"Hitoshi Araki's restaurant is near Place des Salins. Working alone in the kitchen, the chef cooks up creative French cuisine enriched with passing references to Japan. His indisputably precise execution, remarkable cooking technique and bold flavours come through in dishes such as melt-in-the-mouth pork belly preserved in its own juices and lightly caramelised on the outside – delicious! The lunch menu is a steal." - Michelin Inspector

Every bite was delicious! It isn’t French, it isn’t Japanese, it is a new creation that brings nothing but pleasure. Attentive and kind service. The room is a little cramped and noisy but nothing to detract from the fabulous cuisine and warm service.

Absolutely perfect dinner. My wife says its the best meal she's ever eaten. Being older and with more time at the table I'd put it in my top 5 which says something. It's hard to know where to begin: Each course was perfectly cooked , sauced and then served by charming ladies who paid attention to every detail. The plates were beautiful to look at and pleased and surprised with every bite : High French cuisine with a deft Japanese touch that added balance , color and surpising twists to the sauces that were as good as I've ever eaten. The red Sancerre wine we chose went perfectly with the dishes. Top scores to the chef and crew! Not to be missed and really a bargain for this level of cooking. Why chef has not been awarded a Michellin star is beyond me.

Had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Menu was modern and creative - French culinary techniques were intertwined with oriental flavours and the execution was excellent. Service was great; booking reservations in English, although slightly challenging, were possible. Would dine here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Fantastic flavours, we tried the 6 course menu at dinner. The oyster was amazing, ponzu to die for! Very nice foie gras dish with a piece of eel! Highly recommend and will be back for sure.

Welcoming + highest food’s quality and preparation makes Hito one of the best restaurant in Toulouse. Highly suggested to have a “great taste’s time”. Thanks

A bit Disappointed. The foie gras seems a bit undercooked. The sauce for the squid is a little too salty. The dessert doesn’t look or taste very good.

38€ for a 4 course dinner plus amuse bouche at this small and cozy restaurant. Pleasant meal with some touches of asian flavored. Excellent services. Totally worth a try.
