"Locals love cha chaan teng food, a uniquely Hong Kong cuisine that mostly consists of pseudo‐Western concoctions like macaroni with ham in soup; deep‐fried peanut butter sandwiches known as “French” toast; and sweetened condensed milk poured over red bean paste and a compressed ball of shaved ice, a concoction that’s halfway between a dessert and a beverage. Hoi On was once the cha chaan teng of choice for sailors docking at the nearby ports. Several years ago the owner’s daughter gave the place a good scrub, and, to bring back its former glory, hired new staff — including bakers to make their famous coconut tarts. Very cute cafe tucked away. The honeycomb latte was unreal. Beautifully presented and super yummy! Would definitely come back just for that.
Friendly staff.
Quite pricey but worth it.

Very nice and new place to relax, to have a special coffee or just to think about all the world and his wife. Nice and polite service makes this place worth a visit.

Courteous and friendly staff. Super pet friendly. After the good intro on the menu highlights by the staff we simply wanted to try out all of them! The iced oolong was superb and the orange iced brew coffee was refreshing. And the tiramisu didn’t let us down. I’ll come back for the French apple tart topped with an ice cream scoop.
Last but not the least the staff helped us take a pic which turned out the best of the day! ❤️🐶👩🏻👦🏻

50 for a cup of iced coffee is steep, but it's a charming small business that serves beautiful homemade desserts. I once got a small whole cake for a birthday. It was amazeballs.

Blackccino is very good. Not sure if can find something similar elsewhere. It’s a bit like nitro coffee but smoother.

In case you are reading, the place closed down around a year ago. Was really good though, what a shame.
