Very accommodating for my son's birthday!! The waitress messed up one item but very quickly fixed it. Lots of options, followed our allergy list, gave us a surprise birthday cake, and was so kind! Cons: if non able walker, only one handicap parking spot so make sure to park out front and drop off guests first. Pros: clean, great food, one option of sushi for non fish eaters called the Husker roll which is great!, kid friendly, date night approved, back private party room, open bar seating, 9/10 would go again

Dylan our bartender was awesome! I asked lots of questions and he was willing to make any weird drink! Service with a smile is worth while 😁

I ordered takeout from Hiro and had a really frustrating experience. The app never notified me when my food was ready, and there were no gluten free labels on anything even though I noted my celiac allergy. The host said he was “95-99% sure” the Brussels sprouts were gluten free, which isn’t good enough for a medical condition. I had to go back in for gluten free soy sauce, the staff was cold and unhelpful, and they forgot chopsticks. Worst of all, I started feeling sick shortly after eating, which makes me worry about cross contamination. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with gluten safety or service here.

A group of friends and I went to Hiro88 for dinner and ran into a unique situation that led us to contact management. The manager, Dylan, was incredibly helpful, considerate, and kind while resolving a misunderstanding about happy hour pricing. His response was much appreciated and really changed our impression of the experience in a positive way. He refunded the difference and assured us the issue would be addressed moving forward. The food was great, and his effort afterward made a big difference.

all the cuts of fish were delicious and fresh. the server was incredibly attentive and got us refills right as soon as the glass went down. we got the rainbow, poke, volcano and west coast rolls. my favorite to get were the tuna and yellowtail. the only complaint was that it took a minute to get the bill

Very last minute decision to come here for dinner for our Anniversary date night because this was the only place that was open fairly late. We got here around 9:35 and were extremely happy that they still so does even though they closed at 10. Major MAJOR shout out to our server first of all! What a gem! So friendly and always checking and honest if we needed anything - and it was out of genuine concern and not just to make us leave. In fact, we ended up staying beyond 10:00 p.m. and he was still super nice the entire time. Really friendly and bubbly and nice to talk to as well. As for the food.. I got the beef and broccoli and really loved it! It was steaming hot! Definitely freshly made. Good chunks of meat and really good amount of broccoli as well. I love the ratios on this year. There was quite an amount of sauce though which I was not expecting but overall it was a really good dish. May or may not have burned my tongue, but it was all worth it! My fiance got the Thai chicken curry from the entree section. He also had a good amount of vegetables in there and the chicken was really well cooked. Quite some big pieces of chicken too. Another fresh dish with a lot going on but very good things going on. We got the side salad for both orders. It was a simple greens plus dressing kind of a salad, but that dressing was out of this world! I asked the server and he said it was an in-house carrot ginger dressing. I'm now on the lookout for a good one to purchase! To end the meal we asked for the scallion pancake. Server was surprised this was our ending, but he went with it. Put it in just before the kitchen closed. The pancake was nice and flaky and really fresh and warm and crispy. Quite an amount of oil on there so I had to take some out with paper towels by pressing it but I would totally order it again. It comes with a spicy sauce which is a must!

Disappointed by How Regulars Were Treated I used to come in on Sundays with friends around 9 or 9:30 after comedy. Yes, we knew they closed at 10, and we were always mindful of that—we ordered quickly, knew exactly what we wanted, and never overstayed. Staff would clean around us, which was fine—we appreciated their effort and respected their time. But recently, when we came in as usual, we were turned away without any explanation. When we politely asked why, the manager gave us no reason at all. As regular, respectful customers, we expected at least a basic explanation or a courteous response. It’s disappointing to feel unwelcome at a place we used to enjoy and support regularly. A little communication would have gone a long way.

A rather eclectic “choose your own adventure” restaurant- Chinese OR Japanese. (Why not throw some Korean in there — and we can have a trifecta!) Food was remarkably good, although they had no Non-Alcoholic beverages on the menu. Portions were also rather generous ( sashimi) and excellent presentation. The chicken teriyaki was not teriyaki - but tasty nonetheless. The decor was a bit cavernous, but clean and tidy. Service was attentive and kind - loved our server. In all: a pretty good dining experience. Would love to see them kick into a higher gear though. I will be back.
