wise, it was more like a 1 or 2 out of 7. Vindaloo should burn your socks off. This dish was unrecognizable as vindaloo. No heat, no vinegar flavor, too much cinnamon, and to add insult to injury, the chicken appeared to be cut up leftover tandoori chicken (complete with red dyed outside) just tossed with the sauce. Garlic Naan - Meh. The food was fresher than your average AYCE Indian buffet but it was certainly no better tasting. Two stars because the prices were reasonable and the service was good.

Ashira M.

Yelp
Excellent! I was so happy to find this place by chance just driving around in this unknown-to-me town -- and I'm so glad I stopped and went inside! I ordered the Nepali Style Chili Potatoes, Veggie Chow Chow Soup, and Peshawari Naan -- and received all of the above plus lovely chai, mmm! The ambience was really nice. I enjoyed my time as well as my food here, and additionally the service was very welcoming. It was a perfect little stop for me. Chill vibes, you might say ... no rushing, no hurrying, just very restful.

Thomas S.

Yelp
The menu hypes up the slow cooking times because everything is made fresh, except apparently for the appetizer dumplings the tops of them were stale/hard my wife nearly broke a tooth! The main dishes were fragrant and delicious, the rice was a bit over cooked. Sadly the spice level despite requesting the extreme hottest, was barely a mild level. The staff could be a bit more friendly? Maybe a cultural thing, they seemed exhausted and brought down the vibe of the place. The food is good and priced well, if you can deal with long wait for dishes to cook.

thomas w.

Yelp
Very good and relaxing place to enjoy a meal. Friendly staff and delicious food! Go support them.

Shannon W.

Yelp
The food is delicious and affordable here. With entrees ranging around low $10s and appetizers around $7 but with huge portions, we ended up getting a whole feast of items for $40 for 2 people! We got the chili chicken, chicken tikka masala, samosa chaat, nepali chili potato and some garlic/plain naan. The chicken tikka masala is hard to beat at $10 for its balance of creaminess and tomato-ness, just enough chicken and not too soupy texture. Would definitely say this is one of our favorite places when it comes to that dish. I also love the creativity of the samosa chaat- basically reminds me of nachos because they are samosas topped with yogurt, tomatoes and rice. It is an app but can be eaten as a standalone dish (and I can't usually find it in other places!). The naan is a bit thinner than most; more crispy than fluffy. Medium spice across all dishes is pretty spicy so we settled for mild. Food takes around 30-40 minutes so be sure to time it correctly, but once the pandemic is over dining in is worth the wait- the goat curry is piping hot as it's made in house and is a family favorite. Also, they give you a complimentary ginger tea that I like drinking when chilled!

Susan K.

Yelp
What a great place! Lots to choose from on the extensive menu, and everything that arrived at our table was really good. They make the dishes to order, so this is not fast food -- it's *good* food. Plus the people working there are very nice.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Hidden gem! Food was delicious and service was great! Upon being seated, we were served this amazing ginger tea which eased the stomach, the anxiety and cleansed the palate. Spicy level ranges from 1 to 7. We got 5 and it was perfect for us. Will be back for more!

John B.

Yelp
Even though they are only running as a takeout operation right now, this place clearly is not aiming for "okay" service. I arrived slightly before my allotted pickup time to find my food piping hot and ready, and was offered a small ginger tea-which I did not order but which turned out to be complimentary-for the road. When I dug in, I found a bag of papdums (lentil-based crackers with a strong cumin flavor) again on the house. The stuff I did order came out well. The dumplings were filled with a curry cabbage type mix and had tons of sauces. The samosa chaat I ordered had so much chaat it was tough to find the samosa (a very filling dish) and tons of sweet and savory flavors, with pickled onions on top for a hint of color. My black daal, a dish that in typical Indian cuisine would be prepared with a heavy dose of butter, here came out vegan but nonetheless flavorful. The bread basket I used to dip it up had some satisfying entries. The noodle soup wasn't quite that impressive cold, but once I picked off the couple of pieces of broccoli it was still tasty. All told I got a ton of interesting cuisine, a little lagniappe or two, and every reason to come back again if I were in the area.

Michael M.

Yelp
Great fresh Indian food! Portions are good, prices are good, customer service good, all around great place! I had the chicken vindaloo spicy, it definitely had kick to it. The ginger Lemon tea was awesome, couldn't get enough! Will be going back for sure!

Valory B.

Yelp
Tonight we had take out dinner from here. We ordered samosa chaat, tandoori mixed grill, butter chicken, aloo Gobi, raita, papads, mango chutney and plain naan. The samosa chaat was huge and fresh. Tandoori mixed grill had so much chicken and a great flavour. Butter chicken was creamy and really good flavours The mango chutney was so good, raita was perfect consistency with fresh herbs. All three of us really enjoyed our entire meal. This is our new go to curry house.

Steph G.

Yelp
Such a lovely gem in this city! The food is so good- I have never loved a placed so much that I ordered something different every time bc I knew I would like it. The staples are def the potatoes and the momos. This place has something for everyone.

Pranav P.

Yelp
Nothing tasted quite right. None of the Indo-Chinese items tasted authentic, all were very tomatoey. Nepali Chicken curry had 0 flavor even after we told them to make it spicy. Naan was unsalted. Surprising that this is one of the best South Asian restaurants in the area.

David B.

Yelp
This is easily one of my top 3 Indian restaurants in the triangle. Consistently delicious and the staff works hard. It's a small operation but you can tell they care about what they're doing. I'm boring in that I almost always get chicken tikka masala. It's just what I love. Theirs is delicious. I have branched out a bit and almost always get the papdi chaat. It has amazing flavor and can fill you up easily. But I like to split my meal in half and this works to have something extra on the side. Spice levels: I recommend going with a medium if you like spicy. Then scale up from there. Usually a medium is perfect for me. But with the chaat, it can be really hot on a medium. But be warned: their hot is wicked hot to a southern American boy. With your meal you receive papadum and a sweet hot tea. The tea helps cut spice. Take out can take a long time to prepare so plan accordingly and call them at least 45 minutes in advance on weekends.

Yelp
Ordered the bread basket, chicken vindaloo, coconut curry chicken, and biryani (not pictured) Everything was good. My wife doesn't like things very spicy and I do, but we always ask for mild. The server understood our spice needs and it came out perfectly! The chicken was extremely tender as well.
