Hirokiya Shibuya

One of my new favorite restaurants in Tokyo. Amazing rare Hamburg steak served with a decadent orange egg yolk over perfect rice. Their raw steak bowl is also amazing and highly recommended. But the Hamburg steak is super limited- last time I was there it sold out within 12 minutes of opening! Definitely give this place a try.

The BEST meat cuts and flavor in Shibuya, the service was exceptional and the drinks (lemon, lime, and orange sours) were the also the best I’ve had in Tokyo and Osaka. Definitely worth the money and time. We went full out and got the most expensive order set to experience everything this great place had to offer! Would recommend 100%….

I was referred to this shop a while ago and saved it on my Google Maps. Finally got the chance to try it a few days ago! Luckily it wasn’t too busy, so I got a seat without a booking. There were heaps of choices on the menu, but since I wasn’t too hungry and was dining alone, I just ordered a few pieces of ox tongue, hot beef soup, and a small steamed rice with yolk. Later on, I added a few more pieces of beef. The food was really good, and the staff were super friendly and nice. The shop is quite small with limited seating, so I’d recommend making a booking if you’re going during peak hours. I’ll definitely come back again with an empty stomach and some friends next time!

This was our first time in Japan, and my young adult kids had been eager to try this restaurant since we arrived. Although our reservation didn't go through, we were pleasantly surprised when they accommodated us without one. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. As a meat-loving family, we truly enjoyed our experience!

Dear Hirokiya Shibuya, Me and my fiance had the best time here tonight and we would highly recommend to anyone. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! The head chef/host was lovely and made our meal a delight. Couldnt recommend highly enough, also in a great location. Please visit if you get the chance.

This is exactly the kind of beef dish meat lovers dream about. The beef here is incredibly soft, almost like you don’t need to chew at all because the texture is so tender and silky when you break the egg yolk over the beef and rice, it blends into a rich, creamy sauce that makes every bite even more luscious, definitely recommended

We loved the lunch meat box with rice and vegetables. The beef was fresh and incredibly yummy, so mouth-watering! It was a perfect lunch

Hands down, the best Wagyu and sashimi beef in Shibuya 🥩✨ Unreal flavor, warm energy, and the sweetest staff. Special shout-out to our server for making the night unforgettable. 10/10 experience.
