Hisa Krasna prepared an incredible vegetarian tasting menu for my girlfriend and I. The waitress was wonderful and the owner/sommelier (Boris) was knowledgeable and poured delicious wines. Huge compliments to the chef and the team… as an omnivore, it’s rare to get a vegetarian tasting menu this good. Bravo!

We had dinner at the restaurant. It was simply divine. One of the best restaurants in Slovenia. We had dinner outside in the courtyard which is beautiful. We had the 6 courses menu which was amazing, we will never forget the beef tartare that we had there, it was superb. We highly recommend the restaurant if you’re visiting the area. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back there one day

Came for lunch on a Saturday. Lovely house/ hotel’ with a beautiful back garden court yard with umbrellas and cosy feel. We had the tasting menu 6 courses. From start to finish we had an excellent meal and the people were So friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience and delicious delicate food very well presented and with fresh produce and local wines. I can’t wait to come back.

Hisa Krasna is a gorgeous hotel run by Dajana and Boris in the small village of Lovek. It is very convenient if visiting the Lipica stud and Skocjam caves. Our room was immaculately clean and comfortable, and a very tranquil setting. The highlight is the food, all cooked from local ingredients and beautifully presented, dinner was exceptional. Our hosts could not be more welcoming and friendly.

Hisa Krasna is a lovely family-owned affair. The proprietors are a lovely couple who take pride in every detail.||Dinner is spectacular. Five courses, not including the "amuse bouche" -- small savory items served before the meal, a chef's gift. The courses include trout from the Soca river and venison from the Slovenian forests. Each course has an associated Slovenian wine pairing (small pours).||Amazing stay. We highly recommend this establishment.

Best experience ever. We arrived late but could still eat lunch - best lunch ever, worth every star. Rooms are super nice and the village is really cute. Breakfast was amazing and the people are super super friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open a few evenings and we were on a hike. Nevertheless, the owner drove us to a near by restaurant so that we did not have to walk for 3 hours. Would recommend everyone to stay here (!!)

This restaurant is one of the Best in Slovenia. We ordered 6 hourses menu and all together was amazing the Best . I think they must to receive mischelin star. Congratulation to the staff and chef in the cousine. We will return for sure ! |All the ingredients were home made .

Excellent composition of the courses with regional ingredients and very finely tuned wine recommendations. Very high quality. The passion with which the hosts run this business and entertain the guests can be seen immediately in every little detail. The stylishly renovated building and the tasteful furnishings make your stay a real experience.
