Hing Lung

Do not order from Hing Lung. Placed order at 5:20 pm on a Monday, was told 30 minutes. Called back at 6:20, was told a few more minutes. Called back at 6:50, and hour and 30 minutes from order time to be told the driver “Just left” and that it would be “a few more minutes” Food finally arrived at 7:10. It was extremely greasy and the eggroll tasted stale. 90% of the food went into the garbage. I cannot recommend.

The absolute most bland unflavored food. We ordered from here and went right out to ShopRite for burgers to cook on the grill. 53.98 for two shrimp with lobster sauce and all it was shrimp n egg whites. No flavor what’s so ever. Sesame chicken had NO. Chicken. All bread!!! DO NOT order from here.

This is our usual go-to. The sesame chicken is delicious, and so is the chicken&broccoli. The fried wontons are some of the best I've had. Sometimes you have to repeat parts of the order again, but the order always comes correct, hot, and delicious. The prices have DEFINITELY jumped, but honestly- What prices haven't?

He took my order told me 30 minutes for delivery one hour later I called them. They said it’s out for delivery when I called them again they told me it was delivered. The idiots delivered it to the wrong house and charged my credit card. Someone got a free meal and I never got my dinner Only had to tell me was they were very busy and I would’ve either picked it up or expected to wait but not to wait over an hour and a half and then have my food delivered to the wrong address. I would never recommend these people for delivery or to buy food and pick up .

If I could give a negative 10, I would. This place is terrible. From the moment I called to place the order, I should have known. They couldn't take down my address correctly. Anyway, I went ahead and picked up the order. The chicken was INEDIBLE!. Both chicken with cashews and the general tsos chicken could not be eater. The pieces were so hard. Like all overcooked breading, no meat. It was disgusting. The fried rice was bland. The egg rolls, too. They didn't give any noodles or fortune cookies. I would never recommend or order from this place again. Stay away.

I placed an order tonight at 6:58pm and after 2 calls to see where the food was, they finally delivered at 8:45pm. The boneless spare ribs were cold and dry. The rest of the food was pedestrian. The manager kept claiming only 10 more minutes which wasn't true. She apologized but only offered a $10 discount on a $80 plus order. I would never recommend someone to order from this restaurant.

My neighbor recommended this restaurant after the one I liked closed. It was a great recommendation! The food is good & more importantly, has never made my family and I sick. I can't speak on their delivery. Most times I place an order for pickup & it's ready when they say it is.

Food was delicious. I ordered crab Rangoon, Steamed dumplings, and general tso's chicken. I was amazed by the fact that their crab Rangoon used crab meat over imitation crab. They were truly delicious. Their steamed dumplings and egg rolls were delicious as well. The general tsos chicken was also delicious. Would definitely return again when I'm in the area.

They take orders over the phone, deliver and you can use a credit card. They're prompt, friendly and it's the best Chinese food in the neighborhood. We've ordered three times for two people and different meals each time. Btw, their prices are reasonable.

Good is still excellent.... However currently at this time they are not doing any delivery service.

Family run authentic American Chinese spot. Loved the boneless ribs actually had some large pieces with nice crisp on the edges, which we love. Drove 14 min to get there but coming from Bklyn we long for a delicious option for Chinese in NJ. Not easy. This is our new go to, even if a bit far from us, better than paying that toll to Staten Island!! Thank you for the yummy dinner.

I was in the mood for some Chinese food, and after having bad food from another Chinese take out in the area I looked on Yelp for the one for the highest stars for this time I ordered for delivery in the Parlin area. Hing Lung has the highest rating in the area so I called and placed my order. First, nobody seemed to understand the street name I was trying to get a delivery too, and I had to say it, and spell it multiple times so I was kind of nervous if they would get here. They actually arrived within 30 minutes after calling which is great! We both enjoyed the food and nothing was salty at all. I loved the sauce the chicken and broccoli came in, and they gave you nice pieces of chicken too. I'd definitely order from them again as we both enjoyed the food and delivery was fast.

This is one of the best fast food Chinese restaurants in the area. Food is always fresh, great prices and awesome portion sizes. This is a frequented spot for my family for take out. They also are following cdc guidelines for the pandemic which is very important to my family. Great place. Highly recommend.

Wanted to try a new Chinese place since most are bad around the area, and this is the worst yet. I define a good Chinese joint based on their Fried Rice, & it was pitiful. Pork, raw onions, and yellow rice. Never.Again.to HingLung

Decent lunch. Good size and hot (temp). Place is in corner of shopping that has over grown weeds. Inside is typical take out place. General Tso chicken was good not the best. Not enough season for me. Overall good and would return for lunch

Best Chinese food in the area. I'm from California and we have some awesome Chinese food there. Orange chicken and beef along with sesame chicken are our go to's. The egg rolls were good also.

Never had a bad meal or experience with this restaurant. They delivery is very prompt and the food always come hot & fresh. Pretty much on par or better than the other Chinese restaurants in the area. They have the usual Chinese cuisine and their egg rolls are particularly good.

I typically order from them. Today I called and I was told rather rudely that there was no driver for delivery which I found odd on a Saturday night . A little while later I called back because I was going to pick up and was told we have no fried rice . But when she told me I hadn't even ordered anything so I hit the feeling she didn't want the business . She was rude about it no apology or anything . I think I will not be ordering from them . They list a good customer today

Not bad, not great. Crab rangoon were money bag style and good. I liked the egg roll. General Tsaos' had a good flavor, but no crunch. I liked the dumplings and sauce, very thick dough, but my wife hated them. The spare ribs were different sizes and not particularly good, but very meaty. Overall I'm not in a rush to go back, but not a bad local option.

So I ordered shrimp and bean sprouts with scallions in white sauce. Normally I get it with chicken, so when I went to eat it, it was so spicy it was brutal to eat. I called the restaurant and the lady said nothing can be done because I needed to bring it back..I live 20 minutes from there..I asked for a credit and she said all she would do would give me a partial credit...SOOOO $10.00 later I had no food to eat...Not to happy with that answer. I deceided not to go back. I do not think that was appropriate..

Pretty good Chinese food. There are a bunch of them in the area and this one holds its own. I usually get the boneless spare ribs and the sesame chicken extra crispy. It's in a weird spot in the shopping plaza all the way on the end. The shopping plaza itself is a disaster falling apart at the seams but don't let it discourage you from ordering here.

Great food. Unbelievable customer service!!! I called in an order and picked it up (with small kids in tow) yesterday. When I got home, I discovered an item was missing, so I called, they immediately apologized, asked for my address and delivered it super fast.

Been eating here for 16 years and the food has been consistent for 16 years. Always well cooked, never too salty, or funny tasting! No longer a Sayreville resident but I always come here when I'm home!

I have been going to this location since 1979. It is one of the two remaining original businesses from when the area was first built. Although the owners may have changed hands over that time, the quality of food has kept me coming back for over 35 years.

Bad service and the food was disgusting!!!!! Don't waist you money or time. Never again.

Service here is always friendly and the food is good. Very generous portions for their lunch specials which are all under $6. When I'm in this neighborhood and want Chinese food I come here.

I ordered a spring roll and they gave me cabbage in an egg roll :( and the hot sauce tasted really weird

Ordered the white meat Taos chicken. When I had cut a few pieces open I noticed that it was made of 98 % breading and the other 2% was a lower quality chicken meat. Most likely the meat came from a can. Totally disgusting. Minus five stars at best. Workers smiled politely as they deceived another customer.

Stopped in here because Nunzios was packed. We didn't have high expectations but were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Great hot and sour soup. All the food was delicious. Our new go to for Chinese in the area.

this place is the bomb. my go to spot for chinese food in nj. i've even driven down from hoboken to satisfy my pregnant wife's craving. get it now.
