Hiraya Café

Hiraya Café is a lovely little spot along a side street. It has alfresco seating, which makes it a really nice place to hang out especially if you’re looking for somewhere calm to work or just relax. I also appreciated that there are sockets available. The staff were very nice and welcoming. They have a good selection of snacks, and the items on the menu are reasonably priced. I tried their Tropical Sunrise drink, and it was super refreshing, I loved it. I also ordered the fries, which were thick-cut and served warm, making them very satisfying. I didn’t try much from the menu this time, but based on my experience, I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more on my next visit.

Great cozy place! Good food! Friendly staff! We had late breakfast/early lunch in the cafe today. There were people dining in but it wasn’t packed. Glad to have been seated outside veranda/patio overlooking Leonard Wood Road. The place is pet-friendly (picture here was for quick photo-opp only) and the lady staff who attended to us was very warm and courteous. We ordered Cafe Hiraya Signature and Cafe Latte for our drinks, then Beef Tapa and All-American Breakfast to eat. Both were ample-sized and tasty.

Perfect in Baguio. This is my most recommended café near Casa Valley. It’s located along the highway and has outdoor dining, so you can watch the cars passing by. When it comes to food, it’s a 10/10 for me since the servings are generous (chicken poppers & Alfredo with smoked kining). >The Spanish latte wasn’t as strong as what I am expecting but overall, the experience, vibe, and service were great! Kudos to the team.

You know that feeling when you're tired from walking around and stumble upon a café with no expectations, only for it to become the best place you've eaten at? That's exactly how dining here felt. The Spanish iced coffee was spot on with a generous serving, the tapa was delicious and true to classic Filipino flavors. I just wished the side came with a variety of fruits instead of what was served. The interiors and staff were wonderful! creating a homey yet Instagrammable space that perfectly fits Baguio's aesthetic.

Discovered Hiraya Cafe while staying in Casa Vallejo, and I'm happy I did! This charming cafe boasts a lovely patio overlooking the streets of Baguio, making it a perfect spot for people-watching. Note that pets are only allowed in the alfresco area, but it's truly the best seat in the house. The American Breakfast was delicious, although the bacon could've been better. The matcha latte was a letdown, tasting more like instant matcha powder. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, I had a pleasant time, and the patio alone is worth a visit. Would recommend for a relaxing brunch with a view!"

Hiraya Café is for sure one of my favorite cafes in Baguio. I’ve been here several times - the tapsilog is so good✨ hot latte is also good! Overall ambiance is amazing especially the outdoor seating. It could get loud with the passing cars but personally did not bother me at all. It’s great to have the indoor-outdoor ambiance too. Restroom is also so clean, major plus! I cannot wait to come back and bring friends and family here as well ❤️🍃☕️🍳

Food and atmosphere is great. Pet friendly as long as pet is diapered and seated at the veranda which we really liked anyways because we were beside trees. Only issue is the traffic below but the ambience is still nice. Pricing is reasonable with normal cafe pricing. Spent around 270 each for our meals. Food was great. Refresher mix was also good. Servinf time was around 10-15 min. Definitely coming back.

I’ve been here before but only reviewing now! I got the kani salad only because I wasn’t up for a big meal and I’m so glad I did because it was so good! The vegetables were fresh and crisp, their sesame sauce was tasty, and I loved having dried mangoes with the kani. I was very satisfied with my order. They serve water along with your meal, and the wait staff were all very polite and welcoming. And of course, the location is lovely. The space is quaint and I love that there’s a mix of the busyness of the city while being under the shade of a pine tree. Overall, would totally come back and try out more of their menu. I had coffee and one of the rice meals last time I went, and I remember liking it too so I definitely recommend this place.
