"GO HERE: to go deep on beer. The minimalist neighborhood space has an 11-page bottle list to round out the 10 taps. Not a beer person? There are cocktails, American whiskies, eight kinds of Fernet, etc. ORDER THE: any of the beer on tap! As for the cocktails, the Carola is a favorite: bourbon, Gran Classico, lime crush, and India pale ale. THE VIBE IS: graphic designer-y but approachable. Let’s just say this is the kind of place that sells bottles of Underberg behind the bar—and not just for the so-so takeaway pizzas you can order from next door. PRACTICAL STUFF: Open every day: Sunday and Monday from 3 p.m. to midnight; Tuesday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. —Christine Muhlke" - Condé Nast

Great, local spot. Small inside, but warm vibes. Good beer selection. Front was partially hidden by building work so missed it the first time. Had to circle back.

Google
Super amazing and quaint little craft beer place with tasty to go draft beers. Am amazed it took me this long to find it but Im so happy to have found it now! They sell to go beers which is perfect during corona lock down times. Prices are super reasonable (cheaper than most other places which offer to go options - ie: 60 to 75dkk for 1 litre options - see the photos shared for 500ml options as well. Plus no additional charges for pants) You also get to have tasters to choose which beers you would prefer which some bars have stopped during due to corona. Highly recommended! 😍

Google
Craft beer Nirvana right here! Their bottle list has some high profile Cantillon's, check it out. Also always check for tap take overs! Great beer spot in Copenhagen.

Google
Great beer bar with a good range of tap beers and a probably unrivalled range of bottled sour beers. A really stylish exterior is matched by the interior, with beautiful plants and tiles. This is a classic Scandinavian style beer bar. Really glad we went here.

Google
Great bar with one of the best bottle lists for lambic in Europe, although it's not quite as extensive and rare add it used to be before covid. You can still get seasonal Cantillons, Antidoot, De Cam, Tillquin and more. Draft is 8 taps, mostly IPAs and lagers, some from the states. Cans to go. Delicious pizza from next door.

Google
The selection has lessened significantly since the last time I was there (several years ago). Still a nice place for a good craft beer.

Google
I wish this my local. One of the best bars that I’ve ever been to. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, boss beers and welcoming locals.

If you're on the hunt for Lambic beers from all over, this is the place to come. They also offer bar snacks and pizzas can be ordered in from a place down the street. The bartenders all spoke great English as well, making it easy for us Canadians to get our sour beer fix!

Yelp
A real gem of a beer bar in Copenhagen, intimate with low lighting and good music. The bar dominates the room. The bottle / can list is very good and a paper copy is available on request with a selection of the available beers listed on the blackboard just to the left of the bar. I wanted to give this bar 5 stars but it is let down by two things; to start with it was baking hot, unnecessarily even with the snow outside. Second the server was more interested by a boy at the bar than the beer and its customers.

Yelp
Himmeriget is Evil Twin heaven. Small supernarrow venue. 10-ish taps of craft beer. One hell of a bottle menu. It is divey and worn out with ugly concrete floor. But the beer menu is not.

Yelp
After our second full day at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration had come to an end, we were 'persuaded' to accompany some newfound Norwegian beer-friends to go and check out Himmeriget (Kingdom of Heaven). So after an unexpectedly long walk northwards (it's 30 minutes from Vesterbro), we eventually crossed their threshold and found a small but very busy dive bar. It's owned by the guy behind Evil Twin Brewing (who's the brother of the guy behind Mikkeller) so you know immediately it's going to be one hell of a drinking den. Though space was at a premium, the choice is wide and we enjoyed trying some of their lambic offerings. They also sell very rare and special beers for up to and over 2,000 krone (£200!). The bar is still fairly new, so must still be *the* place to be in this part of the city. If we hadn't already spent eight hours in a beer festival and needed something to eat, we'd have definitely stayed longer!

Yelp
Stopped in here for a few beers on my self-directed tour of craft spots around CPH, and was definitely pleased. It's a fun little spot on a main road, fits 4-5 people at the bar and has a few tables around, pretty cozy. I showed up shortly after they opened for the day and it was pretty chill, so I can't imagine what it must be like during their special events. I had a few beers on tap, which were quite nice, but the real thing that makes Himmeriget special is their bottle and can list - out of this world. If you want Cantillon, this is where you need to be. Not only do they have a wide selection from them (including their own exclusive!), they also have a significant library of vintages to select from - you could set up your own vertical tasting, if you have enough people with you to drink it that is! In addition, they have many, many others such as about 22 different rare types of Mexican Cake (!!) and many beers flown in from the NY metro area (props to my local brewery Magnify for showing up there!). If you get hungry, they'll also pull in pizza from next door. I didn't try it, but that's for review of another business regardless. DEFINITELY add this to your list of "must go" beer places when in CPH!

Yelp
It's a battle between three and five stars, so I settled with four. I must admit I have been long waiting the arrival of Evil Twin bar in Copenhagen, after all - the other twin dominates pretty much the beer scene in Copenhagen, where on earth is the evil twin, then? I am going to commit a blasphemy here and say that I love evil twin's beer more than mikkeller. Gasp. There, I said it. That's because most of evil twin's products are of the dark variety. Stout, porter, you name it - all the tar-looking goodness that I live to enjoy. Sadly, most of his products are on limited availability in Copenhagen. Fair enough, they had to import it from the US and all, so when I finally heard about this bar, I caught myself hallelujah-ing to the ears of my beer-drinking friends. Now here comes the part where I wanted to give it only three stars: Bar is small-ish (okay, maybe slightly bigger than Mikkeller in Viktoriagade), but it's really dark there, and I hate dark places. Maybe other people think it's hyggeligt, but I almost had to go outside to read the menu). Mina K said that they didn't allow tasting because the beer was expensive. What rubbish. All bars allow tasting. Even if the beer is expensive, you can at least give itty-bitty sample. This is where I love my regular hangout at Taphouse, Mikropolis and Ørsted Ølbar. I get the vibe that this bar is for snotty beer nerds, with their beer clubs (don't look at me!) - or maybe it's just the thing that I feel. It's also on Åboulevard, which I hate since I use the public transport and no decent buses run through Åboulevard. Yes, I am very well aware that this is a first world problem, no decent bus runs near your bar joint. Boohoo! The five star pull is because: They have evil twin beers! What else not to like? The have the whole range of the collection in bottles. Expensive, yes, but they have it, but you have to drink it in-house as you can't bring it home the bottle. Oh well, whatever it takes to drink it. We had the Imperial Biscotti Break Bourbon Barrel aged and I must say that it's out of the world!! I don't think this bar would become our regular hangout, since it's not exactly central as in Mikropolis or Taphouse, but will definitely come back again if I'm craving for evil twin beer and that would happen now and then. So for now, four stars!

Yelp
Quite possibly the best beer bar in Scandinavia, aside from Akkurat. Incredible staff, incredible selection

Yelp
I would say currently one of the best places for a beer in Copenhagen. Nice atmosphere and really good selection of beers, though not that big a selection on tap compared to some other beer bars.

Yelp
Himmeriget means "kingdom of heaven," and while this place has a heavenly beer list, it fell just short of divinity. I am a big fan of sour beers so there was a lot to keep me entertained, but they also have other types if you are not into that. Other than sours, I'm guessing that the biggest draw is the Evil Twin and hard-to-find beers on tap and bottle. Although we got good service, I was really surprised that they do not allow sampling of draught beers. The explanation I got was "because they're expensive." Well, yes, they are. Which is why I would like to try it before buying a whole glass! The prices are in line with the Mikkeller bars or Taphouse so I can't accept that. Another downer was the acoustics; on a Saturday evening at 7 we had to yell at each other over a small table because it was so loud! Not the music but patrons' conversations. I would love to come back here but hopefully never again at peak hours. And I suppose I'll have to read up on their beers before ordering since I can't try any.

Yelp
This is the sister bar to Tørst in Brooklyn and also has the same flux capacitor thing that serves draught beer at the correct temperatures. So no problems with freezing cold stouts. While not as beautifully designed as its US counterpart this place has plenty of atmosphere. It is very much a hardcore beer geek place though and I can understand why some people might be lukewarm on the place. I was there during CBC and while the bottle list was insane (lots of serious lambic whales) I guess it might be somewhat depleted now.

Yelp
Great beer. Specially the sour ones. Nice selection of amargos. Beer is a bit too pricy though
