Been to this venue a few times now! Definitely one of the best intimate places in the city. Very clean, love the pizza from blondes and the washroom is superb! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. I felt very welcomed. Security was very professional and took their job seriously! Halsey picture included is at the very back of the venue. Video is towards the middle front! (I’m short)!

Went to see Effens. What a fantastic place to see a concert. You can select the floor, VIP with seating and table lower level or upper level seating. Great design. Can easily see bands. I sat in vip section and was very pleased. The waitress was exceptional services. Could not have asked for a beater place and it is beautifully designed. Highly recommend.

History is honestly one of my favourite spots in Toronto for concerts. The space is super clean, the sound is great, and it feels like every show hits really well in there. DJ nights are just alright though since everything comes from the stage and there’s no lighting behind you to add any vibe. Also, drinks are pretty expensive, so be ready for that. But overall, it’s an awesome place to catch a live show.

It's not as bad as people said about the layout. I will say the tickets were not easy to read about placement of tickets. Mine said Floor 3, but the security were not entirely sure what TicketMaster meant by that. When it got really hot, security was giving out water to the attendees which was amazing. The bar staff were fast serving and kind. Venue itself is okay, and the concert for MARINA was amazing. Would recommend seeing her if she comes back. The VIP access was good, and gave people time to get their spots. The lineup for the venue separation could be a little more clear of VIP vs. General access. Also the area is a bit of a nightmare to get out of after a concert. That comes with concert life, and congestion of high population areas.

Halsey concert at History was Epic. What an amazing performance and she sang from 830pm through closing time. We went to the Saturday concert. The venue is great but definitely recommend paying a bit more for seating in the balcony for the best view and comfort. Drinks are average for venues these days. The bar will give you premium liquor as an upsell in mix drinks you have to ask for bar rail or $$$ Water is $7 or there is a water fountain next to coat check on the main floor. Parking in the lot behind for $20 Street parking in front free after 9pm Don't park on residential streets they all have a 1hr limit and you will get a ticket.

I had a great experience at History. Everything was well organized and on time, from the entry process to the start of the show. The venue was clean, with a fresh renovation that made it feel modern and welcoming. In the fan zone, bottled water was provided, which was a nice touch. The ventilation was excellent with fans keeping the air fresh, and the space itself felt open and comfortable. Overall, a very positive experience.

By far the best concert venue I’ve ever been too. Super clean bathrooms—no graffiti or nasty shit in there. We had VIP tickets, the seats were comfy, they sell food which is really good, our waitress Jessica was awesome and we also were able to skip the merch line. The acoustics are amazing. The VIP section isn’t level with GA so you can see above everyone’s heads. If you are thinking about getting VIP—definitely worth it!!!! Very awesome venue. Staff was incredible.

First time at this venue and loved it. I was in a reserved table in the balcony. Bathrooms were clean, staff were helpful. Much nicer than most venues for music. Security was not exactly chatty, but they weren't offensive either. Parking is nearby and a good amount. Easy to get out of the venue, but not to get out of the parking lot.

Really liked this concert venue. It's the perfect size and had a lot of bathrooms and bartenders.

This is honestly my favourite venue. Bars are fully serviced so no long lines, washrooms are nice and CLEAN, staff are friendly but firm. Food is ... OK, don't buy the water like I did! Tap is free. Usually I hate paying for GA - I like having reserved seating/areas to guarantee my view for a show, but here, you really can't go wrong (unless you're like me suffering from short height faced with tall people right in front. Sad.) There's I think 3 levels of GA: a pit, an area by the bar and washrooms, and 2nd floor. There's also some reserved seating in scattered sections, but unless you really NEED a seat, GA is your bestie. Also, the reserved seating tends to be in the very back because of how the venue is designed. The worst part for me is location. It's right by woodbine beach park. It feels so hard to get to since I'm from the opposite end of the city. Technically, there's a bus route you can take to/from Coxwell station, but I came here once during rush hour and the streets only have 2 lanes and 1 of those lanes is shared with the streetcar...so...hope there can be new ones built literally anywhere else!

A very cool venue with lots of space and good service. The lines aren't extremely long and it's very clean. I would suggest if you don't like crowds to get a table on the top floor. Great views and you have a waitress.

Ambience was really cool! Staff was also very friendly! Had hurt my leg earlier in the day and was offered a place to sit to enjoy the rest of the show I was at, if you have a favorite band performing here you should check this place out

This is a great addition to Toronto venue-wise. I've been here for both a big band concert and and EDM event. Acoustics were decent for both. The entire space is massive, their capacity limit is underwhelming for the size of the venue - which is a good thing is you like to have some personal room. They do have metal detectors and pretty aggressive security. FYI one of my girl friends was a little taken aback, but I think it's probably a good thing. Bathrooms are clean, and water is free. Huge bonuses! Wouldn't hesitate to go to a show here.

the night we went, the security and staff were INCREDIBLY NICE. btw, they let you store backpacks at the harvey's nextdoor, and then let you right back in line. really great venue.

A good size concert venue with decent acoustics. There's a raised area near the back that gives good sightlines to the stage. Line ups to get in can be long as they make you go through metal detectors and show ID, but once in the place is clean. Even the bathrooms had attendants keeping it tidy. There's a good range of beers, wines and spirts, although like so many venues nowadays they are way over-priced. Two drinks, a can of beer and a glass of wine cost over $33!

Quickly becoming one of my favourite music venues in the city. It's a big space without feeling too large or crowded. Easy to get a good view of the band and the acoustics are great. The beer is overpriced but that's par for the course for music venues. There's free street parking in the area which is such a plus. Not a venue for sitting, but if you're happy to stand for a show it's a lovely experience.

I honestly really like this venue. This was my first time attending an event at History. What impressed me the most was how well thought out the space is, how everything makes sense and is quite convenient. The space itself allows for a great experience all around from the acoustics, viewing the stage and yes even dancing. Standing is fine too but there is space enough to dance and not trouble others who may not want to. Almost even better is entering and exiting are quick and nearly hassle free. Please note I attended a capacity show and in no way does this reflect a lack of crowd this is a well planned layout. I thought the event staff were great and really went out of their way to help people make the most of their nights out. The bar is very accessible and keeps up with the demand easily not to mention that it's well stocked. As impressive as History appears from the outside so is the experience you will receive here. Looking forward to the next show I'll be attending there.

Honestly, the venue is amazing. It fits a ton of people and the SOUND is incredible. The only issue is the PARKING LOT. It took us an HOUR to get out of the Lizzy McAlpine concert... unacceptable. ALSO the stamp for 19+ is humungous and ugly. Good luck getting it off for the next work day.

This was my first visit to this venue, and it is beautiful! Very convenient layout, and not a bad view in the the house! Bars surround the area raised from the GA area, and plentiful staff made the alcohol acquisition quick and simple. I was NOT expecting $70+ dollars for 4 top shelf gin and tonics ($90+ with tip.), but I digress... This place has A LOT of security/ushers, and we felt very safe in the 3,800 person crowd. Sound was fantastic. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into planning Drake's venue.

Very nice, civilized legit live music venue. Good service at the bars and seated areas.
