a slightly offbeat location, with open views of a valley and a simple but elegantly designed restaurant. has a warm and welcome vibe, with the young staff making you feel comfortable
the menu offers a good blend of the sea and land, with plenty of options across starters and main course. we had three plates of starters - raw shrimp (sweet and paired well with the aioli) + beef tartare (hint of spice and just rightly seasoned) + dry-aged yellow tail fish sashimi with truffle (interesting, especially with the tangy dressing)
for main course, we had the ribeye + sirloin steaks with a side of truffle mash and veggies -- steaks were very well cooked, and the sides complemented it well
service was polite, informative, not too overwhelming
overall, a rather good experience of well-prepared dishes that ticked off the right boxes without pretensions, which goes a long way. will need to try their wines next time as they seem to have a good selection of bottles
€150 for 3 starters + 2 mains + 2 sides
