Hing Kee Bakuteh Main Branch 甲洞大街 兴记肉骨茶 总行

I visited **Heng Kee Bak Kut Teh** (main branch) and ordered the Bak Kut Teh soup, yellow wine prawns, and chicken feet. The Bak Kut Teh soup was decent and comforting, while the yellow wine prawns and chicken feet were okay in taste. Overall, the food was normal and did not really give a “wow” factor. It’s an acceptable place if you’re craving Bak Kut Teh, but nothing particularly outstanding based on this visit.

Been coming here for years! Really consistent dishes served here. The ribs are tender, the broth is really delicious and the side dishes are great as add ons. Their scallion oil infused rice is such a great combination with the herbal broth and tender meats. Always packed , go there early. Service is fast and the kitchen churns out dishes in a jiffy. Highly recommended!

Very good place for food. Legit tasty and all you can eat soup!!! Just the soup not the meat. They will keep topping it up until you say no. You can also order food from adjacent restaurants and bring it over. Love the vibe.

Busy like ants. Packed with customers. The BKT was good. Michelin BIB star restaurant. I would have given 5 stars fornthe food except that the claypot that the BKT came in lost its heat within 15mins of arrival. That made the food cold and lardy. Therefore, can't really take our time to relish the food except to wolf it down before the pot got cold. Otherwise, enjoyable meal.

I really enjoyed every bite of the food we ordered, especially the dry Bak Kut teh which has a very unique aromatic flavour! The spare ribs and pig stomach were well cooked till tender and both types of soup were so rich in flavours!

Return to restaurants after visit next shop past few weeks as it surprise me with michelin star and 5 shops in a row , super crowded during dinner time. as klang bah kut teh lover , i must try how is this kepong bkt good at. The claypot soup bkt is super clear and “clean” type which not mix with left over herbal and meat fat , etc , it looks purely clear plain but surprisingly rich with flavor , non heavy type bkt but consider good for me. the meat served with 3 layer pork but actually we order belly , surprisingly it is good also , medium soft type . Ngam me , the soup bkt do not come with fu zok or tao poh unless top up . Tried also dry type bkt , it taste ok , not bad . Overall satisfying the food and service 2nd visit , yellow Wine chicken is favorable also

I seldom eat BKT but this BKT taste less herbal and saltier. It is below my BKT expectation. Portion was ok. On the other hand, love the dried BKT. More flavourful with the dark soy sauce on every thickly cut pork belly.

With cyclone Senyar pouring freeflow sky juice today in Kepong, the urge to have warm soup with rice for dinner after pickleball, led me to this famous bak kut teh's eating house. As usual, the bkt was top notch 4.7* especially goes well with chopped garlics and chilly padi. Tasted the gingered yellow rice wine chicken for the 1st time here, it was oishi too 4.7*. Plentiful of gingers and generous rice wine to warm our bodies. A nice lovely dinner indeed on a wet day. Nov 27, 2025
