Stopped in for lunch and well it was just perfect! I really love the style of the restaurant and how bright and light it is with the larger windows looking over the Erasmus bridge. We didn’t make a reservation but we called right before we arrived and they had a table for us. I do recall maybe a year ago I have had dinner here but the lunch was much more memorable. Service is very good, and food was also amazing. We had a bunch of bites and then main course. The tuna tataki and beef sashimi were definitely my favorite. The Iberico was good maybe a little bit too much fat on it, we didn’t finish it but it was ok. The truffle waffle with duck liver and iberico was really something I’ve never had before, and I really enjoyed the flavors together. I had the scallops which were amazing, and not a bad portion size, usually scallops are the smallest portion on the menu. The old cheeses they have with the cheese plate were some of the best I’ve had. Also the Pulled Pineapple Taco was so interesting! Really nice set up and dish and the flavors were definitely Mexican inspired, really good and not too sweet. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch here, definitely one of my favorites in Rotterdam. Also, their Rolph’s Deli down the street is amazing if you’re looking for a quicker lunch.
