The Vumba Mountains are a very special area of forest close to Mutare. HiVu offers a nursery, horse riding, kids activity area and a camping area with gorgeous rustic ablutions. The views are outstanding. They also have a lovely coffee shop and deli in Mutare.

For those who like hilly billy, bohemian kind of places Hivu is the place to be. There are quite a number of services including horse riding, camping grounds and a nursery. We were privileged to be taught by a few artists (music, sculpturing and basket weaving) on this site and there is plenty of room for all this.

We visited Hivu Nursery to take part in activities in connection with our weekend get away in the Vumba. Our host and guide Calvin was very pleasant and very committed and dedicated to his work. He made our experience to be truly memorable, especially the picnic in the secret spot. P.S. only the brave can get there.
