Great, but definitely room for growth. This is a new establishment with great staff. They're friendly and hard-working and I have no doubts this review could be a 5 in the future. I came there twice in 1 day because the vibe earlier seemed so chill. Unfortunately the music/ live band was so loud that I had to leave. My ears were ringing on the walk back home. I thought maybe it was just me, but the employees wearing ear plugs and two other random guests requesting them made me realize this was pretty loud. The wings (honey siracha) were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the chicken wrap, tots and meatballs were all 'off'. The flavor the meatballs were great, but they seemed to melt in your mouth with a weird texture that came off as over-processed. These are all things that can be addressed and fixed and I recommend at least checking this place out for the aesthetic.

The Patio Group is revamping its now-shuttered Harvest by the Patio restaurant in East Village. It will reopen in February as a rock ’n’ roll surf-style fast-casual restaurant/bar. It will serve a sustainably sourced menu and Himmel Brew beer. Both the restaurant and beer are dedicated to owner Gina Champion-Cain’s late friend Joey Himmelberg, who died in 2016

This was a pretty tasty chicken sandwich. I opted for bacon to really enjoy it. The bacon was a bit overcooked but tasty nonetheless.

On my 2nd visit I had a great time, the bonus being there was an awesome live singing duo from Seattle doing some old favorites and their own compositions. This time I had "The Olympia Bowl" with spinach lettuce, chickpeas, feta cheese-I even liked it better than the Maverick bowl which was also great. I also had their pepperoni, sausage flatbread pizza which was one of the best I've had all year. Service by GM Josh and server Brenda was outstanding and 100% on point. The ambience is perfect for drinks, dinner and the live music sitting at the nostalgic bar or the plush, retro couches. Himmelberg's is shaping up to be one of the best San Diego destinations for an evening out and they're still brand new.

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday, I was warmly greeted by a hostess and then headed upstairs where the restaurant and bar is located. My bartender and waitress were all very friendly and accommodating. I had a pullled pork sandwich with tater tots, it was tasty. It’s in a convenient location. Parking isn’t that tough unless there is a baseball game going on. Check this place out.

Meh. While the menu was fairly small, the food we ordered was good. The beer selection is heavy on IPAs, but they do offer hard alcohol. The upstairs main dining area is a bit cramped, so if you are eating when the band shows up, you'll have a hard time conversing. The waitress and other staff were very friendly and our food came out promptly.

This is a chic little place down by Petco. We had tje nachos and the macaroni and cheese. The nachos had a sweet meat and were very good. There was lots of cheese, meat, and toppings. It was plenty to share with 2 people, 3 if you're not hungry. The macaroni was also very tasty and had plenty of cheese and flavor. They had an ample selection of craft beers and Bud and Pacifico for those not wanting craft beer. Also available is signature drinks and wine. The searing has spaces that overlook the street below. We found the oricing to be very affordable for the area with 5.00 beers and 9.00 to 16.00 plates as of 6/08/2019. As always in this area of town the street parking is limited, but there is lots of parking in the lots. We will return for another pregame meal with drinks.

Good vibe. Over priced food. Had the mediterreanean dish. Huumus with cuscos. Tasted like mayonaise. Also had salad eith quinoa and added chicken. 30 bucks for both. Flavor sucked
