"A third location of the Black-owned brewery opens in Stone Mountain Friday, October 14, ahead of Blacktoberfest on October 15. Part of the grand opening celebration this weekend, Blacktoberfest is dedicated to Black brewing culture in America. Expect food, beer, a bottle share, and other events throughout the day, along with a new West Coast-style hefeweizen on draft in honor of Oktoberfest. Located on Memorial Drive, the Stone Mountain location will serve Hippin Hops’ core beers as well as dishes from both the East Lake and East Atlanta Village breweries and a few new soul food dishes." - Beth McKibben

Went Friday as they were getting started for the food truck event. We ordered the a flight, wings, salmon bites, oysters Rockefeller, Mac and cheese and Cajun fries. The wings were plain and looked pretty regular but they were my partners and he didn’t say to much. My kids ate all the Mac n cheese which was good. The oysters tasted good and fresh the cheese could’ve been a little more melted but it was not a problem. The salmon bites stuck out the most I was very impressed how perfectly they were fried, not hard and dry like often other places. I didn’t even get to finish them and threw them and the fries in my air fryer the next day and it was still good!! The sauce that comes with the salmon is really good as well I could’ve used a little more. Now the flight was amazing. I typically don’t like fruity beers but the peach and strawberry lemonade ones they have are really good. Also tried the baby mama drama and another I can’t remember but ALL were delicious. At the end a lot of food trucks were there and we got a funnel cake that was delicious. Absolutely recommend and it’f you want variety check out Fridays for the food truck event!

New brewery alert out here In the Stone Mountain area and it's really close by where we are and I'm glad for that but besides that my brother and I checked it out to see what they had and we definitely enjoyed everything. First off I love some of the names of the beers. The baby's mama's drama beer had me cracking up, but nonetheless it's a good strong IPA. I also liked the Just Peachy, but this one you will have to appreciate the taste behind it. It does a sweet finish at the end of sipping it. I liked it. Overall these beers are some heavy hitters. But don't sleep on the food here at all! I truly liked the food they were cooking up. We enjoyed their greens and Mac n cheese sides but their shrimp deviled eggs and craw fish tacos were all tasty. The seasoning was spot on delicious with just enough kick. I love how it was just seasoning. Nothing was over saturated with salt which is great for me. A little side story with this brewery as it is Atlanta's black owned brewery and this is their new location. I hope to see this brewery grow in the area. With the food and the beer selection I think they are headed off in the right direction.

This place has some of THE best beer I've ever tasted! They also serve [GOOD] food which is rare for breweries. If you're feeling froggy, you can hop on one the arcade games. The owner is SO friendly and truly cares about you having a good experience. It's a one-stop shop. You can't go wrong

Visited on a Saturday evening with my father and sister and it was a great time. This building has been empty for some time and it's always nice to see a black owned business pop up in the area especially ones that are expanding. This is their 3rd location. The decor gave the interior an upscale vibe with the floors and chandeliers, but they kept it consistent with their EAV location by having white picnic tables. They have video games and a large scale connect 4. We were the only ones there which was fine by us because we got to talk with 2 of the 3 owners. We were given a tour of the space by Q, which consists of an event room, their home distillery, kitchen, refrigeration, office space, and a few areas that have yet to be transformed. We were able to sample a few before each ordering our beer flight which comes with 4 beers. I'm not a beer drinker, but Sweets was able to offer me some options that I thoroughly enjoyed. My favorite was the So Peachy, but I also had the Baby Momma Drama and the Spades & Lemonade. We ended up getting fries, salmon bites, and crawfish tacos. Fries were crispy as requested, the salmon bites were ok, and I didn't taste the crawfish tacos. It was a great outing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They're still very new only open Fri-Sun at this time. They are going to expand to serve their in house liquor among a few other items. I highly recommend giving this black owned business a visit, you won't regret it.

Awesome experience! Hippin Hops exceeded all my expectations and more! I recently had my 50th birthday party and was nothing short of amazing! The staff made sure that my guests were well cared for. The food and brews were top-notch. Thank you, Hippin Hops! I would give you 6 stars if I could.

Bartender caught me dancing and eating. She said, “if you having a good time give us a 5-star review on goggle.” So I am here. The bartenders are great. Great vibes, even for non-beer drinkers! I’ve been drinking the “Kinda Skinny Girl Margarita” - because that’s who I am. Great service!

Yelp
What a vibe! I'm so happy Hippin Hops has come to Stone Mountain! The space is absolutely beautiful, nice marble floors, dim lighting, they really put thought into the design. There is plenty of parking outside, and the inside is spacious. The picnic style tables each have a deck of cards on them and there are arcade games. Beer: only beer at this location as of now, no liquor. The beer is so good! I had the strawberry lemonade sour and my friend had the peach. They do let you sample so you can find what you like. Food: love that their menu is seafood forward, very unique compared to other breweries I've been to. The food is yummy, well-seasoned, nice portions. I had the lobster roll with collards for my side and my friend had the shrimp and grits. Both were tasty and the greens were nicely balanced (not overly sweet). This is definitely the nicest place in Stone Mountain (specifically Memorial Dr) to come out and have a great time. Did I mention it's black-owned? The owner is super nice and made sure we enjoyed our time. This is officially my spot!

Yelp
My apologies no pictures. Sorry!!! Met the owner...super chill entrepreneur. Had just arrived back from Carolina, where he's setting up another location. I think it would make four. The Stone Mountain location is in the old Piccadilly spot on memorial. Plenty of parking. Ambiance/ decor: Beautiful marble like floor design. Picnic tables indoor and outdoor. Video games, cards on the tables, and giant sized games ( connect four). Food/drinks: I had the peach beer mimosa thingy. I do not like beer. But I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. No bad taste, smell. Just nice and smooth. Bathroom: Not in the best condition. Two of the three stalls were out of commission. The one that was available, needed care. This location is only open on the weekends. Menu is seafood/oyster heavy. Nice side plates.

Yelp
Very nice on the inside. The owners seem yo have put a lot of thought into the design. Plenty of parking outside and they have some video games for the kids. Definitely will try again.

Yelp
I got to enjoy the Cinna-buns stout, hot wings, and their mac and cheese. I recommend them all. Extremely friendly staff + good food and beer is a great combination!
